It's been 4/5 years, RPN. Excited to be back.

EDIT: Definitely slipped and posted before I finished writing but we'll pretend like that didn't happen.

My roleplaying history began in this very spot, on RPNation, 5 years ago. I had a thing for creating fantasy worlds (see RPN's archives for Saga von Gaia lol), Sci-Fi plots (Uh, I think it was called Eradication), and other fun little roleplays. Quarantine's got me itching to write so I'm back :)

I'll be sneaking around checking the forums to get myself back into the creative writing head space. In the past 5 years, the only thing creative I've written is jokingly changing the font of my lab reports to Comic Sans before switching back to 11pt (12pt is just too big) Times New Roman.

If there's anyone here who remembers me (I was originally paipai900 --> Darth Pai --> Sen Pai), do feel free to message me. If there's anyone here who doesn't remember me, also feel free to message me.

Hello! I'm Charlie and I'm a 22-year-old college student majoring in art history! I'm honestly not sure how long I've been RPing, but I have been since the good old Hetalia days. I'm looking to get back into roleplaying and am excited to meet all of you!
 
Heyo! I'm a writer with 10+ years of experience in forum- & chat-based roleplay. I mainly do group RPs, as I love to have multiple overlapping plotlines going on at the same time. That, and the creative energy in an active close-knit RP community is just irreplaceable.

I'm not actively looking for new writing partners and/or groups, but we'll see if something catches my eye.

English isn't my native language, so be patient with me.

Aye why hello there everyone! How are you all this fine evening, or should I say early morning. Y'all can call me Ruin and I'm a male 26 year old midwesterner born and raised in a small town. I no longer reside in the town I grew up in however I'm still In the same state working my ever-loving butt off (or was until this whole virus thing shook out). Now with a bit more freetime I have found myself roleplaying more and doing the things I enjoy doing on my off time. Obviously (I mean I am posting here after all) I am one of the newbies. With great appreciation I am ecstatic to have found another roleplay site I can take part in. I look forward to meeting each individual whom I cross paths with on here and I thank you all— I absolutely cant wait to get started.

Kinda tough to do an introduction but here goes. Back in highschool I used to do a lot of this kind of thing in a different website. Loved it but unfortunately I had to focus on exams so I left the site for a while. Then when I decided to go back into it (to help with my writing skills) I discovered that the site removed the RP forum. So far this site looks really good so I look forward to doing this again.

Btw my bad habit is that I don't double check my grammar and sentence structure cause my mind operates faster than my keyboard. I'm trying to work on that, god knows how I passed my essay based exams.

Hello! Call me Julian. They/Them. I've been rping only for a few months, and have just done oneshots or one session campaigns :-/.

I really am interested in the rping aspect of dnd, especially because I've already had stories I've made to use and craft into a campaign. But I'm still new to it, I still need to familiarize with the games mechanics as in what to add to what for rolls. Or how to tell what counts as whatever skill.

I'd appreciate a dm and group that's patient with someone still relearning the game mechanism. And that'd be open to helping me create my characters story and personality, so I can roleplay better. I don't mind criticism so long as there's patience.

Love homebrew games, more worldbuilding and freedom. Despite being new, it's like an excuse to be allowed to go over the rules again along with the made up ones and new lore added into the game world.

Generally would prefer for almost all classes and races be able to fit into the world. And it being an open minded game, so my character can be able to be another gender regardless of physical appearance or to be able to like other gender identities. NOT for erotic rping, but for general story. To be able to have a lover, spouse, or person to save type of character and it be allowed to be someone of any identity.

Look forward to playing with some of you!🙏

I'm into slice of life roleplays, formatting, using real face claims, and being kinda realistic.
I'm 23 and do hair. Out of work for the time being due to Covid-19.
I prefer one x one's to groups, but we'll see where this goes.

I'm Squid, but you can call me Vincent. I have several years of roleplaying experience (Around a decade) and I'm looking to get back on the saddle and start roleplaying again. I enjoy fantasy roleplays, sci-fi on occasion (I'm a huge Star Trek fan), but I'm willing to try just about anything. What I really enjoy is worldbuilding and character creation though, so if you enjoy in depth roleplays, then I'm definitely interested.

hi! my name is sakari (i'm a girl and that's a boy name but... y'know... it's ok) and you can call me that or komo! i just turned 21 years old and i'm a cashier right now, working towards having my own at-home daycare center. i used to roleplay on another website a long time ago but i fell out of the hobby for a while. but now i'm back!! i love all genres (sci-fi, fantasy, romance, slice of life, horror, absolutely anything) and i'm super excited to get back into writing!! i'm not too strict when it comes to stuff.... i think of myself as a semi-lit/lit writer (i always write a loooot) but i think quality over quantity is what counts! i do really love anime and i'm inspired a lot from the shows i watch. feel free to pm me if you want to rp or just chat. friends are cool. ;3:

The roleplaying I am used to may be slightly different from what exists on this website, but I am excited to learn! I have participated in both long-response and short-response rps, most of which I have hosted with a few close friends, never on a public platform. I am joining this website with a friend, and all of the above details are the same/similar for her. I want to be writer, and roleplaying helps me be creative and come up with new ideas. I enjoy fantasy and Sci-fi genres. I’m kinda random sometimes and I like telling jokes, especially of the dad variety. I think that’s pretty much it for me.. uh.. ya. I like tacos. :3

I've done some role-playing before, I started on quote, but then that place essentially died about two or three years after I joined. Aside from that I've played dnd with a few of my friend, but haven't had a chance in a while.
I generally like to role play in fantasy or modern settings, or anything in between.
Outside of role-playing, I'm big into gaming, cross country running, and wrestling.
I decided to join because I missed the time and friends I had back on quotev. I joined in a fit of nostalgia.
My cats are all gremlins, and my dog acts like a puppy.
I guess just an extra bit about me, I'm not a good leader or starter, so I generally follow any code given, like the template for answering these. I am not the best at startin things because most of the time I don't even know what I want. But when I get a feel for things I can get a roll going.
So...that me.
 
Hello everyone! I couldn't tell you why I hadn't joined this site until now, but I'm finally here! Thrilled to meet some of you!

The name is Flame, or Rune (whichever you prefer, honestly). I've been roleplaying for long enough that I've lost track of the number of years. I'd make a wild guess and say around 12-13 years, but I honestly have no clue. Been looking for a decent community not flooded by high school roleplays, and it appears I have found one. Excited to see what will happen!

Hello, hello! I'm YouthfulCyclops, you can call me Bees for the sake of it being easier. I've been in the literate roleplay scene since I was about 13, so 8 years now! I prefer Lit-third person stuff, and 1x1 because I have a hard time keeping up with a group!
