The little girl was watching the news when an interesting story came on. 


"A young man around the age of fifteen killed himself while presenting what he described as a 'magic trick'. He was recognized as Nathaniel Rasmussen. He ran away a month ago, taking only a handgun which was his fathers Glock." The news reporter said. The mother was horrified as she began to realize that the boy was her son. The mother began to bawl, and the little girl went up to her Mother and asked, "Why is 'thaniel on the tv?"

The teenage boy pulled the couple to the side of the road. 


"Alright so watch." The boy said.


Now the boy looked homeless, his face was a bit bruised and cut. He had sad brown eyes and matted brown. 'Shit brown' he called it. He had a white t-shirt, and blue jeans, accompanied with beaten and busted blue flip flops.


"Watch as I vanish!" He said.


The couple eagerly waited for the trick ignoring the boys condition.


"Now I'm here, now I'm not!" And he pulled out his only possession, a glock, he aimed the gun at his head and disappeared. The only evidence of him being there being the corpse, and the gun.

I don't know you.  I've never seen your username ever before.  I'm kinda new to RPN, and this place is huge, so no big surprise that we haven't crossed paths.


But I saw your statuses and messages on the little sidebar on the main page.


I don't know what's going on in your life, but I promise, it gets better.  You just have to hold on.  You might not think it's possible, but it is.  I know with an absolute certainty that you are fully capable of weathering this storm... No matter how intense the tempest may be, you are absolutely, without-a-doubt able to withstand it... For a storm is naught but chaos.  Full of sound and fury, but signifying nothing.


You are a human.  We humans have an uncanny knack for survival.  You too.


You can survive.  You might not see hope, you might despair, but I promise you, there is yet hope.


I can also promise one other thing:  there are many who care about you.  You may not see them, but you have friends and loved ones who care.  You have people here, fellow authors and RPers...  And you have me.


I realize I am but a stranger to you, but that makes no difference.  I care.  Please, do not give up.  Keep putting one foot in front of the other.  I know it might be hard... It might be painful... It might be incredibly difficult and excruciatingly torturous.


I really do know.


But I know you can do it, and I know you can succeed.


I am here for you, and I suspect many others are too.  Please, let us know you are safe... Let someone nearby know the pain you're in.  Call 911 if you are in real deep.


Trust me on this one - those 911 dispatchers really do care.  They will stay on the line with you if you let them.  They will try desperately to help.  I know they will.


Please don't give up.  Please keep at it.  Because we care.

I'm leaving. I don't want to be here anymore, I'm struggling with all this shit in my life and this is starting to feel like more of a responsibility than a pleasure. Do me a favor, all of you. Don't stop fighting for tomorrow, that rising sun, that signal saying you survived another day, is worth fighting whatever struggle. Please don't give up like I have. Don't ever stare at knifepoint and see it as a sweet relief. Please for the love of God don't consider it, it's not worth it! 

There is a method to my madness. I have a scheme that's flawless where I always end up winning. No matter what happens I win. Since none of you know my plan none of you can stop it. If I get banned from RPN then I'll simply create a new email and a new account, not a single one of you would know better.
