So, in my search for a roleplay site that wasn't filled with children and/or smut I was referred here thanks to Reddit! So far I'm really enjoying the layout. As I cant say much else as of yet. I've been roleplaying since probably middle school (here's hoping my skills have improved since then, for your sakes at least). It's always a creative outlet I come back to even if I'm away for a while. 1x1 is easier for me seeing as it doesn't have to consume all of my time but I can continue for long periods, but I love the group RP's as more people means more creative minds. I tend to lean towards fantasy but I'm open to explore just about any topic. Story roleplaying is a favorite of course but I also absolutely love quest RP's (D&D, White Wolf etc.). I don't have a website for my characters (I should work on that), there are a few I've used forever but most I tend to just make up to fit a plot on the fly (I owe that skill to my high school Theatre teacher). I think that's about all for now, my profile is mostly filled out so we can go from there. I can't wait to get started and delve into other worlds again. See you in the forums!

My sister introduced me to this site, and while I successfully lurked for almost two years, I think it's time I get out there. I've had a serious lack of RP in my life, and I'm hoping to change that. I'm excited, but nervous, to be here. Here's to making new friends!

I mostly Roleplay fandom based ideas, multipara and third person is how I usually Roleplay. Been role playing since I was 11 (18 now) and still enjoy it like it was the first day I discovered it.

I used to rp years ago but haven't in a while. Due to the current situation I've decided to get back into it. This is a new RPing website than the one I used to use, so it's a little daunting.
My dog's name is Chad, he's a sausage dog and is 15 years old.
I'm interested in RPing in super power, zombie, modern or fantasy genres to get started, nothing too complex.
Now I'm just playing with the text options, hehe.
I have no idea what I'm doing 😗

Hope everyone is doing well, staying safe and all.
I’m supposed to introduce myself but im not sure what else to say other than the basics I suppose.
I’ve been doing roleplay for a few years now. When I stumbled upon it I had no idea that it was even roleplay. A friend of mine introduced it to me and been hooked ever since!
However, don’t know a lot of people willing to roleplay nor did I know where to search until I stumbled upon this site.
However, what i’ve done (and still do) is mostly romantic roleplays. I AM open to trying new ones and branch out, all I ask is that you be patient with me if willing to work with me.

Hey y'all! I'm bread-and-butterflies, in my thirties, and use they/them pronouns. I've been playing ttrpgs on and off for a few years. I've run short campaigns of D&D 5e and Monster of the Week, and played in several other games, both online and in-person. I've been thinking for a while about trying out more text-based, diceless roleplaying, so here I am!

Genre-wise, I'm most interested in fantasy, sci-fi, or other speculative fiction-type of settings. (Such a narrow category, right?) I also absolutely love playing characters who mess up and fail a lot, and in big, dramatic ways. Not sure how well that translates into diceless roleplaying, but that's just a little about me.

I hope to get to know some of you all soon!

My interests usually include fantasy and romance, but I'm really open to any genre or setting, given that I have some time to learn about it. I decided to join this site because I realized that writing keeps me passionate for life and gives me something to look forward to everyday! I go by the roleplay name Jean Granger. I aspire to portray Hermione Jean Granger from the famous Harry Potter series of J.K Rowling. I've been roleplaying for years now, I started at year 2013 but I do not understand the etiquette of roleplayers back then, now I am soul searching and happened to come here through the recommendations of my friends. My plans include being an Canon AU roleplayer of Hermione Granger, post-war settings. If you want to plot with me, please owl me (hit my inbox lol). I am more of a DraMione shipper so my plot would be leading to the romance of Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger but I am open to any plot as long as I can understand it (because sometimes I'm a bit slow).

Please do not expect too much on me, I am still learning the basics and if you happen to notice that there are some errors on my updates and way of roleplaying (probably the usage of terminologies) please do correct me in a calm and nice way. I'm still new here and I really hope to have friends here, I am also willing to learn proper roleplaying.

I like medieval roleplay that is fleshed out and feels natural, only light fantasy.
Love liches and priests, especially their aesthetic.
Come from germany, currently living in the US though.
 
I've had a few years Role play experience. Have had a lotta fun, but recently it's fallen into a slow crawl. Most the people i roleplay with just aren't filling the hole that the person who got me into roleplaying did. I still roleplay with people who are my friends, but i'm looking for someone to maybe fit what got me into roleplay, as he's gotten busy and just won't talk to me, and we sorta ended the friendship yesterday and it broke my heart.

I enjoy medieval Fantasy most of all, and usually play female characters that are not human, elf, or dwarf, usually draconic in nature.
I play DnD every Saturday (AEST) and its my hobby.

Not looking for sympathy really, looking for new friends.
