An Isekai is, at it's core, a story in which the main character/characters is/are trapped in another world, which is what the word Isekai means when translated from Japanese to English. Probably not exactly, since stuff like this tend not to have very good direct translations but that's besides the point. It's largely an anime trope but it's existed longer than that such as, for example, the Wizard of Oz.

They also have a disturbing habit of overlapping with the harem genre for some reason.
Types of Characters/Roleplayers you'll run into on RPN #5: The Ent

The Ent is called as such because they move very slowly. While they may seem like Ghosters, they're not quite the same. The Ent actually does post it's just that they do so at such an irregular and slow rate that half the time you may even forget their character is in the RP. Regardless, it is possible to have a good RP with them if you're willing to cut them slack and maybe poke them every once in a while.
Concept: a TV Show about an Ent that is a Detective who solves crimes very slowly.
Society be like: Only when your Mortgage is payed and your Student Debt settled do you have my permission to die.
If you think the words "realistic" and "angst" are synonymous then I sincerily hope that you're okay and your life improves sometime in the future.

    What it actually is:

Yes, I know it's not a perfect one to one comparison since Loki actually planned to be there but my point stands: Satan is a useless idiot.
You're not a true 40s Housewife unless your husband is off at war and has a picture of you he looks at all the time while saying "I've got a girl waiting for me back home."

Isn't going off and dating someone else while your husband is at war part of it, too?

    Yes, that is important.
A physics lesson for weebs: The Law of Conservation of Energy is basically the same thing as the Law of Equivalent Exchange from Fullmetal Alchemist. The only real difference is that upon changing energy into another form some of the input energy is always quoteunquote "lost" or, more accurately, simply not doing anything useful.
The only thing the Trolley Problem accomplishes is causing people to argue about the Trolley Problem.
Story Time with BackSet: So literally yesterday a friend of mine said, for no real reason, that he needed a himbo. And immediately me and another friend sang the first to lines of the chorus of "Holding out for a Hero" but with Himbo replacing Hero in perfect freaking harmony!
Chris Pratt now officially has 4 Lego figures based on characters he either physically played or voiced.

Today, I ran into someone on FE Heroes who's profile message was "Never forgive and never forget" in Spanish and so am now worried about this person. Who are they never forgiving and what are they never forgetting. I must know.
    • Targeting System Redirection Law: Upon seeing a post calling out a certain behavior, 80% of people who engage in that behavior feel the need to defend themselves as if the post was specifically targeted at them.
Have you ever wondered why Garfield hates Mondays? He's a cat, his mondays are the same as every other day for him.

So I looked it up and apparently he hates Monday's because they remind him of how depressing and cyclical his life is.
    • The Good Samaritan Punishment Act: If a user who isn't a moderator attempts to defuse a flame war or a debate that is about to become a flame war, that user will be accused of "rent-a-modding" and subsequently ignored. In some extreme cases, the user trying to defuse the argument will be reported and potentially be given an infraction or be outright banned for this behavior.
