    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Just barely missing the 6ft mark, Ashley stands at 5'11". After joining the Phoenixes, he dyed his hair to have red streaks, being a way to represent his gang and honor an old friend. The crimson limbal rings around his teal irises glow brighter when his Potential activates, giving him an intense look. Each of his ears have four piercings, giving him eight in total. He can usually be seen wearing the bomber jackets that come from his large collection.
    PERSONALITY

Ashley is rough around the edges, to say the least. He's an uncouth young man who doesn't care very much for being reserved or tactful, often speaking without thinking. For better or worse, he wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't care about the result. Naturally, this tends to create conflict with other people, which he will never shy away from.

He loves fighting and always looks forward to throwing punches with tough people, getting excited when he comes across someone that can give him a run for this money. He's not shy and will approach someone just to get into a fight. Brawls are supposed to be a fun way to pass the time and relieve stress, so he doesn't feel bitter about losing, provided that he's not doing a job. Of course, he doesn't only fight when he's looking for entertainment.

Ashley is quick to respond with violence if someone insists on ticking him off, never hesitating to knock them out. However, when angry, he doesn't go red in the face and start screaming. He's the type of person who smiles when enraged, which tends to unnerve the people who find themselves on the receiving end of his energetic wrath.

He's selfish and impulsive, but he's surprisingly loyal to those he considers friends. Instead of being loyal to groups, he's loyal to people. It doesn't matter what gang someone is from or what kind of background they have. If he likes someone, they're his bud and he'll go far for them. He'll put himself on the line and take damage for people, believing that if someone has to get hurt, it might as well be the guy who gets something out of it. However, he acknowledges that there are times when he'll need to choose between the gang and other people.

He isn't always acting wild and ruthless. While sitting around and doing nothing isn't his favorite thing in the world, he can relax just like anyone else. He can be pretty intimidating, but he's usually a pretty friendly guy. He's an energetic young man who's looking to have a good time, and he has a pretty open mind. He also has a soft spot for people with terrible backgrounds, but it's not enough to make him go easy on scumbags.

When tame, a few of his more innocent qualities show. He isn't exactly stupid, but Ashley can be pretty dense at times, failing to pick up on things that should be obvious to everyone. In some ways, he's rather pure-hearted.

Ashley loves freedom and being able to live however he wants. His personality could be considered suitable for a gang like the Sable Serpents, which he won't deny. However, even someone like him has lines he won't cross, and he could never join a gang that peddles drugs. He doesn't want to be part of a group responsible for making people's lives worse and giving those with Potential a bad rep. All gangs have their bad sides, but the snakes have the worst.

Setting aside his issues with the Serpents, Ashley's motivation to join the Phoenixes partly comes from his desire to be accepted by others. Even though he refuses to admit it, he hates how things have turned out with his parents and wants to feel what it's like to have a family again. After losing his friends, he wants to find those coveted bonds in the gang.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

History: Ashley had it pretty easy as a kid. He lived in a good neighborhood with plenty of friends and cheerful neighbors, never having to worry about a thing. He owed all of that to his father, a police officer that he and everyone else respected. In his eyes, his father was the best thing in the world. He kept people safe, doing his best to put away the bad guys and protect the city. Thanks to his efforts, Ashley was able to live each day to the fullest, not having a care in the world. However, the perfect life his father made for him shattered because of the dumbest thing.

While playing with his friends, Ashley got a little too adventurous and ended up falling from a tree. He got a broken bone for his efforts, but it was far from a serious injury. It was something a lot of kids had experience with, but for the young boy who'd never even gotten so much as a paper cut, that injury was a big deal. It was the first time he'd ever felt pain like that. It hurt like hell and he wanted to cry, hoping his mom and dad would make it all better. However, that urge to bawl his eyes out quickly started to fade away as the pain was accompanied by another sensation. Tears were still in the corner of his eyes and his arm still burned, but something else rushed through his body. He was experiencing the worst thing that had ever happened in his easy life, but he'd never felt better. That's when he got his first taste of his Potential and when his life started to fall apart.

He hated pain. He would've been happy if he never had to experience it again. However, he couldn't forget the other feeling that came along with it. It was as if his body wanted to constantly be in that energized state, craving the strength that was granted by his Potential. He was young and didn't know how to handle all the new things at once, so he was easily overwhelmed by the urge to seek out that rush again.

His parents were of no help. When he first came to them with questions about what was happening to him, a small crack formed in their relationship. The kind expression on his father's face turned grim, and Ashley was told to ignore what was happening and act as if everything was normal. All he had to do was live like an ordinary person. He was scared at that moment, but as soon as he nodded his head, the frightening look on his father's face was gone and he felt relieved.

He tried his best to do what his father said, but resisting his body's demands was impossible. He had to give it what it wanted, but he didn't want to risk upsetting his father and end up on the receiving end of his scary expression again. That's why he decided to act in secret, trying not to disappoint anyone. He started inflicting minor injuries on himself when his parents weren't looking, small enough to hide while still painful enough to satisfy his cravings. Unfortunately, he, like a lot of kids, was terrible at hiding things and was eventually caught by his mom.

After his father heard about what he'd been up to, Ashley felt those cold eyes staring into his soul once again. This time, they were accompanied by harsh words spoken with a chilling tone. His father repeated his words from last time, telling him to ignore what was happening. He then let out a groan, not even trying to hide his irritation as he wondered why he couldn't have had a normal child. Hearing that, Ashley felt his heart break. All the love his father had for him seemed to evaporate.

After that incident, Ashley began to see what kind of person his father really was. Everything the man did was for the sake of maintaining an image. Once something came along and threatened to ruin what he built up, he tried to get rid of it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Ashley's Potential wasn't something that could be dealt with by just pretending it didn't exist, so he stopped trying to keep up appearances around him. As long as everyone else still saw him as he wanted them to, he was fine with dropping the perfect, loving father act.

As soon as Ashley entered his teenage years, he began acting out as a way to vent his frustrations and get back at his father. He became crude and aggressive, which often got him into trouble with authority and other delinquents. Most of his time was spent getting into fights, and he'd built up a reputation for being tough to beat. The fighting helped him get used to his Potential and he no longer felt addicted to the power it gave him. He found a way to deal with everything on his own, never getting any help from a father who couldn't understand what he was going through. His mother was no better, always agreeing with whatever his father said and leaving him to suffer.

Ashley's relationship with his parents had gotten much worse. They were always arguing, which usually ended with him rushing out of the house. Roaming the streets with a bad attitude attracted all kinds of annoying people that tried to pick fights with him, but he had no problems with that. He enjoyed fighting, and it was a good way to let off steam. Of course, that just created more friction between him and his parents. Eventually, his father's patience reached its limit.

After serving as an officer for many years, his father was making a serious attempt at becoming the commissioner of the police department. The image he'd been trying to maintain his entire life was meant to help him achieve that goal, but Ashley threatened everything. His behavior was problematic, but his Potential was the biggest issue. Because gangs were full of members with strange and dangerous abilities, many people didn't think well of those who possessed power, even if they lived ordinary lives. Everything about Ashley gave his father trouble. If a man couldn't control his own son, how could he control the police?

Like always, his father only cared about his image, and it infuriated him. He hated everything about the man's attitude, and he told him as much during a particularly heated argument. He knew that his father would probably be a lot happier if he wasn't around, as it would make things go a lot smoother if he didn't have someone around to track mud all over his reputation. His father didn't even try to deny that, so he decided to give him what he wanted. Neither of his parents tried to stop him as he stormed out of the house, promising that he'd never come back.

Full of anger, Ashley wandered the streets while looking for a way to relieve his stress. He quickly found what he was looking for after bumping into a stranger who looked just as irritated. It didn't take long for them to start throwing punches, doing their best to knock each other out. Most of Ashley's fights ended pretty quickly, but his new sparring partner turned out to be a lot tougher than he looked. As it turned out, the guy had powers just like him.

The fight was brutal and lasted for what felt like hours, but it ended abruptly when both of them crashed into a bunch of garbage cans, covering them in filth. At that moment, their anger faded away and they laughed at how dumb they looked. They couldn't even remember what they'd been fighting about just a second ago. That's how he became friends with Aaron.

He and Aaron were a lot alike. Both of them had powers and problems that most people couldn't understand. Nobody knew what they were going through. Because of that, they decided to form a group of people like them. They were just a bunch of kids with nothing to their names, but they made a place for themselves in the world and took down anyone who threatened it. Some people in their group even joked about how they'd become the next big gang and take over the city. They just laughed about it, never really aiming for that sort of goal. Nobody wanted to get involved with the dumb stuff that gave other people with Potential a bad reputation. Everyone was content as long as they had each other and the freedom to live however they wanted.

While they tried to avoid getting mixed up with the more troublesome gangs, it was easier said than done. They often ended up getting into fights with people who tried to push them around and take what little they had. Conflicts like that were easily settled, but the real problem came from the police who couldn't distinguish one gang from the other. They gave Ashley and his friends a lot of trouble, trying to make arrests after a case of mistaken identity. It should've been easy to resolve the situation, but things became much worse when a minor gang strolled in, intent on getting revenge for an earlier defeat. As tensions rose, a scared officer accidentally fired their weapon, severely injuring an NP member of Ashley's group. That's when it all went downhill.

It didn't matter if the gunshot was an accident. People retaliated against the cops, which sparked a large conflict between the three sides. As sirens blared in the distance and friends fell to the ground, Ashley couldn't do a thing. Aaron pulled him away, refusing to let him get caught. No matter how much he argued, his friend wouldn't listen, forcing him to leave as he promised to catch up later. Believing in that lie was his greatest mistake.

Getting as far away from the conflict as he could, Ashley kept fighting the urge to turn back and break his promise to Aaron. Before he could give in, a squad car pulled up in front of him, preventing him from going any further. He was prepared to resist, but that wouldn't be necessary. The passenger door opened to reveal his father, and the man he hadn't seen in so long told him to get in. While he had no interest in going anywhere with him, he was backed into a corner and didn't have the luxury of turning down a ride.

There was an awkward silence between them as they rode in the car. Ashley just kept wondering why he had to run into his father at that moment. He wasn't sure if the man was responding to the incident with his friends or some other call, but he kept thinking about the possibility of being taken to the police station. As if his thoughts were being read, his father assured him that he wasn't in any trouble. The man said that he wanted him to come back home, and for a moment, Ashley felt glad. As much as he hated his father, he couldn't help but respond to the thought of being able to live normally with his family again. However, he should've known better than to think his father was capable of changing.

His father did want him home, but he was still only interested in helping himself. He started mentioning a bunch of crazy ideas he had on how to make use of Ashley's status as an HP, asking him to go undercover in one of the four major gangs and collect intel. If that didn't work, he proposed that Ashley be used as some kind of poster boy for a program that would aim to rehabilitate troubled youth with Potential. All of it was for the sake of bettering his image and becoming commissioner.

Ashley couldn't hold in his anger after hearing what his father said. As soon as they parked, he punched his father in the face, knocking him out. He could've done a lot worse, but he didn't want to waste any more energy. After taking his father's baton for himself, he left him passed out in the car and walked off. That was the last time he saw his father.

When he returned to his old stomping grounds, nobody was there waiting for him. Everyone from his group was gone now, either dead or locked up in a cell. The same went for Aaron. He didn't know what became of his friend and nobody else seemed to have the answer. He was alone again, back to roaming the city and getting into fights with strangers. He beat down anyone who ticked him off, including other people with Potential. The only fight worth talking about was one with some older man with a nasty attitude. After putting him in his place, the guy started begging for mercy, saying that he needed to complete a trial. Ashley didn't know what the guy was talking about and he didn't care about his problems, so he just left him passed out in an alley. It wasn't a very memorable fight, but he did take interest in the trial. That interest would eventually lead him to the Scarlet Phoenixes, where he'd complete a trial of his own.

Recently dispossessed of her trademark pep and glow, the pop star Iroi has been looking a bit worse for wear. Keen observers would notice a drop in her weight, and her meticulously maintained appearance has become a bit less perfectly prim. Shadows have become familiar with her eyes, and her hair's silvery sheen has become a bit less glamorous.
    PERSONALITY
Our☆Dream's premier talent, Passeri Park, better known as Iroi, is the bright star shining in the night sky! Her musical career, which has spanned more than a decade, has taken her from humble origins, right into the spotlight!

She's been described by fans and staff alike as a shockingly pleasant, and down to earth young woman, always sporting a smile on her face and pep in her step. The legendary Tenny Gallon rated her as one of the best guests he's had in years, and after her recent appearance on Ronan, ole O'Lyon was quick to agree!

She's had plenty of detractors over the years, of course, after all, what star doesn't have their fair share of haters, but she's always managed to turn the other cheek and keep moving forward! Our☆Iroi is a woman of many, many talents, but her greatest by far is her ability to keep her face forward, and her eyes fixed on the horizon! She'll hurtle over roadblocks, and leave everybody who tries to stop her in the dust!

Her altruistic, forgiving heart has won the hearts of many, but it's her ambitious personality filled with the blazing flowers of passion that has gotten her as far as she has! She's always at the forefront of her songwriting, touring, and choreographic process. No part of her work goes untouched by her very own hand! She even spares time for the cast and crew involved with her shows, always making sure they are well paid and catered to. Rumors say that she's even given the odd, lucky crewmember free concert tickets!

She's not totally perfect though, despite how it may look! Passeri can be awfully impish on occasion, and her purity that defies her age has gotten her into no end of trouble over the years. Healing the hearts of her fans isn't easy work either, and she's been known to totally binge on ice cream and cookies when she's feeling down. Don't worry though, because she's a tougher cookie than those rock hard ones that your granny made once!

So, everybody out there, please give our favourite star a chance! Just as sure as the sun will rise in the morning, we here at Our☆Dream Entertainment are sure that she'll warm your heart, no matter how weary it might be! She's our Passeri, your Iroi, and the brightest star in the cosmos!

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Brandy Baker was born in a run-down motel, in a bathtub. She spent her early childhood as the only and generally unwanted daughter of a pair of drug addicts, who'd only kept her in the first place so they could funnel the meager subsidy they'd receive to raise their child to further their 'habit'.

It was a surprise, then, when they discovered that their daughter had been born with a Potential. Suddenly, the girl who they'd been planning to only barely raise presented them with a golden goose. Passeri's parents were still hardly warm to her, but they afforded her more attention, and more care than they would've had she been born a normal girl. Her meals, which originally might've been thin soups, changed into sandwiches and tv dinners, though they still weren't willing to fork out the cash for her to attend a school.

Once she was old enough to walk and talk, she was old enough to put to work. Her parents pawned her off to do whatever work she could, for whoever would take her. Of course, the prospect of employing a five-year-old girl wasn't an attractive one for any upstanding business, but the Baker Family lived in New Oasis, and in the North on top of that. Brandy's youthful demeanour, combined with her heightened physical abilities, make her a natural fit as a drug runner, and any other task that the local lowlife needed somebody inconspicuous to perform.

Through it all, Brandy watched and learned. Despite her circumstances, she was a smart kid, smart enough to tell the difference between herself and the other children her age. Their parents walked them to school, while hers sent her running to deliver 'packages' from one uncle to another. The way she saw things though, she wasn't completely plumb out of luck. Where normal children got to learn about math and funny stories, she was treated to a very thorough education as to how the world worked. As much as she wished it was, the world wasn't fluffy and full of fairy tales. People needed to watch out for themselves, and only the people on top of it all had the privilege to be kind.

Her childhood was draped in that awful, early-onset cynicism for a long time. It wasn't until her grandmother caught wind of the fact that not only did she have a grandchild, but that she was being used as a piggy bank too, that things changed. She descended on her son and daughter-in-law like a hurricane, and within only a few months, she'd seized custody of her Grand-daughter with very little resistance. One night, Brandy had gone to sleep on a mattress that smelled of sweat and mould, and the next, she did with a stomach so full that she thought something was wrong with her.

Her life still wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Her grandmother was hardly rich in her own right, and she was a particularly strict old crone, but for the first time in her life, Brandy learned how to felt to be loved. Literally. Even though she'd been put to work as an HP for as long as she could remember, she'd never managed to get a fix on what her Potential actually was. It was only when she was exposed to her grandmother's harsh, but genuine and unconditional love that she discovered it.

For Brandy, those rare, tender moments when her grandmother expressed her love for her, came with a rush of energy. Literal, pure energy harvested from her grandmother's love, which she could use as she saw fit. The only problem was that she wasn't entirely sure just how that should be.

She'd never done much dreaming. Her only ambitions had been eating a meal for the day, and going to sleep somewhere that she wouldn't have to listen to her parents shooting up. So now that she was afforded with not only freedom, but opportunity, she was stumped.

Her grandmother was quick to send her off to school, as well as to engage her in at home lessons to make up for all the time she'd missed, and Brandy took to it jarringly well. She quickly caught up with the other kids her age, and was soon excelling beyond that. All in all, things were on the up and up. She was bright, young, had managed to leave her past behind her, and was an HP on top of all of that. Should she apply herself properly, those around her figured, she'd be able to make something of herself no questions asked.

And yet, she still felt empty. Her accomplishments brought her momentary rushes of joy, and her pursuits fleeting glimpses of passion, but they were both as transient as the blowing wind. Regardless of how much she could succeed in life, nothing excited her.

Until she decided to do something rash.

If normal accomplishments did nothing for her, then she would have to seek out abnormal ones. First, she decided to delve into the arts, which she promptly discovered she had no talent for. Then, she dove into sports, which brought her no longer a rush than anything else in her life had. It was only when she took a step into the world of music that she found what she'd been looking for. She was hopeless at first, her natural talent for academics having apparently not translated into music, but even then, when she performed there were always a few. A few people who smiled, or maybe laughed at her performance, a few people who, above all, were enjoying themselves.

That was it. Not only did it make her feel alive, but it made her want more. There was a desire awoken in her that she hadn't felt since her childhood. She might have lacked natural talent, and she might have been behind the curve, but she wasn't going to let reasons as paltry as those get in her way.

Overnight, Brandy became obsessed in every meaning of the word. She riffled through every bit of information she could online, segmenting off what was most useful for her to learn and applying it in a cycle of personal study. She spent countless long, sleepless nights juggling her musical pursuits and her schooling, which her grandmother demanded she keep up to snuff. On top of it all, she made sure to keep a thriving social life, mingling and entrenching herself with anyone who she thought might be able to help her on her way to stardom.

There was only so far that hard work could get her through, and she was well aware of that. Talented or talentless, anyone who wanted to anyone needed two things: Luck and Money, and she didn't have much of either.

So she went knocking on the Tiger's door. She was young, she was rash, and she was ambitious, all things that made her an easy mark for the gang's loan sharking operations. Worst of all, she knew just how risky an idea it was, and yet she did it anyway. Brandy walked out of a Tiger office at only seventeen with a bag of cash, and a flame lit under her ass. The first thing she did was change her name. If she was going to become a star, then the last thing she needed was someone connecting her to her parents.

So, Brandy Baker died, and Passeri Park was born.

With the cash she took from the Tigers, Passeri bought up as many singing and dancing lessons as she could, and with whatever was left, she marketed herself. She strived for a year after she finished school, auditioning by day and training by night until she eventually made the cut.

Passeri was enrolled into a freshly minted girl group alongside two other young women, both of whom were just as exhilarated to have made it as Passeri was. They didn't get to write their own songs, nor did they get to choreograph their routines, but they had still made it. Or at least, the other two had. Even they'd made it, they still hadn't made it. The job paid reasonably enough, but with as much of her pay being filtered off to the Tigers as it was, Passeri still barely had enough to get by. She needed to do more, and luckily she very much could.

Of the three of them, Passeri was the only one who was an HP and just like in her childhood, she put that to use. She could train and dance for longer than the two of them combined, and the gulf between them only grew over the years. Passeri snatched up the lead role in their group in the first year, and by the third, had just about reduced the pair to a couple of background dancers. She was still struggling to make ends meet, especially since her heightened success only seemed to make the Tigers want to squeeze harder, but she was living her dream.

Her partners, on the other hand, were being cheated. At least, that was the sentiment that had been brewing between them. Tensions started to brew within the group over the course of a year until they eventually boiled over. The other two women accused her of having intentionally snubbed the both of them. Passeri wasn't sure whether they wanted compensation, or just to make her look bad, but they were dedicated either way. The stopped showing up to practice, smeared her on social media, and ultimately, led to the dissolution of the group.

Passeri went dark for a while. She vanished from social media and the public eye, and her fans stirred themselves up into a frenzy. It was only a few months later that Passeri not only announced her comeback, but the beginning of a solo career too. Despite the messy collapse of her group, or perhaps because of it, her return brought with it an explosion of coverage, both from the paparazzi and online swarms, and her debut single sold like hotcakes.

She rode the wave of her return into success after success, and it wasn't long before she'd left the memory of her previous gig in the dust. In tandem with her rise in popularity, she rose in profitability too, and before long she was able to finally pay off her debt to the Tigers.

Then, to the surprise of just about everybody involved, she decided to stay on.

Passeri's rise within the music industry coincided with Marcus's ascension to the throne of King, which in turn coincided with a rise in Passeri's involvement with the criminal organization. Where she'd previously only been one of the Tigers' many piggy banks, she now begun to actively contribute to the organization. She started to use her connections within the industry, both budding and old, to expanded the Tigers' interests, even establishing connections outside of New Oasis.

Recently, Passeri has returned to the city of her birth after a long set of years spent touring overseas. Officially, it's to prepare for a series of concerts to honour the city she grew up in, followed by a period of rest and recovery.

Under the table, on the other hand...
The thing about being at the top of the world is that the only place left to go is down.

Passeri returned to New Oasis with big dreams, and even bigger ambitions. The months following her homecoming have seen each of them wither away. Compounding waves of grim tragedy have visited the city that she loves, and harsh reality her.

First was her return concert. What was supposed to be a grand and plucky affair was instead dredged in violence, just barely kept in the shadows. While the event was not spoiled, it was a warning. One that she did not heed. The love she held for the city was not reciprocated, and there were ghosts that dwelled within New Oasis's concrete guts that remembered her name.

Second came the city's ruin. On May 31st, an earthquake ripped through the city's Central District, reducing the city's once glimmering jewel into a miserable husk. And where had she been during it all? Far beneath the earth, distracted with tending to a mess that wasn't even hers, and painting yet another target on her back. With the city's great, crumbling wound, too, came the first crack in her armor. The first and second balls passed into her hands. Piggybacking off of the vanishment of the Tigers' previous Jack, Passeri ascended to the position, only to find a shackle clapped around her wrist.

The month that followed was a terrible one. An orchestra of ill revelations captioned by a brush with death. Betrayal thrived within the thicket, as the Queen of the Tigers revealed his ambition to climb the last rung on the ladder that still sat above him. A line was drawn in the sand, one which she had no choice in which side she fell on. Her own plans were set in motion, and somebody noticed. July bought with it a visit from the reaper, a date with death which by all means should have taken her all the way to the grave. It was only by the whim of a demon wearing the skin of a boy that she survived, and only even graver news that waited for her back in the realm of the living.

Another face vanished from New Oasis's streets, and her family was cut in two.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Markus Weiss ☆ The Tiger King, a ball and chain and her personal headache. Passeri has no love for Markus Weiss, but when presented with only bad choices he is the one she's settled on. Even if he doesn't believe it she has his back, though she isn't particularly thrilled about it.

Caio Coelho ☆ Her childhood friend. Ignorance was bliss until it wasn't. Missing. She'll tear down every decrepit little husk of building in the North to track him down.

Elise Cutter ☆ A good friend, and one of the few people she genuinely trusts. Putting the poor first impression aside, Elise has had her back and been by her side since her return to the city. Indispensable, even if the woman herself doesn't seem to think so. Wants to see her smile more.

Kiwi Bonheur ☆ A good friend, and one of the few people she genuinely trusts. Passeri and Kiwi found themselves fast friends after a few business exchanges, and she now seeks to help the younger woman set right the wrongs done to her by her uncle. Wants the best for her, even if that best will one day cast her beyond arm's reach.

Eric Evenson ☆ A police officer with whom her path has crossed. She sees something in the apathetic man that she has decided is worth trying to pry out from behind his stony demeanour. Her faith in the city's Powers That Be is terrible at best, and she hopes that he'll be the seed that allows her start the growth of something better.

Ezra Knight ☆ She pities him. How couldn't she? She's familiar with his family, and comparing them is a stark contrast even to an outsider like her. She thinks he has potential, but that he lacks the initiative to make anything of himself by his own will.

Zentsupa Pei ☆ Local lunatic. It was a brief series of encounters that she had with the young man, but she's been colored intrigued. The sort of piece that could topple the whole table if played in the right place.

Hiachi Ito ☆ Her other self-appointed charge. Unlike the Tiger King, though, she finds Hiachi quite decent. She's competent when put in the right place and at least a little trustworthy, considering she's not yet ratted her out to her older brother. Keeping an eye on her to make sure that said older brother does not soon need to attend a family funeral.

Minato & Osamu ☆ Frat boys. They got the job done of their own volition during her return concert, so she has more faith in their abilities than she otherwise would.

Dante Hel-Puch ☆ Someone else that is making moves in the shadows of New Oasis. She gathers he's been planning what he's planning for a long time, but she's not so eager to see the city the raised her used as a toy by a foreign party. Maybe not a bad person, and maybe an ally, but definitely somebody to watch out for.

Wren Krydos ☆ Initially Passeri only approached Wren to try and make sure Markus wouldn't be able to use her as a tool to crack her preparations wide open, but she took a surprising liking to the woman. As both of them are escapees of the North's toxic grip, she sympathizes with Wren's situation more than she normally might. A friend.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Chikage is a tall, broad-shouldered man with an even bulk to cut ratio, athletic build. His hair is black and starts to wave at the tips, styled into a side-part with minimal gel, of which a section often drapes his face. He has trim but full eyebrows, usually pinched together in irritation, and a sharp set of deep-red eyes.

NOTE: The entire front, right portion of his body is tattered with burn scars, stretching from his shin to halfway up his neck and covering the entirety of his right arm. He wears a glove on his right hand to cover the markings. (An example, except they don't reach his face: XX)

NOTE: Chikage takes care to wear long-sleeved shirts to cover his scars. Most often, his shirts are button-up.
    PERSONALITY
    Screenshot (118).jpg
“Fucking pain… Stupid little shit… Fucking worthless waste of space… I’ll have your fucking head-” Thought to himself while reading Bash Hirabayashi’s criminal file.

“You’re as bright as your eyes, dear.” Said to an NPC Detective after she gave a rundown of her investigation.

“THE PURPOSE OF THE STRONG IS TO PROTECT AND GUIDE THE WEAK AGAINST THE ONES WHO ABUSE, BREAK, AND DISREGARD! THESE PEOPLE HAVE FAMILIES!... LOVED ONES!... FOR EVERY LIFE YOU TAKE, A SEED OF CHAOS IS SOWN!” Said to Yuudai Fuse during their encounter in Arc 2 in Lower Central just moments before Yuudai was defeated and taken into custody.

“I won’t let the people of this city be swept into your wickedness. You are not fit for power… If you’re the only one with a hammer and all you do is swing it to break, then you are truly lost, because a hammer’s purpose is to build…” Said to Yuudai Fuse during their encounter in Arc 2 in Lower Central just moments before Yuudai was defeated and taken into custody.

“If not me, then someone else will. One person at a time… … If we can scratch the surface… In even the slightest… Then may the ones who follow in our stead take what we have started and finish it… This city did not die in a day, and as such it will not thrive again in one.” Said to Odessa during their encounter in Arc 2 when asked if he thought he could make a change.

    RANDOM POEM THAT CHIKAGE ENJOYS:
    I am only one,
    But still I am one.
    I cannot do everything,
    But still I can do something;
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.

“I intend to do what I can, and that means never passing up the opportunity to save a life… …Or take the right one.” Said just before Chikage initiated an attack on Yuudai during their Arc 2 encounter before Yuudai was defeated and taken into custody.

“Courage and strength are wasted on the likes of you.” Said to Yuudai Fuse during their Arc 2 encounter.
Not most prominently, Chikage is something of a misandrist—a rather negative quality of his character that was instilled in him from childhood by his phyloginistic Grandfather. However, Chikage is unaware of this aspect of his character.

In the presence of a woman, he is well-mannered, eloquent, calm, and gentlemanly—but the same cannot be said for the opposite sex, toward which he tends to display a more hateful, aggressive, and callous attitude no matter their status, reputation, or affiliation. This is mostly true toward men with whom Chikage does not have a familiar relationship.

You might find him holding a door open for a woman only to turn around and let it slam in a man’s face, either because he's in a bad mood, or simply because the thought to hold it open never crossed his mind.

On that note, Chikage is also somewhat ignorant to the varying gender roles, such as non-binary and pair among others, and so his behavior comes with observation. Does the person appear female? Does the person appear male? If he cannot decide, he will opt for personalized neutral conduct.

Of course, as with any developed relationship, Chikage might treat close acquaintances (he’ll deny friendships) differently depending on circumstance.

Intelligent and studious, he graduated high school two grades early, skipping tenth and eleventh straight to twelfth.

With a mind to stay in shape in order to effectively carry out his duties, he eats healthy and maintains a steady workout regime.

Despite his misandry, in order to secure a goal, or under work conditions, Chikage is very capable of cooperating nicely and keeping a level head with his male colleagues, but that doesn’t mean he enjoys it. Common sense and self-benefit come first.

In the face of danger, he doesn’t flinch. Against complications, he is determined and attemptedly rational.

Chikage rushes headlong toward his goals, but not thoughtlessly.

HOWEVER. With his Potentiality comes a pain-in-the-ass drawback that reflects on his personality in the form of uncontrollable rage. Over time, little things pile up on his conscience until he’s ready to tip, in which case he blacks out, void of all self-sensibility and incapable of thinking logically on his own. During these blackouts, or rampages, Chikage will attack anything in the way of his subconscious goal, but there is room for external influence (for example, a trusted comrade).

While he can be considered weak to a pretty face, given that he'll avoid combat with women, Chikage is vigilant and always questioning his surroundings and the people around him. He trusts no one in the large scheme of things, but will place small ounces of trust in his comrades when it comes to securing a goal. He believes women, or those adhering to feminal characteristics, to be the foundation of all things pleasant and beautiful; without a feminine touch, the world would be bland and without romanticism and character. But also, he is very certain of a woman's ability to be cunning and witty, never doubting their potential.

Despite his obsession with the gangs, Chikage cannot turn down a civilian in need. The rule of the gangs has been a long-time-running, but civilian issues come first depending on their severity. Misandry aside, he'll protect and aid anyone, but he doesn't have to act happy about it. Above all else, humbled by the power he wields, Chikage believes in the protection of NPs; that the strong are meant to protect the weak.

SIDE-NOTE: Chikage tends to associate women with different types of flowers.
SIDE-NOTE: His right hand is covered in burn scars.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
1986, January 11th—Nakazajo Chikage was born to Josiah Nakazajo and Nakazajo Oona in the West District of New Oasis.

    — —When Josiah and Oona married, Josiah took the Nakazajo name for its renowned reputation; business owners, doctors, and successful investors among more. In his country of origin, his family was considered just beneath royalty, but Chikage has never been there, nor has he inquired much about it, so he wouldn’t know the details.

    — —Chikage never met, much less knew, his father. When it was discovered that his wife was pregnant, Josiah vanished, taking with him all of his and his wife’s most valuable assets and leaving her dry. As a result, Oona was forced to seek help through her father, Nakazajo Dai.

    — —On the outside, Chikage’s mother was a cold woman. She never showed much affection unless Chikage exceeded some wild expectation. The extent of that affection was sharply: “Good job.” or “Nicely done.”

    1991, September—Chikage (5yo) started kindergarten.

    — —Growing up, he partook in the typical cliches of an extravagantly wealthy child. Polo, hide-and-seek in the vineyard with his mother who was only ever indifferent about the activity, sailing, golf, and more. He took daily piano and violin lessons, and was versed in the art of dining etiquette.

    — —In school, Chikage wasn’t there to make friends. Not that he could. The children at his private school avoided him as if he were a walking plague; as if the bubble that was his personal space had become tangible and solid, and they couldn’t get near him even if they tried. He kept his gaze forward and his face rigid with apathy, ignoring the whispers and gossip littered with his name.

1995 to 1997—Chikage met Mirka Evensen through his mother.

1997, February 8th—(11yo) Chikage’s mother, a Police Lieutenant at the time, was killed.

    — —Following the death of his mother, Chikage’s Grandfather assumed custody of Chikage.

1997, August 29th—(11yo) Chikage’s Grandfather, by way of connections, solved and revealed the true nature of Oona’s death to Chikage. That her colleague had been affiliated with REDACTED, a group of persons she’d been investigating. Unfortunately, scarce information was obtained, as the colleague in question perished in his prison cell days before the arrival of an HP consultant who could read minds.

    — —Now living solely with his Grandfather, who preferred to live more modestly, Chikage’s life took a slight turn. The time he spent dabbling in his hobbies quickly became time spent working, and his Grandfather would mock his manners, such as how he held himself at the dinner table, his formal way of speaking, etc.

“You sound like one o’ them posh bastards from Yutsubushi,” he’d say, Yutsubushi being his home-country where the Nakazajo name was royally affiliated. Such renown and grandeur, Dai never was interested. It’s why he left. He rathered a life of booze and women in a place where none could hold his title over his head and shame him for his leisure. But don’t be mistaken, money was still very much his interest. After all, you can buy all the women and booze you want with the right pocket change.

    — —Over time, Chikage started to regard his Grandfather with disgust as he began to further realize the old man’s beliefs. That “women are what make the world go ‘round because men need them in the homes, in bed, after a long day of work,” and “Men only want one thing: whores and money,” or that “women serve one purpose: to satisfy a man.” The one part of his Grandfather that he introjected was simply his dislike for men, but not for the same reasons as his Grandfather. For Dai, he disliked the competition that other men posed. For Chikage, he saw all men as just another Nakazajo Dai.

    — —For a long time, Chikage avoided women out of guilt. As he got older, he eventually grew out of the mindset that all men are hedonists, but his dislike for men was so ingrained into his behavior by then that the misandry became a natural trait of his.

2000, October—Dai signed (14yo) Chikage up for beginner’s carpentry classes, which he attended after school Monday through Friday. No longer were the days of piano lessons, but rather learning to work a lathe. “Time to learn a trade,” said his Grandfather, “You’ll never impress a woman with instruments like that. Only instrument that catches a woman’s eye is the one between your legs and a hammer.”

    2001, September—(15yo) Chikage skipped the 10th and 11th grades.

2002, June—(16yo) Chikage graduated high school early and received his carpentry certification.

2002, July 27th—(16yo) Chikage began working construction under a master carpenter. Given the ongoing destruction by gang activity, the work was non-stop.

2003, March 12th—(17yo) Chikage met a woman in the East District by the name of Emelia Dawson during a construction contract to build a bank. He accompanied a large team of workers, valued for his enhanced strength.
    e49d1a61efcbad6f75a761209c7d0cdf.jpg

    — —Emelia was a 22 year-old florist whose business was barely managing. One day, Chikage purchased a bouquet of dead roses, which she told him represented fragility and the passing from life to death (he took them to his mother’s grave). The next day, when he revisited the East District for work, having to pass her store on the way due to limited parking at the worksite, she recognized him and called out to him in thanks. Over the course of a month, she greeted him every day until he eventually started stopping by her shop on his lunch breaks. He showed polite interest in her hobbies, at first, before gradually becoming genuinely absorbed. Through this, Chikage began studying botany in his free time.

2003, May 10th—(17yo) Gang violence in the East resulted in the total destruction of Emelia’s flower shop.

2003, May 20th—(17yo) Chikage sought out Emelia Dawson, hoping to give her the much-needed funds to repair her business and then some. He managed to contact a member of her family after asking around, only to find out that she’d taken her own life just days before. Apparently the suicide had “been a long-time-coming” based on what Emelia’s friends had to say when he made an appearance at her funeral. She was from a family of gangsters, some hardcore and others lowkey, but she’d been outcast for showing disapproval of her family’s way of life. It was said that she had a cousin who took pleasure in making things hard on her.

    — —Chikage began looking for Emelia’s cousin.

2003, August—(17yo) Chikage started college, pursuing a bachelor’s in legal studies.

2004, January 23rd—(18yo) Chikage enlisted into the West District Police Academy.

2004, July 17th—(18yo) Chikage completed his resident training to become a Police Cadet.

2004, September 22nd—(18yo) While investigating a recent crime, Chikage happened to find the cousin of Emelia whom he’d been looking for. Seeing red, Chikage took the cousin into private custody behind his superiors’ backs for questioning. Throughout their talk, the cousin told Chikage of the mind-games he played on Emelia. That he’d convinced his fellow gangsters to harass her in moderate to severe ways, and so on, and Chikage lost control. He’d never wanted to kill someone before, but that night he did, and everything went black.

    — —Having been the first episode of blackout rage, Chikage’s rampage was less than extreme. However, over time, the duration between his blackouts became shorter, and each rampage became increasingly destructive. His usually cool and collected personality also began to change. He became more easily irritated and hateful toward his male colleagues.

    — —Chikage’s murder of Emelia’s cousin was brushed under the rug, and the cousin’s death was declared a result of gang-violence.

    — —As a Cadet, Chikage worked closely with seasoned officers throughout an 18 month probationary period, during which he mostly handled evidence logging, vehicular impounding, and directing traffic among many other things.

2004, December 25th—(18yo) Only five months into being a Cadet, while he was conducting a supervised investigation on an alleged incident of assault in Central, just around the corner there was trouble brewing. After a nearby commotion, Chikage’s superior officer advised him to stay put while he went to check out what all the fuss was about. As he did, civilians were in panic. Chikage watched as people fought with each other to escape the unseen chaos around the block. Shortly later, his superior’s voice blared through the walkie on his hip, describing the cause of the public disorder. Apparently some Tigers and Phoenixes had clashed over territory. Hearing this, Chikage’s legs moved on their own. He tried taking matters into his own hands, intervening. Chikage stood himself right in the middle of two incoming attacks, one from a fiery redhead—the other from a blue-streaked, black-haired individual. While he took both of their attacks head-on, he managed to power through and stall them long enough for back-up to arrive on scene. But by that time, he’d gone full rampage; blacked out. The three forces were locked in battle for several minutes, trading attacks back and forth, swapping opponents. When next Chikage woke, he was in the hospital, recovering from fourth-degree burns and frostbite.

    — —Due to the amount of property damage caused by his altercation with the Tigers and Phoenixes, Chikage was suspended from work for two weeks.

2005, January 9th—(18yo) Chikage returned to work from his suspension, still recovering from his injuries. He carried out most of his duties behind a desk until physically able to return to the field.

    — —From the previous moment forward, Chikage began developing a growing obsession with the four gangs of New Oasis; an awakening of hatred that had long been brewing inside him. The amount of sleep he’d been getting lessened as he spent nights rifling through paperwork, connecting dots and strings on his apartment wall, and jotting notes and questions of varying natures. He solved case after case, made arrest after arrest, his arrest numbers rising like the tides on a full moon.

    — —Chikage’s blackouts became more frequent. Where they were happening once per three months, they picked up to once every two months and his superiors dubbed him “Rocchi” for “Raging Ogre Chikage”.

2006, January 17th—(20yo) Chikage’s hard work paid off and he was promoted to Officer.

2008, December—(22yo) Chikage graduated college with a bachelor’s in legal studies.

2009, August 17th (C-SIDE: UNOFFICIALLY OFFICIAL BUSINESS)—Chikage met Corvo Cordesco, wife of Angelo Cordesco, Chikage’s partner at the time, at the retirement party of Lieutenant Olsen.

2009, August 20th—(23yo) Chikage was promoted to Lieutenant, skipping the Detective, Corporal, and Sergeant ranks.

    — —Chikage’s blackouts became, once again, more frequent, happening once, sometimes twice, every week with varying severity.

2020, May (B-SIDE: PART-TIME PANDEMONIUM)—(34 yo) Chikage met Yong-Yut during an undercover investigation at a Burger Knight.

2021, June 13th—(35 yo) Chikage was promoted to Captain of the CDPD.

2021, September 26th (ARC 2: INSUFFICIENT DETAILS)—Chikage fought and defeated the King of the Sable Serpents, Yuudai Fuse, while hunting the culprits of a stolen weapons shipment meant to arrive at CDPD HQ that never did. Before he could take Yuudai into custody, a woman by the name of Yelena Zaysteva showed up and introduced herself as Chief of Police.

She's good at what she does and surprisingly kind, but... makes me feel uncomfortable...
    Home District
    South District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Corvo keeps her chin up and chest out. She opts to dress formally in a suit and tie, only occasionally donning casual wear. Her mannerisms are typically slow-paced and almost bubbly with her gait. Usually, the only way people stumble across her first (instead of the other way around) is while she's smoking or having a glass of wine.

Some may find that Corvo's body is entirely cold to the touch—and lacking a noticeable pulse. Her body acts normally once her Potentiality is used up.
    PERSONALITY
Initial judgements of Corvo usually follow the same traits: easygoing and languid. Those same people quickly find, however, the jovial side of a woman who has little idea of personal space, all while maintaining a mature air about her. And, at the drop of a pen, that same attitude can adapt to the situation, becoming just as terrific as it was peppy. Corvo has no hesitation when it comes to her actions, always following through to the end. At times, it seems as though she barely takes hierarchy seriously. But if one thing remains constant throughout, it's that she doesn't view most people as humans, but as cute, little animals.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
(tw: instance of suicide; spoilered line)
For the most of her life, Corvo Cordesco never knew what her Potentiality was. She was aware of the HP properties that came with such a gift, but absolutely no indication of what special thing she could do. But rather than dwell on it, she opted to live on as normal.

Corvo's life was entirely unremarkable. She was blessed with the fortune of a loving, easygoing family of four far from Amestria—which at that point in time was nothing more than a headline of the news and the last place anyone wanted to be. Her family worked farms out back, spanning as far as their known ancestors. The family fell into a mold of daily work around the farm. As for any idea that she longed for something more? She only pushed to the back of her mind, not having a name to those feelings.

Incidentally, Corvo found that she was surprisingly efficient in slaughterhouse work.

Growing up, it seemed like she was going to inherit the lands as the oldest sibling, and that her life would continue as such until she died. That is, until Angelo Cordesco, son of their closest neighbor, caught her out in the middle of heavy rain. The downpour muddied the road, trapping her vehicle where it rested. Umbrella in hand, he came to her aid and rushed to the nearest shelter. They sat together until the rain subsided, conversing with each other during that time. Angelo was apparently a cop-in-training, hoping to land a job in the wasteland that was Amestria. Corvo fell intrigued—what could possibly have driven him to want to go there? Before long, they exchanged numbers and made plans to meet again.

She'd find him training; going between working out and practicing his gunmanship. The first few times they met up, Corvo only followed him around with questions—Angelo had to bring up other topics himself. Soon, she became interested in the routine he followed. One of these days saw her holding a gun for the first time; he handed his pistol to her, then proceeding to demonstrate how they were taught to handle the firearm. Angelo would go on to teach his wife the moves he knew, in case she ever needed to fight back. He'd remark on occasion how "farmer-like" her style was: slow-paced and calm, yet hastily efficient. Not meant for upfront combat, but in the back doing work that counted.

A few months into their regular meetings, the two shared their first kiss.

As more of Corvo's free time went to Angelo, this shift in direction became apparent within the family and the farm work. Ever-loving, they asked what was on her mind, and she happily opened up to them. It became clear that the beloved daughter of the family was being called to another path in life.

This all came to a head when Angelo announced his plans to finally move to Amestria and pursue his goals. His late grandparents, born and lived in Amestria, were murdered in their homes; robbed of everything they owned. The case went cold. Angelo, ever hopeful, believed that becoming a police officer in New Oasis was the right path to uncovering the mystery. He did not think Corvo would want to join him; so, he acted on a whim and dropped to a knee, holding a ring to her.

After some weeks of planning, the farm's inheritance fell into her younger brother's hands. Corvo packed her belongings, and Angelo lit up with delight as he found her meeting him at the airport, flying to Amestria.

They found a neat little apartment in Central District, cheap but homely; their residence for the next decade.

While Angelo worked with the police, Corvo took up other security-related jobs (separate from the Phoenixes' line of work), using her combat knowledge to her advantage; the environment of Amestria, however, took her by complete surprise. The quality of the people saw a significant dip wherever she went; a total contrast to the usual people at home. Corvo felt like an outlier amid packs of wolves. Every time, her peers on site would tell her the same thing: "You get used to it."

And she did. Over the next several security jobs she took for celebrities and influential figures alike, she hardened with the surroundings each time. A work persona, if you will. Corvo found a balance between her personal life and work. A switch between a warm, sweet side that could cry and embrace another; and a cold-blooded, horrifying side meant to dissuade even the rowdiest of troublemakers. Angelo was the only person to know the loving side to Corvo, and with that sense of comfort came a wave of guilt—for he felt that he was responsible for the changes Corvo went through. She promptly hugged him; she put herself through this because she wanted to be with him.

At 24 years old, Corvo gave birth to a son, Silvio. This led to her having to take a break from searching for work on the side, needing to stay in their apartment to recover and care for the baby. Months of uneventful waiting and the same routine. Her health progressed without any hiccups, and their son was healthy.

Weeks turned to months, and months turned to years. Silvio was already six years old, and Corvo returned to her usual schedule of looking for work right after sending their son to school. Angelo would pick him up on his way home.

At some point, the couple adopted a strong doberman who Angelo named Romero, after his grandfather.

Life in Amestria grew surprisingly serene. The delinquents' acts around Central became nothing more than child's play to Corvo. It was this sense of peace that removed the thought from her mind. The thought that Amestria was a crime-ridden land, where lives could change in a singular day.

Corvo returned home one day from a security stint. The apartment was dark; her family was not home. She called Angelo; voicemail. Then the police radio rang clear, and Corvo's heart dropped. She ran outside, just as the rain picked up. Through the streets, the route that Angelo always took home.

It was a skirmish. One or two of the gangs were involved. Bodies—many civilians—littered the streets. Their faces faded into blurred obscurity. A growing knot in her stomach twisted, squeezing every drop of hydration from her throat and breathe. She went cadaver to cadaver, meeting their faces: panicked, horrified, bloodied. She did not know how much her breath shook, nor realize how her feet trembled under her weight. And, after turning over body after body, there came a growing sense of relief.

Then she turned. The glint of a police badge caught her eye, first. Angelo, hugging their motionless son tight against his chest, lay in a pool of blood. Crossfire; a target; she did not know.

Everything felt numb. Wherever she looked, all was a blur. She could not taste the now-pouring rainwater, nor the blood in her tongue. Her feet dragged across the ground; she checked multiple times if she'd left a notable trail. She doesn't remember how or when she arrived at her old apartment. But inside, Corvo removed Romero's leash and let the door open for him. Then she took a stool and hung herself in front of the TV.

And, at 31 years old, she finally discovered her Potentiality.

Corvo did not end up in the afterlife. It was more akin to that of her soul remaining a ghost, strung down by unfinished business. Except, Corvo was perfectly alive and well. No pain, no scar, no aches. Nothing. Outside the door, Romero sat waiting.

She got a drink at the nearest bar.

Nobody ever returned to the apartment; it was cleaned up, the possessions given away, and made available for more guests.

The police held a funeral for Angelo Cordesco.

The rest of the family disappeared.

Corvo came to believe that the second chance her Potentiality gave was a sign; a sign that she was meant for something greater. She held her phone, glaring at her family contacts. She looked at the green call button, remembering the farm life she left behind so long ago. Her finger hovered over the screen for a good minute... then cleared everything. Something anchored her in Amestria, gnawing inside like a starved wolf.

Come a few years, and Corvo is 34 years old, emerging in the Southern District after so long. After some stints with local stations, Corvo turned her attention to the Scarlet Phoenixes. A hurricane tore through their home only a month prior; she figured their procedures would be less stricter in favor of having more hands on relief efforts. And, perhaps, the gang would be the perfect place to begin anew.

Taking residence in a secluded apartment in the South (thankfully seldom touched by disaster), Corvo brought herself and Romero.

After wandering the district a couple of days, pondering how to enter, she was fortunate enough to catch the attention of one Vulken Beckman. Without her even needing to lift a finger, he was the one who approached her, probing into a conversation that she directed towards the resident gang. She told him of her intents: to join the Phoenixes, simple as that.

They set up a meeting time and place; he would have a trial set for her by then: a straightforward battle. Corvo accepted the terms without the slightest of hesitation.

Come the time of the date, and both participants showed at the ready. Corvo arrived in her work clothes, a formal black and white suit. The ensuing fight quite literally erupted. In the end, there was one dead body—but no actual casualty. Corvo's Potential was used up for the day, but she came out as the victor. She won solely by the element of surprise, and promptly entered the Phoenix ranks.

In the years up to now, Corvo has kept a steady, easygoing position in the gang. She does what she's told and heads out once in a while to do her own thing, bothering few (being Yong-Yut flinging Corvo around in tired frustration). Though many see her as nothing more than a complacent woman, there are those who sense something more to her: A desire, unquenched and waiting. Her husband came to Amestria with the need for revenge, and he tried to do so by following the law. Corvo understood it perfectly, now; she stayed in New Oasis for the same reason as Angelo, but this time, she had no intentions of doing things the clean way.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Vincenzo, Bella, and Paolo de Rossi - Corvo's father, mother, and little brother. She has not seen or contacted them in years.

Romero (tw: blood, dismembered arm) - Corvo speaks of him as though he's a person; he's just her really big pet doberman. She likes telling people that "he doesn't bite," but not many people believe that.

An obstinate woman. That girl from the...Northern Stones, was it?
    Home District
    North District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A dark haired woman with short, chin-length locks. She tends to wear make-up, generally preferring dark/strong colors like black, sometimes red. She has a tatoo of a flower on left shoulder and multiple piercings on her ears, as well as one on her lip.

    (Face claim: Nana from Nana)
    PERSONALITY
Cold and blunt, but also with a tendency to cuss when irritated/enraged, Sabrina distrusts most people except for her former teacher Valerie Steinburg. Like the Sable Serpent veteran that introduced her into the gang, she sees most Serpents as idiots and takes the 'do whatever you want'/'personal freedom' policy to heart. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't do it...unless leadership forces her. Even then, she'd have a nasty word to say to those that would try to impugn upon her personal freedom. A woman with a thorny, lone-wolf, personality that, despite not talking all that much (except when she's pissed), likes it when things are loud. When there's a 'vibration' in the air...even if those causing the vibration are those she would prefer not to hang out with. Dealing with people exhausts her most of the time. She likes being alone. She likes listening to music. Loves it in fact. Even if she's no longer in a band, and no longer as any interest in returning to the music industry, she enjoys playing her guitar or harmonica at local bars. Even if she's alone and no one's listening, she would still play. Still sing.

Sabrina drinks. Smokes. Eats what ever she wants ever since letting go. Her voice isn't as smooth as it used to be, but it has a unique rasp to it. Trust is hard to earn with her, but once it is, Sabrina is incredibly loyal.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in the North, Sabrina was always aware of the gangs that did their best to make lives hell for everyone else. Plenty of people around her wanted to be them--the predators and not the prey. Sabrina didn't. She just wanted a normal life. However, with her mother having left them when she was young and her deadbeat father drunk on most days, even such a simple wish was difficult. Sabrina's life growing up wasn't easy. Of course it wasn't. She didn't live on the streets (exactly), but she had to scavenge whatever food she could find. Steal whatever she really, really needed if she couldn't afford it herself--though she tried not to make it a habit and refrained from stealing whenever possible...as that only ever really led to fights and Sabrina didn't have any potential to speak of. Still, Sabrina grew up hardened. Learned that in order to get what she wanted, she had to be strong. Weakness made you a target. Showing weakness made you a target. Sabrina's only solace during those dark times of her youth was music--a harmonica she'd found in the junkyard one day.

Sabrina taught herself how to play. She learned to sing from the old records her father had around the house. However, Sabrina didn't really learn music until an elementary school teacher noticed her talent and taught her how to read music sheets. Guitar first. Then piano. Then drums. Sabrina didn't have a potential, but she was quick to pick things up when it came to music. In a sense, music saved her from continuing what would've been a dark, lawless life. Turned her attention to school and education. Sabrina did well, all things considering, but focused her education on music. Music was how she poured out all her feelings. Bared her soul out to others. Naturally, her focus drew other like-minded individuals.

In middle school, they formed a band. Practiced in whatever garages or warehouses they could find. Performed in whatever gigs or venues would allow them--sometimes for free--so long as it let them play in front of a crowd. Their big break came in high school when a talent agent saw their their potential and offered them a contract. Things seemed to be looking up...until it didn't. The first album of the Northern Stones came out and hit the top of the New Oasis Billboard Charts. The band was high on their success and victory. However, with success and fame came new enemies. Rivals and competitors that took notice of the new upstarts and wanted to take them down a peg. However, the worst enemies came from within. Arguments about money became more common. Sabrina watched as the band they'd started together, that she grew to love, gradually changed. It annoyed her. What did matter who got more of the spotlight in that one performance? Or who got more fan letters? But it did. It mattered a lot.

One by one, the members of the the Northern Stones started to leave, replaced by new members until Sabrina could hardly recognize it anymore. She was urged to play a different sort music. The more popular kind. The kind that would net the agency the most money...but she couldn't refuse because she had signed a contract. No longer able to express herself, Sabrina started to hate what she had once loved. Drinking. Drugs. They became vices to help her deal with her current depression. However, what really brought about Sabrina Felton's downfall was when she finally cracked and made an enemy of a pretty little princess from a bigger agency that had paid her way into the industry. Information about her past (of violence and thievery) in the North was leaked to the press. Rumors sleeping with her music producer to get into the agency. Of her lip-syncing in some of her performances and other unethical behaviors. In the span of a single night, she went from someone loved (or at least well-liked) in the music industry to someone most hated. The fans that once claimed to love her hated her. Hate-mails had become a daily occurrence. Slanders and former fans expressing their disappointment in various inappropriate ways well. Gradually driven out of the industry, at the age of 20, Sabrina used whatever money she made to pay off the contract as well as the damages 'she'd' incurred. The damages to her reputation ensured that she would never be taken in by another agency--or welcomed in the music world--again.

The band Northern Stones was nothing more than a one-hit wonder. A brief stint of fame.

With nothing left to do, Sabrina returned home to the North District where not even her father wanted her anymore. If not for a former high school teacher, a veteran of the Sable Serpents Gang who had taken in, she might've been raped off the streets. One of the few kind teachers who had tried to help the children of the North District become better people. The ChessMistress offered her power. A drug that would give her the strength that let her stand up to other HPs, make her an HP, and she took it. It might've killed her. But it didn't. It gave her power she would have never dreamed of...StingRay becoming one of the few successful experiments of the Serpents' potential-inducing drug. Under the protection of the ChessMistress who trained her, StingRay fought her way for a place into the Sable Serpents. She didn't push drugs. Didn't do anything she didn't want to do and anyone that tried to make her do otherwise had to beat her up. Prove they were stronger. In that way, StingRay built her reputation as an obstinate and uncooperative woman. One who couldn't be easily rolled over by the will of others whether she was part of the gang or not...though she will listen if their logic makes sense to her. She has no love for any of the other gangs either and is strong in her belief that those living in the North District deserve more than what they have.

She works part time for the Director of Blue Hill Orphanage, where the ChessMistress picks up orphan children from the slums of the North District and trains them to be stronger. The rest of the time she's either composing music (just for herself) or lazing about in the home of one Valerie Steinburg until she makes enough for her own place.

      North District
      GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Blond hair and ice blue eyes, Valarie typically dons black as a member of the sable serpents...but it's also because black is professional and makes her look slimmer.
      PERSONALITY
Cunning, ambitious, and cutthroat, Valarie is a no-nonsense woman that doesn't actually believe in anarchy or unadulterated freedom. Rules are their for a reason. Every game has its rules and guidelines. That's what makes the game of life fun. However, she does believe in power...and doing whatever she can to grasp it...whether it means skirting around the guidelines a little or not. She is clever and resourceful regarding the pieces at her disposal, always trying to think several pieces ahead of her opponent. At the same time, she's also blunt and hates being controlled by others. Rather, she wants to be the one in control. While Valarie isn't quite apathetic to the feelings of others, she's also self-serving and will (generally) prioritize her own survival over everything else. Sufficed to say, Valarie's opinion of most serpents is fairly low, but at least they don't bother her about how she does things. She's also surprisingly daring and enjoys a good game of Russian Roulette once in a while. Life, to Valarie, is a game, so you win some and you lose some...though she has every intention of winning. She's the type of person that keeps her cards close to her chest.
      HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Valarie's biological father was a rapist and a criminal. Growing up, she never received love from her mother. She was never mistreated. However, her mother never showed her affection either. It was obvious, even to the young Valerie, that her mother would've been happier if she'd never been born. Still, Valarie did her best to earn that love. Not causing trouble. Getting good grades. Yet, despite her efforts, the moment her mother re-married, the distance between them grew even greater. The woman had a new rich husband, a new child, and, from then on, Valarie was shoved to the backline (while they moved to the West District where there was less crime). Shipped off a boarding school out of the country so that her existence could be forgotten. There had been no contact from her parents except for the fees they paid for her schooling. Depression settled in. No matter how well she did, no matter how hard she tried, they wouldn't notice her. Or rather, they didn't want to. Valarie had no idea how she finished her required education with relatively good grades considering she'd been working on autopilot the entire time, but it didn't matter. Valarie, who didn't care much about her life anymore, enlisted in Amestria's Army...where she was introduced to the horrors of war.

It was like a jolt from the blue. Countless life or death battles. Bloodshed. Experience fighting in the Army awakened the survival instincts within her and Valerie served in the army for 8 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel...before being dishonorably discharged for refusing to follow orders of her superiors and killing 'potential children spies', who were actually just scapegoats to mask their failures. Not knowing what else to do, Valarie returned to New Oasis (North District) where she worked as a teacher at a poor school, hoping to educate children to grow up to be better, well-rounded people (unsuccessfully), for 2 years before meeting the Director of Blue Hill Orphanage, falling love, and getting married. All was well...until Valarie it was revealed to her that the orphanage was actually a Sable Serpent child-trafficking ring and that her husband, a veteran of the Sable Serpents, was an absolutely sleazeball. Filth on earth. Something within Valarie snapped that day. Perhaps it was the lack of love she received as a child. Perhaps it was how she had been dishonorably discharged. Perhaps her hope in humanity, and all the good in the world, were dashed. But, on that day, something within Valarie changed. Outwardly she was a good, supportive wife to him. Joined the Sable Serpents. Helped her husband with his work. Helped him peddle drugs...and the occasional child organ...when necessary. Made allies with other Serpents...while secretly training the children of the orphanages in the ways of self defense and warfare.

In 2019, Steve Steinburg of the Sable Serpents was found overdosed with drugs on his bed, and his wife became the new Director of Blue Hill Orphanage.

In 2020, Valarie's parents died from a mysterious car crash and she had her uterus removed, so that she can no longer have children of her own. Technically, the Chessmistress is still a member of the Sable Serpents, but she only really does jobs for the gangs when required to (by its leaders). Otherwise, the Sable Serpent's 'do whatever you want' ideology fits her just fine. No one really knows what's going on in Blue Hill Orphanage and, as long as Valarie has the power, she intends to keep it that way. Surviving in the North is all about power, after all. To live, you've simply got to win, whatever the cost.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A pale, young woman with stark, white hair, and black eyes. Dark rings of sleeplessness coat her eyes, but they seem to give her one visible eye an unnerving glare, rather than make her look tired. Oft described to possess a hundred-yard stare. Once a mess of unkempt, messily braided hair, her hair has now been cut short and tied into a neat pony-tail. She doesn't seem to have a 'typical outfit', and mostly appears in casual wear, ranging from t-shirts, tank tops, or hoodies. As part-time muscle, she doesn't need to bother with appearances, after all.
    PERSONALITY

Dagger is pragmatic in her methods. In war, there is honor, and there are rules to follow. In a cesspit like New Oasis, where every fight is a struggle for her life, she knows not to underestimate the scum that infest it. There is no honor, and there is no love lost for any one person she guts. For her, there is no surrender. She will fight to the bitter end, bite and claw if she must. She will use any and every tool in her arsenal just to make it out of a fight, and has enough common sense to flee from a battle if things are going south for her.

She is paranoid, and rarely sleeps deeply, being woken up by the smallest sound in her vicinity, gun in her hand. She advises caution to anyone who would listen, and trusts no one enough to reveal anything about her personal information.

She is a brute, make no mistake about it. Even at her best, she is blunt and callous, and her first port of call for anything in her way is violence and death threats. Anyone who have tried to blackmail her have found themselves strung up and left to bleed to an agonising death. The less fortunate have found their family members, loved ones, or close friends, in the same state. When she sends a message, it will be clear and concise, and even the densest fool cannot mistake her intentions.

She draws the line at innocents, however. Though that line is drawn in front of 'kidnapping, holding hostage, etc.' she would never meaningfully severely injure, cripple, or kill an innocent person. She is vengeance and justice, and kills those who deserve death, and innocent civilians do not fall under that purview.

She relieves stress mostly by smoking, often to levels of a pack a day, but she has another outlet for her frustration. Prior to her getting together with her squadmate, she was a notorious visitor to many night-time establishments. In the past few years, however, her quest of revenge and subsequent depression has left her with quite the amount of pent-up frustration, and it won't be long before she returns to her old habits again.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Elise Cutter was born somewhere in the frigid lands of Ilberia. There is no record of her birth parents, and it is inferred that she was taken in by the ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ at a young age. The psychological and physical torture ensured that she had no memory of her parents, and searches by use of DNA were largely inconclusive. She was one of the few in her cohort to make it past the training stage, and, at the young age of 9, took part in multiple staged attacks on the military regime of Ruthenia and notched several marks onto her blade. Volk successfully killed a Homo Potentialis (referred to onwards as HP) at the age of 11, wounding him in the eye with a knife, then, using his own Potential to fatally injure him. She was given the name Chernyy Volk after this achievement, and was celebrated by her peers and her commanders as a HP killer. The HP's Potential was later utilised to create the knives that Elise Cutter is most known for using, being capable of piercing and wounding most HPs.

In 2008, ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛'s base was attacked by Amestrian reinforcements during Operation Snowblind. The assault was widely regarded as successful, with minimal losses on the Amestrian side (Refer to files ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛-⬛⬛ to ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛-⬛⬛). Chernyy Volk and the other surviving child soldiers were detained and were subsequently sent for rehabilitation. Cpt. Alphonse Cutter of Task Force Crescent stayed with the children for their whole rehabilitation, and managed to bond with Volk. Alphonse Cutter would go on to adopt Volk in late 2009 in order to help her reintegrate into society much more easily, and gave her the name Elise Cutter to, in his quotes, 'put as much distance between her and her past'.

Elise Cutter did not fare very well in school, and struggled to maintain passing marks in most of her academics. While this caused her some distress and her to lash out unpredictably, Alphonse Cutter's presence and support managed to keep her mental condition stable. She excelled in arts and crafts, however, though she would never decide to pursue this line of creativity.

In 2014, Elise Cutter enlisted into the Amestrian military. After an incident regarding knives, she was given the supposedly derogatory callsign Dagger, and she spent a year with the ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, before being transferred to Alphonse Cutter's newly formed Squad Olive Tree in Task Force Crescent. It is widely believed that Alphonse Cutter forced the transfer out of worry and concern for his daughter. Under Alphonse Cutter, Elise Cutter achieved several feats of heroism, with her largest achievement being to take out key HP personnel during Operation Roncesvalles Pass by herself, though some have attributed her achievements to her nature as a born killer, rather than a soldier of Amestria. She also later gained some notoriety as a lady killer herself, after having been introduced to some ladies in the oldest-known profession. She was recovering, and was beginning to open herself up more, and express herself much better.

She would never make a full recovery. In 2018, 3 members of Squad Olive Tree, Alphonse Cutter, Harry Talbain, and Chloe binti Rahman, were KIA in an altercation with ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ (Refer to file ⬛⬛⬛⬛-⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛-⬛), which likely caused the beginning of Elise Cutter's downward spiral into depression and regression. According to her peers, Elise Cutter vowed vengeance against them, and made a promise to kill every last one of them. In early 2019, however, the aforementioned PMC came into the employ of the Amestrian military, rendering her efforts and preparations moot. Elise Cutter was said to have argued with the remaining member of Squad Olive Tree, Simone Justicar, on her oath of vengeance. Though Simone Justicar attempted to dissuade her from her path, even going as far as to threaten to cut their ties, Elise Cutter did not comply (Refer to Interview ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛-⬛⬛).

By mid-2019, Elise Cutter was responsible for the murders of several members of ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, and was subsequently dishonorable discharged from service and marked as a wanted woman. While on the run, Elise Cutter managed to wipe out all of the key members of ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ by herself. She was finally confronted by Lt. Simone Justicar during Operation Wolf Bind, and was shot by her during the events that transpired. Though Simone Justicar claims it was a lethal shot, no body was found, and a bounty of A$⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ for Elise Cutter is still available. It is believed that ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛'s demise was Amestria's plan in the first place, having been made up of war criminals and agents of terror. This is somewhat backed up by the fact that Amestrian reinforcements were often deployed too late to assist due to 'technical malfunctions'. Elise Cutter's involvement only expedited the process. However, in order to keep up appearances and to avoid repercussions, Elise Cutter had to be marked as a wanted woman and a murderer. Amestria, of course, denies all claims.

As of 2021, there have been reported sightings of Elise Cutter in New Oasis, but no claims towards the bounty have been made. Considerations of closing the bounty are underway.

Elise Cutter, now under the name Dagger, has been living in the slums of the North District with a friend of her father's. Having accomplished her only goal in life, she has nothing else to live for, and only eats and drinks merely to survive. During and after recent events, she had a Potential forced into her. Though the Sable Serpents kept her around in order to try and induct her into their fold, she tore through her captors, even in her unstable state, and escaped to the West District, where she finally collapsed from exhaustion and the after-effects of the transformation into a HP. She was picked up by members of the Albino Tigers, who recognised the effects of the Serpents' experimentations, and was given proper treatment. During her recuperation, Markus Weiss approached her with some part time work in mind. Though she initially refused to be part of anything that happened in New Oasis, Markus managed to convince her. Both knew that the other would kill them if they ever had the opportunity to, and to that, they formed an accord.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Markus Weiss: Boss. She's not exactly loyal to him, but until his pockets dry up, or she finds a better employer, she will acquiesce to his demands. She makes it clear that she will slit his throat if an opportunity rolls around.

Ezra Knight: Barely recognises him, and doesn't know his name- she never asked. Was hired by Silas Knight to train him in knife combat and self defense. She wouldn't say she taught him everything she knows, as it's up to him, in her opinion, to form his own techniques that he would be comfortable with, and she thinks her lessons are widely useless anyway if the man doesn't know how to employ the lessons properly.

Alphonse Cutter: Team leader of Squad Olive Tree, and Dagger's adoptive father. Deceased. One of the major threads that held her together. Now that he's gone, she's regressing to her wild nature. Callsign: Almace.

Chloe binti Rahman: Member of Squad Olive Tree. Deceased. Treated Dagger like a younger sister. Was 2 years older than Dagger. Callsign: Curtana.

Harry Talbain: Member of Squad Olive Tree. Deceased. Similarly, he treated Dagger as a younger sister. Was 5 years older than Dagger. Callsign: Hauteclere.

Simone Justicar: Member of Squad Olive Tree. The other survivor of the original squad. After the disbandment of Olive Tree, she rose in ranks, and became a team leader of her own. Used to be in a relationship with Dagger, until they broke up prior to Dagger's murders. She is 3 years older than Dagger. Despite this, she is one of the last remaining threads that hold Dagger's rationality and morality intact. Callsign: Joyeuse.

Yong-yut Somsri: Weird girl who accosted her when she was out buying supplies. One thing led to another, and they eventually introduced themselves to each other. Dagger used the name Emilia Romagno, however.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Ryutaro is an average man by all acounts in terms of most of his appearance, maintaining a normal height and a well-built frame, with the sole exception of a sharp, striking face that could cut through steel and his gaze pierce through anyone his eyes come across. His distinct, golden hair also gives his head a prominent almost regal appearance as well as if it were a crown atop his head. Much of his complexion stems from his extensive routine to keep up appearances to their utmost best to not only blend in but to also establish rather subtly that is he above those he encounters, their superior in every way. His expensive fashion choices also communicate said superiority in a subliminal fashion.
    PERSONALITY
Ryutaro places himself above all else, in his never-ending desire to obtain power and status. To him, nothing else matters in this world except creating an everlasting legacy through sheer force of will and through force of strength. All that matters to him, ultimately, is the power (physical and immaterial) to change the world. Though, you would not get this from his own outwards appearances alone.

A façade he employs is that of a mask of that of a businessman - a ruthless capitalist. To the standard layman, he is an oligarch who commands vast sums of capital and property. But power without purpose is meaningless, and Ryu's purpose goes beyond simple wealth accumulation or frivolous capital spending. Of course, luxuries have their perks but that is not what is most important to him. To those he trusts, he listens and pays respect when it is due. For power commands followers. To his enemies he is ruthless and brutal. For power commands fear. And for the world at large, to him, power is what commands mankind.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Ryutaro's upbringing was that of privilege and upstanding class as his father had been both a business magnate and an aspiring politician. All the benefits of luxuries and power struck Ryutaro at a very young age and made an impression on him, but his world came crashing down when his father was struck down by a scandal that tore his family apart and took the lives of both his parents: his father by assassination and his mother from suicide due to the shame that had been brought. Gone were the luxuries of life, replaced by the destitution of being cast out for being his father's son.

It would come to be something that made Ryutaro hate the world around him, and enshrine his father as a victim of outside forces in his mind. And thus, Ryutaro survived on the streets to carve out an existence for himself. It was at this time he discovered his potentiality as well and enabled him to continue surviving. His fortunes did change however once he was taken notice by a Veteran Member of the Scarlet Phoenixes and was offered a sponsorship into the gang. He readily accepted and was inducted into their ranks, and by chance met perhaps the most formative person in his life: Hitoshi. The two, despite their disparate upbringings and lives felt a mutual understanding between one another and became friends. Soon after however it became something more as they became Oath Brothers, pledging their loyalty to one another and binding themselves as if they were family. It was the first time Ryutaro ever had someone he could rely upon truly beyond a simple transactionary relationship... but it would also be the last.

For Ryutaro in the few years following his hunger for power only grew as he continued to labor away. His desire to make something of himself, and bring change, only grew with the passage of time. Unhappy with his situation, and growing ever more daring in his defiance towards leadership in the Phoenixes, it was then he found an opening to what he saw as brighter shores. He desperately wanted to bring Hitoshi with him, so they could continue being the partners that they had grown to become, but when faced with this dilemma of choice it broke the two of them. In the incident of their parting, Hitoshi had been faced with an impossible choice. Either choose loyalty to the family in the gang he had grown to love, or choose loyalty to whom he had sworn a blood oath with. For Ryutaro, his oath brother turning his back on him was the straw that brock the camels back with regards to his views on the world.

And so he abandoned the Phoenixes and was welcomed into the Tigers, given veteran status as a reward for his defection and additionally the resources he needed to use his skills that he had learned from his father towards building his power and place in the world. In the years following, Ryutaro now runs a real-estate empire that acts as both a legitimate enterprise as well as a front for some of the Tigers' other activities to bring in great profits and cover to the gang. Yet his hunger was never abated, it only continued to grow and now his sights are set for something even loftier than his current, powerful position. The power to change the course of destiny itself like the great men and women of the past. It is not content enough to rule a city, when one can aspire to greater heights.

For his vision, he wants it all.

And now, as Queen, he has the chance to leave his mark on the world.

    Fickle, Cheerful Traitor
    Home District
    West District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Peyton has a short figure, only boosted slightly by the elevator shoes that he wears. His yellow and black hair is to all eyes natural, as well as his snake-like yellow eyes. However, if one looks closely in his eyes, they would notice that there are swirling iridescent colors and that his natural brown eye color can be seen behind it. These are the only signs of Peyton's disease.

He prefers informal and baggy streetwear that complements his yellow and black appearance, with a strong preference for hoodies. When he needs formal clothing, he wears his former Eternal Night Palace uniform with a generic dress vest. He always wears his talisman earrings. The sleeves of his hoodies are usually rolled up, revealing a large scar on his forearm that looks as if someone had taken a bite out of him.
    PERSONALITY

Although Peyton is an introvert, he likes to spend his time in the company of others. He believes in living life to its fullest and in the present. Whenever he is not with others, he is curled up with a nice book.

Peyton believes in peace and order, however, the question lies in how that peace is achieved. In Peyton's case, he truly believes that peace is achieved through violence, and so he will mercilessly fight his way towards that. This often coincides with the ideas of freedom that the Serpents have, and although Peyton disagrees with that notion, he has no problem cooperating with them. Peyton does not understand the value of life, and severely underestimates the value and fragility of his own life-- In fact, he rarely cares what happens to his body.

He also finds the disease that is running through his body cool. It's a part of himself, why shouldn't he accept it with open arms? He's got a bit of a playful side to him, which often goes hand in hand with his wild beast-like side when he's got his virus out on full display. He's hopelessly a fan of romance and BL stories. In love, he wants to find his romance-book ending and is incredibly jealous, so much so that he can be called a yandere at times.

Peyton has an addiction to chicken noodle soup and loves bleu meats.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Peyton was born in the Western district to a family running a failing restaurant. In his teenage years, Percy would keep the family business afloat by gambling. He was excellent at this and could often rake in enough to support a living. This all lay under his Potential, which originally was known as Lucky, providing him with extreme amounts of luck, with the downside that he could not choose when it activated.

Sometimes though, he could tell when he would be in for a dry spell in terms of luck. In his mid teenage years, he sensed the tides turning as he began to lose money rather than gain money in his gambles. He now had two choices: One, work for the Albino Tigers in the hopes of repaying his debt. The other choice was to find employment at the Sable Serpents, from which he had found a researcher looking to test new drugs on human test subjects for ludicrous sums of money. Of course, Peyton chose the second option, as it also had the benefit of helping provide for his family.

Although Peyton found the studies fun, they were quite dangerous and destructive. He even thought he lost his Lucky potential along the way, although in truth it had morphed into something else. In the end, the studies gave Peyton the zombie virus-like disease that he is currently afflicted with. The researcher had expected that Peyton would succumb to the disease, but the transformation of Lucky turned into a potential that could utilize his disease. After only three years of being with the Sable Serpents, he was able to pay off all his debt.

Now an adult, Peyton snuck out of the Sable Serpents. He was nothing more than a lowly member who only had membership solely so that he could be experimented on. He moved to the Eastern district to get away from the chaos of both the Western and Northern districts. It was also the original home of his forefathers. He sought to lead a normal life as a bookstore salesman (and a slightly less normal life working part time at a brothel at night). It was a large but homely bookstore with antique wooden bookshelves and beautiful scenery outside the door-- which Peyton was responsible for taking care of. This was also the meetup spot of a group of teenage NPs, consistently after every school day. Throughout the year that he worked there, Peyton got to know these teenagers very well.

Unbeknownst to Peyton, the NP teenagers were targetted by a group of human potentials, who had harrassed the group throughout school hours. The bookstore that Peyton worked at was like an escape for them. But when the teenagers one day entered the bookstore with suspicious bruises, Peyton relentlessly interrogated them until they spilled the beans.

Peyton beat the shit out of the bully potentials that were harassing the teenagers and cut off their tongues.

A few months later, in the mail, he received a letter from the Azure Dragons offering him membership. Turns out, they had been tailing him ever since he left the Sable Serpents, and the person who invited him found him beating up the bullies to be "noble." Peyton was a bit worried about the fact that joining the Azure Dragons constituted betrayal to the Sable Serpents. But after only a few minutes of deliberation, decided the extra money that came with it was worth it.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Those who can pronounce Peyton's legal name Pengfei without butchering it can call him by that. Otherwise, he prefers to be called Peyton
    • Raphael Shaw: Peyton and Raph bonded as lab rats during the year or so the two of them were in the Sable Serpents. They often worked together when Peyton took missions with the Serpents. Throughout their time together, Peyton grew to extremely like Raphael's prickly nature. When Peyton left the Serpents, he didn't see it as him betraying Raph. He's very heartbroken to realize that Raphael hates him for the betrayal. All he wants is to mend that relationship and turn things back to how they were in the past. Now that he's returned to the Sable Serpents, he hopes that Raph can forgive him.
    • Bolt Beckman: This guy fucking assaulted Peyton outside of an Alfredson's. Peyton doesn't even know his name. What the fuck.
    • Isobel Pham: Isobel was Peyton's debt collector. Peyton got along well with her, as due to her timid nature Peyton got the impression that Isobel was collecting debt because it was her job, not that she enjoyed it. Regardless, Peyton does hold a small bit of a grudge in the back of his mind for her having to kick him when he was down.
    • Tri and Paris: The ones who experimented on Peyton, primarily Tri though. Because of his willingness as a test subject, Peyton still has a good impression of both of them. As Tri is his King, Peyton has a good impression of him.
    • August August: Schoolmates during high school. The timid Peyton and the reclusive August didn't interact or notice each other much save for one particular disastrous science project. In the present day, Peyton has conflicting feelings of love-hate towards August, envying his wealth and seeing him as a rival, but also being swayed by the man's kindness. They are roommates.
    • Yuto Nishimura: Peyton and Yuto are friends with benefits, often spending time together and exchanging physical affection. Peyton likes play-fighting with Yuto and considers him one of his most important parts of his life.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Raquel stands at 5'6 ft tall and weighs around 170 lb. From a distance she's easily recognizable thanks to her long flowing, light red hair and onyx eyes. She often wears stylish clothing whenever possible and has whip holstered onto her belt.
    PERSONALITY

Raquel can be many things. She can be sincere at one moment but incredibly insincere at the next—kind of downright belligerent in the subsequent encounter. Due to the drawbacks of HP, she's bipolar. However, some characteristics remain the same despite her ever-changing behavior. Raquel will always try to display herself proudly, even if she's completely unhinged. 'A woman who knows what she wants and gets what she wants is the most accurate statement regarding her demeanor. She frequently teases or belittles whenever she gets hungry anyone in her sight.

However, behind this, internally, Raquel is insecure and pessimistic. A human who eats its kind is lesser than a beast and more of a monster. Despite that, she can't help but consume more and more to lessen the hunger in her stomach. Even more so when her appetite slowly becomes more insatiable, making her grumpier and pickier with her food. This causes her to play more into the act of a prideful monster who enjoys eating people because that's all she sees herself.

Though behind all this remains a small kernel of kindness she once had.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Anything before her recruitment into Phoenix via sponsorship has been a blur to her. However, Raquel recalls a happy feeling whenever she searches for anything related to her childhood. It seemed to be a soothing feeling for Raquel even when she had become unbearably fickle. Wealth, grades, friends, family, and love, she had everything. Then it was gone. Anything after that was filled in with red.

Raquel can only remember the pitch gray alleyways as she wandered through, trying to find her next meal. On good days she would be at least be able to find a curious wanderer, on bad days she would left starved and in pain. Anything that wasn't to her HP's taste caused her to vomit the once natural sustenance onto the ground. She lost count of how many people she consumed in the dark alleys that she now called home. All of it was meaningless under her hunger-like stupor.

That was until she encountered a strange man. While on her hunt, she was suddenly attacked by him. In a close match, she managed to catch the man off guard with her HP and quickly killed him before he realized his mistake. The calories, the sustenance consumed to fight that man, instantly made her feast on the body. Hours passed by before there was nothing left of the man. Once the delicious morsel was finished, Raquel could only look up at the sky with a satisfied smile. That was until her sanity returned to her.

In mere moments everything came crashing down on her. Her red-stained hands, the faces of those she's eaten, an unfamiliar environment. Tears soon fell out, and her bloodstained hands smeared her face with red. However, not even a moment had passed before someone approached her. An offer was made, and she accepted it.

Years later, Raquel now relishes her activity of hunting for a delicious meal without any consequences. She can eat even more delicious delicacies, meet more exotic HPs, and now has a chef that cooks her meals.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
celestine is quite tall standing at about 6'7 (6'10 if you take into account the heels of her boots) and has a very fair complexion. she has long silvery-white gradient hair that fades to black. her hair is parted off-center with unevenly cut locks, the left is at chin length while the right is a bit past her shoulder, framing her face; one side is covering her right eye, the rest styled in a low, loose, thick braid often tied off with different coloured ribbon depending on her outfit that day.

she has very pale blue eyes, though they appear silver in most lights. she doesn't enjoy wearing makeup, not that she needs it to begin with, but always has a faint red eyeliner framing her eyes. celeste takes very good care of her appearance, preferring to keep herself looking very elegant with the clothes she wears; she sacrifices comfort for beauty. there is some scarring on her arms, legs, and back that appears to be from some sort of blade. she has a scar over her left eye.

there is always a very sweet floral scent clinging to her skin.

she has a couple of tattoos:
    - two shark tattoos, one on her left ankle and another on the side of her ribs, right below her breast
    - a snowflake tattoo on her abdomen, an inch or two below her belly button
    - post arc 3, celeste has a tattoo on the left side of her body
    PERSONALITY
celestine is a very closed-off, quiet woman. she is compassionate with those in her gang but often tries to keep them at a distance, struggling to form close bonds because she is afraid that she will lose her memories and end up hurting them (emotionally) as a result. she is the type of person you'd never expect to see involved with a gang. she's soft-spoken and gentle, not one to get involved in physical altercations unless absolutely necessary or if it is to protect a fellow gang member/someone she is fond of.

celestine does have a bit of a sadistic streak; when faced with a complicated or dire situation, she will happily resort to psychologically torturing someone to get out of it. it has nothing to do with her not being able to fight, celeste is fully capable and physically very strong so she could participate in a fight without an issue; it's just that she would rather torture someone with their own memories than get into a physical fight with them, especially if they are threatening her fellow gang members. even though celeste knows well enough that they can take care of themselves, it doesn't stop her from being extremely protective. (she's a bit of a walking contradiction)

when it comes to her gang (despite how she distances herself from them) celestine is fiercely loyal, almost to a fault. she would do anything to protect them and if she feels they are threatened in any way, she will get involved.

celestine takes things far too literally and jokes almost always go completely over her head, she usually needs someone to explain them to her. she's smart, but she's so, so stupid.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
celestine has very little recollection of her past and while she has journals detailing a majority of it, she does her best to avoid reading them because of what is written on their pages and keeps them locked in a trunk beneath her bed (though she will read them if absolutely necessary). many of her memories she has forcibly suppressed due to the traumatic nature of them or they have ceased to exist altogether because they were corrupted by another's and had to be removed entirely. what she does remember is somewhat limited- she knows she was born in france and later moved to amestria and was raised in the north district. she was abused by her mother for the majority of her life. celeste has little memory of what her mother did to her, but she has the scars to show for it. if she had a father figure in her life, she has no memory of him either.

celestine remembers going to school and completing her education early when she was 17, then there's another large gap in her memory until the day of her 18th birthday. her memory of that day is relatively foggy, except for when she put her mother through hours of psychological torture. celestine made her mother relive all of her worst memories, eventually causing her mother to suffer a complete nervous breakdown. from what she remembers, and based on what she wrote in her journal, celestine did that to her mother as a way to get back at her for all of the torture she put her [celeste] through for the past 18 years.
[note: doing that to her mother was what caused celestine to lose many of her own memories- although she remembers more than she thinks]

celestine doesn't know what happened to her mother after that or where she ended up, but she was finally free and she left her home and didn't look back, determined to find her own path in life. that path just so happened to lead her to join the sable serpents.
    RELATIONSHIPS
delphine cadieux(npc): [faceclaim: mei mei from jujutsu kaisen] her mother and someone she despises. well, celestine knows she's supposed to despise her but cannot seem to remember exactly why, not that she cares much; what she does remember about her mother isn't all that great. //wip

maurice cadieux(npc): [faceclaim: pierro from genshin impact] her father; she has absolutely no memory of him and isn't aware that he played such a large role in her life growing up. due to many of her memories with him being so traumatic, she initially wrote about the memories in her journals hoping that would help in some way, but when that did nothing she ultimately chose to bury them entirely; these were some of the first memories she ever forcibly buried.

felix cadiuex(npc): [faceclaim: andrew minyard] celeste's older brother✨

yuto nishimura: one of celestine's few close friends (they're besties). while it's only been a few months since their initial meeting, yuto has quickly become one of the few that are in her genuine good graces and whom she would go to great lengths to protect. their first-ever meeting was when yuto witnessed her trying to pet some ally cat, only for it to hiss and claw at her. he was kind enough to wrap the cat in webs and hold it so she could pet it. this, for whatever reason, started something and yuto began to bring her other creatures he webbed so she could pet them. celestine doesn't remember when their relationship went from 'that one boy who brings animals for her to pet' to 'best friends' but she has decided not to question it and accept the fact that this is where their relationship ended up.
(tldr: they had a strange first interaction with each other but now they're best friends and celestine adores him)✨

amari is a relatively short woman with a slim figure. she has mid-length orange hair that reaches her neck and is styled with bangs that cover the right side of her forehead. amari has orange eyes, long eyelashes, and thin brows of the same colour. her typical attire is a suit and tie or a maid outfit, it's rare to see her wear anything casual (especially when she is out with jesper). amari definitely favours the suit, but the maid outfit makes her feel cute which is why she continues to wear it.

she has a large tattoo of roses that covers part of the left side of her face, her neck&shoulder and continues down her entire left arm before ending on the top of her hand.
edit: the entire left side of her body is covered in rose tattoos, her left leg has an alternating rose/snake pattern. the snake's head is on her hip and that is where it ends, but the roses continue up the rest of her body. (image for reference)

note: amari smells of citrus and sandalwood.
    PERSONALITY

amari isn't a nice person. she's harsh and blunt, not taking into consideration how her words or actions might make someone feel. if you aren't on the very small list of people she likes/is loyal to, she doesn't care about you or what you have to say. with the few she does care for, amari is relatively kind. she still doesn't have much of a filter but she tries to think before she speaks because the last thing she wants to do is upset them.
amari always puts those she cares for most above everyone else, no matter what.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
amari was born into a very poor family in the north district and was the youngest of five kids. as a child, amari rarely saw her parents due to them being out working a majority of the time; her older siblings became her caretakers in the place of their parents. her childhood remained pretty normal, save for some incidents amari has buried in her memories, but it wasn't until she was 10 years old that things truly went wrong.
she and one of her older sisters, juno, returned home after a day out to find their family slaughtered. it was a gruesome scene and something that would forever be burned into amari's memory. instead of doing anything, juno told her that they were going to grab whatever they could from the house and run. not knowing any better, and distraught from seeing the mangled corpses of their family, amari did as she was told without questioning it.

from then on they lived on the streets. it was difficult, sure, and there were many times amari wanted to give up, but juno helped keep her going. for five years they lived like that, barely managing to avoid anything that could get them into trouble. slowly things began to get better; juno got a job, amari found little ways to make some extra cash on the side, and they were doing well for themselves. unfortunately, things quickly changed one evening when they were jumped by a group of masked men and brutally assaulted. in the end, juno was shot in the head and killed; watching as her last remaining family member got murdered sent amari into a frenzied rage. for the first time, amari used her potential to its fullest, shifting completely into a massive wolf- she tore the men that attacked them to shreds before fleeing.

after the incident, there was a large hole in her memory; she wasn't sure how she changed back or how she ended up in the east district. amari had no interest in thinking about it anymore, though, and decided she would just forget what happened. amari took to living on the streets, surviving as she had before as though the attack and juno's murder had never occurred.
she decided it would be best to lay low for a while, at least until she could figure out what she was going to do next. for a couple of days, amari managed to go more or less undetected, until one day a woman approached her. amari was immediately defensive, ready to fight if the woman tried anything. what she did instead surprised amari- the strange woman offered her a job and amari hesitantly accepted the offer; while it made her uneasy, she knew better than to turn down a chance to get off the streets.

amari began working as a maid for sophia albrecht from then on. for a while, she wasn't sure if the employment would last, but amari quickly grew attached to sophia; her loyalty to the woman that saved her was unwavering. (and eventually, amari would feel the same way about jesper- her loyalty to him absolute)

in 2019 jesper joined the azure dragons, amari was unable to follow him right away despite how much she wanted to because she had not received a letter. thankfully for amari, it was only a little over 2 weeks that she had to wait for her own letter inviting her to join the azure dragons.

Cold, and ruthless failure of a villain
    Home District
    South District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Gideon's face is perpetually twisted in a scowl, although he'll drop that in favor of resting bitch face if he's in the presence of someone he likes. His smiles are rare and ephemeral, and a sure sign of approval.

He has upwards of a dozen barista uniforms, so rather than bother with changing his outfit, he just sticks with his uniforms every day. It consists of a forest green button up shirt with the Clark's Cafe logo embroidered at the breast. He often pairs this with a pair of black pants. For when he needs to fulfill his villain persona, Gideon will don a beige trenchcoat over everything (although he sometimes wears this trenchcoat to school with a scarf when it gets cold out).
    PERSONALITY
"I must make a great villain." Gideon is obsessed with the idea of being evil. He uses his scary appearance and his cold, jaded personality to try to drive it home. He wants to instigate chaos, cause atrocities, and put people in misery. Problem is, he's not a good villain. Gideon naturally has a kind heart, is weak to cute things, and balks at the sight of gore.

Gideon is heavily religious, however, he very much bats for the other side. He owns a "Dark Bible" which is in actuality just a bunch of satanic notes. One day he hopes to be able to run his own church (and secretly teach them the power of the dark side). As a part of his religion, he preaches independency, self-advocacy, and tolerance.

As a regular at Clark's Cafe, Gideon is hopelessly addicted to coffee. He knows how to grind his own coffee, but he still comes to Clark's Cafe because he believes his coffee making skills are inferior. He feels the urge to better his coffee skills and without any sense of reason wants to learn to make latte art.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Gideon was born in the central district to a single parent family of one mother. He had never met his father ever in his life. As a wee child, Gideon filled his time watching movies and marvelling at the villains with their fearsome appearances and epic entrances. He vowed that when he grew up he would become a villain too.

At school, Gideon often got bullied for his family situation. This is where Gideon's prickly attitude began, and where his determination to become an excellent villain stemmed from.

In high school, three notable things happened. Gideon first joined a coffee shop called Clark's Cafe down in the South, where they served coffee in a reutilized church. Initially, Gideon was just a customer of the cafe until a barista named Pax convinced Gideon to give coffee making a try. It has been almost five years since Gideon joined the cafe.

While a customer for Clark's Cafe, Gideon began to read up on religion. Although intrigued enough to be proficient enough to give sermons, Gideon realized that he aligned better with the demons and brimstone.

Finally, when he was taking out money from a bank, he was caught up in the middle of a robbery. The robbery was instigated by none other than a fearsome member of the Scarlet Phoenixes by a person named Klaus. While he intended to be a fearsome, evil figure, Gideon just found them to be cool. He was taken hostage by Klaus to guarantee an escape route, and while Klaus intended to release Gideon after the robbery, Gideon demanded to be kept captive. After days of refusing to leave his captors, Klaus finally relented and allowed Gideon to stay, and took him under his wing.

While Klaus tried to teach Gideon the ways of being a villain, things were complicated by the fact that Gideon was a Non Potential user. However, Gideon refused to relent. He devised a plan: When an HP banker arrived at a certain parking lot, Gideon booby trapped the entire area with bombs. He had spent the past few days memorizing where they should be put, so by the time Gideon put the plan in action he already knew where every bomb was by heart.

After a tense battle where Gideon avoided getting into a direct confrontation with the banker through strategic explosions and a little known tactic called "using the elevator," Gideon was finally able to incapacitate the banker and rob him.

Stealing from the rich never tasted so good.

However, the banker did ask Gideon a question: "Who are you?" Gideon, who had not thought of a proper evil villain name yet, stuttered and said, "Ev-- Evielle?"

It was so cringe. Even worse, it actually became his villain name.

Klaus was impressed, but he couldn't let Gideon into the Phoenixes nonetheless. He was an NP after all. However, there was one day that Gideon realized that he was in fact a HP, not an NP. That day, he cursed God for making him so physically weak.

And with that, finally Klaus was able to sponsor him into the Phoenixes. It was his birthday present. Finally, Gideon's villain story could begin.

Currently, Gideon studies history at New Oasis Central University and rooms with a foreigner named Jozef.
    RELATIONSHIPS

    • Ashley Hart: Gideon very much likes Ashley platonically. He also hides behind Ashley like a wall. Much to Ashley's dismay, Gideon pats Ash's head like he's a dog.
    • Yong-Yut Somsri: Gideon and YY have a complex relationship. They squabble and fight with each other. YY calls out Gideon's efforts of being evil. However, they have each other's backs, and Gideon even trusts YY with his bombs and detonation device. On occasion, Gideon will invite YY to hang out with him, in his own tsundere fashion.
    • Rutger Vos: A monster that Gideon partially regrets sponsoring into the Phoenixes. He doesn't feel like the more experienced one when being compared to Rutger, and he's rather scared of him. But deep down inside, Gideon knows he's safe when he's with Rutger, and he greatly appreciates the assassin's friendship.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Sophia stands poised at a shade over six feet, with a slim, athletic build and barely tanned skin. Her short, two-tone brown and white hair often resembles a bird's nest, and refuses to cooperate with any attempt to neaten it out. Her eyes, which have an amber hue, need prescription lenses to see anything. She sticks to contact lenses, and would take being blind over having to wear glasses. Sophia wears a suit when on the job. When she has free time (she never has free time) she wears very simple outfits.
    PERSONALITY
    nice lesbian

Much of Sophia's typical behavior stems from her job as a servant. She is skilled at keeping up a professional exterior. In public, her facial expression never deviates from a slight smile. In private, it's mostly still a front, though a sliver of her emotional, easily excited side comes through. Even when in the presence of others, her natural behavior manifests in the form of a sense of slight optimism. Not cheerfulness, not excitement, just a steady calmness and self-assuredness. Also, she likes attention and praise.
Sophia cares deeply about the feelings and emotions of others, unless they've done something to be categorized as an Enemy. If she feels she has to, Sophia will work day and night to ensure everyone she cares about is happy. She wants to be useful, helpful. If someone tells her to do something, anything, and she respects them, she'll do it. Maybe she'll feel guilt over it later. Maybe she'll get drowned in work and forget. She has an unhealthy desire to protect those she cares about, regardless of the costs. Her moral compass is centered around her role as a protector and the ones she protects.
Although she's nearly immune to direct insults, she takes criticism of her work personally. Unless she has some particular respect for whoever is giving the advice, she will simply ignore it and get defensive.

    Apathetic, empathetic, dark-humored

    West District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Pascal has fair skin, blue eyes, and blond hair. His frame is slim from often having to skip meals, yet not without muscle, built from his line of work. While his face is clean-shaven, his hair is usually shaggy and disheveled. His gaze is tired but friendly, and he often wears a smile on his face, although it seems to be more from habit than genuine happiness.
    PERSONALITY
Pascal is well-aware of how unfair life can be. He also knows how pointless complaining about it is. That's why he just goes through the motions with work and tries to find joy in the simple things. His motivation for what he does has simply boiled down to self-preservation nowadays, and he has almost become numb to the pleas of his marks. Almost. If there is any possibility of leeway, he is quick to offer it up.

In the same vein, if he can get away with something, he's quick to do it. He's learned that even if they have a hold on you, if you play along just a little, you'll find their grip loosens up. After all, when you're indebted to someone, your death or incapacitation results in their loss as well.

Pascal has found there is a certain power in apathy. When you care about nothing, you have nothing to lose. A dream or a goal is something that matters to you, so therefore, he isn't much of a planner. Life has thrown him some big curveballs throughout his years, so he's resigned himself to go with the flow.

He chooses to keep himself distant from those around him (save for one), and he tries to make sure the company he keeps is self-sufficient. In that case, there's less reason to worry about them if they end up in trouble.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
While some people were born with silver spoons, Pascal had to use his hands. His whole family was poor and mostly uneducated. His parents worked for a family rich immigrants who were just a few levels below royalty in their home country, serving as maids and gardeners. While the Corbins often wished for the amount of wealth their employers had, they were well-aware of the problems in that household which money couldn't solve. With an absent father and a cold mother, they felt sorry for their employer's son despite him being born into the lap of luxury. Bringing their own son, who was around his age, would kill two birds with one stone. They would save on babysitting costs and hopefully provide their employer's son a friend. That was how Pascal met Chikage.

Having grown up with Chikage for as long as he could remember, Pascal considers him family. It was also through Chikage that he learned that money wasn't everything. When his mother died, he did his best to be there for him and comfort him. When he had to live with his grandfather, Pascal made sure to keep in touch with him. In turn, in the future, Pascal happily looked forward to Chikage visiting him in the hospital during what he believed were his last days. They grew in different ways, with Chikage seeming to hate men as he got older while Pascal instead took a strong interest. Despite their differences, they had their bond from their early years to fall back on, and that bond was what he was one of the things he was most thankful for when he thought he was at death's door.

Pascal always knew he was a HP. He had the telltale heightened strength and durability. Nothing showed beyond that though, at least not until he was 15. It started out with him simply feeling thirsty more often, and he seemed to be sweating more. When he end up dehydrated not long after drinking a whole gallon of water though, it was obvious that something was wrong. After being admitted to the hospital, it was discovered that his body was slowly liquifying itself. His organs were turning to water due to an unstable Potential. There were treatments available, but they were far beyond what his family could afford, so he had accepted that his life would soon be over. He had quite a positive mindset for someone presumably at death's door. He tried to let go of any regrets or unfulfilled desires and to just enjoy the time he had left with his friends and family.

One day, his parents came in with smiles on their faces. These weren't the smiles they usually put on to reassure Pascal, but rather, these were hopeful and genuine. They had a word with the doctor before telling him the good news. He would be starting treatment. He was shocked, but grateful and ecstatic. But where did they get the money? It turned out they had taken a loan from the Albino Tigers. Being extremely familiar with predatory tactics and exorbitant rates, the news put a damper on Pascal's new lease on life. His parents assured him there was nothing to worried about. There was also nothing he could really do in his current situation, so he just let it happen.

The treatment took about two years, but at age 17, he was able to return to his usual life. Everything was different now, though, as he soon found when he returned to school. His cohorts had all moved ahead with the passing years, while he was back where he had left off. On top of that, his family would now have tense discussions with bill collectors every few days. He might have still been young, but he wasn't stupid. He knew his parents couldn't pay off the loan, the loan they took out for him. There were other ways a debt to the Tigers could be paid off, though.

Feeling he had no direction in life and not wanting his parents to suffer because of his needs, Pascal ended up shouldering the debt from the treatment costs and joined the Albino Tigers. He has been a member for 17 years now, working primarily to collect debt from other poor saps just like him, but he is sadly not even a bit closer to paying off his debt. He managed to move his parents out of New Oasis in order to keep them safe from the Tigers should anything happen to him, but that comes with the caveat of not being able to contact them.

He currently lives in a dingy old apartment in the West District and is barely able to make ends meet. Sometimes, he has to skip meals in order to make rent towards the end of the month. If there was any silver lining in his situation though, it's that he's still in touch with Chikage, even if his childhood friend is now a cop, and Captain of the CDPD, no less.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Nakazajo Chikage: What an unlikely duo. These two make it work though, and have been doing so since diapers. Pascal considers Chikage his closest friend and makes sure to keep in touch regularly, even with their careers being at odds with each other. Their general rule is to not talk about work, but Pascal may or may not have let a few interesting tidbits about the Tigers slip over the years. Oops.

Kiwi is a little teapot —short and stout at 4'10, 193lbs. They're a darkskinned person with brown eyes and green and brown dreads, with pin straight bangs. Natural darker brown swirls are plastered on her cheeks. Their style can be condensed into two categories: dim, bluer and greener tones with flowy skirts and crop tops with a hooded vest, or a neon on black, vibrant alt aesthetic. They also appreciate their fair share of piercings.

As she has a mobility impairment, she can be seen with a neon green walking cane, and/or her service Labrador Retriever, Buttermilk. Commonly, she may instead send her other dog, a German Shepherd named Zygarde, in her place for many things.
    PERSONALITY
Kiwi'll flash you a friendly smile, help you set up a webpage, show you a neat hack for your favorite video game, and then some. She'll enjoy anyone's company, whether loud and obnoxious, calm and quiet, or even just obscene. She has an interest in combat and, despite not being the most mobile of people, has been working upwards to her combat ability before she needed more help. That is to say, don't underestimate her ability.

It's not like it'll be important, however, as she prefers staying inside her house all day due to reasons. As she's somewhat of a paranoid person, she's frequently double-checking things within and outside of her space. It comes with the understanding that people can access your information at any time, y'know?

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
At birth, Kiwi was diagnosed with a physical disorder that would lead to her mobility skills to deteriorate over time. It made learning to walk and handle things difficult when she was young. Very soon after her birth, Kiwi’s mother disappeared, leaving Kiwi in her father’s sole care.

He was forced to juggle work, fatherhood, and many, many bills on his own. They moved to a cheaper part of Central in order to make housing bills less daunting. It didn’t improve things much, though.

That stopped, however, when Kiwi was three years old. Her uncle had come to visit and, seeing the state of the household, offered them a place to stay in the West. He promised to handle all their bills and finances, and that all Kiwi’s father had to do was not question him. Kiwi’s father agreed, happy to finally be out of the mud regarding finances.

For the following years, Kiwi and her father were well. They focused entirely on Kiwi’s health and happiness. For a while, in her preteens, she loved taekwondo and worked hard to build up her skill in it, up until her disorder made it difficult to maintain at age 12. At that point, she had already gained an interest in coding.

All the while, however, her uncle and father had multiple discussions. Over time, Kiwi’s uncle began to withhold the money and assets from her father and filed false insurance claims for Kiwi. He even disallowed her father to work. Anything to keep Kiwi’s father financially dependent on him. Her father tried to say things against it, but backed down each time the moment her uncle mentioned Kiwi’s need for the money.

Unbeknownst to him, at age 15 —the same age Kiwi’s uncle bought her the dogs she owns and loves now— Kiwi found something out. With a lot of snooping through her uncle’s files, history, and records, she quickly learned everything her uncle had been hiding from her. Namely, the fact that he was a member of the Albino Tigers and had been financially abusing her father.

Now, they didn’t question where the money had come from before. Kiwi’s uncle was a popular game and talk show host. He was everywhere, so of course he had money.

But this revealed a whole other type of ‘rich’ he was.

Over the next year, she planned to confront him about it, and in late April 2015, she did. A screaming match between the two ensued and both of them attempted to get the other to back down. That night, her uncle left, and the next week, early May, she posted on social media, fit with legitimate records, an attempt to get her uncle shunned by the public.

Later that day, she found her father crying. He didn’t cry often, so this came as a shock to her. When asked what was wrong, he revealed one simple thing.

    They were bankrupt.

As a way to get back at Kiwi, Kiwi’s uncle used his power over their finances to put them into debt. Severe debt, with the Albino Tigers he worked for. Not only that, but the scandal fire she had tried to spark was put out as soon as it started. Not many people that saw it believed the post. Even when it did spread a little, people simply ignored the revelation. The entire thing was moot.

She lost. She put her father in debt and it was all for nothing. It was all her fault.

They sold as much as they had access to to afford to move into a cheaper house in the West —as cheap, but nice, as they could— and also afford to keep the dogs. Kiwi, in an effort to make it up to her father, joined the Tigers as an indebted member.

However, she held a misdirected grudge against the lot of them. She avoided them as she could —which was easy, as she never left her house— and those she did meet, she disliked. Especially her uncle, and especially a specific guy’s HP fighting ring. Kason. Some guy —Akira, or something, she’d say back then— paid Kiwi to look into his business, and as soon as she learned even a little bit about it, she hated it. She particularly hated how one specific fighter was treated.

So she decided to shut it down.

Late at night, she took control of Kason’s system and led the fighter, named Shinko, to freedom. Rumors say soon after Shinko’s escape, she caused the death of Kason and his coworkers. Kiwi would continue to keep tabs on her from then on.

Soon enough, the aforementioned ‘some guy’ employed Kiwi full-time. That job, along with other business ventures Kiwi picked up along the way, allowed her and her dad a boost up in terms of their debt. Though, they’re not exactly out of the mud, yet.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Towering at a height of 8'7 (262 cm) thanks to her Potential (and being able to reach higher because of it), Shinko is eerily skinny and ghastly pale to boot. Her entire self is never kept well: her hair is scratchy, dirty, ruffled, always covering her eyes; everything she wears is used and dirty; she stinks of sewage and garbage, often being covered in the same muck. With her preference of wandering out at night time, it's no surprise that a rumor spawned of the malicious spirit, the "Takaonna." Shinko does anything but blend in, making herself known visibly and audibly wherever she goes. Whether it's the heavy footsteps or the heavy breathing, her monstrous height, or her uncannily slender and long limbs it's easy to pick her out.
    PERSONALITY
Shinko knows little. Having lacked any proper parental figure, Shinko gained many of her mannerisms on her own or imprints left by those who stuck around enough—typically not lovely people. Shinko has lived through it all: coldness, paranoia, and bitterness. She's become numb to it all—embraced it as a sort of tool to unleash as harm to other people. In her mind, engraved by those who raised her, her purpose is lies with her higher-ups, regardless of if that's what she wants or not.

On the surface, Shinko is a quiet and reserved individual, barely talking and only giving body gestures to communicate. She follows her peers around whenever they need her, nodding in silence; obeys the ranks' every command, letting it take higher priority above all else. She lets loose amid combat. Takaonna's calling has found a place in the gruesome areas of crime, be it murder, kidnapping, torture, etc. Violence has been the only way she's ever known to solve problems—she was never taught any other way. Shinko has found her place in the Serpents, and at last, she feels right at home.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Shinko Noroi. A name that literally means "cursed child."

She was born in a remote, countryside village of a continent to the East. The society the Noroi family lived in had a norm. Anyone outside of the norm would be seen as disrupting the peace; an alien amid people.

So when the Noroi family gave birth to their fourth child, a daughter who was pulled out of the womb with sickening limbs—like entrails dragging behind—who was born blind and waddling and crawling around like a long-legged spider—it seemed to spell disaster for the family. Hence the name "Shinko," meaning "curse" in their language.

Utterly ashamed, her parents acted quick. They told their neighbors it was a terrible miscarriage; bribed the hospital staff to never tell a soul of the truth; locked Shinko away in their unused cellar. The story would end there: a skeleton underneath their home... if not for Shinko's siblings. They were the only reason she survived; sneaking down to feed and nurture her in secret. She grew surprisingly fast, becoming taller than even her oldest sibling at only a few years old. For most of her childhood and the coming years until adolescence, this was how every day was spent. They couldn't speak, and in turn raised Shinko not to raise her voice—something she still mostly abides to today.

Of course, a naturally curious child, Shinko felt her way around every inch of the cellar; she found a way out: a small window that her family overlooked, letting warm sunlight in all the way from the ceiling. She stretched and climbed her way up—she was free. She felt the grass and wind, heard passing cars and voices... and screams.

Word circulated around the town of a horrifying monster that roamed the night. It was abnormally tall and slender, moving not at all like a human. They called her the Takaonna.

It didn't take long for the rumors to reach the Noroi family, and even less time for them to connect the dots. The parents stormed the cellar, where they found her. They knew they had to do something, but they didn't know what. So, for the time, they left her in the cellar, this time stopping the rest of their children from going in all at once in fear that they'd be cursed by Shinko. The visits became less frequent, the meals of lesser quality, and the silence was at an all time high.

Fortunately for the parents, one of the doctors stopped by with a deal. Why go through the messy, risky process of murder when they could simply sell her away?

So in the dark of night, when the rest of the family was fast asleep, Shinko vanished, never to be seen again. Under the impression her kindly sisters would be with her, she went along with her parents under someone else's control.

She said goodbye to the family that raised her... for a new one awaited her, whether she realized it or not.

The doctor put her and several other coerced HPs on a ship bound for Amestria. Young and unknowing of the malicious intent behind these strangers, Shinko remained quiet—just like she was trained to do. Whoever the group was, when they arrived in Amestria, separated the group and ushered them quietly and calmly. For some like Shinko, they acted as caring as their facade could let them as to not rouse her suspicion.

She was crammed into a truck, bringing Takaonna into the Western District. There, she met a Tiger named Kason, who she'd work for in the coming years. At this point, she still believed she was in good company.

Except Kason ran an underground fighting ring, and he wanted an HP under his thumb who would win his fights and rake in the betting money. It was in these fights where Shinko learned the most of what she knows.

At the power lashed against her by her opponents, she learned pain, fear, and the existence of "bad people".

At crushing her enemy's head like a watermelon in desperation of wanting out, she learned what taking a life was like—before she even knew the implications of another person's life.

At the cheers and cries of the audience, she learned taking a life appeared to be a good thing; something to be proud of.

At how Kason reaped his earnings and rewarded her food for victory, she quickly learned that violence seemed to be the key to everything.

And so she kept it up; it wasn't like she had any other choice. kept his fighers like prized bulls: contained and always training to better and stronger. However, it didn't take long before Takaonna realized her sisters were not coming back for her this time. When she asked Kason about them, he brushed her off. Before she knew it, she was back where she began: confined, and this time with nobody to help.

This new life continued for a long period of time. Rest in repetitive confinement, go out to fight when Kason needed her, get the same reward of food, and repeat. For each cycle, she fostered a bizarre new feeling for Kason: hatred. It made her body twitch and tense up at the very sound of his voice.

One night, though, Shinko awoke to the speaker's buzz as a girl's voice came on rather than Kason's. She spoke to Shinko directly, introducing herself as Kiwi. Kiwi proceeded to take control of the whole prison system and opened Takaonna's cell door. She'd guide Shinko around by the sound of her voice—hopping from speaker to speaker—until she found the exit.

In her first moments of freedom, she had two choices: run into Central District and seek help, or...

    Shinko already made her choice.

In the dead of night, Takaonna returned to Kason's office building. He, a number of accomplices, and a host of guards were partying after her successful fight in the ring. Her arms reached over the walls of the building, pulling herself around to where the noise was loudest. She found a window, and there, she burst in.

Gunfire and screams rang out that night. Nor did they last. The bodies would be found either strangled or with their bodies contorted in sickening ways, having almost every bone in their body broken. Walls and floors saw damage, usually with remnants of a person at the end of it.

As for Kason himself... Shinko grabbed him by the foot, pulling him from a doorway, across the halls. She swung with him grasped tightly—anywhere, wherever—through walls, against the floor; many, many times. Takaonna only stopped when she felt blood drench her hand, and she realized his upper torso was no longer there. After that, she disappeared for good.

At some point, Shinko accidentally wandered into the North District, and inadvertently Serpent territory. She crossed paths with a gangster by the name of Lilith Svanenhielm, who took a liking to the odd girl. She ended up inducting Shinko into the Serpents—yet again without her knowledge or say. Still... as the years went on and the Serpents' reign continued, the Takaonna has taken a liking to the new lifestyle presented for her.

Urban legends persist in Central District about a tall and slender humanoid creature roaming the streets after dark.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Compare him to five or four years and you'd think he was one of those comic book, fictional characters that trained on an island or on some dojo for a couple months, to a year, and suddenly came out not just changed in body but in mind. Gav from before he left Oasis, is not the same as he once was after returning. Where he was no taller than 5'5 despite being older than most rookies that joined the Dragons at 18, and possessed a leaner form of muscle, as well as a much younger visage, Gav's body has finally gone through it's growth spurt- not just in height but in form. Aside from his appearance changing over the last few years at an alarming rate, he's also gained some scars. Several on his back, one along his cheek, all of which have fully healed- leaving pale marks and lines along the length of his back in crosses; healed scars along his arms; and tattoos.

He has two emerald green dragons that wind around his arms and stop at his shoulders, glaring with purple flames licking around their scales, yellow eyes dilated into slits. As well as a tattoo on his right waist, around the hip of a clenched claw, dripping blood- a mark of recognition from his House that he did not have before. The third tattoo Gav has on his back is a Strange symbol with crossed swords, and word Kurban tattooed on it.

    PERSONALITY

During his time with the Dragons, Gav was a short, belligerent, quick-tempered, loud and assertive guy. Friendly until you rubbed him the wrong way then he got mildly petty- he was prone to acting childish to some degree when really irritated and ticked off, and he radiated alpha male energy, and sometimes acted like it. While he hasn't lost the boisterous air he once possessed, he is a lot more mature than he once was. He's more temperamental, thinks now instead of just reacting on reflex or impulse, no longer carries that sense of pettiness he once had born from being cultivated in the noble circles, and is less likely to react to being taunted in a fight than he would have been.

His humor however, hasn't changed- its grown in unique ways. And that's probably the one thing to watch out for.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Two nations, once an empire- fractured and divided not long before the HP explosion. Bethall and Timbekka had a complex relationship, and this relationship would influence the lives of the natives that travelled between the two countries. Both countries would grow to have separate identities, both were generally distant but not far from Amestria or Oasis itself, and both had a different perspective on the introduction of HPs into the world from within their own land, and a mutual dislike for each other over time through decades of geopolitical conflict with one another that never seemed to stop since the division that led to the fracture of its once great empire nearly two hundred and thirty years ago.

The Alcazar came to become a part of the political system that Bethall now upheld. Reformed after the last war ended and around the period of the big boom as a new ideology took root in the nation under the Royal Mauds, this political system played favoritism with HPs- or those that had relatives whom possessed what the people of both Bethall and Timbekka called in their native tongue, 'Essence'.

'Essence' was to put it simply, the gift of the inter-dimensional being, Anru. Anru was a spirit in some parts of the Archipelago, in other parts they were a god, in other forms Anru was a demon that had sought to test humanity-- gender varied depending on the region of the archipelago, sometimes it hardly mattered- but the identity of Anru stemmed from the Royal Mauds. The inspirators of the belief along with their allies who spread it across the nation and even to Timbekka of which it had a more unique interpretation.

In Bethall, people who were not normal, who were part of the HP Race were said to be blessed with Anru's Essence. This paranormal alteration of the body made HPs what they were. While Timbekka had a different interpretation of Anru that catered towards demonic, Bethall turned the outlook towards HPs into something beneficial. It made them revered, not regarded as monsters, but treated justly. Stronger than NPs of which there was a majority, but not to be ostracized because they were different. HPs born on its islands were like gems discovered in a cave. They were to be cherished, and the Revered Circle was the best way to inspire that.

Considered to be the spiritual servants of the God Anru, and allies of their new leaders, the Revered Circle was a newly formed aristocracy that awarded the status of nobility to a individual and allowed them to pass it on should they create a family. Homopotentialis were merely beings born with a gift that their god has granted them. And Gav was born to one of the few families across this archipelago nation that had achieved an Honorary status, bestowed by the monarch of the nation.

Being part of the Revered, didn't just label you with status and a level of recognition- it brought responsibilities. Gav, was a noble. He had duties in the future. His family were based in the eastern part of the country, where the interpretation of Anru was that the interdimensional being that bestowed the gift to humanity which would forever alter some of them genetically, did it as a cruel test to determine whether mortals could survive the temptations of power and greed, or overcome it and be greater than they were. Alcazar's, at least the specific ones born with powers- tended to have good ones, often noticeable between prepubescence's and adolescence.

Unlike a majority of his family, Gav would always struggle with his powers- never fully understanding what it was he could even do. And because of that ignorance, he quickly became labelled as a piece by his mother to be used for political purposes, and nothing truly important.

Gav spent most of his life within the Revered circle, considered something of subpar, like most HPs that had less than useful abilities, he was dismissed as being just that.

He was a pretty face, a person that was a tool- and he knew it, and he hated it.

He was less than useful to his House. Not a thing his father could do would help him, even if he had wanted to- which at times, he often didn't. His siblings if anything, three older sisters, were all particularly cruel in pointing out his failure to truly understand himself- as if you were an HP, being able to understand your capabilities was a core part of understanding your true identity. Though he was trained to fight because conflicts in the East were common due to their proximity to Timbekka's Southwestern coast, he never got put up in the field and instead was regulated to public face activity or general patrol outposts when he started adolescence. Considering his country was a meritocracy that had a favoritism towards exceptionality and uniqueness, he couldn't even show what made him unique. What allowed him to stand out- so he probably wasn't unique at all- and though he fought to deny this stigma that his family used in some ways to emotionally manipulate him to push harder, it also became a crippling fear that drove him at times to act out.

Especially when war came charging towards their home.

When it came to battle, there were some Revered Houses the Crown would use as military chess pieces to back up its militia. The Alcazar's were one of the powerhouses that could be used in conflict with foreign nations or even in its own borders- they were renown, for being effective on the battlefield and considered one of the top houses for it- so when a surprise attack slammed into his home on a holiday meant for relaxation, it was not a surprise- but what was, was the betrayal of some of their own allies in the aristocracy turning on them.

It was not a good time for him to try and play hero. But he did. And while he managed to score a blow that would scar the enemy in a manner which would only unintentionally bring a stronger war to the forefront, it also left one sister horrible wounded- and for that he was punished. Sent away to a ally's home to be watched there.

He had never felt so much fury, and then so much elation when another battle came knocking on their door again.

This time though they lost- and with reports of aristocrats being targeted specifically in the Revered Circles, an order from his family forced Gav and this ally of his to be sent to allies in Amestria.

Life could have been different, if they weren't followed and their ship sent off course due to damages on the way.

Leaving them stranded in Oasis. A city he'd heard nothing good about from reports in the past.

Being the defacto leader of the survivors of their ruined ship, Gav dragged everyone with him towards the Eastern District, where after a series of months of playing vigilante, he was invited to join the gang in 2011.

There, he made a name for himself as Raith- harbinger of fury. In the Dragons, Gav found certainty in his usefulness, and in turn gained the freedom to exercise his powers over seven years he was there, in ways he had not while at home. The Dragons for a time, Ruri to Shen from before he was King and then even after he was for the two years Gav was there, found an abundance in friends that he did not just have to be friends with because someone else said so or because it was for the sake of politics- he found something genuine- he cherished that, until one day a messenger discovered him years later, and delivered a message that pushed him to go back home.

The death of his mother, grandfather, and capturing of his father- reminded Gav of just why he had been sent away to Oasis in the first place. Maybe it was guilt over realizing how comfortable he had become in Oasis despite how terrible things were back home, or maybe it was something else. Whatever it was, without revealing much, like he had for years, he was there one day- leaving goodbyes the next. He vanished in 2017, the Raith of the Dragons disappearing with him.

For a year Gav maintained contact with his friends overseas when he was back in Bethall, but that was shortlived. His letters became less frequent. The video chats became less common- and then one day he just stopped sending messages or replying altogether. Three years of radio silence, and he had implied that he was fighting something back home. Something big.

Anyone could have assumed the worst.

Three years later though, here he is back. Fresh off the port. Returning to The Dragons, no longer like he once was.
    RELATIONSHIPS

Ruriko: Knew Ruri from Rookie years, they clicked pretty quickly and maintained contact even after he left. The two were close, close enough that Gav even knew Shumei and Shen and interacted with them on some level regularly. When he left, he didn't do it in person. Leaving Ruriko a message that he was glad to have been her friend and was glad to have known her. She was one of the first people he contacted when he got back to Bethall safely. She was one of the last people he talked to. Has no idea he has returned.

Shen: Knew Shen before he was the King of the Dragons, and was there for a brief period of time after. He finds Shen's friendly atmosphere partially grating but despite not entirely liking or dislike Shen Gav, congratulated the new king on his success when he became King, however privately- never liked what he did to his cousin to take the title- and still hasn't forgotten it to this day. To say he dislikes Shen would be a lie, but he doesn't adore him either. Certainly not to the level Ruriko came to, but has never shown it or made these feelings personally known.

Kairong: Trained with Kairong not long after joining the Dragons. Considers him his mentor, spiritually guider- and one of the people that set him on the path to being so quick to jump the gun.

Tall with long white hair and aquatic blue eyes, she has a athletic build and typically sports on summer clothes, though there are occasions where she will be found wearing a white dress, usually for events where she is representing her family or her parents company.
    PERSONALITY
On the surface, Noa is nice, polite and friendly with just about most people, she usually acts more than she thinks, which practically made her become a highly experienced improvisor as a result. Despite Noas act first think later nature, she is pretty intelligent and loves physical activities, especially swimming and soccer. Being a member of the Aquanaut family, she was practically expected to know how to swim and be good at it as well, she also is noted to have a vast amount of knowledge on marine animals and has a bit of experience with business and security. However Noa has a burning hatred for Snakes and a dislike for Tigers and Dragons, but when it comes to the Phoenixs she typically likes to forge strong bonds with them and push them to get stronger every day. Notably having her own little friendship groups, who she favors and works with the most, she is loyal to the friends in her friendship circle but is a bit more indifferent to her more run in the mil friends who she doesn't know as well. Though Noa typically sports a feisty and tomboyish attitude, she does love a good joke and likes a good reference from show, though she only really gets the most popular references. She hates HPs that bully NPs, especially for no good reasons, she has been practicality noted to save NPs and help them get revenge on HPs that have wronged them, though she does have her price.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Noa belongs to they Aquanaut family, where she has one sister and a brother, both HPs along with their parents. The Aquanaut family is a rich family who owns Aquaworld Resorts, a company devoted to protecting the oceans and marine wild life, they have been noted to own Aquaworld Amusement Park, a theme park noted for their rides, food area and rescued marine animals that make their home there. Noa has lived in a underwater mansion close to Central and the South, and is mostly home schooled by private tutors. Noa had always enjoyed going to her families amusement park and knows just about ever marine animal, they even got to know just about all the marine animals at their families park and has become personally fond of the otters, and eventually adopted a family of them for her to take care of at home. As she grew older she became more invested in their families company, and started to work closely with the Security department of their company, she learned that most of the companies security issues stemmed from chaotic HPs, dealing with them became a frustrating task for them, and they eventually took a more hands on approach to it, personally banning and kicking out unruly HPs, typically after they were given the power from 5 -10 other HPs that were under her security detail.

Noa wasn't really fond of the gangs especially the Sable Serpents who caused a lot of trouble for her and her company, she originally wanted to work independently from the gangs, wanting nothing to do with them. But after the Scarlet Phoenix's took over Central, Noa was convinced by a Childhood friend who just happened to be a Pheonix to join them. She was reluctant at first, but figured that having the most dominate gangs support would help them keep the Snakes and Tigers at bay, after joining she quickly became a notable member, for her name and power. Once she reached Veteran Status she founded her own group known as the Firebirds, though it mostly consisted of NPs who weren't official Phoenix's, but they did help Noa out by giving them information within the south and central.

Since becoming a Phoenix she opened her own Tattoo Parlor in the South, well known for Tattoo making, and the Specialty Tattoos that she sells, the Specialty Tattoos were occasionally used to help NPs get Revenge on any HP that has wronged them, which got them the name Poena as a result, but there are other most innocent reasons for these Tattoos as well. The prices of her specialty Tattoos vary on the Reason, Length of Time Activation Time, and how long the persons wishes to have the Tattoo, she has become notable for helping people get revenge or get the advantage they need to beat someone for sure. While Noa is noted to get missions assigned to them done, she hasn't been noted to do things herself many times.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Helva Linxal - Noa and Helva are Childhood friends, the Linxal and Aquanaut family are noted to be very close, just about akin to best friends. Helva was also the main one to introduce them to the Scarlet Phoenix and eventually joined after being convinced by her.

Boba LaVeau - One of the few people she has ever Sponsored into the Phoenixes, to Noa she is a Quirky lady but who in the Phoenixes isn't? she likes her a lot as someone who can get things done and for keeping her company.

(NPC) Kyshoden Alveshto (Týr) - Their Phoenix bodyguard, whenever it comes to their work as a Phoenix Kyshoden is there by her side, ensuring the safety and security of Noa.

Potential: Danger Sense - They can sense nearing danger, acute danger, potential immediate danger, or impending danger and sense unwanted or hectic threats to their well-being with enough time to react to it and possibility evade it.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Damian is a tall young man that wears a smile more often than not. His pitch-black eyes pair well with his dark hair and piercings, but they greatly contrast his slightly pale skin.
    PERSONALITY
Instead of being guided by a moral compass, Damian is a person completely driven by curiosity. He chases whatever peaks his interest and will continue to indulge himself until he's eventually satisfied. Whether something is right or wrong is inconsequential. The only thing that ever matters is what he wants.

Because he spent a large portion of his life isolated from the world, there are some things about society Damian still doesn't understand. While he isn't exactly dumb, his ignorance about certain things can make him come across as a bit airheaded at times. However, he is eager to fill in the blanks.

Having no inhibitions, he speaks his mind freely at all times. He'll approach anyone without reservation, regardless of their attitude toward him or others. Even if he's treated with disdain, it never has any effect on his oddly friendly demeanor. He'll continue to walk around with a smile, no matter what happens around him.

Because he doesn't object to much, Damian is a very easy person to get along with. He rarely judges anyone for their actions or personality, accepting anything that comes his way. The only time he takes an issue with someone is if they try to place him under their control.

Damian greatly values his freedom. Anyone that threatens it is an enemy, and he'll show little hesitation to remove any obstacle in his way. However, if he's amused or intrigued enough by the idea, he's fine with taking orders and playing along. It all comes down to how he's feeling.

He's extremely capricious, and it's hard to predict his actions. Even though he lays everything bare for all to see, it can be difficult to figure out what goes on in his head. At times, his curiosity can be endearing and almost childlike, and his limitless acceptance can be seen as a virtue. However, it's clear that something isn't right with him, and his good traits can come off as unnerving.

Because he's entirely motivated by curiosity, he can perform acts of cruelty without a second thought. He never does so solely out of a desire to cause harm, but he has no objection to it if it's a byproduct of something else. It's nothing to him.

While he's normally unflappable, Damian is vulnerable to reminders of his time as a lab rat, particularly enclosed spaces. Suffering from extreme claustrophobia, he is prone to destructive outbursts when he feels trapped. He loses his sense of self, running wild and destroying everything around him until the suffocating feeling ends.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
His earliest memories are of being poked and prodded at by figures dressed in all white. Isolated from the rest of the world, he was kept under lock and key as a research subject for individuals who were desperate for knowledge pertaining to homo potentialis. Due to his regenerative capabilities, he proved to be a wellspring of valuable materials and was often harvested. Always under heavy sedation, he was never able to lift a finger, forced to endure being treated as a lab rat.

Whenever he wasn't under the knife, he was kept inside a room completely devoid of light. It was cold and cramped, no better than a coffin. The only thing that kept him from completely losing himself and being consumed by his own thoughts was the sound of a small radio. It was his sole source of stimulation, feeding him information about a world he'd never known.

Desperate to block out the echoes of terror-inducing sounds and voices, as well as his own thoughts, he focused entirely on whatever came through the little black box. Music soothed him, talk shows made him feel less alone, and news broadcasts helped him learn about what went on in the world beyond the walls. All of these things brought him comfort, but they also reminded him of his harsh reality.

Because the radio allowed him to better understand the passage of time, he realized just how long he'd been trapped. He'd spent years confined to a single space, only ever seeing the light when being cut apart or fed food through a slot. It was a never-ending cycle, and he was desperate to see all the things he'd heard about with his own eyes. Having almost no chance of realizing that dream, the radio brought him almost as much despair as it did comfort.

Eventually, a sudden change shook up the previously unchanging pattern in his life. While someone was usually responsible for replacing the radio's batteries whenever they ran low, there came a day when the sound stopped permanently. Everything else continued as normal, but his lifeline to the outside world had been completely cut, leaving him with nothing.

Without the radio, he only had his thoughts as company. They were never good thoughts, and he was tormented by his own mind. It always felt like he was suffocating, overwhelmed by darkness and silence. The threads that'd been held together by the little black box suddenly snapped, and he reached a point of no return.

The drugs used to keep him docile lost their effectiveness as he entered a panic-induced frenzy. He forced his way out of his prison and tore through anything that entered his line of sight, including the people who'd kept him entombed. By the time he finally calmed down, there was nothing but red-stained rubble around him. However, he didn't have any interest in the aftermath of his rampage. All he cared about was his first view of the night sky.

After escaping captivity, he was free to do whatever he chose. Instead of trying to trace his origins, connect with family, or discover how he'd ended up in such a terrible situation, he set off to do whatever seemed like fun. Naming himself Damian, he wandered New Oasis and went after anything that peaked his curiosity. He learned as much as he could about the world and chased experiences never made available to him. For a time, he even chose to masquerade as a student after claiming uniforms from unfortunate citizens.

As he often caused a fuss during his travels, intentionally or otherwise, he inevitably crossed paths with the city's other troublemakers, including the Sable Serpents. Thinking that joining up with the murderous, drug dealing group could be fun, he inserted himself into the gang by showing up one day while wearing black clothes, claiming that he'd always been there.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Kinsley: One of the oldest targets of his boundless curiosity. Damian has had a keen interest in Kinsley and her Potential ever since she joined the Sable Serpents. Fascinated by her symbiote and its displays of individuality, he spends a great deal of time around her, even going as far as to show up on her doorstep unannounced whenever the mood strikes him. His curiosity aside, he's developed a certain fondness for the two of them on account of their shared history as lab rats.

Peyton: A fellow lab rat that Damian enjoys observing on account of the young man's mutated Potential. They spent a fair amount of time together prior to Peyton's defection, but the current Dragon's status has had no impact on Damian's opinion of him. Compared to the start of their relationship, he's noticed that he and Peyton get along better these days, and Damian is even willing to provide rides by hoisting him up with his tentacles.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A tall man with long, grey hair and stark, amber eyes. He sports two pairs of horns that curve forwards, and a long, reptilian tail. He is lean and fit, and cuts a fairly intimidating figure in a black uniform, though his fairly androgynous appearance may undercut his intimidation factor, just a little bit.
    PERSONALITY

Inigo believes in justice, and justice alone. However, his time in New Oasis has corrupted that view somewhat- no matter how hard he tries, no matter how much evidence, how much testimony he can drudge up from endless investigations, he will never win. Knowing this, his beliefs have shifted drastically, now acknowledging that means are justified by their ends, and that, a twisted, warped, plagued land such as New Oasis cannot be tamed through by-the-book procedures alone. Described as a loose cannon, Inigo has, time and time again, pulled rank and taken out a squad of officers to make his arrests, with or without justification for his hunches. He is the kind to kick down the door first, book everyone in the room, then ask questions later. He has blatantly disregarded direct orders from top brass to pursue his prey, if only to inconvenience the latter. Whatever dent he can make to the evils of this land, he will make it.

As a person, Inigo is curt and terse, and is a staunch believer of actions speaking louder than words, at least from his side. He's not too sociable, and struggles outwardly to befriend others, not from lack of trying though. He does try his best, but he often comes off as severe and tense, and a little bit of a workaholic. He doesn't have much going on in his life other than work, and it shows in his conversation topics. Outside of barking orders, reading out rights, or discussing work-related things, he clams up. He desperately wants to be part of a group, though- on his free time, he tries out things that his colleagues and what few social interactions he has have brought up in an unrelated conversation. He doesn’t always do well in these things, and he doesn’t want to talk about his endeavors until he has succeeded in them. When it isn't related to actual work, he is kind of a klutz, and it occasionally shows.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Han Beom-seok came from a troubled place. His parents were members of an off-shoot branch of the Kkangpae that rooted itself in Amestria. Known as the Saengsacho, the small community warred with other gangs, seeking control and protection of their own immigrant peoples in Amestria. Han Dong-suk, Beom-seok's father, was one lieutenant of the Saengsacho, and when he wasn't looking behind his back for rival tried members, he was watching out for the greedy members in his own gang. He barely spent much time with Beom-seok, even at his youth. His mother, Han Mi-young, was helping his father run the gang herself, and that only left Inigo with his grandparents, and, once he got older, his friends.

His displeasure with his parents’ activities only festered and grew over time, and when he graduated from college, his friends suggested that they applied for police academy together. In a bid to at least earn some attention for his parents, negative or positive, he went along with it. They were displeased, of course, and threatened to disown him. He cursed them. What good was purportedly doing this for their people, if they did nothing for their own blood? What good was it when all they were doing was sowing chaos, killing people, and making their people seem like savages in Amestria? It did nothing to help them or their people. Always glancing behind them, always paranoid, always worried and anxious that their time might be up. What good was all of it? He did not wait for them to discard him like a dirty rag, he left on his own accord.

His acceptance to the academy took some time, mired by his relationship to Dong-suk, and by the time he convinced them that he was fully out of the Han family’s activities and wanted nothing to do with them, his friends were already halfway through to graduation. Left behind, he could only stand on his own two feet, persevering on his own to the end of his courses. It wasn’t easy- Inigo was never the physical type. He often served as the face of the trio of friends- Ferdinand was the brawn, and Vincenzo was the brain. He wasn’t going to give up, however. Through grueling training sessions amidst cramming all the knowledge into his head, he built himself up, block by block. Ferdinand and Vincenzo left the academy during this time, and they were later deployed to some podunk island called New Oasis. He was nearing his end of his academy years when he received the news.

Both of his friends died in the line of duty.

Incensed, furious, Inigo, as he now called himself, worked even harder. He did not make the top of the list, but he was pretty damn close. When given the choice of his deployment, he immediately answered. He would go to their place of death, he would see for himself what hell they had placed themselves in, and he would carve into the ground his legacy of cleansing the scum that polluted the earth of New Oasis.

He had expected it to be bad. He had expected it to be a terrible place. He had expected corruption, drugs, prostitution, all of that. What he was met with was his expectations, magnified by ten times. The police’s power was impotent in the face of the four warring gangs that threatened to tear the island apart. This was some sort of sick game to someone. Over time, what remained of his innocence began to fray, but his resolve strengthened, as more and more people, both cops and civilians fell around him. He discovered that playing by the rulebook was no longer effective, and started down the path of brutality. Though his methods were considered maverick and unorthodox, they brought results that were previously unprecedented in the NOPD. Most would rather he play it safe- he will not. His life was made a nightmare because of this very thing. No one should ever suffer this ever again. He will reform New Oasis, he will bring a new dawn, and he will do it, come hell or high water.

He was recently promoted from Detective to Sergeant, and has earned a moniker amongst his peers for his own quote of ‘hell or high water’. Locked in a room with him, there is virtually no escape, after all- prison is their hell, and he is that high water.

Han Mi-young: Mother. Estranged. Hates her.

Vincenzo Clarke: Close friend of Inigo's from childhood. Deceased. One of the few reasons for Inigo's pursuit of justice.

Ferdinand Aberdeen: Close friend of Inigo's from childhood. Deceased. One of the few people that gives him the will to carry on on his duty.

    He's just... The Worst
    Home District
    North District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Raph's hair is jet-black and shoulder length. It frames his face. He has a widow's peak. His eyes are grey, except when they're not. They are the kind of eyes, which, if ever put to painting, would probably follow you around the room. He'd probably pay extra for that. Raphael is tall, and lean, and probably a bit feral. His posture ranges from regal and elegant to stooped, savage, and hungry. Aside from the grey skin and general air of malevolence, he's fairly average. Not to mention dashingly handsome.
    PERSONALITY
He is, in a word, The Worst™. Ruthless, willful, cold, ambitious, and cunning. He knows no loyalty but to himself. While he tries to maintain and exude a sense of calm and control over his surroundings, when things do not go his way, his usual response is to become childishly flippant. His behavior at times can become very mercurial, and can become incredibly petty over seemingly trivial slights. Above all, he despises any form of rule or restraint and is ravenously pursuing more and more freedom for himself. He will do absolutely anything to maintain and expand his own personal freedoms, and visit upon those who try to contain him as much torment and misery as he can muster.

“Let me be, I'm sure, the first to commend you. I bet you didn't think you'd last this long.” Said sarcastically to Bash regarding Bash’s rank as Ace in Arc 1, Friends in Low Places.

“That's right. That's right! Let's go, right here.” Raphael’s thoughts as he tried to instigate a fight with Bash in Arc 1, Friends in Low Places.

“Die.~” Raphael’s thoughts just before he tried to attack Anna in Arc 1, Friends in Low Places.

“If I lost you I'd just follow the trail of bodies.” Said snarkily to himself about Bash after Bash ran off to find Anna and Darius in Arc 1’s Friend in Low Places.

“Go fuck yourself. But fine.~” Raphael’s thoughts when Bash gave him a thumbs-up and an order upon arrival at Mach Sling in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places.

“Hello, darling.” Says Raphael always. Also Raphael’s first words to August after August initiated a fight with him in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places at Mach Sling.

“You were right, you know~ … I'm not going to kill you because anyone told me to. I'm going to kill you because I want to, darling.” Said to August during their fight in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places.

“Once again, Bash ruins my life. And twice on the same day, no less! How typical.” Raphael’s thoughts after recognizing he might be concussed from his fight with Bash during his fight with August in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places.

“I don't need help. I don't need anyone's help. But more than anything, I don't need your help.” Raphael’s thoughts while Bash was shielding him from the collapsing roof of Mach Sling in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places.

“Bravo, darling. You really... Brought the house down. Said to Anna after the roof collapse at Mach Sling in Arc 1, Friends in Low Places.

“DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU ~” Said to the Tigers at Mach Sling before he threw Vincent’s body through a wall in Arc 1’s Friends in Low Places.

Tsk, tsk, darling… Calm down. If I had wanted to hurt you, I'd have done it already.” Said to Hide during their encounter in Arc 2, The Bounty.

“Easy now, I don't have time to play with you right now. Either explain why you're here, or run along.” Said to Hide during their encounter in Arc 2, The Bounty.

“Say, you're a big fucker, aren't you?” Said to Kyoden when they first met in their B-side, The End’s Beginning.

“Can I help you?” Said not so genuinely to Kyoden during their B-side, The End’s Beginning.

“Don't be cheap, darling.” Said to an NPC bartender when he wasn’t satisfied with the amount of whiskey they poured into his tumbler during the Unlikely Encounter B-side with August.

“Oh, who am I kidding? I loathe loads of things. ~” Raph’s thoughts at one point during his and August’s Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“What are they muttering, hm? Thinking I'm not good enough for a shit-hole like this?” Raphael’s thoughts when he caught sight of an NPC employee at Geronimos discussing something with an NPC manager whilst giving him a side-eye during his Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“I suppose they'll let just anyone in here, hm? ~” Said to August when they ran into each other at Geronimos during their B-side, Unlikely Encounter.

“You know, I ought to kill you, but why don't I buy you a drink instead? It's truly the least I could do.” Said to August during their B-side, Unlikely Encounter.

“You must love to hear yourself speak, mm? You do it enough.” Said to August in their B-side, Unlikely Encounter.

“What does an August look like?” Raph’s thoughts to himself when he learned of August’s name in their B-side, Unlikely Encounter.

“Hmph! Mine tell a story.” Said of his own scars to August in their Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“... What the fuck are you talking about?!” Spoken to August after August came up with a bizarre anecdote as to how Raphael received his scars in their Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“You don't deserve my blood!” Raph’s thoughts about a Tiger NPC he was fighting in his Unlikely Encounter B-side with August.

“That’s such a Tiger thing to do. You’re dealt one bad hand and already you're prepared to fold! Maybe this is news to you, but... Life isn’t a poker table darling. You can’t always walk away when the chips are down.” Said to a Tiger NPC during a scuffle in his Unlikely Encounter B-side with August after the NPC surrendered to spare his friend.

“What the fuck is happening..?” Thought to himself for the fifth but not last time during his Unlikely Encounter B-side with August.

“Shut up, darling.” Said to Anna during their Mutual Assurance B-side.

“How pathetic. ~” Thought about himself when he felt appreciation for August coming back to help him during their B-side, Unlikely Encounter.

“What an absolute shit-hole.” His thoughts about the South District during his Hazardous Chance B-side with Hide.

“And, sure. I know what you're thinking. 'The North District' is no prize, either. And you'd be absolutely right! It's a shit-hole too, but at least it's mine. ~” His internal monologue about the North District during his Hazardous Chance B-side with Hide.

“Enough of this pity-party, you pathetic loser. ~” His thoughts as he slapped himself across the face while trying to figure out why he was so tired in his B-side with Hide, Hazardous Chance.

“Maybe you're just my kind of crazy, after all.” Thought to himself about August during their Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“Slow down, Tiger. You almost went the speed limit just now.” Said to August after they narrowly avoided a car chase with the police in their Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“Get your grubby paws away from me.” Raphael’s thoughts about Orion after Orion tripped him up in their B-side, Troubled Meeting.

“Well, anyway. ~ Despite how terrible you look, I'm afraid I'm not going to make this any easier on you. No pulled punches just 'cause you're already scuffed up. You understand, don't you? ~” Said to Orion in their Troubled Meeting B-side.

“Destroy life, feel alive.” Raphael’s motto in his Carmine Consort B-side with Peyton.

“I want to show you what you’re made of ~” Raphael’s response to an NPC asking him what he wanted in his Carmine Consort B-side with Peyton.

“Hello, darling. Straight to business, then? Already? Not going to ask me about my day? Tut, tut. Your bedside manner could use some work, as always. ~” Said to Sang-Cheol in their B-side, Why Not.

“Eyes on the road, speed demon. Said to a very slow-driving August in their Unlikely Encounter B-side.

“Oh, well. For starters, they have excellent benefits.” Said sarcastically in response to August asking why he joined the Serpents in their Unlikely Encounter B-side.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
Raphael was a recently-emancipated-from-his-deadbeat-parents seventeen year old living alone in a small town outside the city of New Oasis. He had met someone. A boy a few years his senior. They were going out to a bar one night—Raph had the wherewithal at that age to forge a decently passable fake I.D. He was feeling nervous, excited, and—for perhaps the first time in his life—truly free.

Later that night, the man slipped something into Raph’s drink and he was carted off to some unfamiliar holding cell... Surrounded by other trafficked humans that nobody would think to miss.

    And that, love, was that.

Until he survived an experimental procedure that most did not. He was changed... Born a normal human without potential, upon exposure to a certain Snake's miraculous blood... Raphael was changed. He was powerful. He was grateful. But above all else, finally, he was free.
    RELATIONSHIPS
Yuudai: Raph hasn't spent much quality time with the Serpent King. While not exactly one for respecting his elders, Raph bears a grudging fear deference toward his King... Most of the time he tries to stay out of Yuudai's way.

Snake: Snake... Raph owes everything—literally, everything—to him. Without Snake's miracle blood, Raph would still be an NP. A nobody. Snake is one of the few people, perhaps the only person in the world, that Raph feels beholden to, which is as close as Raph can feasibly get to loyalty. Even if he sometimes has a strange way of showing it. He can still be his mouthy self around Snake, but he's quicker to clam up if Snake tells him over just about anytone else. He's a little sore that Snake chose someone other than him to be his Ace.

Delynn: Raph doesn't really care one way or another about Delynn as a person. But he can see bits of himself in her situation. He hopes she sticks it to her parents one day for what they did to her. He might even offer to help.

    Bash: Raph

Darius: Raph finds Darius a bit pathetic, honestly. If one thing could warm Raph up to Darius, it'd be his Potentiality. Raph would love to watch him work his magic on a poor, unsuspecting sod's face someday.

Tri: Raph does not know what to make of Tri. If one day it was revealed that Tri had been an alien all this time, Raph wouldn't exactly be surprised. He's also only half-certain that Tri even knows who he is. Which is all the same to Raph, honestly. They clearly move in different circles.

Anna: What a fucking weirdo. Truth be told, Raph neither needed nor wanted to know a thing about the Gorilla-Masked Rookie from the moment he'd first seen her... And everything he has learned of her since then has been against his will. He knows she's at least passably competent, but beyond that he has nothing nice to say about her. Why the Gorilla Mask?

Sang-Cheol: Raph finds Sang-Cheol fun. He has a hunch that the feeling isn't mutual.

Yeona: Raph likes the way Yeona thinks (as they think almost alike). They probably get on well enough... So long as one's freedom doesn't conflict with the other's.

Kisara: Kind of like a mini-Bash. Only taller. For some reason Kisara's brand of hot-blooded violence is more endearing. Raph can't quite put his finger on why.

Yuto: A buzzing fly that he can't seem to squash. For all his complaining, Raph doesn't necessarily hate Yuto's guts... At least, not as much as he hates other people... He guesses.

Lazy, unmotivated rascal, somehow gets the job done
    Home District
    North District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Eric is a man of average height and lean build, he has long dark hair with evidence of dyeing it blonde long ago at the ends. His face is constantly relaxed and usually refrains from expressing much with it. He likes to wear whatever is comfortable without caring about fashion in the least, that is, whenever he's not being forced to wear his uniform (what a bother)
    PERSONALITY

Eric is, above all else, a human sloth. He is someone who is pretty much only willing to use his relatively high intelligence in order to find the easiest way possible to complete a task. He in fact takes great pride on this, claiming that laziness is the purest drive for creativity.

His general behavior is a very calm one, often reacting to things with explosive reactions such as "Oh" or "huh". He is capable of keeping a cool attitude even in the middle of danger, a result of his ever-growing depression and apathy towards everything and everyone. Overall you'd think he's the kind of person who is in a constant state of casually enjoying life with little-to-no stress, even if in reality it's a slightly different story.

Despite his lazy attitude, however, he is not one to slack off or half-ass things if necessary, such as when law enforcement against criminals is required. This is not to say that he is passionate about his work, though, if anything it's quite the contrary. He strongly believes that New Oasis, in all sincerity, is a lost cause. A place that's rotten to the core by greed, pride and bloodlust. And even if they were to have the best possible intentions, a bunch of guys in blue won't be able to do much to stop it.

Eric is a pretty friendly individual, being able to hold a casual conversation with anyone without much of an issue, and he also has a pretty prevalent and strange sense of humor, often speaking with a particular kind of sarcasm that not many find all that funny, he even takes a bit of pleasure on getting on his friends' nerves. However, he rarely takes enough interest in people to actively engage in interactions, specially with new people. People who actually get to befriend him, though, find a loving, funny and relaxing person to have around.

He is also a man of many a talent and hobbies, such as epic gaming, napping, building scale models, being a master at spelling bee among other things he'd rather not say as to not earn the envy of too many people.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Eric was born in a small, humble town in southern Nordrend, but this was pretty short lived, as his Half-Amestrian father decided to take his family back with him to live in the city of New Oasis. Ever since he was a young boy, Eric had one wish: To be like his dutiful and passionate father, who spent everyday patrolling the streets of the city while enforcing the law and protecting the weak.

His childhood and adolescense passed, for the most part, in a very uneventful way. Or at least, as normal as living in the incredibly dangerous North District could be, it was a great thing that he was an HP, and one with quite the good ability to boot (at least in comparison to the majority of useless ones). If anything, the danger tempered him into a tough youngster ready to follow the footsteps of his Dad.

Everything went smoothly in his life, and finally, he moved to Central District and joined the NOPD.

And that was pretty much it. There wasn't really much else to talk about. He gave it his all everyday in order to uphold peace and stop criminals, becoming one of the most promising rookies the police had ever seen...But in the end, this didn't really go anywhere.

Was the city becoming safer? Not really.

Were the ranks among the gangs getting thinner? Not at all.

Was his home district of North getting any better compared to when he was but a child? What a joke.

It all remained the same, no matter how much he worked, no matter how much he fought. For every person saved, another one was getting killed, for any heist stopped, another one was successful.

A year passed, and things remain the same...Then another year, and another...And another.

    It was all

    the fucking

    Same.

Cue 2022, Eric was now a hardened veteran with serveral years under his belt. But where once lied a burning will to make people safe and his father proud, was now home of nothing but flickering embers. He had contemplated different options: Relocating to another department, getting another job, or even leaving the city altogether... But never did any of that, he just remained the way he had to this point, just going through the motions. After all, what was even the point?

    Nothing fucking mattered anymore.
    RELATIONSHIPS

    NOPD:

    Tetsuya Tsuchiya:
A weird fellow, always going around and doing things on his own, Eric doesn't understand him much, but he finds him amusing and appreciates his presence

Inigo Han: Eric's fellow officer, patrolling partner and complete foil. Back a couple years ago when they were assigned together, they would very often clash due to their contrasting personalities. Yet despite that, Eric holds a great deal of respect for Inigo and his passion for their work.

Nakazayo Chikage: Eric's boss, despite the fact that he always gets on Chikage's nerves due to his unenthisiasm and trying to get things done the easy way, Eric respects Chikage and is well aware that the city would be an even worse cesspool were he not around to whip everyone into shape and give orders.

    OTHERS:

    Passeri Park:
Eric's old highschool classmate, they never really spoke directly, but he is aware of her previous identity being that of Brandy Baker, has bought some of her albums.

Katya Evensen: Eric's cousin, she moved to his apartment in New Oasis a few months for work reasons. They've been close and on great terms ever since they were little. Eric enjoys her company and is thankful for having someone that can help around.

Kiwi Bonheur: Eric met Kiwi through online gaming around 4 years ago, they kept a pretty simple online friendship until they eventually decided to meet in real life. They're good friends that hang out occasionally and have a special affinity for enjoying each others' odd sense of humor.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
He's a tall guy standing 6'01'' and weighing 170lbs. His hair is dyed pink and he's always wearing sunglasses, originally meant to hide his potential when it's in use, but now because he thinks it looks cool. He has a lot of piercings - on his ears, tongue, bellybutton, etc.
    PERSONALITY
Zach's personality can be described as flamboyant, over-the-top, and maybe a little crazy depending on how you look at it. The boy is a daredevil. Unless we're talking killing babies in their sleep, there isn't much he isn't willing to do if someone dares/challenges him to do so. He'd had sex because of dares. Killed because of dares. If he sees something new, Zach just has to try it. He likes experimenting with new styles and his views on beauty are a little unorthodox. It's not that he isn't aware of conventional beauty. He just likes challenging the status quo as a beautician.

Zach is mischievous. He enjoys causing trouble and teasing others, but is not necessarily mean-spirited (unless you get him angry) and generally doesn't continue to press buttons if he realizes he's taking it too far (unless he hates you). There's a certain sort of rebelliousness about him that kind of teeters the line, but rarely falls through (unless he's extremely upset).

Despite his flirtatiousness (he is bisexual), Zach is a romantic at heart. He is passionate about love and if he finds someone to affix his feelings to, he'd remain dedicate and loyal to their death. Serenades, gifts, if he likes someone they'll definitely know it. He'd shout their name to the Heavens and beyond-very cringe. He also laughs alot. And, despite his careless attitude he's also strongly loyal - both to his biological family and his Phoenix one. Kill for family? Sure. He's an older brother in a large family and does carry that protective streak around him, always 'watching' out for the kids when dad isn't around. He knows how to change nappies.

Beneath his wierdness and tendency for dramatics, Zach is smarter than he appears and does have a calculating mind when it comes to the things he wants. When working with the Scarlet Phoenixes, his potential and general awareness of his surroundings generally has him working as a sniper, operator, or field controller. Communicating with his allies is critical for putting them where they need to be if often critical for a successful murder operation, so he's usually very social and easy-going...except when he's not. A carefree jokester he may be, but Zach does possess the burning passion that got him into the Scarlet Phoenixes in the first place. Said passion can lead to bit of impulsiveness and volatility when triggered (like when Lyric called him a coward for not prescribing to her ambition), hence his small "break" from the gang.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Born in the West District to the Clifton and Clarissa Locke, Zach had always been a outlier amongst his wealthy peers. A rulebreaker. The restraints of finer society never suited him and he always looked to challenge them; Whether it be befriending the "dirty slum" kids, ditching school to play hooky, or other scandalous behaviors. Zach constantly tested the patience of his parents with his rebellious attitude, which, oddly enough, made him quite "popular" with the preppy, rich kids. However, he'd never quite gathered the courage to do anything that would get him disowned. He loved his family too much. In contrast to him, Elias Yumin was the "perfect prince" at school - someone who never seemed to do anything wrong and was well liked by everyone...except Zach. As his potential developed, Zach began to realize that something was wrong with the people around the young Yumin. He confronted Elias. For one reason or another (that he can't remember) they ended up becoming friends as a result. Best of buds during their elementary days despite their differences. Then, one day, Clifton and Clarissa's business went under (possibly an encounter with a certain npc 😏), causing the fall of the Locke family to bankruptcy.

-> At 13, he transferred to a school in the south district, experiencing a period of homelessness and poverty until his parents managed to get themselves back on their feet. His father did construction work. Even his mother (who had never worked in her life) had to work multiple jobs to keep the 7 children (some of which were still babes) fed. Lots of family problems occurred as result. His parents argued daily. As the oldest child, Zach did everything he could to keep his family together. However, despite his best efforts, his mother eventually left his father for another (richer) man.

->At, 16 he joined the Scarlet Phoenixes--after finding a sponsor and enduring a rigorous trial--because the jobs paid well, even though it often involved killing; All to support his biological family, after all. As a rookie, he was given the alias Hawk because he had 'eyes like a Hawk', which he used to support any team/mission he was assigned. He was given a pair of sunglasses to hide his use of his potential, which he still keeps to this day. It was during this time that Zach's potential blossomed (X-ray vision, night-vision, etc)...and was still blossoming. Or, at least, Zach was still hoping that laser beams would one day come from his Gods' Eye(s). It was also during this time that Zach experienced what true family was supposed to be like. Every death he caused in the name of the Scarlet Phoenixes stained his hands. However, there was a certain bond with fellow killers who did what they had to together...and blood washed away easily enough. His biological family lived better as well.

--> After graduating high school (18), Zach had made enough money to attend Cosmetology school, something he'd always been interested in but had nearly given up because his former mother would've never approved. Fortunately, his classes didn't interfere with Phoenix jobs. They were quick and easy as well. Eight months later, Zach obtained his beautician's license and opened his own small beauty salon in the South District. Being his own boss allowed him to work whenever he wanted and continue to do jobs for the Scarlet Phoenix (which he still considered his main job).

-> During the time that the Phoenixes occupied central (which he participated in 6 years ago), he got into a debate with Lyric about what it means to be family. He didn't like the direction they were going and he felt the King's ambitions were taking them too far. Lyric didn't just want Central. She wanted all of New Oasis and beyond. However, all Zach saw was the death of the 'family members' her ambitions would ultimately cost them; He saw the sorts of power-hungry people Lyric was pushing her 'family' to become. Nasty words were exchanged. Zach didn't leave the gang, but his dissatisfaction was as clear as day. Hawk became less active in the gang, gradually starting to pull away...without actually doing so since he wasn't allowed to without being dead. Zach had even started to hate the gang that restricted his freedom a little.

--> Then, as if a message sent by God, a hurricane happened. He took that opportunity to disappear for a bit. Closed his shop. He even cut ties with his biological family (since he didn't want them to be subject to the Scarlet Phoenix wrath). Most phoenixes thought he died...though the ones the know him probably knew better. He took a time off clear his head and cool his anger. Wandering to the East District (just because), Zach hopped from bed to bed and strip clubs to strip club because...fun? Sex didn't require much thinking. Zach dyed his brown hair pink and hid his identity (as much as he could) from Azure Dragons, going under the name "Lu", though the East District's gangsters were happy to ignore him so long as he didn't cause trouble. "Lu" even did some jobs as a freelance escort because some of his sex friends dared him to.

-->During the time that Lu wandered from brothel to brothel, he fell in love with Jun Azuza, who was a brothel worker at the time, and became a regular at Eternal Night Palace.

-->Saw everything that happened to Phoenixes from bridge to other bridge and decided to end his vacation since family was still family. He tells people that believed he died from the hurricane that like the Great Phoenix that he is, he rose from the ashes. He reopened 'Zach's Beauty Parlor' in the South District.

(Screw details. This is all you're getting)
    RELATIONSHIPS
Elias Yumin: "Best friends" during childhood/elementary days. Zach used to have a crush on him until he came to realize their friendship was a product of false memories.

Meirin Azuza: The little sister of the person he loves. He think's she's cute (in the little sister sort of way)

Jun Azuza (NPC): He's in love with her...and because of this, may have played a part in a certain veteran Dragon's death.

    Phoenix Sponsor: ????

TBA. More to be added later.

Background noise. Gets the job done when you least expect it.
    Home District
    North District | West District
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Dante's of a leaner build than most HP in his "line of work", more natty and unassuming under his usual outfit—unimposing be it not for his height— though he does bear a fair amount of muscle under all of it. His jet-black hair is mid-length and lustrous, parted down the middle, styled in a long undercut that cascades down in a drape. His eyes are sharp and of an artificial grey that blinks to an interval of yellow every so often, whenever he steps into dimmer light. Face-wise, he does keep his handsome, missing nay a blemish nor any imperfection, though he does have somewhat prominent eye bags.

The rookie is more often than not seen donning a neutral, invitingly dull expression over his face; hiding this soul-piercing glare under sunglasses and moppy hair.
    PERSONALITY
At first glance Dante might come off as a hyper relaxed, aloof individual. So apathetic in fact that one may find the contrast between himself and those around him to be rather overwhelming. Though, oddly enough, this calm, detached modesty and stoicism is the alluring thing about him, as most of everyone sees him as someone trustworthy. A right-hand man of sorts, too serious about his 'work' as a debt collector, hitman, bouncer— whatever mess the gang throws him into— Dante seems to always keep this morbid fixation on seeing it through as efficiently as possible. Although this is to some extent true, the reality is that he tends to find some form of detachment from the violence. He knows when to separate thought from action and emotion from service, it's all a blur from beginning to end, blunt and straight to the chase— almost like a professional.

Behind the machine-like work ethic, however, his more humane side shines through. Alone in that 4x4 apartment of his, away from the lowlifes and gang members, Dante is just the usual law-abiding citizen. A wisecrack, reserved man that regularly engages in trivial small talk with the cute girl behind the counter on his morning trips to the local coffee shop. He can't catch a good night's sleep without his 8:00 PM cereal ritual, he can't leave to buy his groceries before feeding the two strays in his patio. Kind, patient, compassionate, empties the ten's and five's inside his wallet for the homeless and sits outside on a plastic chair like an oldman looking out for his neighbors.

Just a simple, unassuming man that works his extra rounds at the ink galore he runs.

Out of each side of his coin, not even he himself knows which one is the red masque of death and which is not.

Aside from all of this, his psyche suffers greatly from the side effects of his potentiality. To almost psychopathic ends, his emotions are shaky. He struggles with the lack of remorse behind the violent acts he commits— the beatings, the killing, the stealing— all of it creates a hard friction between the fact that he enjoys it and the reason why he does all of it in the first place. He harbors severe guilt over all the things he's done, the thing's he's willing to do to make ends meet, and the things he couldn't make right.

This guilt, regard for human life and even the sheer instinct for self-preservation within him seems to banish when his potentiality flares up. When the wolves come out.
    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

North Oasis was one mess and a half. Still is, far as he knows.

Dante was the older sibling in a family of five, living day by day somewhere near the very slums, in-and-out of some rundown motel his mom ran and his father's workshop.

He remembered the very innards of both places. Hoarse voices thrown around, bouncing off the walls. The usual hopscotch here and there with the mixed accent. Tearing into his hand with the tools, grease lines in his other hand. The roar of an engine drowning out his very thoughts.

    That type of stuff.

Mom was out of it for the most part, Dad wasn't any better, but they'd been kind enough to zone him out whenever they could. Gave him the freedom no child should have, that was, up until they needed him. His mother would more often than not set him up in her "trading business." Door-to-door movie delivery, she called it. He'd go around dragging a bag bigger than himself, sagging behind like he was carrying half a pig chopped up inside. Needless to say, that wasn't much of a pretty look for anyone in the force. It became his morning routine in a sense, his feet thumping hard as he ran from one street to another, the sweaty hands of the freaks he would deliver his mother's "trade," getting an inch too close with every exchange of the money. Like they wanted a piece of him too.

By the fourth delivery he'd already connected dots, figured out exactly what he'd been carrying around these past few weeks. At the time it wasn't rocket science, really. He had ears. He could hear the cartridges rattling around inside the bag, he could hear his mom delivering the most cliche 90's "entertainment flicks" lines at the darker hours of the night, when pops was out drinking.

It was one of the things you'd never want one of your friends to find out about. End up being the laughing stock for the rest of the school year, have to curb the memory out of a kid, etcetera, etcetera…

It was her own inventive way of working corners without having to leave the house, he figured. At least it was better than having those lowlifes pay a visit to the motel at night.

His father's jobs weren't all that exciting either. Up until his fifteen's, when he'd hit his big stretch, Dante had been rather small for his age. And his father knew exactly how to put those qualities to their best use. He could blend in at night easier than his old man could, fit nice through pet doors, open bathroom windows and half-opened garage doors. Above all else, little Dante could sneak around a house like a bastard. The threat of taking the beating of your life awoke certain skills within you, his genius in particular just so happened to be burglary.

It was in those small spurs of action in-between midsummer vacation, breaking into houses in the dark, that Dante learned that the shadows were calling to him. He would see figures stalking, yellow orbs blurring past the corner of his eye, full-fang, pearly white grins beaming at him in the corner of the room. But he was never afraid of them. Rather, the darkness guided him to the safety of the pitch-black, shadowy corners. Where not a single soul could take advantage of him.

The years went by, and after he hit his growth, mom and dad had little to no use for him anymore.

One day his mother must've gotten just about as fed up as he was, so it wasn't that much of a shocker when she went off on his dad. She'd always been the stereotypical, docile housewife. Kissing her husband on the cheek as he was heading out to "work," dinner ready before he came back— she was quiet about it. Like she was waiting for someone to pull her trigger. And up till the day he dies, he'll always find the memory of that volcano going off to be something to marvel at. The ferocity in which this silent, passive woman chased after his dad, akimbo with a pair of kitchen knives in each hand. As if years of pent up rage built up into that one spike of adrenaline for her.

Dante more or less stood there in the curb, half-eaten pb&j sandwich in hand, watching them run off into the next street as the houses they passed by lit up. It was an almost comedic spectacle for him. For his little brother and sister, Nina and Damian, not so much. They sat behind him sobbing as the screams of their dad drew further and further away, the hollers of some of the neighbors enjoying the show just as much as he was mixed in-between.

From what he’s heard, old man never managed to round another street before she'd already had a big open loop drawn red on his neck. By the time he hit the ground she was up and on him like a trained assassin. That was, more or less, the most effort he'd ever seen his mother put into something. After that the waters got a hell of a lot more turbulent, on his mother's end of the stick that is. He tried to play the dumb innocent child act to save the poor woman from a lifetime behind bars, but lo', Dante was sent off to a foster home along with his siblings. His mother was locked away, he hasn't seen her since.

Never did the thought of visiting her ever cross his mind anyway.

The next few years were so quiet that he doesn't recall much of anything, really. His adoptive parents weren't that big of a memory for him. They were nice, religious, good people that would never lash out on them the way his biological parents would. Every time he'd walk in through that front door, no beats missed, there'd always be this palpable sense of surprise he couldn't quite register— even though they were just plain old hey's and good mornings, it still made him crack a silly grin at just how cheesy these people were.

He knew every time he set foot into that house that his brother and sister would be raised like good people.

It was the type of freedom no teenager should have. Freedom from consequence. Freedom from duty. So— dare he say— he tried to push those boundaries, far as he could. Dante wanted a bite of it.

A week or two shy before the hurricane struck, young Dante took his foster parent's wheels and left it all behind, drove as far away as he could from the northern district. No attachments left for him to slam the brakes at a stop sign and make second guesses, no, he was alone and free. He left central, somewhere past the south district, and therein the west he crashed the damned thing on a public beach in the middle of the night. The ocean lazily reaching out for the shores ahead of him, the car purring as it was flipped on its nose between a concrete wall and the sand. Even in that mess, Dante belly laughed like a maniac for the first time.

That was what he lovingly calls the peak of his life. He was free back then.

Adulthood never hit him as hard as it should've.

He'd set himself up an ink shop with a friend back in the north, something nice and simple in the West District. You'd have random people bent over on the chair with their dignity up in the air as the artists worked on them, the same artist having some sort of a knockdown-drag-out with themselves as the eyes struggled to focus out of a slumber. A man coming in, bare-chest, red-eyed with tears wanting to ink the name of his newest lover on his heart. It was nice and quiet without the dullness, and it paid well.

Paradise, for a man like him. But that little exception didn't last long.

He kept in contact with Nina and Damian throughout the years. It went from anonymous calls pretending to be a friend, to false usernames and even hanging around with them from time to time while they were heading back home from school. Damian was his own little admirator in the shadows. Even when he was doing the most heinous things for their father, the kid still looked up to him. He’d always seen Dante as this cool, delinquent older brother that never cracked under the pressure, always cold and stoic. Never afraid of anything, unlike him

By the time Dante had his brother on the other end of the line, ugly crying on the phone, the fuckers were already storming his place. When he woke up from the beating, he was tied up in a dark room, some detective noir shit— lightbulb dangling from the ceiling and everything. There were voices. Shouting, demanding something from him. He couldn't make out a single bark from them, only sharp ringing in his ear. A voice, figures stalking the shadows, rounding corners in the room. Then one of the crooks snapped him awake with a kick to the groin. Dante became a punching bag for the crooks after the fourth hit.

The tyrant kings of the western district, the Albino Tigers. He never got the full extent of it, but somehow Damian had ended up involved with them. Had a gigantic, long overdue debt with them, rather. An overdue debt that he’d somehow managed to get Dante mixed in. He told them his older brother, the fearless criminal, could pay his debt if they gave him some time.

The tigers painted the choices clear for them. He either doubled what his brother owed, or they would come back to finish the deal.

From that point onward, Dante began working for the Albino Tigers.

His potentiality only grew stronger after the first few jobs, it started taking over him.

Cleo Silva, mostly known as Silva, is a tall, athletic man of 6'3" and 220 pounds, a large portion of that weight being a result of the steel lower-half of his body. His prosthetic legs. Due to his recent waking from a ten-month coma, he might appear much thinner to those who knew him before said coma, having lost a majority of his muscle mass from the slumber.

He is olive-skinned with 'PLUS ULTRA' tattooed in bold black down his left arm, and boasts eyes of pear-green in color. His hair, often covered by an aviator cap of sorts, is of a long crew-cut of tousled brown that he sprays different colors with cheap, over-the-counter Halloween cosmetic spray, wafting the distinct stench of chemicals that never fails to take those down-wind by the breath. Chiseled and stubble-chinned, his face is most often masked and rarely seen by the public, as well as the upper portion of his face covered with thick, color-tinted goggles which also pair as corrective lenses. Without them, he cannot see but the world a blur.

When removed---his mask and goggles, that is---scars from nicks to gashes can be seen to layer his face like a chopping block, but they don't take away from his messy charm. His teeth, when bared, are jagged and sharp, earning him the nickname "Sharkface" during his fresh parkour days. As for his wardrobe, he mostly wears baggy shorts or cut-off pants, tied at the lower thigh, per his preference for looser clothing and for his prosthetics. He is also a big fan of costumes!

SIDE NOTE: Silva talks with a Mexican-Spanish equivalent accent.
SIDE NOTE: As mentioned above, it is unlikely to catch him without his cap, goggles, and mask.
SIDE NOTE: Mentioned above, Silva has sharp, jagged teeth.

    PERSONALITY
    5a14929664cab10b13b647067c70f436.jpg
Kicking this off, Cleo Silva is well-known to be an internet sensation---though, not quite to the extent of Passeri Park---for his live performances of deadly stunts and daring parkour feats, one stunt of which quite literally cost him his legs. While some of his stunts are nothing new to the action-packed life of a New Oasis gangster, the internet simply can't get enough.

He is a daring character who thrives in the spotlight.

Energetic, friendly, loud, and spontaneous, he actively seeks action and is drawn to it like a pen to paper. Goofy and mischievous, he loves a good prank and is a jolly fellow filled with laughter. Perhaps a bit insensitive with a touch of straightforwardness, he tends to crack jokes about people's appearances or behaviors in a positive light, drawing attention to other's eccentricities like they're ornaments on a Christmas tree.

That goes on to say... Reading the room is not his strong suit.

Flirtatious and a bit perverted, Silva addresses most people on a pick-up-line basis. Rejection is not a loss to him, he'll try again tomorrow, for he possesses no understanding of embarrassment, nor does he often express/feel regret for his own actions.

Not quite lazy but picky as to what kind of work he does, as he gets bored extremely quick and suffers from a very short attention span, Silva lacks the ability to be responsible. Order him to guard the brothels, he'll likely wind up locked in a room with one of the escorts. Stand him in a corner and tell him not to move, you'll return five minutes later to find him either missing or doing a headstand while engaging in friendly conversation with the first person that looked him in the eye.

In regards to battle... Mercy, he will show, but not for reasons such as guilt, remorse, or compassion. Rather, he'll spare you because you said something funny or simply because he likes the way you look. Or maybe you gave him a good fight. Cleo Silva is, in one word, strange.

He is gullible, easily tempted, and prone to lying. Though, chances are he'll forget what he lied about and throw himself under the bus.

SIDE NOTE: Silva's YouTube-Equivalent Channel has amassed a subscriber-base of 45-million. His channel was made under his own name 'Cleo Silva' many years ago but was later changed to 'Silva Stunts' once he started receiving sponsorships.

SIDE NOTE: Silva gives a shoutout to Passeri Park every other upload on his media channel in hopes of catching her attention.

    HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY
1994, December 5th—Cleo Silva was born to mother and father, Mila and Ericardo Silva, in the East District of New Oasis.

    — —Ericardo, at the time of Silva’s birth, was a Veteran member of the Azure Dragons. As a result, he was often absent. When present, however, he was a loving and playful father, and always gave Mila the break she needed.

    — —Mila never supported her husband’s occupation as a gangster, but she had been more tolerant to it before Silva was born. So long as Ericardo kept his gang-business out of their son’s life, she would not dispute him.

1995, November 9th—It was quickly discovered that (11mo) Silva was an HP when bumps to the head and stumbles from learning to walk did not hurt him. As an NP from a long family line of NPs, his mother held many biases and prejudices toward HPs, the exception being her husband, Ericardo, who instead saw Silva’s being an HP as an opportunity.

2000, January—(5yo) Silva’s mother, Mila, started homeschooling Silva. What started as a fear of uncontrollable influence from external factors turned into the realization that Silva would have been hell-unleashed upon any public teaching facility, and she was later thankful for her decision to keep him close.

    — —Due to his mother being dominantly monolingual, and Silva’s being homeschooled, Silva was raised speaking mostly his native language. This is not to say that he wasn’t encouraged to learn the Amestrian language, but he does tend to show a degree of favoritism toward the former.

    — —Over time, Silva’s mother became overbearing and fearfully protective of Silva due to his rowdy and boisterous personality, and she coddled him so, sometimes aggressively, confining him to the home as much as realistically possible.

But alas, when the refrigerator ran empty, grocery-store visits could not be avoided—doctor’s appointments and other errands—and Mila did not trust to hire a babysitter for fear that they could not handle her rambunctious Cleo. So, to prevent harm from coming to her son, she took preventative measures, no matter the irony. Bubble wrap, leashed jackets, helmets, knee pads, safety goggles, etc. Ericardo thought it ridiculous, but he couldn’t bring himself to burden Mila with his contradictions, as she was a sensitive soul.

2002, February 18th—(7yo) Silva snuck away from home for the first time to play with some neighborhood kids at the local park. He had observed them many times before during nature walks with his mother, but had only ever been permitted a quick hello before Mila hurried him along.

This day marked the first time Silva ever truly enjoyed himself. In spite of the language barrier, the other children took kindly to his goofy smile and amusing antics. They did what they could to include him in their games and conversation. However, such fun was short-lived when his mother came to retrieve him and scolded him harshly.

This same day, feeling that Mila’s unrest and worry had gone too far, Ericardo stepped in to oppose the way Silva was being forced to live, but Mila would not accept it.

    — —Ever the victim of Mila's overprotective nature, it became a pattern for Silva to run away from home, seeking fun and adventure, and there never was a time when it did not surprise his mother, who responded with panic and panic again.

2003, August 17th—This was the day (8yo) Silva discovered his role-model—Felix Fearless, internet sensation and professional NP daredevil—through one of the neighborhood kids… In a short period of time, he became invested in the star, claiming to be his biggest fan, and sought to be just like him.

Cleo Silva would one day be the next Felix Fearless!

2003, August 28th—(8yo) Silva discovered the nature of his potential… Late Night, while the rest of the family slept, the young Silva sat in the dark, eyes locked on the television displaying one of Felix Fearless’ most daring stunts in all of his career, streaming live for all to watch!

As the stunt took place, Silva became compelled by an inexplicable urge to reach out and touch the screen. When he did, the picture itself and all its glowing, colorful properties crawled out and up his arm, swirling around him in a cloud of cyan stars. Tiny fragments of light swimming through the air with Silva fixed at their center; they revolved around him arbitrarily, and he was mesmerized.

Then from the speakers on the now blacked-screen television, “There’s been an accident!”

2003, September 3rd—(8yo) Silva’s fresh role-model, Felix Fearless, passed away in the hospital from injuries he had sustained during his latest stunt. Nonetheless, Silva would continue to dedicate himself to the daredevil’s documented way of life.

    — —Ericardo, Silva’s father, supported his son’s interests with gifts of Felix Fearless merchandise. Costumes and games of make-believe… He was, safe to say, Cleo Silva’s biggest fan. On the other end, his mother was not. She believed Ericardo’s support would further escalate Silva’s already-wild behavior.

Keeping Silva focused during school sessions was an impossible enough task already, then even more so after the boy adopted his obsession with the daredevil lifestyle. His mind wandered to the distant roaring of crowds yet existent when he should have been studying. He played with his food as if his plate were the stage, set for his next act, and the pea represented himself, soaring through the air in a magnificent display of raw fearlessness before he plunged into the shark-infested waters that were his mashed potatoes.

Silva’s mind was made up, and there was nothing that could change it.

2003, September 28th—(8yo) Silva’s younger brother, Javi, was born.

2003, December 9th—(9yo) Silva started learning how to sew in order to make adjustments to the costumes his father would buy him. This was one of the few activities through which he managed to bond with his mother, and this day planted a seed of growth within Mila that she couldn’t yet identify… but, within time, surely would. Something about the spark in Silva’s eyes as he hesitantly told her of his dreams sent her heart aflutter and, for the first time, she pictured his vision in a not-so-terrible light.

A fleeting positivity, however, as Silva would later return home from one of his ‘runaways’ with a broken nose and missing tooth.

2003, December 30th—(9yo) Silva crafted his own signature mask and cap, which he then wore every time he left the house, wishing to emulate the same facial anonymity that his role-model, Felix Fearless, had maintained up unto his death. He later incorporated swim goggles into the Look™ that would eventually be upgraded to something more appealing.

2004, February 13th—This was the day that (9yo) Silva grasped a new understanding of his Potential. Of that glowing, cyan cloud he so often toyed with, the form of a spoon was taken as he kicked his feet back and forth at the dining table, awaiting his breakfast. And the spoon worked.

Still fighting to overcome her fears, Mila was unsettled by this development but did not chastise the boy for his growth. She would let him be. Contrarily, Ericardo would not do nothing. In his son, he saw a potential for greatness and began seeking ways to help Silva cultivate his power.

2004, February 27th—Mila, (9yo) Silva’s mother, started working from home for a change of pace. Javi was too young for schooling and taking multiple naps throughout the day, and Silva was inclined to entertaining himself.

2004, May 6th—Ericardo began training (9yo) Silva on the days Mila allowed him to visit the park. By now, recess with the neighborhood kids had become acceptable to her, for she could not keep Silva from doing what he wanted, as evasive and wily as he was. With this, she, at least, knew where to find him. Or so she thought.

Ericardo did not take Silva to the park on this day. Rather, the two of them went to the Azure Dragons’ Headquarters, where Ericardo introduced Silva to a woman named Perona Saxus, and perhaps several other affiliates. From here on out, Ericardo trained Silva in the art of self-defense, something the boy took great pleasure in learning.

2005, December 5th—Silva’s 11th birthday. On this day, Ericardo gifted the boy with his first camera in secret. “Don’t tell your mamá,” he winked.

2006, May 17th—(11yo) Silva started a media channel under his legal name, to which he began uploading videos of his own mediocre stunts via a computer at the nearest public library. It started slow, but, with experience and growth of inspiration, picked up as he began performing more theatrical feats and showing off his ever-maturing skills.

2006, July 20th—(11yo) Silva’s mother, Mila, caught word of Silva’s media channel from the neighbors. The content dismayed her, but also inspired in her great conflict. Silva was energy driven and wild; she could not deny that. Was she wasting his potential? Was she doing more damage by forcing her fears onto him? Would she push him away for good one day?... Through all of these thoughts, Mila blocked the channel and pretended to have never seen it.

2010, April 2nd—(15yo) On this day, Silva’s father sustained serious injuries in an intergang skirmish. Treated for his wounds prior, Ericardo was carried into his home by three Dragons, one of whom was Perona Saxus who promptly informed Mila of the misfortune that had befallen him.

Ericardo became strictly bedridden due to the severity of his condition and, as a result, the Silva family would suffer, for they had no solid income outside of the Azure Dragons. During a talk, Ericardo proclaimed to Silva that it was Silva’s turn to step up. Shortly after, Perona Saxus offered for Silva to join the Azure Dragons under her wing. Seeking thrill and excitement, but also consequential to his father’s word, Silva accepted the offer.

    — —Driven by her emotions, on the day that Ericardo was carried home and permanently laid to bed, Mila confronted Perona Saxus and demanded that she stay away from Silva and Javi. With a smile, Perona said nothing and left, never showing her face at the Silva household again.

2010, April 11th—(15yo) Unbeknownst to his mother, Silva began undergoing training with Perona Saxus, not yet a recognized member of the Azure Dragons. While the training was rigorous and tiring, Silva did not hate it and took an especially enthusiastic interest in sparring.

    — —By now, on his media channel—Cleo Silva Stunts—Silva had amassed a subscriber-base well in the hundred-thousands, and had also started receiving sponsors from small businesses. The channel’s name would later go on to change.

2010—In between training with Perona, spending time with his mother, father and brother, performing stunts, and keeping up with his friends around the neighborhood, as he pretty much lived a free life at this point, Silva took on odd-jobs to help pay the bills at home. Anything that he couldn’t pay fell into Perona’s hands, as she owed a great debt to Ericardo that she never spoke of.

    — —Oftentimes, to his mother’s disconcert, Silva would steal Javi from home to show him the city, telling him fictions and wild hypotheticals of a fantastic future filled with great adventure.

    — —With Ericardo bound to rest, Mila was determined to take on more hours at her home-job. On top of trying to ensure Silva and Javi’s education, keeping up with chores and errands, she looked upon the past and buckled beneath the weight of regret. She somehow found a way to blame herself for everything that had ever gone wrong.

2010, May—(15yo) Silva’s younger brother, Javi (6yo), was enrolled in public school when their mother realized she simply couldn’t keep up. Attempting to put Silva in public school was a lost cause, as he did what he wanted.

2011, June 29th—(16yo) Silva met a group of North District street-rats who called themselves the Rattlesnakes, likely a play on the infamous Sable Serpents, and was quickly welcomed by them. After a few hours of learning their customs and observing their talents, Silva, too, showed what he could do—everything he’d taught himself, and what he’d learned from his father and Perona, but also the passion of Felix Fearless that coursed through his veins.

When one of the Rattlesnakes recognized Silva to be the Cleo Silva from Silva Stunts media, self-proclaimed boy daredevil, they promptly began referring to Silva as Sharkface, claiming that he was one of their subtle inspirations. From then on, Silva began accompanying the posse around the North District when he could, when an odd-job led him that way, or just when he found the time, and they versed him in the art of parkour whilst spreading mischief along the way. A few of the Rattlesnake members would later go on to make regular appearances in Silva's videos, serving as a crew under his fame to help with the setup of future stunts and events.

It was after this that Silva began referring to himself by his last name.

2013, October 4th—(18yo) Silva’s father passed away. Following this, Silva subconsciously began using stunts and fighting as a coping mechanism. Rarely home, his performances became progressively more extreme, and he often spent days gone to lose himself at parties around the city. When he was home, his bruised and beaten appearance was of no consolation to his mother. “You are breaking your mamá’s heart.”

2013, October 10th—(18yo) Silva became a member of the Azure Dragons under Perona Saxus’ recommendation. His mother, at this point, was desensitized enough that she hardly flinched when he told her.

2015, August 1st—(20yo) Silva performed a stunt in Lower Central which involved an “acid-dive” of sorts. Due to compromised protective goggles, his goggles were flooded with acid that resulted in the near-loss of his eyesight. He was later able to get corrective lenses built into his personal goggles.

    — —As it became known that Silva was a member of the Azure Dragons on his media channel, he started losing sponsorships, but not all. By now, he had amassed a subscriber-base of millions, most of which were NPs. Due to his large social media influence, sponsorships came under the table so long as he supported and promoted their brands.

2018, March 25th—(23yo) Silva lost his legs in a dangerous stunt involving a motorcycle jump over a pit of explosives that he underestimated the power of in the South District.

2020, June 26th—(25yo) Silva's brother, Javi (16yo), graduated high school.

2021, January 21st—(26yo) Silva fell into a coma after engaging in battle with Sergeant Inigo Han of the CDPD. He was, thankfully, rescued by Azure Dragon member, Stephan House, otherwise known as Leviathan ('Levi'), and taken to Perona Saxus, who assumed responsibility for him.

Perona took the comatose Silva to his home, where she repurposed his room to better accommodate his condition. Mila was mortified and could only beg that Perona ensure her son’s recovery, putting her personal feelings aside.

2021, February 1st—(26yo) Silva's brother, (17yo) Javi, became a member of the Azure Dragons.

2021, November 30th—(26yo) Silva woke miraculously from his ten-month coma. His mentor, Perona Saxus, immediately arranged for him to begin undergoing physical therapy to help get him back on his feet.

    — —For the first month after his waking, Silva was in a bad state. He came around slowly, regaining his natural spark and lively energy an ounce at a time as the days passed. He showed signs of memory loss, wondering what had happened to his legs, but seemed to recover bits and pieces of himself gradually. He couldn't walk at first, and hardly held an appetite; weak as a child all over. Not even his younger brother’s meals could put a craving to his stomach.

While it's a normal thing for one to experience confusion and frustration upon waking from a coma, especially one so long as nearly a year, seeing an agitated Silva was unsettling to his mother and Perona. It was so unlike him that his mother couldn't bear to see him, nor did Silva want her to. Until he started to feel like himself again, Silva allowed only Perona to come and go from his bedroom. On occasions, when Javi intruded, Silva managed a chipper facade, but a lacking one.
