hihi! I'm Matcha.
I've started roleplaying again after quite the hiatus, so I guess I'm here to make up for lost time. (-公-；) Nice to meet you all.
 
Heyo, my name is born.in.spring however you can call me spring or basically whatever iteration of the my name that you would like to address me by.

A little info dump about me:
- I've been roleplaying since roughly 2015-2016. With hiatuses throughout the years up until now back to back. If relevant, I haven't roleplayed seriously since the summer of 2020 so I will probably be a little rusty.

- My writing style can be considered flexible, most of the time I reflect the same amount of lines whether that be a few lines, paragraphs, or a motherload. I would like to say that my very minimum has to be at least a paragraph. Also, english is not my first language, so my word usage at times may differ from the common utilization so if there is a phrase or word you believe I may be using wrong in the context that I am using it in--feel free to correct me.

- Now I may bit of an outlier in that I am NOT someone that roleplays as already existing characters. I have no desire to roleplay as a character of a specific work or have the person I'm roleplaying with be using an already existing character in a work (I have nothing against people that do roleplay in fandoms; I just don't do that is all). I don't mind if we use the setting or a rough plot inspired by those works, but when it comes to our own characters they must be OCS. (for ex. setting is the bnha universe but we're using ocs.)

- I like romance (BXB,BXG,GXG,nonbinary), but I also greatly enjoy just a platonic roleplay btw our OCs. Depends on my mood I guess.
- 1x1 preferred, groups never seem to work out but I'm open. Depends on my mood.
- I'm open to just about any genre, just ask and I'll tell you my opinion. The most experience I have though are in modern, sci-fi, school setting, and fantasy. Depends on my mood.
- I prefer rping with human ocs or adjacent (vampires, sirens, etc; as long as they have human features.)

(Fxxx, I'm realizing this is getting a lot longer then most posts on this page. Ummm, I like good worldbuilding, humor, and openness. If you're uncomfortable tell me. If you just wanna talk we can do that, I like people that rant about a topic I can ask a lot of questions about. And ah, I'm sorry this is getting long. I'll end it here, thank you for reading.)
 
Howdy, 'm the Endy, 21yr, I use to roleplay when I was younger and would like to jump into the wagon again, I've been doing it for about a month now through DnD so The fantasy, combat even a bit of romance, is my cup of tea. I mostly draw on my time off, that's about it. on my end.

Hello all, I'm known as Citrus Corvidae as you can probably see, but for simplicity's sake I will respond to CC, Corvid, or any variation of my username you can come up with. (Surprise me, I value creativity above most else). My human person name is information only unlocked by roleplay partners who can prove they're capable of coherency, because I do like to make friends with my writing partners :). I'm 18+ (and prefer my partners to be, as well), & pronouns are He/Him

I've been writing & roleplaying for about 8 years, Semi-Lit to Literate for most of it. I am a big fan of the Horror, Fantasy, Adventure, and Mystery genres, but I pride myself on my flexibility when it comes to types of characters and genres I'll write. Generally, however, I like my plots dark. Doomed romance, tragedy, pain and suffering of fictional beings, that's where I'm happiest. So long as there's a tasty twist of angst in there, give me your best and worst! As for fandoms, at the time of writing this my current hyperfixations are:
-The Raven Cycle
-Wizarding World
-Stranger Things
Considering the abject rarity of book fandom roleplays I have pretty much ever found, I tend to prioritise those. Please, if literally anyone on this site has heard of The Raven Cycle, I am mad with brainrot. Even if we don't roleplay anything, I will be  overjoyed just to talk about it. Other big fandoms I write for include
-Les Miserables
-Jekyll & Hyde
-Frankenstein
-Sherlock Holmes
-Good Omens
-Supernatural (but it's been a while)

Outside of roleplaying, I'm a huge theatre fan (a singer and actor myself, as well as a former techie), and I'm learning to sew for reasons related to my love of historical costuming and cosplay. I've also been working on a vast worldbuilding project for my personal writing for over a year, so I apologise in advance for any uninvited rambling about the world, characters, etc. And would also appreciate suggestions if anyone ends up having the patience to sit through me explaining it all :).

I am the absolute worst at roleplay sites because forum formatting is my definition of hell on earth (it legitimately took me about 10 minutes to even figure out how to make this post), BUT I've grown tired of the dumpster fire that is known as Rolechat and I've got a roleplay plot I've been working on that deserves to see a partner! So here I am!
 
Just joined up yesterday still looking around. I recently started RPing (about 2-3 years, can't quite remember), but I am a long time writer, looking forward to meeting some new people.

Hello! I've been around the roleplay block for a minute, like back during AOL and Yahoo messenger, if those are still things.
I'm a stay-at-home mom, pushing her 40s soon, with years of real-life experience that I put into my story, from being homeless to combat. I can be whoever is needed.

Writing is a form of expression for me, so I put my heart into my story and characters. I prefer partners who put equal heart into their side. I am not the best dungeon master, but I try to help guide the story and events.

I can spend hours writing my story, but having complete control is not as fun as having a partner who can throw in twists. I know the end of my story and how to get there. I know how all characters will respond to specific situations; it's not as challenging or as fun.

About my RP

My RP is based on my partners. If my partner writes like Tolkien, I'll try my best to add the details to write like Tolkien, and I love some detailed RP. Like my friendships, I prefer to have the RP feel organic and not forced. If characters are sitting around a bar having a fun chat and catching up on old times, that should be completely acceptable. I'm okay with RPing canon characters, but I will not break from their nature unless that is the purpose of the RP. I will only do this for short RPs, and my partner needs that good pick-me-up romance or what have you to get their feels out.

Just assume the action will happen. If my character would stop or react differently, I will correct that in my response. So there is no need for 'My character attempts to-'

I'm also interested in everything, so feel free to hit me up. I've RP'd things from anime, books, games, tabletop (D&D and Starfinder), movies, tv-series, and homebrew, so I'm reasonably well versed and willing to learn new characters and lores.

I prefer discord or google docs and would only do forum RP if it was a fascinating hook of mine, like The Witcher.
