If you need some ideas on what to include in your introduction to the community, you can mention:
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

Hello there :)

I go by Mercy online to avoid giving out my real name. I’m 21, engaged, and live on the East Coast of the United States. I have a 7 month old standard poodle puppy named Ani. She was named after Anakin Skywalker hehe. My fiancé and I had a cat (she was my childhood cat) that passed away at 13 years old last week. I currently work full-time as a dog bather, but will be searching for a new job once he and I get our own house.

I’ve been roleplaying on and off for like 8 years. Now that I’m older, my roleplays are much longer and better written. Some fandoms I’m interested in include, but are not limited to:
The Hunger Games
Jujutsu Kaisen
Attack on Titan
Telltale’s The Walking Dead

In my spare time, I love to read and I’ve been very interested in the ACOTAR series. I play video games, mostly Overwatch and Fortnite, and I enjoy doing my makeup and listening to music.

The old site I used is getting reformed in a way that won’t allow for people to roleplay, so a lot of people from this site have been searching for a new place to roleplay.

My name is Niko, and I’ve been role playing for the past ten years give or take. I came to this site since the old site I used had basically shut down all ways of communicating so I was looking for new sites! I typically write romance and sci-fi stuff (have my own ocverse and all that)
My hobbies are reading, writing, and working out, as well as playing video games.

I have three cats currently names Dazai, Chuuya, and Princess Snickers.

And I don’t have a lot of fun facts, I’m chronically ill and I’m nonbinary and just a silly lil guy and I hope to make friends!

- My personality type is ENFP-T/"The Campaigner."
- I've been role-playing for 10 years. I started back in 2014 on website known as "Quotev," but decided to leave it behind because of recent changes.
- I prefer OC X CC double-up roleplays, and my writing style is very descriptive.
- Cursing and gore don't bother me, but absolutely NO sm*t/s*xual content.
- I prefer to roleplay anime, video games, and cartoons. My favorite fandoms at the moment include the following: Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball Super, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 version), Undertale, My Hero Academia, SPY x FAMILY, Steven Universe, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

i’ve been roleplaying on and off for nearly eight years now. quotev is nuking everything so i came here with my band of friends rip. i enjoy creating my own universes and characters and am an aspiring author!

I’m in a lot of fandoms right now: Cookie Run, Ramshackle, Indigo Park, and Pokémon are the ones that I’m mostly in right now.

One more thing:

Most of the roleplay I love doing are ones where characters just do random stuff (going shopping, hanging out, trying not to make life mundane, etc). There’s a Cookie Run interest check on my account that I hope someone will join.

Yeah you won't believe how many people are so angry even us older generation on there are tick off. They removing groups, post activity, messages and we are lucky that they aren't taking journal all the characters we created would be gone. Thankfully I found rpnation that never do that to people.
 
hi there! starting new things is always a bit nerve-racking, but also exciting so here we go. my name is faye, i'm twenty-four years old and go by she / her pronouns. i'm an english literature student and, although my life is already pretty packed, i can't seem to stop adding more things to it. i just cannot let a day go by without writing which is why i've turned to this site since other sites are being a bit... difficult. i've been roleplaying for around nine years and am always looking for others with similar interests to write with.

which brings me to my interests. i am mostly interested in original roleplays. mainly because they allow way more creative freedom. i love building a world/story with my roleplay partner. i do enjoy roleplaying ships in fandoms or having two original characters for a fandom (for example: tlou 1/2, pjo, atla, certain webtoons and anime...). i'm always down to roleplay anything romance, fantasy / supernatural, thriller / angst, crime, historical eras (feudal japan, the joseon dynasty, the victorian era, roaring twenties, medieval... i'm obsessed with history so i will love you forever if you'd like to do something based around a historical era), futuristic / post-apocalyptic stuff,... related !! i have a list of plots, but feel free to bring your own as well. i adore brainstorming and discussing ideas. i'm perfectly fine with any type of pairing and i enjoy using both realistic and animated face claims !

now, some extra information. i only roleplay in third person and have a descriptive writing style. the average length of my replies is around 600 words, but i can go much higher depending on how much inspiration i have. but, i'm a firm believer of quality over quantity ! i'd rather have a well-written reply of a lesser amount of words than 800+ words of straight-up filler that isn't enjoyable to read. finally, since i am of legal age, i will only roleplay with those over eighteen.
