    Both. Like, a Kirby game where meta knight becomes meta knight. maybe a megaman thing where he starts out weak but gets abilities (e.g. projectile from sword slash) from killing bosses. He could get his wings and mask that way. And in the end, you could even have a nice bossfight against the actual Kirby. Like, you know when Kirby picks up the sword to fight Meta? but you play as Meta in that fight.
