Introduce Yourself!

• Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • I have been roleplaying on and off for about...ten years I think? (I was in junior high when I started and I am now almost 24) I started roleplaying back when Foopets had a roleplaying forum-which was quite a while ago. That being said, I haven't done an actual roleplay for about a year now (I started some but they never took off past the few few posts so I don't really count them) so I am very rusty and my skills are probably not that great despite the long time I have been doing this.
• What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • Off this is a hard one. I tend to gravitate towards the more supernatural/fantasy sort of setting, but tbh I find myself interested in all sorts of things. I tend to steer away from 'character A falls in love with character b' with no other plot outside of that. (IE: 'character A is the neighbor to of character B' is bleg, but 'Character A is the neighbor to Character B but A doesn't know that B is the villain that they have been trying to stop for years' is my current favorite think plot. Generally it will be a slice of life with two characters but the added bonus of the hero/villain gives me a lot more to work with)
• What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Video games, I play a lot of them and am probably joining this site at a time where I might disappear for a week playing animal crossing lol.
• Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • My old RP site is pretty much dead for new roleplays. The current running ones don't accept new members cause they already have too many or they just have so many pages it's nearly impossible to jump in. Any new ones that pop up don't get a lot of traction and don't last longer than a day. So I needed a new site. So google. So here I am.

• Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • I've been roleplaying (both online and tabletop) for over 15 years. I've mostly moved to doing tabletop games, but I'm quite interested in trying my hand at more sustained online roleplay.
• What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • I'm... pretty much here for anything? I guess I'm a bit picky about fandom roleplay. I'll probably favor group roleplay (rather than 1-and-1).
• What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • My primary hobby is tabletop roleplaying, but I enjoy mask making, boardgaming, videogaming, and outdoor adventures.
• Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • It seemed like a good time to look into getting back into online games.
• Something silly, two truths and a lie.
  • My roommates are watching The Sentinel right now, I'm a rogue in a 5e game that has run for over 3 years, and I have spent over 200 hours playing Slay the Spire.

• Write about your pet (if you have one).
• Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3
