My love... I wish she was here. But no, she was just another vivid hallucination. I built my life around her, but now she's gone. My life is gone. I suppose I have no real support without her. Flicker is going to be okay. After a little under a week of critical feeding care and medicine, the vet has performed the surgery. She had an overgrown tooth that would stab into her tongue whenever she tried to eat or drink. That went on until she lost a third of her already low body weight and became very dehydrated. The vet has worn down the tooth so she can eat once again. We will be able to pick her up soon.
