Introduce Yourself!

Because I can't read correctly I skipped over introducing myself. To be honest this is an alt account so I can post post searches for Fandom and Hyperfixation content, while I do more originals on on my main account. But none the less I am Beetle Cat (inspired by my love for Beetlejuice and cats), and I am not an RPN veteran but I do know my way around. But apparently that does not protect me from rearranging words in my head.

A fun act about me is I recently binge watched all of Netflix's Yu Yu Hakusho.

Also the line in the introduction post that tripped me up was, 'Please remember this is to introduce yourself. If you want to just jump into looking for roleplay players or partners please create a thread in Recruitment.'

I'm a 21-year-old writer with a ton of experience roleplaying on various platforms. My replies typically run around 600 words (4+ paragraphs), but I adjust the length as needed. I nearly always keep solid grammar and paragraph structure. I'd consider myself a literate to advanced literate writer.



I’m a big fan of 80s-90s bands and horror movies, and those will generally be the main focus of my writing. My favorite bands are Metallica, Nirvana, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
 
hi! i hope i'm writing this in the right place?

call me varye, mid 20s, europe time. i'm slowly getting back into enjoying some old things so through an old hobby it is. i've been roleplaying for about 10 years now and only really within fandoms. i'm looking for about the same thing now :) the more realistic (with a touch of magic), developed and thought out things are, the more interesting it gets in my eyes.

i'm into quite a few fandoms, into some more than others, so my only hope here is to find some like-minded peeps :) thanks! 💐

My interests/hobbies are poetry, drawing, badminton, piano, and linguistics. I have a hamster named Antoine. He was named after the author of The Little Prince :]

Username is a character from CJ Cherryh novels, I’m fine being called that – or Mogz.
I started written RP on forums over 20 years ago, and have also continued some RP via mmos with friends, as well as TTRPGs (currently running a Call of Cthulhu home brew). I love co-writing adventurous stories and I tend to be on the verbose side of writing. A lot of my preferred genres that I'll craft come heavily inspired by scifi/fantasy fiction of fave authors - typically scifi/fantasy/grimdark/adventure settings. I'm also a huge fan of Call of Cthulhu and Bladerunner/Cyberpunk inspired settings, so I can be roped into joining those types of stories easily! One of my favorite things to see within RP settings is character development throughout the story as challenges and events are met and overcome.

Outside of writing/RP, I collect hobbies like side-quests – knitting, music, learning new languages, video games with friends, getting some fresh air and seeing something new outside, 3D modeling/animation for XR/VR/AR and personal animation projects, reading, and playing chase with my cat, Garrus.

I have been missing written RP forums – and with my current ttrpg campaign running, have been inspired to get back into it. Nice to meet you all! Hopefully to be writing with some of you on the forums in the not-so-distant future.

I'm bd, and I've been a roleplayer for about 8 years now. I've been suggested here from Discord as an alternative way of roleplaying because server-hunting drains the soul and I just want to commit to a proper storytelling adventure with someone else about characters and their growth through turbulent times.

I'm flexible in my post lengths (novella when I'm really feeling it and sometimes less is also more, but I do aim for a few paragraphs at a time) and I try to reply once per day as I am a working man and am also carving my way through college.

I have characters that can fit into any scenario such as fantasy (Such as Hector, the displaced village guard trying to rebuild his home) as well as fandom characters like 40k (Including Sgt. Stribolt, the lost steel legionnaire trying to return to imperial lines), Armored Core (piloted by Callsign Devilfish, an independent AC for hire), and Star Wars (Of which we have Hutch, an old pilot mercenary who's something of a wildcard).

I take a lot of pride in these characters and putting effort into the plots they're included in, so I can at least promise I'll give top shelf quality when I find the time to post!!

Never been on a forum to roleplay so please, have mercy! But I have confidence in my rp skills and I'm excited to meet new players (:

Ive been into rp for 4 years on and off due to life and such. I vary with my writing, as it varies and depends on how much time i have, motivation and how tired i am. I'll try to mirror you but I have a hard time when it comes to novella level writing. I'm open to most things, but prefer fantasy/action roleplays :). Romance is fine if its added for flavor though.
ive got a few characters, mostly all women but ive got a few men and nb folk too!

Sup everyone! I've just joined here due to the active community here in this forum is much more to my liking. So then what am i?

Simple, i'm a veteran roleplayer since 2011. Thirteen whole years of roleplay experience all the way towards this year ever since my humble beginnings in Facebook. Learned a lot since my first round of mistakes that i've learned throughout the years. Lots of ups and downs, but the learning is worth it. I'm a fast learner of things on what makes it tick. I follow rules easily to my extent and if i find the rules of said RP to be too strict, i'd just find a partner to play with.

My interests is within roleplay itself is the crossover RP aspect of it. I tend to go multi-fandom no matter what i do, it's always going to happen no matter what since i'm a big freak about doing crossover RPs. It's my strongest aspect during roleplay sessions! I have mild autism, so i tend to randomly undergo novella mode during roleplay so please keep an eye on me during my roleplay sessions. I may go overdrive on the paragraph count!

We used to have a black cat but a guy snatched the cat up and we lost her. RIP our beautiful furbaby. I'll miss you, Luna the autistic cat.

I love creating roleplay sessions, but most of the time they are dead on arrival which sucks eggs but oh well. I've experienced this before. Not my first time making my own then.

So what interests i have outside of roleplay? Ooh boy, this is going to be a long one.
I'm a massive Dragon Ball fan, a Risk of Rain 2 fan (3k hours in!), a die hard Disney fan, a veteran fan of Kingdom Hearts, a huge fan of Treasure Planet (My all-time favorite movie!), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (One of the holy trinity of my all-time best animated films of the century!), and Titan AE (Same with Atlantis: The Lost Empire!).

There are several others i shall mention, my favorite youtubers are TheRussianBadger (SWAWS), Spazmatic Banana (haha funni moth do funni thing), YungJunko (SKYSPACE), Vo Memes ( M E E M S P L A N E T is my favorite one of the lot), DevilArtemis (great animator btw), and several others. Basically, i have a LOT of favorite youtubers.

As you know, i love game mods in video games (not in roleplays though that is just cheating!) so often or not i'll make any kind of modpack to any game i see fit. Makes the game tons more fun to play.

I wish i can explain more but ehh got to finish my introduction so if you're reading this, please for everyone stay safe and i'll have as much fun here to the maximum possible limit before i hit the integer overflow levels of fun.

Hello All, I'm Zarboff (sometimes Jorf if you see me on Discord). I've only been roleplaying for a year or so. I like short story writing in genres like horror, sci-fi, and war/politics. I found this site while trying to look at an old RP thread I saw a long time ago, and it got me interested in joining in some more roleplay.

I currently RP at a pretty low intensity in a geo-politics/slice of life kind of RP (you can find me as Nouveauterra in The West Pacific in NationStates). I don't have any OCs of my own, as I've usually just created characters when the time arises. I'm excited to get into some writing with new peeps.

I'm kinda unfamiliar with how to use this site, but hopefully I'll get the hang of it eventually, lol. In any case, I guess here are some things to answer the questions from above:

I've been roleplaying for about six to seven years, so I have plenty of experience. I really enjoy literate roleplays, but I'm a slow responder and I can take a day or two to get back to you, I tend to make it up with my detailed responses though.

I usually look for ships when it comes to roleplays since I'm big on cute fluff moments between characters. I also love playing canon characters over Oc's, but I'll only do it if I'm somewhat confident I can portray the character properly.

As for outside of roleplaying, I really enjoy drawing and even writing my own personal stories. I also drabble in a bit of singing, but as an introvert I tend to keep to myself.

I mostly joined RPNation because I just wanted to find someone to roleplay some Sun X Moon with me, lol.

As for the pet, I have four cats and a dog, crazy right? They generally get along, but my cats have a hard time warming up to my dog.

I like to roleplay in all sorts of settings but modern day slice of life is my go-to.

One thing I've been looking for, for a long time are family bases roleplays. where child age characters are allowed. These are impossible to find.
