Gwendolynne
Just a RPer~
Hello, RP Nation!
I'm Gwen. I'm going to run through the prompts below and share a bit about myself.
Back in 2001, I found an now mostly defunct platform of forums dedicated to all things role play. Primarily, I frequented creative writing styled "free form" game forums - fantasy, mutant, sci-fi, and dystopian future settings. Some games were based in the familiar worlds of Harry Potter, Pern, Star Wars, Star Trek, and X-Men. Some were original creations. Most hosted a fair amount of players, while others were limited to 3-7 players. It's been a bit since I participated in these (probably about 3 years). I much prefer that free-form, creative writing turn style gaming to something based off dice rolls and "maths." (I mean, I didn't major in math in college for a reason!)
Outside of the computer world of fantasy, I enjoy board night games with family & friends, DnD, movie nights, painting, spending time with my dogs (I have way too many!). For extra annoying fun, I tell myself I love home repair or improvement jobs. I do actually love building things, but I'm a serious novice. I'm working on a tiny house with my kid brother, so we'll see how that goes!
RP Nation seemed like a large, active community, which is something I've missed for the last few years. I would love to get to know some folks, maybe build some new friendships and join some games.
Two Truths & a Lie:
I'm a crazy fan of Harry Potter, Supernatural, and X-Men.
I have a pet snake.
My music tastes span from Seether to Five Finger Death Punch to Kaleo to Barnes Courtney to Miley Cyrus to Stevie Nicks.
