News from my Exalted campaign. Laser beams, winged people, not-so-stealthy stealth, lots of us getting beaten and heroes on the run again.
Ouch, my Scion suffered her first defeat to a legend 6 elder fire giant after having taken out four of his smaller friends with her fists.
First session as a GM was fairly successful. Welcome to the Five Fingers, suckers. You're already screwed.
@Alex I'm still pretty nervous about the figurine part. I'm afraid it might get too boardgamey, had that experience with my first DnD game..
Starting a Iron Kingdoms 2ed campaign for my friends tomorrow. I'm not used to GM so it's a bit exciting. Crime fun in Five Fingers is a go!
@Thief i concur XCOM is wonderful. Not much replay value though.
NWOD Isn't that confusing, the system is just White-wolf simple. You just need to read the specifics for the setting you play in.
@Alex I'm talking about a One Hit KO. He just had to shoot an arrow and one of us went Incapacitated. Frustrating bugger that one.
Finally! Finally our GM allowed us to kill off his abyssal OHKO archer. That was one annoying antagonist that we couldn't do anything about.
So today's Exalted game taught me one big lesson. My GM are very into The Witcher lately. Very, very into it.
Recently in Scion: The heroes were beating eachother up in caves! Strange african gods with no teeth appeared! A war of Jinn and giants? Fun

Scion have good books. It doesn't even need that much description since there is unlimited amounts of material about mythology on the net.
The Unshaped was destroyed, the Wyld Hunt deflected, wavecrest saved and we got an awesome batcave from my previous life. Cool storyark end
So in yesterdays Exalted game my character officially became the Feathered One. Now we have to protect the west from an unshaped threat. Eep
But Ignitedstar reading wonderous description of the worlds and learning the rules is half the fun.
Good luck finding a group Sherwood. Too me close to a year to establish one of my own. Finding someone willing to GM is the hardest thing.

Honey, i'm home! I'm back from Fastaval now, a week of tabletop games of every sort. Boardgames, MTG and roleplay 24/7. It's been awesome.
