    They could both be the co-council. Like how Phoenix has both Maya and Pearls at various points depending on the case and the game.

    Or they could be co-council to different attorneys. In Phoenix's games he has Maya as his co-council while in Apollo's game he has Trucy as his co-council.

    I can see why you'd think that but really. I've seen it in other works from the time. Having a posh git lower themselves to talk to humble you was considered quite the honour. An attitude that still persists in my country, sadly.

    Fair enough! I just remember her using it when speaking of Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice and I'm pretty sure that wasn't entirely serious, but that doesn't mean she didn't also use it to mean a good thing when it was a noblewoman she actually liked or respected.
