My pen name is rockstarcrossing or "CG", whichever you like better. I’m a cis female, 27 years old and straight. My time zone is US Central. I'm pretty active, for those seeking other writers who also. I will only roleplay with people over 21, in and out of character. For partners, I prefer others closer to my age over over. I must drop a note here for trigger warnings because the content will not be for the faint of heart. I will be honest to avoid wasting my time or anyone else's.

Roleplaying
  • I tend to stick to concrete characters. I have two right now.
  • I’m interested in realistic fiction, fame, music, romance, friendships, drama, angst, etc. I’m not fond of contemporary modern settings (E.g., anything past 2012).
  • Romance is encouraged but not required. I prioritize story above all and heavily lean toward long-term.
  • No fandoms, but I have dabbled with The Walking Dead.
  • My reply frequency is at least once a day. I can be patient. Twice or once a week is a bit slow, for my preference.
  • I roleplay on a Discord server, Google Docs, or maybe here. These days, I prefer Discord.
  • I’m a detailed literary roleplayer. Because of burnout, I've lately been leaning toward multipara. If inspired enough, I can go to novella. I write in the third person and past tense, and I would be happy if my partner did, too.
  • I only do MxF for romance.

About me
  • Writer for over ten years, but I feel a bit burnt out. Bare with me, please. It's been a rough year for me in terms of roleplay.
  • I'm a total nerd. I love films, music, and quite a few video games, and I am a casual fan of combat sports.
  • I am a photoshopper and artist! If I like a roleplay enough, I’ll whip something up.
  • I like OOC chatter but avoid topics that may start arguments. However, RP discussion is crucial for me. I will not accept random starters or writers who don’t communicate.
  • My pitfalls are my straightforwardness and lack of confidence as a writer. Despite these, I try to give my best.

I applaud you for reading this wall of text and would be flattered over those who prefer wordy responses. I probably won't be as much, so if you want to reach out to me at a quicker pace, my Discord is the same as my username here.

”Wait a minute… how does a perfectly normal sane human introduce themselves?” She lifted her head from the keyboard, confusedly trying to understand the blank text-box that was in-front of her. Well, shoot.

Roleplaying jokes outta the way. Hey, there! The name’s Star! And I have been a passionate role-player for many many years, ever since my little toddler hands picked up a doll.

From that fateful day on, my head buzzes with ideas for my favorite fictional creations. I am new to this forum and forums in general, so please be gentle with me!

I’m looking for some new fresh worlds to ink with other lovely like-minded individuals! I am about 13-15 years old, and I prefer to stay within my age group. Safety first, folks! (She/Her)

Less about me, more about Roleplay!

Roleplaying Style: If you think I yap too much…you’ll see that I’m ready to pour thousands of paragraphs onto you…Well, for a better understanding, I write more than two-three paragraphs in a single go. Or at least, I hope so. I’ve lost count, but I am willing to lessen it if you get overwhelmed! My style mostly focuses on describing the emotions and situations of characters and events.

My dialogue also has a focus on differing the voices of characters, e.g; a hard-boiled detective OC will have me writing out an accent like this.

“Case’s as good as cold, doll. ‘S been for a while. Ever since ‘dey got away.”

Also, I write ONLY in third- person. I don’t mind how you role-play at all, but please don’t waves at you me! But, of course, I am happy to provide transcriptions for any accent I write. What can I do? They’re just so fun to write!

ROLEPLAYS:
I am not interested in Fandom Role-plays, probably because I can never finish shows or movies (…procrastination, baby!) However, hit me up for any original ideas! I’ll probably be lurkin’ that part of this forum mostly!

Although, I’ll probably accept most original ideas, I do have some preferences for genres.
Genres I mostly prefer are: Noir, Sci-Fi, Retro, Post Apocalyptic, Apocalyptic, Mysteries, Royalty/Kingdom, Low- Fantasy, Magic, Dystopian, Found Family/Adoption (I LOVE THIS ONE!).

Genres I may/may not accept and aren’t my most preferred are: High Fantasy, Slice Of Life, Military/Army.

Genres I will NOT accept: Romance or anything of the sort (Please understand that I am uncomfortable. I am a very platonic-orientated Role-player). High school/Academy/Any school based RP. (C’mon man, I role play to escape my life. I don’t wanna do homework icly too… :[. However, I’m fine if it’s a subplot or the setting is used interestingly, e.g; We’re detectives investigating a run-down school where a crime was conducted two years ago.)

My OCs are mostly planned on the spot for the roleplay I see, and I am perfectly fine with planning beforehand for anything.
Expect a lot of angst though… Angst is the spice of life for me! And a burning hot chili for my OCs.

I do not have discord.

Thanks for reading! Hopefully, we get a chance to role-play if our writing obsessed hearts guide each other on the same entwined path of wonder.

Hello there, I'm bee and I'm 21 years old person. I come from the uk and I am a queer nonbinary roleplayer myself, it's really nice to meet you all and join here!

I have over 7 plus years experience and have done a variety of oc/fandom roleplays within different genres as well. My favourite genres are horror, vintage/retro eras, romance as always, fantasy, gothic, apocalyptic, fandom, mature/darker and original. I love to explore new and some of my favourite genres mentioned within the list itself. I hope to find more as I explore around here!
My hobbies outside of roleplaying are gaming, baking, art, and music (a shared variety of genres, happy to hear any suggestions)!
I am an animal parent at heart, I have older dog called Tia she is a teenager combined with an elderly woman sweetly together.


I hope we can talk soon and make great connections to combine our creative minds together!
 
Hi. I'm Benji. 33 years old, nonbinary.

I have been roleplaying since the late 2000's. Round about there, anyway. I've been a writer basically most of my life and have recently gotten back into writing. I found my way back to roleplaying, too, but have had some trouble getting back into it. I have a rather busy life (work full time, three kids, partner with a recent brain injury, helping take care of my sick mother), and so I come and go. I love writing, though, and when I really get into a roleplay tend to be reliable with responses.

I prefer to use original characters. I have a few that I've been using since the early/mid 2010's. They are my 'babies', and I'll probably keep using them. There are a few others that I've developed in recent years. I don't tend to create characters on the spot. They take time for me. So, most RPs would involve this group of characters.

I'm not big into fandom roleplay, but have a few exceptions (Harry Potter, The Walking Dead, and I'd probably try Pokemon... and those are the only three I can think of off the top of my head). Beyond that, I'm open to a lot of genres. Horror, supernatural (no werewolves/vampires, though), cops/detectives, even slice of life if done right.

Romance is hit or miss with me. I'm not very big on romance, but if the thread goes in that direction, I'm generally okay with it. I like it to feel natural. If the characters have chemistry, they do. If they don't, they don't. MxM, MxF, and FxF are welcomed for romance (though most of my OCs are males, so obvious slight preference for the first two).

My replies vary in length. Really, it depends on the RP partner. I consider myself versatile in this respect. I've been known to do rapid fire, but I have also been known to do novella. Of note, the latter will result in me taking longer to reply (as I will obviously put more thought and time into it).

It has been a while since I've been on a RP forum. I am trying to get back into the swing of it. I've had a lot happen in the last several years. I'm here to try, though, and I'm looking forward to it.
