Yaaaaaaas, my boo killin' it on Hit the Stage last night! He won first place! So proud!!!!

Good morning, world! In a much better mood today. Starting off fresh. Got a bunch of shit fixed last night that was broken because I have actual, for real OCD and can't just leave things alone, and while it irritates me that I had to spend the time to do that, I can breathe much easier knowing it's all okay.


Gotta do some real adult work today, but once that's done I'm gonna start knocking more things off my prior to-do list. 


A) Finish CS for Romantics.


B) Find my threads for BC 1.5 and get them moved out of the archives finally....or maybe I'll just start that over entirely since I have to overhaul the storyline for that anyway....and just c/p the one starting post into the new game....yes, that sounds better (why yes, I am thinking out loud as I type!)


C) Do the makeover on Angels & Demons and toss up an interest thread again so I can hopefully start that universe over entirely.


D) Hash out a plot for this Magical Boarding School thing I wanna do and start designing something for the interest thread.


This has been my daily "remind myself to do these things" journal that nobody needs to read ever, lol. Shut up, it helps me organize my thoughts! Taking full advantage of the no character limits thing here... *still my favorite thing, lulz*

*deep breath* Deleted my last rant. Trying to remember to stay positive. I fixed the character sheet that was messed up. Sort of. And by "fixed" I mean I had to go make all new banners from scratch to fill into the broken spots. It doesn't look as good as it did before, but at least it's legible now. Istg if I have to waste another full hour of my life fixing shit the site breaks every time it updates something, I'm going to lose the bit of positivity I've been desperately clinging to since everything got switched over. I like the new system. I love the new system. I don't love that it keeps destroying my work every time something changes. I'm starting to get paranoid about everything now. It makes me want to hold off on doing anything else until all the updates are done. 

Omg, my character history is soooo long in the sheet I just update. Uhhhh, sorry to the other players in the romantics game. I wrote a ficlet. I didn't mean to. It got away from me.

Was the move on the all images supposed to be finished? There are a lot of images that are still missing. I have an entire character sheet that is now a mess because all the pics are awol. It took me a long time to size them all just right, so I'd really rather not have to redo them. I don't even remember what they all were, come to think of it.

Hokay. Things to work on:


*Revamping my Angels & Demons game. It needs a makeover before it can properly be seen in public again, lol.


*Starting a new Magical Boarding School sort of RP because, dammit, I have tried to get this one character into two similar games on two different sites and both times the games have fallen through. I want to play him, so I should just freakin' make my own game!


*Make my CS for the new game I've taken interest in...which will hopefully actually start. I have a horrible habit of signing up for games that never get off the ground, lol. This curse needs to be broken!


*Hashing out a new plot for the game I adopted and hopefully building some interest in version 1.5 of said game.

ALSO...methinks I can officially start recycling some of my previous FCs by this point. I have to face the facts: my old games are dead. They're dead and they're not coming back. When you lose the GM or half the players, no amount of CPR can fix them (with the exception of one game that has a few very dedicated players). 


Don't worry Minhyukie, Wonho, Kihyun, and Taehyung! I'll find somewhere else to use you! I promise!!!!

Dammit. With the old thread system back I can't just go easily find all the games I participate in listed in my main menu anymore. Lol, it's okay RPN mods. I won't actually complain. One of those: Can't please everyone sorta deals. I'll go back to listing them in my siggy where I had them before for quick access. 

I have concluded that it's me. I just migrate towards probably older players who have actual lives and stuff, meaning they can't be online nearly as much as I am. Not that I don't have a busy life. I actually work seven days a week. It's just that the majority of my work consists of being on the internet all day long, so I have some time between my daily tasks to hop over to my play sites to see what's going on. I am now on two different roleplay sites and both have the exact same lag time windows where no one is talking to anyone. I'm all over in my corner going, "BE MY FRAAAND, I'M LONELY!!!" and no one is around. 

Sometimes you need to stop what you're doing so you can capture that perfect moment between your idols. Forever.

Soooo....do you have to follow every single thread inside a game in order to the get the notifs? Because I followed just the main game on a newish thing I joined and just realized the GM was posting new threads within it (thank god gameplay didn't start yet) without me knowing it. I just randomly checked on a whim to see where the progress was. Yes! There was progress! Important character information that I was completely missing out on! And one of the players from a different game I'm in also didn't get any notifs until she checked randomly, and she was missing out on actual gameplay. Shouldn't following the main game automatically mean you get notifications every time anything inside it is posted?

I am starting to get pretty damn good with manipulating these tables to do what I want. I'm trying to do as much on site as I can so that as the new features come it'll be easy to adapt to them. Once we can do background colors, text over images, and have access to full formatting inside accordions/tabs, it'll be a piece of cake to make some really nice posts. Yeah, this system is definitely way more up my alley than all the lines of coding.  


(Sorry, code people, but I was never shy in proclaiming my dislike of all that jazz before. It was just so not my thing.)

Goddammit! I wish people could be a little more patient for the site to finish up with all its fixes/updates. I just lost my favorite GM to my favorite games. I wrote fanfics for that freakin' character, I loved him so much! *cries in a corner*

*sigh* RPN is just as dead on the weekends as always. Why are you all out having lives and shit? I work half the entire day on the weekends and still find time to be on here! .....We're going to pretend that I don't live on the internet pretty much every moment that I'm not at work so this rant seems more valid....

I'm assuming video uploads will be a thing that's coming back in the near future, yes? I just went to share something and realized I couldn't and was sad for a second, lol. It is not the most important thing in the world by any means, but we did actually use it a lot.


....As everyone's using RPN as like secondary FB now that we can post mostly whatever we want in our status updates, lol. But like an exclusive club FB where all the cool kids are. I kinda love it.
