What kind of role play?

hello everyone! This is my first time one this site. I have never really actively been doing roleplay, but i have always had a great interest. And that is way I decided to join RpNation. I'm a big fan of fantasy and find thoes stortlines interesting, but I'm open to try other genres too. and last, just for fun ; my bigets dream is to be a teacher, if I could be turned in to an elf I would do it in a heartbeat and I refuse to ever eat onions.

I'm Casey and new here! I have a little experience over another website but I wanted to expand my horizons. I'm very interested on fantasy-based roleplay and just want to experience some fun!

I'm Siesta, 23 from Germany and have been roleplaying for almost a decade by now. I currently study illustration and work part time as an illustrator and a copywriter in an ad agency-- all things writing and art along with creating crazy concepts, ideas and worlds happen 24/7 in my life. And I can't get enough of it; hence why I'm here now!

I'm most interested in ORIGINAL fantasy adventures or some sci-fi action. Bring on the pirates, sorcerers, portals and spaceships- or whatever our heart desires. Finding a group - no matter if big or small - or even a dedicated writing partner would be ideal.

This isn't my first time on a roleplay website, I love roleplaying so much but life has been busy lol ya know but yeah. I made this account awhile back and forgot about it but here I am! can't wait to delve into mine and other imaginations

hello!! i'm aster and i use he/him! i mostly rp with my close friends but they haven't been able to so i've turned here for salvation lol. ive rped for like at least 10 years at this point and i cant wait to get back into it!! i mostly do like mundane slice of life romance stuff but i'm open to anything!

hi! my name’s emma. i’ve been roleplay for about four to five years at this point, and i mainly just do roleplays that are either literate to advanced literate.

as for what i roleplay, i tend to roleplay stuff like hetalia, akira (the film/manga), anything studio ghibli, south park, neon genesis evangelion, and a little bit of attack on titan.

Heyo! Call me Jen. She/hers. I’ve been role playing/writing for probably ten years now, and since I’m just finishing up school I’ve been wanting to get into something new, but I haven’t done anything forum-based in a while. I’m into more gritty fantasy/sci-fi stuff and less romance but I’m happy to try something new too. I’ve also been wanting to get into D&D (cr is a very good quarantine show) but I’m a total novice on that front. Message me if y’all have anything good going on.

I shall try to keep this brief.
I would prefer to be called by either the first four letters of my Username, "Rage", or the ending Roman Numerals "XIII".
I recently have been playing the Tabletop version of RP i.e.: D&D, Pathfinder, etc.
However, I have Roleplayed using more creative modes, such as Group Post By Post and 1X1 Post By Post.
I prefer RPs that have conflict and I lean towards topics that include violence and war but, I am willing to try Slice of Life IF there are enough Social or World Problems in the RP Thread.

Hi. I started roleplaying back in 2007 when I came across it by chance. Ever since then I've been roleplaying, with breaks in between. After Yahoo chat rooms have closed down, it had been hard finding places to roleplay - the roleplay well has dried up. Thankfully there are communities which are active for roleplaying.

Over the years I have developed multiple plot ideas and love coming up with new plot ideas. It's fun and it's exciting to try out new plots. I enjoy action, adventure, mystery. I enjoy modern fantasy, medieval fantasy, post-apocalypse, and a bit of sci-fi (although I'm not a pro despite enjoying sci-fi movies and games - all depends how deep into sci-fi the plot goes). There is always romance in the plots, and adult themes, but the plots DO NOT revolve around these two as it can get boring and dry very quickly - as it has been proven many times over. The focus is about providing an enjoyable plot for both parties, so there's discussions before the plot begins in order to provide a fun, enjoyable and comfortable plot for the roleplay partners I'm roleplaying with. NO dark themes, unless very, VERY light level. All my characters are male. I have extra characters (both male and female) who fuel the plot along the way to give depth to the plot. I prefer 1x1 type of plots and do not do good in group rps. Also I do not enjoy roleplaying in forums. All my male characters are straight. I also seek out those who are open-minded and flexible with plots as there may be some plots which may be of interst to some while not for others.
The medieval plots I have take place in a fictional world/other realm and do not focus on actual, medieval period of the past. Modern plots do take place either in the current reality or can be alternate reality.
I play with original characters and do not have plots which revolve around certain video games, movies or shows, although I do not mind using locations and other inspiration from such sources.
For some plots I tend to use Google Earth/Google Maps for references and providing real locations and location information for the plots which are based in modern/fantasy and the futuristic plots.

Outside roleplaying, I pretty much write a lot. Have some of my own stories I write, as hobby. I also enjoy exploring and playing video games. I do read up on certain history which helps fueling the medieval plots even deeper. An inspiration to the fantasy medieval plots is Dungeons & Dragons, although I'm not that type of roleplayer. Video games are a big inspiration for various plots. YouTube has some great urban exploring videos which even offer great tours of abandoned homes which always come in useful for characters in plots. Other abandoned locations also provide as a good source of places characters may come across and visit.

After searchign for RP communities online, I came across this one. It seems promising and I'm hoping to find other roleplayers who may share similar likes and who might enjoy some of my plots I have to offer.
