    i think you misread a part of it, A small part of the 'fire' splits off as a ember and it acts independetly till it burns out, combined with runic magick you could produce an actually temporarily human being that would freeze in his steps after running out of its "ember" and collapse

    Would the creation of souls as Embers cast off by a flame that slowly dim out be acceptable? the stronger the fire the longer these embers can remain lit after scattering off but the harder you force the ember too burn the quicker it burns out?

    Okies. I made my characters. I made them both human because I wasn't sure whether mythical creatures existed in that world or not.

    It was just a really long story. I didn't understand the whole gods creating gods and gods and sleeping or something but somehow making more gods... Idk lol. I might have to reread it. And is it the humans that use the runes and stuff or like the semi gods or...?
