Gretchen Three
Basic Info
Name: Gretchen Three
Age: 15
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Height: 5’4
Weight: 117 lbs
Abilities: Whenever she touches something living, she draws all of the life energy from it and it is added to her own lifespan. She also has a small chip in her left arm that tracks her vitals and allows her to contact her “masters” in Goun.
Appearance
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Deep Blue
Skin Color: Pale
Because of her powers, she can’t touch anyone with her bare skin, so she wears long sleeves, pants, scarves, and gloves to avoid accidents. She has a small scar on her left arm from where they implanted the chip.
Personality
After she transferred to A.R.E. she has been very reserved, and constantly haunted by her masters overseas. She hates herself for her powers because she can only use them for destruction, but has come to think that the best course of action is to simply survive.
Background
She was born into a poor but loving family, and her powers started to gradually appear when she was three years old. At first, her parents became very fatigued after holding her, but within a year she started to leave nasty patches of dead flesh wherever she was touched. They tried to hide her from the government, but a family friend gave away her locations to corrupt officials who were bribing citizens for information.
Instead of putting her in a normal institution for children with powers, she was hand selected for “Project Gretchen,” a secret government operation where they raised young girls with powers to become spies. All the girls in the project were named Gretchen, and there were four other girls. Two of them are now stationed in Raja, and the other was killed in an escape attempt.
While in Project Gretchen, she was trained extensively on hand-to-hand combat, which is extra effective with her powers. She never learned the names of her captors, and was taught to address them as her “masters.” When she wasn’t training, she was thrown into a dark cell with a dingy toilet and an old spring mattress. She was spoon fed vitamin-infused slop most of her life, and they only recently taught her to feed herself so she could blend in with other students of A.R.E.
She was shipped to A.R.E. under the guise of a transfer student to collect and report information on Ara’s special children. Though she's thousands of miles away from Goun, she still feels like a slave.
Extra
She has a special fascination with robot servants and artificial intelligence. Not only are they humanoid figures that she can touch, but she also relates with them because they have both been used all their lives.
