(Meanwhile)
"Hey, come back!"
Virgo jumped at the flying cape, only to miss and land on the ground roughly. He stood up and groaned, watching as his cape flew around the courtyard like a paper bag in the wind.
"How am I supposed to face the perils of evil without my cape?! Without it, I'm nothing!"
And so began him running around, flailing his arms as he tried to catch the white ghost.
"Thirty."
"Fifty coins." Deja insisted, not enjoying how long this was going. He may be the customer, and they may say the customer is always right, but he was unmistakably wrong. An enchanted necklace like that couldn't be that "cheap". Though, she did only get it for ten coins... And maybe the quality leaves a bit more to be desired but...profit either way, right?
Nah, it had to be fifty.
"Thirty." The man took up a somewhat threatening tone, sizing her relatively small figure up.
Deja snapped her fingers and her mercenaries cracked their knuckles. She glanced to the side, bored. Clearly he knew nothing about prices. Also, he was a cheapskate. Those kinds of people were the worst.
"Fifty! I meant to say fifty!"
And just like that, her eyes lit up. "Ooh, I guess the customers are always right. Pleasure doing business with you." His hand shook as he handed Deja an unreasonably heavy bag of coins. About to dash off, Deja shook her finger. "Ah, ah, ah. No walking away until I count all of these. Let's see...five...ten..." Deja nodded. "All right, fifty it is. Go about your merry way." Grumbling, the man complained about her and ran off. "Ha, just got here in Nolan and I've already made a profit!"
