    My grandmother once told me that back in her college days there was a time when the teacher invited an author to watch the class as they analyzed one of his poems. As the teacher explained stuff, the author just kept shaking their head and telling her that she was completely wrong.

    It’s funny that literature-based classes are just rating how well you can guess the teacher’s opinion.

    What really confuses me though is how some people go and actually get that playing video games doesn’t cause violence, but then turn around and make the exact same argument just with the topic changed like “playing a game with sexualized female characters makes you sexist”.
