I wrote something on my extra scrap paper from my math midterm
It's from Digimon, and it's sort of heart wrenching because it's based on the third Digimon Tri movie. ;-;
DEAR GOD I LOVE AND HATE THIS
She didn't know who she was or why she was here, only that she was called "Akari." Her friends, the Digimon, told her she wasn't one of them, and yet, they welcomed her anyway.
Deep down, Akari knew she was missing something. When she closed her eyes to sleep, orange flashed behind her eyelids, followed shortly by a burst of other colors, like blue, green, red, yellow, pink, purple, and gray. She didn't know if these colors meant anything, or if they were simply a hallucination.
Her clothes were odd, too. A white button down shirt with short sleeves, short black skirt, and black sneakers paired with white ankle high socks. The top button was undone, as if she had once worn something around her neck, but she couldn't remember what.
Days had passed since she'd first woken up in DigiWorld, and she loved every second of it, especially with the Digimon here.
That is, until others like her appeared.
Akari was sitting by a stump her Digimon friends were playing on when suddenly she noticed them: other humans, most dressed similar to her.
Leaping up, she stepped protectively in front of the Digimon, a scowl setting on her face. It was pure instinct that caused her to do this, even though she was practically incapable of defending herself or her friends.
A boy with wild brown hair stepped forward, his expression a mixture of sadness, relief, and, most of all, heartache. "We don't want to hurt you. In fact, would you mind showing us around the Digital World?"
Akari hesitated. The Digimon were peering at the humans, drawn to them, like she was.
The boy especially made her heart ache with yearning.
"Okay, I guess," she murmured, letting her guard down, but instinctively reaching up to her neck, growing confused when she found nothing there.
Digging in his pocket, the boy held out a circular pendant. "Is... Is this yours?"
Warily, Akari took it, turning it over in her hands, fingers running over the strange engraving. It felt familiar in her hands, though something told her it belonged around her neck.
Like a flash, her memories returned, and she remembered exactly who she was and what these people and Digimon meant to her.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at the boy--at Tai. Still clutching the pendant, she threw her arms around him, sobbing his name over and over into his chest.
He hugged her tightly and whispered, "Welcome back."
*cries*
EXPLANATION (Include spoilers)
This is taking place around the end of the third Digimon Tri movie, in which the Digital World basically started over, thus erasing the memories of the Digimon partners. My OC, Akari, the Digidestined Protector, got caught up in all this, but managed to throw her pendant (which gives her all her powers) out to Tai and the others just before her own memory was erased.

Hmm, I think I may actually make that novel idea a roleplay. Just depends on if people are okay with some of the characters having fairly set personalities. >.>

I will spend about an hour when I get home on catching up on replies and all that jazz. I apologize for not doing so before, but I've had midterms all week and needed that nap yesterday. Hopefully I'll do everything I need to in that hour. If not, it'll have to wait until tomorrow, when I'm patting myself on the back for finishing my midterms. XD

I don't think I've ever been as excited as I am right now. The fact that they got Joshua Seth out of retirement to come back as Tai is just so flipping amazing. I am actually "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"-ing whenever I get especially hype about it.

I got a friend request on MyAnimeList today, and I was curious about the person, so I check out their profile, right?
Their tenth favorite anime ship was a couple from a well-known incest anime, a genre I refuse to watch or read or ANYTHING because, well. Incest.
But their first favorite was NaLu.
