I’ve actually only role played once in my life, a while back; but due to my circumstances, I find this a very appropriate way to polish my writing skills.

I’m an aspiring author, big contributor to the r/writingprompts subreddit, and I’m here to practice developing my characters in a unique way. I’ve already had about 5 Jimmy Nuetron-esque brainblasts since I’ve had the pleasure of lurking here!

I can make an OC anytime, mostly romance, crime, mafia topics, I like fandom RPs as well. I have been a member of two sites previously but seems like things are dying out so I wanted to try my luck again. I've been writing (roleplaying and writing on my own) since I was in middle school. I've been dying to get back to RP'ing with someone or even a few people. It's been so long since I've had decent people to share writing with. I love fantasy, crime and of course, a sucker for a little romance. I can't say I'm much into fandoms, maybe I haven't found the right ones but I mostly write with OCs! I've reached out on several different platforms and usually people ghost away or don't put the same effort into the writing. I'm no professional but I'm literate enough for multiple paragraphs. I love to really delve into world building and character creations and I've to find a partner that enjoys the same thing. I'm a stay home mom so I have plenty of time to think and write :)

I suck at writing about myself but that's the basics I think. I hope to make some friends and find some good partners soon :)

Hi! As you can guess, I am new to this site but not so new to role playing. Been role playing with a friend since my teenage years. Sad to see the stories end so abruptly when her life took off. But I am happy to see her move to bigger and better things in life.

I was recommended here by my reliable friend, Google! I can't wait to see how my time here will be.

I typically prefer sci fi or modern types, but for the most part I'm comfortable with almost anything. Especially romance! I never done groups but one on ones is my niche. Finally I like writing in script, if that is the proper term.

To the reader - hello!

I am as you read me and I role-play for almost seven years now. It first began as a practice for my English and also, a way to have a more immersed presence in a fictional universe I adore. Have I improved in that time? As a frame of reference, my first rp post was nigh unintelligible. It was one of those things that are so bad, they are cringe-inducing.

Coming from such humble beginnings, role-playing is still a very deliberate act for me. Even a simple IC reply takes more then what it should for an average person and even then it is often subjected to several grammar-edits and syntax correction. I know this business of mine might appear as tedious to you, but I actually enjoy it, despite the frustration. Imagine a moment when a tradesman sees their completed product that they were working on for long time. At that moment, the frustrations are rendered insignificant, replaced with quiet pride and fierce joy. Sometimes, I feel like that too when I manage to post something worthwhile. Does this happen to you too?

Anyway, I have joined this place to practice my creative writing and hopefully help spread more games from a universe I like. So far I have only role-played on niche fan websites and small Discord servers, so I hope my skills will improve by opening myself to a more diverse reading material and to a larger pool of people.

With that said, I am open to play pretty much everything, setting and theme-wise and with new games opening weekly here, that makes me very much excited. I wonder, in seven years time when I look at this post, what will my take be from all of this? And how the people who have role-played with me would feel about it?

Regardless, thank you for reading this blog and accepting me. I hope some of the information I have given to you here, helps you gauge me as a role-player and as such serve as a passable introduction. 🙂

Hey everyone. So I got into roleplaying a couple years ago. I'm into creative writing and so I kinda just gravitated towards roleplaying and sharing my stories with people. It's a fun way to express myself through my characters and it's just a lot of fun. Happy roleplaying everyone!

    • I think I have been roleplaying for about more than 5 years. I actually roleplay in a lot of other sites like deviantart, gaiaonline and whatnot before finding RPNation. I hope to enjoy my time here! :D
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • I tend to like fantasy settings with dragons and magic, and if I feel like it mysteries genre like detective vs thief or mysteries in a town, things like that. Though, what I love to roleplay most and must have in my roleplays are romance. I tend to do hetero types.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • I like music though I don't have a preference, just as long as it sounds good ranging from US-UK, J-pop, K-pop, V-pop and so on.
    • I also really like games like Pokemon (as you can see from my avatar if you play pokemon Black/White 2), Harvest Moon, League of Legends, otome games and fashion games,...
    • Animes and Mangas are great, but I haven't watched or read those for a while like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Fairy Tail,... I especially loved shippings in those!
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • The site popped up when I searched around for a rp site. After seeing quite a bit of people mentioning rping on the site, I mustered up my courage to register here! :D
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • Well, the stories of my pets are tragic ones, so let's not talk about that. :)

Howdy! Just call me Skittles, calling me "Foxy" is for the truly lazy. I just signed up and went through all the profile editing and rules and such, so an intro post is all I got left.
I've been into roleplaying for...I wanna 10 years now? I started in early-mid 2010 I'm pretty sure, and evolved slowly over the years. These days I spend most of my RP time (Like for the past 8 years) on tumblr with only a few others preceeding that, but I've been meaning to branch out to other place since tunglr is a complete and total nightmare for everyone involved. Find new partners and friends to write with. Meme around. S'just how I am.

When it comes to roleplaying...well, there are things I do best, and things I don't do well with at all. I find myself most drawn to fluff, romance, the happy times. Daily lives of characters, the shenanigans they get up to...That said, I love a good adventure and action. But I'm emotionally weak. Angst? I tend to avoid it just because I don't want to cry lmao. Though if its interesting enough I'll do it anyways. Setting-wise, I'm used to fantasy and fantasy-esque setups. I play a lot in fandom-based roleplays. More often than not related to Touhou Project or Pokemon, among many, many, many other things. On tumblr I play a hefty amount of both canon characters and OCs, so my wings are spreading pretty far by now.

Roleplaying aside, I like to watch a lot of anime and play a lot of games. I'm an affiliate streamer on twitch, but considering I have to wake up hella early to stream when nobody's home and being loud, I haven't done it in a while. I'm a big fan of cooking, but often just feel too lazy to actually do it. Also been reading a nice amount of manga lately. On top of all of this, there isn't a moment in the day when I'm not either listening to music or tapping my foot to a song in my head. Its a way of life.

I also have an affinity for foxes. Not in like some weird furry way, I just think they're the cutest. So at some point they just became...my thing.

Hello you may refer to me as Light, Pure, Faith, or whatever you would like to call me. I have been roleplaying for 8 or so years (I lost count), But I am going to continue here since I started on facebook on a group that was relatively active. I moved a year or 2 after cause it started to get worse (people replying in just one line), Then I moved over to all kinds of platforms and now i'm here. Nice to meet all of you.

Ok gotta focus I know I'm prone to distractions

So how to explain me, I am lively, cheerful, and a klutz and I am easily distracted by everything except instrumentals which I use to focus. What else I work as a database administer cause I was planning on being a game designer, But life has different plans for me so I got to use this bachelors somehow. What else I read a lot and listen to music when I am alone I hardly go outside and normally sit at my desk (I'm just so boring aren't I)

Ok last thing to talk about to make me seem appealing

I roleplay a lot of plethora of ideas to see what kind of story I can unfold or help unfold. I mostly play fantasy settings with magic but non-magic realistic dark ages are some of the most fun I've had in roleplay (Where there is magic but it's too hard to acquire and you practically have to be a cultist). I play many games and have seen many animes so I am no foreigner to character building or world building to keep the story going. One flaw I do have I don't know when to stop so I never stay in one place too long.

So that's me in a nutshell I'm really weird and boring a explosive reaction, But thanks for reading this and hope you have an amazing remainder of your day.

Hi! My name is Rose. I’m a 21 year old boy (he/him) who’s been roleplaying for 8 years! I started out on Instagram (wild right?) and progressed into playing D&D with friends after that time of my life died.

Since I’ve stopped doing written roleplay I’ve always desperately missed the experience but never knew where to go to start again. I’m a writer, having written an 86k words (and ongoing!) fanfiction and with other projects in the works so I’m used to writing paragraphs at a time!

I’m open and excited for all genres of storytelling but I’m the most experienced with realistic and fantasy style roleplays. I’m always game to learn new styles though and would absolutely love to delve into new things head on!

I’m still very new to forums though so any and all guidance would be appreciated on what to do first to get my foot in the door!

I’m excited to tell stories with you all soon!

I RP as canon characters and a few of my OCs. Types of my roleplay I enjoy are romance, angst, and fantasy. I'm not new to character. Apart from RP I love music and books.
