Introduce Yourself!

Hi there everyone, I’m a long-time role player and I’ve dabbled in most genres but my favourites would have to be horror and fantasy while my least favourite is Sci-fi. I’m a gamer at heart; World of Warcraft, Baldurs gate and the lot, it’s thanks to my dad that I became so engrossed with gaming. It’s also thanks to him that I was brought up on Dungeons and Dragons and Hero’s Quest- It was never a dull day.
I’m 24 and live with my amazing partner who also games as frequently as I do and it’s probably why we click so much, other than our love.
I’m a horror fanatic and will always attempt to watch horror films over everything else; it’s just my thing.
I wanted to join the site due to the realisation that I only have one friend; I find it hard to make them, or keep them, because I’ve got a lot of issues when it comes to friendships- I’ve been betrayed. a lot. My one friend is an amazing girl and I fight her corner as much as I can, I’m a fierce protector. I hope to meet some new people and build a genuine friendship through some writing.

I used to absolutely love engaging in paragraph role plays but the websites either died or I was only contacted by people who wanted explicit content. I would love to create an intellectual role play with someone!

Hello! I also play World of Warcraft! My husband isn't the biggest fan of that game in particular but we are also both gamers. I am not an extreme horror fan but I love fantasy role plays! I have also recently started a DnD campaign with some friends; however, I have never played before so it is definitely an experience!

Good day. I hope everyone managed to read this in good health and spirit.

I've been roleplaying since what I believe is last Thanksgiving. I enjoy it very much. I see it as a good way to share creativity and such. Interests within roleplay for me would be within a horror, thriller, crime, fantasy, romance, and historical genres. As of late, I've been roleplaying a plot (on other platforms) that takes place during the 1700s - 1800s in France. Interests outside of roleplay are fencing, creative writing, a little bit of photography, and the simple beauties the world has to offer. I guess a reason that I joined Rp Nation is to find more people to roleplay with.

I do have some experience with Roleplaying but it has been several years since I have actively roleplayed. I write poetry as a hobby and I am a published author and published my own book.

I have two wonderful cats (yes my avatar is one of them) Panda Bear and Peaches. They make my life a whole lot better. Panda likes to try and steal food from my fingers while Peaches likes to chase her tail.

I am on because I have a lot of time on my hands and am curious about this site. I enjoy original roleplaying ideas. Genres that I am very interested in are Fantasy/Sci-fi, Romance, Human roleplays (must have some historic content and an interesting plot).

Glad to see plenty of activity and people in this forum. There's even some roleplays here I haven't seen before, like the nation-building roleplays. I've always been a fan of 4x games so I'm very interested in them. Hello, my name’s Willow! I’ve been role playing since I was in 2nd grade and It’s become a large part of my life and how my personality is shaped. The role plays that I mostly prefer are OC’s or Detroit:Become Human, but I can also introduce myself to others! I’ve basically joined this app because my real life friends don’t really have as much interest in RP than I do, and it’s only about once or twice a month when we do. Anyways, one of my main things that I love to do is digital draw on PixilArt or Procreate. I can also do traditional art as well! I also enjoy singing and browsing Instagram X Æ A-12 memes for hours on end. I have three pets, a pug, Dogue De Bordeaux, and a Siamese cat. I had a parrot at one point but it escaped and we haven’t been able to to find him. I’m looking forward to Roleplaying with new and interesting people on this platform! I can insure you that you’ll have a great time!

Hello! Call me Key. I used to roleplay a bit on a different site many years ago, but it’s been a long time since I did any non-academic writing. Now I’m hoping to ease myself back into writing for fun. I’m interested in a wide variety of genres, and I can’t wait to see what RPN has in store for me!

Hai! I'm Audzie, an acting (theatre) graduate and playwright. I stumbled upon this site after a quick search online. I was reminiscing upon times where I was really involved in roleplaying communities (notably GaiaOnline, Harry Potter forums from the olden days and MSN Groups - guess how old I am!) and started wondering where people went nowadays to get some collective writing done.

I've been interested in roleplaying since a very, very long time, perhaps when I was 13 or so. Back then I mostly RPed in universes like Harry Potter or video game stuff like Final Fantasy (8 is my personal favourite...! - honestly I would be ecstatic if I could find a few people who would be up for it!! Even just one other person :3 ).

These are the "known" worlds that I am most comfortable with, along with Chrono Trigger/Cross, Grandia 2, Harvest Moon... Very gaming influenced as you can see.

Eventually with a select few friends we moved on to building our own worlds and characters on our own forums, and if I'm perfectly honest, I miss the kind of creative freedom we had at the time. We had so much fun! It was without judgement, always accepting, and willing to include everyone. We had a grand time designing our world maps, character bios, etc. One girl in particular, along with myself, became a full-fledged artist later on into adulthood and we've since always kept in touch. We even met irl last year when she was visiting Montreal!

Nowadays I'm mostly just looking to broaden my horizons in terms of writing in a pressure-free environment. I'm really looking forward to browsing and seeing what the forum has to offer! Do note that I am bilingual (FR/EN) and that sometimes my syntax or choice of words may seem off or different compared to the average... Please correct me as you see fit, this is also an opportunity to improve on that front.

Aside from acting and playwriting I am a musician and poet, I enjoy drawing and sewing, gaming, being lazy with my 2 cats (Fifi: a calico and Merlin: all black) as they are both total sweethearts and cuddlebugs. We definitely have many common interests such as napping and snacking.

As for genres it's a bit hard for me to say, I am a fan of many different types... I suppose fantasy is my favourite - I am familiar with DnD notions for the most part but I would probably require some degree of assistance to make sure I get everything right. I also enjoy genres like romance for the sweetness of it (hopeless romantic would only begin to describe me) and it is definitely one of the things that provokes me to be at my most inspired in life.

Aside from that I am easily inspired and willing to try out all sorts of wonky characters to try and challenge myself into supporting them in realistic (to them) ways!
