Soviet Panda if you could finish your character's abilities or personality that would be good. Otherwise he seems fine to me

That's between you and each character. Maybe they have seen them around, maybe they met each other once through the library or around the city, share the same gym or spar together, etc. Their name is known on the scoreboard, but not their faces for people that prefer to be anonymous. Sorry for the late start, I was fixing lore and also been busy. I will have it up before midnight, I hope PST.

I was, admittedly, just planning on having Adam and Cass know others in passing or do the whole "oh I've heard of you" thing, since it wasn't really specified lol. I'm open to others knowing about them as well.

Is there any place where Chess members could meet up or something? Like does it have an HQ?

Yes, I have lore for that. It's called the Spiral. I'll place it in lore once I finish editing. I have it all written down just gotta post it. It harbors accommodations like lodgings, and food. Of course it's optional to live in the spiral. Not many do and live in apartments around the city.

Does Spiral include a workshop or something for the creation/development of magical items? Am I saying that right?

Also, if anyone wants their characters to know mine more personally before the start of the RP, I don't mind working something out! Otherwise, I'm sure they'll all get plenty of chances to meet as we go.

Yes anything involving magic is done in the Black Spiral. Enchantments, research, meetings, etc.

Sure! He can know both of them, if you want. He'd probably be better acquainted with Cass, since she's more sociable, but I could imagine both getting along with him.

So I have a question: what elements are allowed? And what exactly does Ether entail? Is Ether heavenly / divine stuff or could spatial abilities fit within that too? Because looking up Ether in an online dictionary gives me this: "The upper regions of space; the clear sky; the heavens." So theoretically, space applies... But I am not sure if you would allow spatial abilities.

Any element is allowed and it will be their only main they can upgrade.

Ether is more for an element that doesn't fit under the 4 categories like Earth, fire, wind and water.

Lol alright but if you still want an answer I would say space if fine but I would depend. I would have to look over it and see if it's OP or not. But no I am not going based on the definition of Ether but instead my own which just means just as I said earlier.
