Hello everyone! I’m Scon and I have just recently discovered RPNation. I used to do a lot of roleplaying in the past and wanted to revisit it.

Uh, hi! I'm somewhat new to roleplaying but I've been interested in meeting new friends and starting new adventures!

Hello there.

My name is Darcy Foskett, I'm a 21 year-old roleplayer from Canada. I'm not great with introductions, so I'll simply follow the guidelines that have been put forward for me. I've been roleplaying intermittently since I was 14 years old, mostly on anonymous sites such as Omegle or Rolechat. I usually write in a paragraph or semi-paragraph style, depending on my partner. I usually write in 3rd person, but this is more of a coincidence than a preference, and I have no issue writing in 1st person.

My favourite roleplay genre is historical/historical fantasy. I enjoy writing stories based in exciting historical periods, with a focus on character drama and adventure. My favourite time periods are the Roman Principate (27 BCE - 235 CE) and the High Middle Ages (867 CE - 1204 CE), with special focus on the Roman/Byzantine Empire. I'm the admin/primary writer of a Roman roleplay group called First Cohort, set during the reign of Emperor Trajan (98 CE - 117 CE) and allowing players to come from whatever ancient culture they like, whether it be the Romans, Germans, Persians, Indians, Chinese, and many more.

Outside of roleplay, I enjoy listening to and performing music, and have been playing piano since I was 7 years old. I mostly play by ear, being sheet music illiterate, but also find tutorial programs like Synthesia to be very helpful. I'm also an avid reader; I've recently taken to perusing comic books, especially those published by DC Comics (Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman, Alan Moore's Batman: The Killing Joke, etc), and I also enjoy reading ancient histories (Suetonius' Twelve Caesars, Cassius Dio's History of Rome, etc).

My primary reason for joining RpNation is to recruit people for First Cohort, but I've also come to see what other options are available. I enjoy leading as well as following stories, and figured that if there's any place where I could facilitate this, it'd be here.

I look forward to meeting new partners and spreading my wings here.

Hello there!

Normally I go by Finch, as it's short and, well, I think birds are neat. I have been roleplaying since about 2015, so I have about 4 years of experience under my belt (that doesn't sound like much now that I'm reading it back to myself lol). I decided to join RPNation as I've found a handful of roleplay partners from this place and overall just find it's a good platform for related activities. My RP interests stretch over a wide range of genres, although whatever I end up feeding into really just depends on what I'm in the mood for. Though I find it's easier to get into a genre if my partner is willing to put forth as much effort as I am. But to keep things simple, I am usually attracted to the genre and any sub-genres of fantasy, and I also enjoy dystopian/apocalyptic stuff as well.

However, beyond RP, I enjoy many other things, such as theater, any type of visual art, as well as video games and sailing (when the weather permits it). I also love friendly people and a healthy sense of humor. So if you excel in either of these departments, which I find usually go hand-in-hand, there's at least a 100% chance you and I will get along. I can't think of much else noteworthy to introduce myself at the moment, so I guess I'll leave it at that!

Hopefully this is the place where I should post this. Either way...
Hello! I'm Pride and I recently got on this website. I've been rping for... Hmm... At least 6 years now although I'm not too sure tbh and I do enjoy it (obviously).
I tend to prefer action and adventure, but romance and other stuff is ok as well and I do believe that I have a good amount of experience. Anyways that's that for now.
