Not really sure how to introduce myself so i guess we can go with this

Ive been RPing ever since i was 15 so roughly around 7 years. I suffer from Anxiety Which is the main reason i tend to keep my posts shorter as it helps me not stress about it all too much. i can easily get a paragraph out however

hello all! i go by daphne, i am not new to role playing, however, this is my first time coming across this website. i’ve roleplayed in other communities before i just want something new and fun! i rp descriptively, 3rd person, and realistic-ish themes. i am interested in group rps, as i love getting to see other peoples creativity flow along with my own. i also am interested in 1x1s (: i luvvv drama, comedy, and angst themes but i’m open to others!!

Hello fellow roleplayers!

My name is Katie (She/Her) -- age 27 in March from when I post this -- and I've been roleplaying through text since the end of middle school. I'm a writer deep down, though my RP experience extends further beyond casual writing projects, and sinks deep into the realm of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). My D&D experience compares just as long roughly, as I've ran several games lasting at least eight months in length and played in many more.

I found RPNation after looking for ways to move on from being ghosted by a long-term partner, where a wonderful member of this community left quite a positive and truthful post for a broken-hearted individual like myself, and it helped me a lot. Thanks to this, I've decided to sign up and give this community a go. I enjoy the medieval fantasy and high fantasy worlds the most, though I tend to keep a bit of an open mind to allow all interests find their way in writing. A lot of my newer characters are made with D&D builds as my backbone, flourished through text and description when used in casual writing. I've never text roleplayed in a group larger than three, and most of my experience with this is one-on-one's, but I am always willing to try something if it looks promising!

Outside of roleplay, I hold keen interest in the world of baking and video games. Music I am also passionate about, though I'll admit I am a bit picky with what I prefer to listen to. For anyone curious, my band of choice is Nightwish, and symphonic metal will always be a winner in my books. Another small detail about myself is I am asexual, to which the rules of RPNation help tremendously to what I've been struggling to avoid when it comes to the more adult-themed content that people love to include.

I have been rping/writing for about 15 years taking time in many genres both original, and fandoms. I am very chatty, love to brainstorm ideas, and have a flavor of love for plot twists as long as they are well executed. I hope to enjoy this new refuge for roleplaying, and will do my best to bring some fun to new ideas.

Heyo, I'm Artie! I actually had an account close to, pshh, 5 years ago? And I decided to start new since I found my online friendship circle esp in the rp community has been basically obliterated by real life and pokemon art group dramas :'D
I've been roleplaying for ye a r s. I started on Deviantart, then got introduced to TTRPGS, then flight Rising forum boards... Most of my experience has been on forums and I've really been missing it. I've also taken to DMing, which is fun but doesn't scratch the character arc and narrative itch all that well

I'm a big lover of fantasy (especially non-medieval) or horror (Especially of the eldritch or folk kind) rps, but down to scifi or slice of life too. I like a good bit of adventure and action in my stories, and generally feel that an rp goes better if people have at least a vague plot in mind. Most of all I enjoy creating characters! my TH is overflowing bleas help
I do really like romance in stories, though it hardly is a main theme- While I'm most comfortable with FxF and NBxF, I tend to be very adaptable in terms of that kind of stuff as long as it doesn't seem fetishy.
As for fandom stuff, while I love rping in fandom settings (Bloodborne and Fallout come to mind immediately) I'm super uncomfortable playing canon characters and generally leave them out of the picture.

I'm also an artist that can and WILL get obsessed with the rps and draw like crazy for them, even though my time has waned a lot lately- I'm trying to get back into the swing of doing personal art and sketches but all my old pc couples are broken up I try to write from time to time, even though its not good, and I like video games though I'm EXCEEDINGLY BAD at them (always last in mario kart...). I love singing and I have been trained for it so my voice is very loud, I bake bread occasionally, and dream of growing to be an old lady who keeps bees and owns at least one cow and various chickens.
