hey everyone, I'm gem!

I started roleplaying a long time ago, almost ten years ago and I've been writing for even longer (though I can't say I was any good XD). I've been on various sites, including this one, before but had to take a break due to an illness and university. but I'm back and ready to go! I have a soft spot for realistic roleplays on the slice of life side of things but I find myself also enjoying writing horror, fantasy, and adventure plots. any plot that involves amazing characters, a fun principle idea, and a lovely group of people is totally my thing.

I used to roleplay a good bit, and although I can't say I was ever particularly good at character and plot development, I did enjoy it. It has been a few years since I last roleplayed, and I've missed it. I would like to try some different genres, but probably best to keep things pretty simple at least to start. I've never roleplayed much aside from animals, cats primarily... Warrior cats... so, as I intend to roleplay hoomans primarily, everything feels very new.

Ive been recently trying to get back into roleplay, though Im a little introverted so its a little difficult to put myself out there haha. Ive been rping on and off for 8 or 9 years now and I love the practice I get out of it as well as seeing other peoples ideas or being a part of progressing a really cool story!

After a rather long break I'm finally getting back into roleplaying and I hope to meet some new partner or groups here. I can be a little shy at the beginning but I promise I warm up fast in roleplays. I prefer the genres horror, some fantasy, slice of life, drama, criminal and romance. If you have a good plot I can work with, I would love to try a new genre so don't hesitate to dm me if you feel like we can work something out. I mostly write in third person and the length of my replies are variable.

The name I prefer to go by is Anika; I tend to prefer a bit of anonymity when it comes to online interactions. I've been roleplaying for almost two decades but on a site that I'll let be a mystery. I've outgrown that site and have been searching for one that gives me more creative purpose and wiggle room to make the most out of my writing. I tend to isolate and do a lot of solo roleplays but I'd enjoy a partner that will be willing to collaborate or experiment with different genres and ideas.

I used to roleplay a lot of science fiction. Most of the writings I have done surround a lot of supernatural things and cryptids as well. Those are things I'm comfortable with at the moment but I'd like to kind of be pushed to try other situations or genres, too. I'm trying to be pretty open because I think because of my past experiences with roleplaying, I kind of limited myself too much and now it's harder for me to not write about those types of things.

Cool. Sci-Fi isn't my favorite, but it's close enough to it.

A little bit about me, I am a 21 year old female that goes by Anya who has been roleplaying since her early middle school years so approximately 7-8 years now if I did my math correctly. I enjoy all types of different role-plays including romance, action, supernatural, fantasy, etc. My favorite types of role-plays are often fandoms but I enjoy original ideas as well.   • I mostly enjoy fantasy adventures, action, and romance
  • Outside of roleplaying, I like to write stories, read books, play video games, watch anime and other interesting shows, read manga and comics...you know...geek stuff. I also like to cook so there's that.
  • Well, truth be told I've been here before, it was some years ago and I can't for the life of me remember my password or old email to said account that has probably been deleted by now. Truth is I remembered how fun the site used to be and I've role played in other places but...they kind of all mostly boil down to the same thing, it was very boring and sometimes irritating.
  • My pet is a kitty...she's a sweet yet evil mistress who is utterly offended by my shoes and must race me to the bathroom every time I have to go.

Hey there, I'm Wara. I'm new to this site and looking for somewhere where I can find new roleplaying groups and partners who have the same interests as I do.
  • I started roleplaying at about 12 years old. I'm 23 now so roughly 11 years. I started with simple one-liners on Gaiaonline back in the day. These days I have trouble writing under 5 paragraphs.
  • My interests are all around the board when it comes to what I like to roleplay. Adventure, Slice of life, Fantasy, horror, crime, you name it.
  • I have tons of interests, hard to name all of them. I love watching television shows. Trash dramas, anime, some sitcoms. Movies in general, gaming, graphics design, etc.
  • I'm looking for somewhere new to continue my passion for roleplaying. It's hard when I'm not sure where to look. I thought maybe this site would have people who had similar mindsets of mine when it came to roleplaying.
  • I have two dogs, a beagle named Chloe who is 12 years old and unfortunately coming to the end of her life very soon, and a Mini poodle who is a high key drama queen.
  • two truths and a lie, huh? Let's say... I'm afraid of being tickled, I eat my soup with a fork, and even though I've had a "ghostly" encounter I think all that superstitious and spirit stuff is fake.
