I've been roleplaying on and off for a few years. Here's the short story: Love dungeons and dragons, can't find anyone to play with. Love roleplaying, couldn't find good places to roleplay on.

I'm hoping this site works out and that, at the very least, I can get some fun times out of it. In terms of roleplay, I prefer fantasy and supernatural. I LOVE roleplays that have twists. I'm all for romance ones IF there's a good premise.
I don't like 18+ roleplays. I don't like gory stuff either but I may accidentally write an over-the-top creepy or violence-y scene. If we're rping and I do that and that makes you uncomfortable, please just let me know.

Alright, so you all can call me Cat if you want. I've been roleplaying for about six years now, though I can admit that I have certainly improved in my writing skills and common sense. Currently, I'm rereading some series I had dropped for a while and was considering looking for fellow fans to rp with. Along with these books, I am a big fan of the superhero stories (as I am sure most of us are).

As for hobbies, I spend most of my free time at the animal shelter. I usually work with our long term feline residents as some tend to need a bit of support in finding their homes. Have any questions on cat behavior? Hit me up! Just want to share cat pictures? Great! I only have one cat at home despite my numerous hours at the shelter. She's a funky little muffin and over all wonderful. She often comes and sits on my lap while I paint, though I will admit she gets in the way rather often.

Overall I am excited to be here and looking forward to the future!

Hello, the name's Vixen (though I'm most commonly referred to as V).

I've been in a few roleplay sites, though the most recent site I've kind of vanished from because of the inactivity of the site, and I've been wanting to go somewhere else for a bit for personal reasons. I've been roleplaying since maybe 2012, that's the most recent I remember being in this kind of community? So, 8 years. I'm kind of the type to be into anything, and I'm not afraid to try new kinds of genres too, but I most commonly do horror or romance since they're both what I've grown up roleplaying.

Outside hobbies, I don't have many, but I do play a lot of video games (Nintendo commonly), and I'm into reading (though I haven't been reading lately since I haven't found any books worth checking out yet). Though I most often listen to music on my Spotify or watch Youtube videos until I pass out, or even when I have time, watch anime.

I could go on about my babies but I'll keep it brief and say I have a Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier, and a Biewer Terrier who I adore very much. In the past, I've had many different dogs in my life, so I've grown up with dogs all my life, the most being Yorkshire Terriers, though I've had two Shih Tzus and two Standard Schnauzers before, and when I was a baby, my mom had two Rottweilers. I, at some point, want a Corgi though.

I wouldn't say that I am new to role-playing, but have been at it for around two or so years now, beginning in late 2017. I came here from Discord in the hopes of finding people more on my level. I take great interest in sci-fi and fantasy role-plays since that's the kind of media I've mostly consumed through my life. However, I am open to any genre as long as it can spark my interest with neat ideas. I have lots of time on my hands and can reply often. I also won't get bitter when someone doesn't respond in some time. But I'd appreciate if you told me first if that's the case.

I like role-plays that include strange, new worlds and creatures. And although I like the typical fantasy genre, my last two RPs I have started have been about trying something new. For example: A fantasy world in which I try to make as many new creatures and people as possible, and were society is in a kind of 1890-1910 era technology-wise. I also have a plot taking place on a desert planet, based off of Dune, on which civil war for resources has broke out, and me and my partners play as weapons smugglers. We cross the dunes in gigantic crawlers, (à la Deserts of Kharak,) delivering the goods through perilous lands. Cool settings, that's my kind of stuff. But again, nothing against more conventional ideas. I still love those, too!

As far as my hobbies go, I have played trumpet for about a year and a half now, still attempting to improve. I also spend quite a lot of time online, playing games. My favorites of all time are: Kenshi, Terraria and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Favorite book and movie? That'd be Dune (1965) by Frank Herbert and my favorite movie is Alien (1979).
