Hello! I'll be going by Angel, and for my introduction, I'm going to answer the questions offered in the starter posts:

Hello,
My name is Tyler. I got into roleplay back in high-school and have jumped back in every so often. I like fantasy and some slice of life stuff, and roleplay has always been a sort of release from my daily life, so anything not too close to my life is acceptable. I'm very laid back and open so I am usually up for a lot of scenarios. I am not a literary major so I don't necessarily write essay responses but I try to acclimate to my partners style.
Outside of roleplay I play video games as well as garden, watch a ton of anime and I also keep an ant colony or two. I joined RPnation because I h ave trouble making friends and I haven't had anyone serious to RP with in years.
As mentioned before I have a few ant colonies the biggest one being the 'Little Reds' my Red Field Ant colony and I also have a cat Salem who is 4 this year.

As for the truths and a lie

New to this site, though not new to roleplaying, the name is Balalaika and I have been writing and RPing for about 8-9 years. My interests vary widely, from thrilling crime-based plots to slice-of-life romances to plots with supernatural elements. Or, sometimes if the creative juices are really flowing, a combination of all three! I decided to join RpNation on a whim to try something new and get away from the other RP sites have currently been using. As a writer that much prefers plot-based roleplays over simplistic, sloppy one-shots based on smut alone, I have found that I am an oddity in hopes of finding a community that I can truly write with rather than get hounded by the salacious fantasies of total creeps that dwell on other sites. TMI? Ugh, I apologize, I am just a little fed up.

On a happier note, I have two lovely dogs, a Blue Heeler named Shelby (my partner in crime) and a miniature dachshund named Winston.

Hi I'm Kenny. Just following the new user reccomendations. I'm not much of a gamer these days. Got invited here by friends.

Hey everyone, I go by Moon or Moonie online. I've been roleplaying for about 8 years now. I started back in highschool when I was 17 years old, and I'm proud to say I've only grown and improved as a roleplayer since then. I really love survival, post-apocalyptic, romance, fantasy, and slice-of-life roleplay plots. I am a very detailed writer, so if you enjoy flowery language and lots of detail, we might be compatible players! I personally love lots of detail and flowery language, I love feeling and seeing the roleplay like a movie in my head.

Outside roleplaying, I play Dungeons and Dragons, write short stories and poetry, and play video games (Just started Fallout 4 for the first time, woohoo!). I am a full time college student majoring in Marketing. It's not the most interesting topic in the world, but it's practical for the real world. I'm a history buff, and a huge nerd. I spend way too much time watching anime when I should be studying, but oh well! My current top 5 anime are:

As far as my personal life goes, I have a boyfriend (4 years), and two cats who I adore! I live at home with my parents while I go to school and work part-time at Journey's (shoe retail store). I'm kind of a recluse and really only leave the house to spend time with my boyfriend or my D&D group once a week. Sadly, I don't really have any friends to hang out with except online, not that I really mind though.

I noticed we have a few things in common, like a love for fleshing out characters and their stories, creating new worlds, but I also love to write in general! Poetry and short stories are kinda more my speed, especially just little random creative blurbs.

So far, I've been roleplaying for 2 months. I had no idea about RP until a good friend of mine introduced me to Batman (Nolanverse) fandom and taught me about RP (though the first one was disastrous and most of canon characters are dreadfully OOC T_T).

Both OC and Fandom RPs, mostly into parody, comedy and slice of life. Once I tried canon divergent and used 'what if' plot, occasionally I do action and drama RP.

Does sleeping count? maybe I'm into cooking.

To get to know about RP, specifically about building a story. While not many people like OC meets Canon Character, I'm interested how my OCs would meet Canon Characters but I'm not into shipping, depends on the story. Hopefully I'll be careful not to make my OCs ended up outshined CC's spotlight and turned to blatant overpowered mary-sues/gary-stus (one of my biggest RP & fanfiction fears).

Two 4 months clingy kittens & a young adult cat who hates my gut

My OCs mostly get slapstick injuries in either Looney Tunes style but they can be serious depending on drama RPs, I'm a coffee addict and often forgot my own OCs.

I'm Nobuzout, I have been roleplaying for a good 2-3 years now, sadly the other places I was roleplaying in kinda died so I decided to find a new place. I usually go for medieval or slices of life, If there is anything futuristic or cowboy like those are other liked genres of mine.

I'm not a fan of adding canon characters to a story and usually I try not to create RPs based on an already existing series. Most of my RPs are medieval or maybe slice of life, but sometimes I go for a horror rp or something more different.

Anyways, I always try to write as much as I can to enhance my reply and add a lot of personality and lore to a character, also I'm not used to romance since almost everything tends to end in war/fights, but I can see it happening.

A little about me now, I love retrowave, I'm usually playing something or sleeping, and sometimes I draw my ocs. I also like to create stories on my free time! I also have a habit of going to two extremes, or my OCs are super sad and have a twisted sense of justice, or they are a happy go lucky character with a good life, don't worry tho, I take my time when crafting OCs and their stories/personalities.

Yo, I'm Zyngard. In case you're wondering about the similarity in our join time, me and Fairyfloss up there typically migrate sites together. Much like them, I've done plenty of rp stuff over the years, mostly one on ones, but I'm also a fan of group things, though sadly, the previous site we were using had a tendency for rps to just up and die, so here's hoping that's not as common here. While I'm a fan of fantasy (insert fan-tasy pun here), there's no real particular type of setting that I dislike, futuristic and modern hold their own appeal as well. While I'm not typically interested in roleplaying as characters in preexisting media (i.e. not as Deku from MHA, or something like that), I do believe that some settings from preexisting media can work quite well as rp settings, for instance, the Jojo universe, or the Hunter Hunter universe both have unique power systems, and vast enough worlds, to allow for easy rp integration.
