When I am with you…
I didn’t mean to fall down this rabbit hole
The one most women fall down when they find someone interesting to talk to
I didn’t mean to notice all the finer details you do, that make me slip farther and farther down
I almost practically drown in happiness when you’re around.
And no matter how hard I try to contain that feeling, I can’t
I fell down this hole, because when you’re around all my worries go away.
There is no pressure of right or wrong, I don’t have to hide who I am.
I can simply be me, and sit in internal bliss that I don’t have to fake how I feel.
Which to me, is a rare occurrence, but with you it's a recurrence…
I didn’t mean to fall down this rabbit hole, but in all honesty it feels like home…
And If you’re here with me, I feel safe in the place I fell.
