If that started playing out-loud on one of the school iPads you'd certainly get strange looks on the random screaming and loud dramatic music. -Wheeze.- XD

I believe more in God than I believe in the Bible, if that makes any sense.

Sodom and Gomorrah? God gave every one of these types of people plenty of opportunity to change their ways, but they insisted with being fine with child sacrifice, incest, and all sorts of nasty stuff, and it was the same during Noah's time. One thing a lot of people don't understand about God is that He is equally both loving and just. He wants others to change from their ways and follow Him, but He also punishes the sinful and unrepentant in acts of justice. After so many given chances, He had to  punish the rebellious people of those cities. He even said that He wouldn't destroy the cities if there was just one righteous person in there, which there wasn't. He let Lot escape with his family, who were righteous and followed Him, and put the rest of the cities to fire.

Satan himself is actually not the prime enactor of punishment, like you implied. God's punishments aren't unfair at all, especially when you can easily see the inner nature of pretty much everyone one Earth. Just look at politics and the news alone—we're greedy, corrupt, and gradually devaluing the lives of people, and frankly, the world is going to the crap-heap whether we like it or not. God is tolerating all of that on a daily basis, and since He's outside of the confines of time and space, He knows every thought of every person and every event that has, is, and ever will unfold, which means He knows more about the disgusting, dark parts of corrupted people than we could ever realize. Why doesn't He get rid of it all? He wants others to turn from their selfish ways and turn to Him for guidance, helping those in the world who need good news. Hence, God is equally loving and just.

Adam and Eve are the actual representations of humanity from its earliest state. Through their decision, they brought a curse on them and the entire world around them, so it's not God's fault at all. It's the nature of "original sin" itself—the idea that everyone is born with the curse, and by legal definition, we are already on a path to our own demise. Through this humanistic-driven decision that humanity itself made, we made ourselves destined to be punished as we deserve, since we can't ever stop doing sin as a result. This is why God made a sacrifice to redeem ourselves from His own wrath. He can't just "let go" of all the horrible things that people have done over entire millenia, so He needs to punish them like they must be. Does He like seeing His creations put to punishment? Not at all. Just like a father should reprimand his children to behave themselves better, so God does the same. He actively encourages others through the Bible to stop accepting the norms of human nature and be transformed into something new—to accept His Son's sacrifice and be redeemed with Him again.

tl;dr I think the Bible's "contradictions" can be reconciled, especially when "equally just and equally loving" is part of God's inner character.

It is not only normal, but it's also healthy to cry. Tears (particularly those produced from stress) get rid of chemicals that produce the stress hormone cortisol. They also help to clear and better vision by lubricating the eyelid and eyeball, preventing dehydration of the eyes and washing away dust. A study done in 2008 by the University of South Florida found that 90% of people reported feeling better after crying. Also, as I said earlier, tears from crying release stress hormones, which reduces tension and helps prevent high blood pressure and other problems with physical health that are caused by other methods of dealing with stress (Borreli 1).
We did those skit things, the person who was cocky yesterday?

no disrespect meant towards him, but, the mannequin challenge they did in it ruined it for me tbh..

I doubt he sees me as a friend, sure, he's a, decent guy,but he's quite competitive. He tries to make everything a competition.

But, he knows nothing he says can scare me, and that I'm a mellow person.

All I question, from him, is why try to compete with me.

He's lost, and gained some respect from me.

But that, his statement with "You just know mines better than yours."

That made him lose some respect.

Sure, maybe he sees me as a friend, but he hardly speaks to me otherwise. That's another thing that confuses me about it.

    sorry for possible text wall.
