• I just had the best idea

At some point in my life, I want to get a soundboard and load it with everything Kosh says
Apologies to anyone I've promised to do something for and have forgot - unfortunately chemotherapy has some rather permanent side effects on memory. Bear with me. :)

take your time, you've got this <3
Hi, just a random stranger here. Just stumbled over your quest rp by accident and couldn't stop myself from taking a closer look - figured I'd stop by to let you know that it's simply hilarious, well done. Have a good day!

    Gosh, yeah.
Honestly, like I said, I have 0 plans for the future of the RP at the moment. That orb could have anything in it, that drawing could mean anything, Sue's past could go anywhere. I don't know too much more than the players. I have a basic set of ideas to follow if things go the way I do expect, but not much more than that, because if someone decides to say "Become the murderer you were always meant to be" and rolls a 6 then screw me lolol

And yeah... While things slipping away as the RP continues CAN be a good thing sometimes (Once in awhile it can be a nice way to develop your characters more), it often really isn't. I have to admit, myself, I don't think there's nearly the same amount of wit in my most recent posts than there was in my first few posts... However, we're always our own worst critics, so I can't really say for sure. All I know is that my motley crew is enjoying themselves, and I'll just have to take their word for it that it's all good, lol.
Thanks for the encouragement :) It doesn't go unappreciated, that's for sure. The hardest thing about Quest RPs probably is... having to write EVERYTHING. It's physically quite time consuming, anyone can tell you that, which is why I've had to tone down the frequency of posts, along with mental health reasons.

Having no plan at all seems like the safest bet for this kind of rp - one "bad" roll and you can safely throw away all the things you thought about beforehand, that's true. Still interesting that you don't have too many plans with the different objects, apparently. You know, when you read the rp, you think: Oh, those must be important, they'll explain everything - but it sounds more like 'hey, I came up with these different things, have fun with them and see where it leads us'. I mean, that's how the entire rp is going, but still - you'd expect some kind of master plan in the background.

I think that the first few posts lent themselves towards more ridiculous things - it was pretty much total chaos, and very few things were actually established. The house is a much more controlled environment, one where it's less likely to find bees, mushrooms, and non-existing reflections. Maybe that's part of what might be lacking, from your perspective? Personally, I didn't feel like the quality went down the further I read; might read differently if you read things in one go, of course, like I did, you don't feel the breaks in-between that much. You kind of just scroll over them and read the next post... anyway, when people have fun, and you have fun writing the posts, there's not really anything to be concerned about, is there?

Certainly time-consuming, you can see that. How much does it differ inspiration-wise? Like, in the usual rp, you always get the other persons' responses in-between who move things forward, give you a lot to work with and so on; here, it's just a few lines and the rolls, so that should make things harder as well, right? Or do you feel it's easier because there's more freedom?

Almost missed the alert, a few different threads exploded today - well, more or less, things have been quiet for a while for me and now there's suddenly two new rps at once... maybe I'm just getting old... hope you're doing well :)

I have tested this extensively for the past five minutes, and I must admit, I did not experience this sensation. Should I consult a doctor, am I broken?
