Welcome to King of Kings' Selection Process. in order to be selected as one of the potential candidates, this application must be filled to the best of your ability. Creativity is a plus!     Hello, fellow roleplayers! This is actually the first time that I am organizing my very own roleplay! I've mostly been on the sidelines either being a Co-GM or a Moderator of roleplaying groups, but this time, I've decided I could step up to the place and make my first roleplay. I have been aching to do something with royalty and Middle Ages, so here we are!

    If there are any questions, please let me or my CO-GM stellar.nova stellar.nova know! We will be happy to answer any questions or further address any concerns or confusion!

    On another note, I highly encourage adding drama, secrets, and plot ideas in this roleplay! Although the main plot is figuring out who killed the King of Kings and who will reign as King of Kings among the candidates, I do believe there will be inner strife and chaos within the castle and other kingdoms. This roleplay will be successful according to not only me and my co-GM, but also you guys, as my fellow roleplayers. The more creativity and ideas put into the roleplay, the more fun it will be! So, I definitely recommend plotting and getting to know each other! It'll be fun!

❖Appearance:
- Giuliana is a thin and muscular woman, but she is not lacking in the natural curves of a woman that make her quite inviting. There is no denying that she is pretty, nor is there any denying that she could easily one up very many people in a fight. Her face typically remains stoic, but it is just her allowing her facial muscles to relax. Every now and again, you may find her with a small snarky smirk on her face, or perhaps a flirtatious grin. But it is easy to see that her sharp eyes are always on the lookout for anything suspicious.

❖Clothing Style:
- Giuliana prefers not to wear dresses, but if she does, they are easy to move in and of dark colors such as black, grey, or blue. Oftentimes they could be considered revealing, and mimic the outline of a chiton or toga, a common type of dress in many areas of Valorem. Most of the time, when not expected to dress formally, she prefers to wear armor and trousers, finding it easier to defend herself in such a wardrobe.

❖Personality:
- Giuliana is oftentimes rather cold and mean and calculating. Her intention is not to be these things, but she takes her duties very seriously and looks down upon all of those who do not feel the same way she does. She believes that there are no second chances that can be afforded, so if somebody performs an act that they should not, they are immediately punished. However, no one can say that she is an unfair ruler, for her punishments, though harsh, are just and necessary. All of this aside, Giuliana is curious and inquisitive, but in a playful sort of snarky way. Whenever there is trouble, she will be ready to defend herself and those around her, but she will still play along enough to see what direction that sort of trouble will take. Though quite elitist, she is still flirtatious. Her type? Dangerous.

- She is a very clean eater and hates getting anything on her hands and mouth, so she wipes her hands and mouth often when eating.

❖History:
- Giuliana was a happy child. She enjoyed traipsing around her family estate and making up her own adventures to go on. She was always some long lost Queen that was fighting to take the throne in order to save her people. Because that is what a monarch should do. Fight for their people. And yet, she was always told that a woman should not be able to take the throne. They were powerless, but that was the way they were meant to be, holed up in a room weaving or sewing.

One day, when she was probably about five years old, she was caught playing in her Uncle's castle by one of the guards. He was very unkind to her and told her that she was nothing more than a "spoiled bitch whose fingers were best left uncalloused so as to please her man." Though she didn't quite understand the words, she ran to her uncle and immediately told him about the event, tears streaming down her cheeks. He had the guard removed from his position, completely irate that he had caused his niece to cry. So, in order to make her feel better, he agreed to teach her how to fight.

She became very good very quickly. Every time that she came to stay with him (which was often months at a time) he would teach her more things and spar with her. And she would spar at home with one of the stable boys, but they were much less exciting to fight with.

At age twelve, her father left to go to war. He never returned. She was devastated, but not quite as much as her mother. Her uncle took them into his own home. Giuliana was exhilarated to live with her uncle, but her mother held much bitterness towards him since her father had died but her uncle had survived.

At age eighteen, Giuliana's uncle became the King of Kings and left the Kingdom of Velorum in her hands. Her mother was hurt and angry that she had not been trusted with the Kingdom. So, she attempted to assassinate her own daughter. Giuliana, knowing what was best for her country, knew she would need to stay strong. So, she sentenced her mother to a slow and painful death and did the honors herself.

Now, none of her subjects question her, knowing full well that she isn't scared to take drastic measures to ensure the safety of her kingdom.

- Giuliana is power hungry and believes that the role of King of Kings is hers by right, considering her uncle was the previous King of Kings. Other than that, she gives the simple reason of how is she to trust any other person to make her their subordinate?

- Valorem is located in the south, just above El Krabah It has warm weather, usually, and contains a constant smooth and cool breeze from the numerous bodies of water. On the most southern part of it, it has many islands. Lush plants grow here, as do many large, beautiful, and colorful flowers. The only thing that changes throughout the seasons is the temperature, which only drops ten to twenty degrees. However, the northernmost part of the Kingdom is mountainous and cold, only lessening by ten or so degrees in the summer.

❖Society:
- Naming:
Every Regium and Nobilis have several names. Their family name, of course. Their given name, which is what their parents name them. Their chosen name, one that they choose come age sixteen. And any other names that have been chosen to pass along from their ancestors.

- Regium and Nobilis vs. Paesano:
There are many different factions of each group, but the lower classes heavily outweigh the upper classes. There is only one Queen or King, and their family which mainly consists of parents, siblings, grandparents, and any children. There is only one Sanctus-Re. Three Ducis, six Contes, and nine Dominore.

- Entertainment:
There are many forms of entertainment in the different cities of Velorum. In Caedes, there are chariot races, public baths, lively theatres, and Militieri Gioderre, or 'False Military' that are quite similar to gladiators. In Crudelta there are choirs and wonderful architecture to study, as well as numerous libraries. In Sollertia there are art shows and a very large marketplace.

- Pagano: These people believe in many gods and goddesses, for many different things. They have rituals on specific days of the year and can be considered wild and untamed. Most are located in the Great City of Caedes. They celebrate Solistizio, the middle of each major season: Aestas (Summer) and Inverno (Winter). They also celebrate Stregga Notte, a night when it is believed that witches can call upon the powers of the gods.They have the Festival Teatro, a festival dedicated to theatre and drinking.

- Cattolico: These people believe in a holy trinity of spirits: il Patrem, il Filium, and il Spirito Sanctus (The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). Il Patrem is a deity that had never been a man, Il Filium was a man born of il Patrem and a mortal woman, and il Spirito Sanctus is what binds everyone together. They also show adoration of la Mater (the mother). Any person in history that has followed the word of the Sacre Scritture (Sacred Scripture) that fits outrageous qualifications is deemed with Sainthood. They are typically located within the Great City of Crudelta. Their practices are rather corrupt, however, given that they torture any non-Cattolico. The leader of this religion is the Sanctus-Re, or Holy King.

- Spiritualis: These people believe in the absence of religion and would rather find happiness and solace within themselves and what they create. They are typically located in Sollertia.

      Götnorrsvea is located at the northern part of continental Europe in the Scandinavian Peninsula. It covers almost 14000 league of lands, and almost 1300 leagues of water. It has a population of approximately 5 million. There is a long coastline on the east side of Götnorrsvea while on the east is a vast mountain range. The mountain range, though long it is, is not exactly high (highest peak standing only in 7000ft.) It may lack of height, but most of the terrains in the mountains are dangerously steep, and coated with ice most of the year. The roads are too treacherous that even the most skilled hunter of the kingdom are straying away from the path. There was even a legend that Frost Giants lives in the said area.

      At the base of the mountain, a forest is located. Thick trees stands mighty and tall. Animals such as wolves, bucks and deer, bears, boars, and lynx are abundant in the area. Fertile, rich and warm soil can also be found in the farming district of the kingdom.

      Götnorssvea has only three seasons: Winter, spring and fall. The summer time can be considered in spring where flowers bloomed, lands are plowed, trees are green and the sun shines bright above. People are mostly relax in these season while winter is the toughest season of all. Harsh winds, bitter cold and pure white snow coats all the land. The sun often shies away this time of the year. The time where the days are short and the night is long. During fall on the other hand, everyone is partly busy. People are busy preparing themselves during the oncoming cold and dark days.

      With the mountains, plains and lakes surrounding the kingdom, people of Götnorrsvea are either miners, fishermen or farmers. (Of course if they're not in the army and serving the crown.) With bountiful plains that can be sowed, villagers plant what they eat. The grains they harvest are either stored in their houses and palace reserve or being sold to other neighboring kingdoms. People on the east side of the kingdom rely on the lakes for their everyday living. They are skilled fishermen. On the Southside of the kingdom lies a vast mountain range. Mining is the number one occupation in that region. The mountain is rich with gold ore and diamond. Apart from mining, a group of the most skilled sword smith can be found at the south border of the land. The kingdom capital relies on the outer lying villages and provinces for their supply and in return, they protect them and the whole kingdom from the outside attack. Aside from the minerals that can be found under the mountain, edible plants and medicinal herbs are very abundant in the forest region of the Kingdom, thus the practice of healing can be an alternative way of living for some.

Karina is a blonde, blue eyed girl of a rather slim build. At first look, you would not expect the strength, both in mind and body, that lies within this dainty and innocent-looking body. Her hair is long, reaching down to about half her back. She usually is found wearing it open, but if she gets into serious work, she will get it into a quickly done ponytail.

Karina´s whole attitude usually is friendly and open, however a certain authority and maybe even a bit of a feeling of superiority is found in the way she walks, talks and stands. Still, Karina is oftenly found smiling and it is hard to imagine her look angry, if you have never seen it. She looks like a innocent noble through and through and can easily get underestimated through that.

Underneath The Surface:



♚. Personality: Karina in most situations is a friendly and open person, that cares to never be rude towards people, unless they give her reason. Still, she is rather distant in her ways, meaning that while she gives you the feeling you are welcome, she yet gives you the feeling you are not on her level. It is a weird mix of comfort and discomfort, that one can feel around her.

Karina further can be a very serious person, if it comes to buisness or even fights. The usually friendly attitude then quickly gets replaced by one of authority, one worthy of a true queen. When she acts that way, she makes it obvious, that in her eyes, the others are supposed to simply follow what she says. She still does not carry herself on a high horse, it is simply that someone has to take the lead and she is very good at doing so.

The Queen of Avalarion still never acts too fast. She gives all her actions thought and tries to always stay rational and calm, as she knows, the more emotion a decision has, the worse it usually turns out to be. Therefore, Karina is usually very collected and will rarely get wrathful or overjoyed about things. She has pretty good control over herself.

While she tries to stay in the middle with all those sides of hers, there always are moments when she gets too arrogant, when she does not accept having made a mistake, when emotions take her over from being pushed back too much. Those moments are ones that never can be estimated with her. Her actions do not have a scheme then and usually have pretty unpleasent consequences.

♚. Quirks: Karina has the habit of biting her lip in different situations. Be it when she thinks hard, when she is embarrassed or when she is angry, she will ususally bite her lip when somethings in her mind that she doesnt let out. Further, she has a love of sweets that is almost abnormal. The things she would do for a sweet treat are far beyond what one would expect. Nothing immoral, but more than you think.
♚. History: Karina was born as the daughter of King Ikarus IV, the last king of Avalarion. Her mother, the kings wife, was a woman of extraordinary beauty and kindess, while her father was a strong, serious and yet peaceloving man. From early years, Karina got spoiled. Especially her father did all he could to make Karina feel like she was special. Meanwhile, her mother usually tried to teach her tolerance and openness. This two-sided education continued on for long, until Karina´s teenage years, to be precise.

It was when Karina was 15, that her mother died. Karina was incredibly sad, as her beloved mother died due to an illness, but she had known before that it would happen. She was a little braced against it, but still the death hit her hard. Not as hard as her father, though. He had managed to remain oblivious to the fact she was ill enough to die and thus got completely surprised. It took days, until he let anyone, even his daughter, speak to him again. It wasn´t easy for Karina to see her father suffer like that, but it was even less easy for the men and women that worked in the castle. Karina however managed to get the people calmed down. THe 15 year old was able to give of such a natural authority, that nobody questioned what she said and that she was able to let everything go in its usual flow. The king never noticed it.

During the years, her father always talked about how he was going to become the king of kings. He promised peace. And he promised happiness. Karina loved to listen to his speeches. But when she turned 22, her father died of a sudden heart attack. Karina was being made the queen basically overnight. She had no experience, she had no idea of what to do. She only had her lessons and her combat training, but those never told how to rule a land. Karina however swore herself to do the best she could. And of course, she would fulfill everyones expectations and become king of kings. Until present day, nobody complained about her as ruler.

♚. Why does your candidate want to be King of Kings?: Karina does not actually want to become the king of kings. It is more a thing that has been forced upon her through her fathers wish. Before he passed, he always told how he would become the king of kings and how he would keep everything at peace like that. Now, that he is gone, everyone of course expects his daughter and replacement to go the same path like him.

Therefore, Karina tries her best to become the king of kings. The goal is simple, to keep peace and achieve what her father wanted.

♚. What do they think of the Selection process of choosing a King of Kings?: Karina thinks that the system of how the king of kings is chosen is pretty good how it is. The reason is simple. In her eyes, such a task should only be given to a person that is able to handle all hardships, one truly worthy of said responsibility. The obstacles and those tests are perfect to determine who of the candidates brings all those things.

Valois is a close neighbor of Valorem (part of it, at least) and a short jaunt away from Avalarion. Just across the channel from Valois lies Viselia, with which Valois has a long and complex history. Most other countries worth mentioning aren't very close to Valois, but it values every diplomatic opportunity it can get its hands on.

Geographically speaking, Valois covers approximately 213,000 square miles (or 551,500 square kilometers), with a rather demented square shape. The northeast and southwest corners consist of coastlines, where any trading is more likely to take place. The other borders are landlocked, with the northwest corner leading to countries that are farther inland.

Valois, like many others, has four distinct seasons (winter, spring, summer, and autumn), though spring and summer seem to blend into one another, being as it is that the overall climate is temperate and pleasant. Oddly enough, the kingdom is divided into separate climactic areas: western Valois houses annual rainfall spread over many days and modest temperature variations; central and eastern Valois has cold winters and hot summers; southeastern Valois has ample sunshine but warm, dry summers, with a season of rainfall from October to April; and finally, the mountainous regions have high amounts of rainfall, with snow falling three to six months every year.

This kingdom is rich with various landscapes. The rural areas are chock full of rolling hills perfect for farming, and those melt into mountainous regions that rise above even the tallest buildings. Pair this with the colorful sunsets and speckled bodies of water, and you have the perfect scene for a painting. And there are quite a lot of artists in Valois who have painted these landscapes. A variety of plants and wildlife inhabit these tranquil hills, mountains, and countrysides alongside their human companions. Urban areas have a tendency to look as if they rose straight out of the earth, for above all, beauty is considered when constructing such a place. Villages and towns are more commonplace than these cities, however, as the people understand the need to preserve the natural beauty of the earth.

♚. Society: Like most kingdoms, the society of Valois is a mixture of classes. In every city and town, there is the wealthy class which take over most of the municipal governing. They are normally the merchants or landowners of vast estates on which there is extensive farmland. Meanwhile, the middle class are normally the ones living in either rural areas or the main residential areas of the cities, with average income. Normally, they focus more on living expenses than luxuries, but occasionally, some middle class folk will spoil themselves. The poor mostly live on the streets or in the homes that the monarchy provides, as the Valois dynasty does not believe in allowing homelessness and hunger to prevail. Overall, life is standard to kingdoms of this time, with a few exceptions.
♚. Occupation: Valois's pride rests in its bread and pastries. Therefore, while those in rural areas tend to be farmers, the cities are alight with bakeries and other makers of food. Of course, these aren't the only occupations, but they are what most children grow up to be. You find a different sort of pastry in ever bakery--Valois is always coming up with new ones. Though perhaps one of the more desired occupations is that of an artist, or even an artisan. The people of Valois are an imaginative folk, and they seek beauty in everything they do. Why else would they have such a full language and lilting accent?
♚. Religion: The official religion of Valois is Catholic; however, the kingdom is tolerant of all religions as well as atheism. This is to appease all the people and prevent any wars within the kingdom.
♚. Other: Valois, as one may guess, was not always Valois. Its first inhabitants were the early Neanderthals, who soon died out in favor of modern humans Almost achingly slowly began to found cities on the shores of southeastern corner of Valoisian lands. Before Valois itself was formed, it was ruled for a longtime by another dynasty, which encompassed a number of different kingdoms which would soon be the nation of Valois. As time passed and technology improved, so did the monarchy. A few strong princes and dynasties ruled before Valois was firmly settled as one large kingdom, thus starting the era of modern Valois. The Beaufort family took power from its predecessors, the Fontaines, and they set about making the kingdom more prosperous. True, there have been some dreadful wars over a silly thing like religion, and yes, Valois's had the tendency to surrender to other countries in more full scale conflicts. But Valois has proven itself a world power, and it will gladly do so again if need may be. Sadly, over time the monarchy has become more spoiled and selfish, so a few kings ago, the parliamentary system was implanted, so as to prevent this corruption from ruining the lives of the more common folk. Valois has lived peacefully and happily ever since.

Alice absolutely despises being a princess. To her, it’s all about playing a part and charming a lazy, spoiled upper class into supporting her. In her opinion, however, that isn’t the way to rule a kingdom. Ruling a kingdom means listening to the needs of the people.

In her position, Alice really has no say. She’s a princess, and the third child of the royal family, so her role is to be married off, or, in this case, participate in the King of Kings Selection. This means that she can’t protest her family’s methods and the way they spend their time. Because of her circumstances, she hates her family deeply, and she hates the title “princess,” believing it to just be a false label used to describe someone who can do whatever the hell they want.

Around others, Alice is quiet and distant. She cares nothing for state functions, and she would rather not participate in meaningless gossip. She’d much rather sit alone in her room and read or sew, two pastimes she enjoys. Because she’s so cold, others assume she’s mean-spirited or hostile, but she holds a great compassion for her people and her kingdom. Her frustration is that she’s unable to show it in public. She will show it, however, through small acts of kindness to the servants around her castle and even to the commoners she sees during carriage rides in town. Although all this is done in secrecy, she’s gained a reputation in the castle as the “kindhearted royal.”

Princess Camille Florence Alice Valois Beaufort was born the third child but the first princess in a set of five children. She was five years her second brother’s junior, and seven years her eldest brother’s. Her younger siblings were twins, and both were boys as well. She was, therefore, the only princess of this generation of the Beaufort dynasty.

From the moment she understood the world around her, she despised it. Her family lavished themselves selfishly with luxuries as their people struggled to survive each day. She would notice this whenever her family would go on carriage rides through the capital city in what was meant to be a show of support and kindness to the commoners. Alice hated these shows of power. What she longed to do was climb down and ask the people what they needed.

However, when she tried to tell her brothers her philosophy, Bernard, the eldest, scoffed. Cyrano, her second brother, gave her a curious glance and went his own way. The twins, Elliot and Frederic, laughed and said she was being silly. She was seven and they were four, so it was understandable. But little Elliot later did ask her more about it. That itself gave her hope.

It was around this time that she met a lowly servant boy, Marc, who found it fascinating that a member of the royal family cared so much for people like him. She reiterated that it wasn’t fair how luxurious her life was when the lives of her people were so drastically poor. He smiled and told her he agreed.

The princess had an unexpected ally.

Alice and Marc stuck close from then on, so much that Alice began to feel a sort of kinship with him. It wasn’t until the day he dragged her into a hidden alcove and kissed her that she realized that what she’d been feeling had been love.

They didn’t tell anyone, not even their closest friends among the castle staff. Alice certainly didn’t tell her parents and her brothers. She stole away to kiss her love in dark corners and hidden passages, whispering her grievances of her family and apologizing for her position in it all. He assured her that he did not blame her for the place she was born in, or the role she’d been assigned since birth. She loved him all the more for it.

When she was seventeen, he came to her in the night after her maids had left, a flower in his hand. He confessed that he couldn’t stand keeping their affair a secret anymore. Her parents were looking into advantageous matches for her, and whenever Alice told Marc of it, he’d get a sad look on his face, like he couldn’t bear to part with her that way. When he kissed her that night, she forgot all of that.

That was the night she gave up her virtue.

Of course, to everyone else, she was still the pure princess of Valois, but every time she happened upon Marc in passing, they’d exchange a slight grin. Elliot, at fourteen, had always been observant, and he noticed this. He demanded the truth out of his older sister, but she feigned innocence.

Months after the incident, her parents summoned her. They shoved a bound and battered Marc in front of her and asked her why exactly the boy was spreading scandal about her in town. Apparently, he’d been telling anyone who would listen that he’d seduced the princess and taken her virtue. Alice was shocked, but more than that, she was seething with anger. How dare he pretend to love her, and then throw it all away as if her feelings meant nothing?

No matter how much she apologized to her parents, the damage was done. This scandal was all over the city, and she was shamed by her parents and her brothers. For years afterward, she wouldn’t be allowed to attend gatherings of the court or state functions, which was a relief to her, but also a reminder of her deed and her shame.

What hurt the most was that Marc had been put to death for his crime. And when she’d watched him die, he’d dared to give her a look and mouth the words, I’m sorry. She turned away and ignore him. If he was really sorry, he wouldn’t have betrayed her in the first place.

Elliot was the only one of her brothers who was sympathetic to her plight. He comforted her and embraced her in an effort to calm her tears, and he listened to her twisted love story about the princess and the servant.

Six years later, the scandal has faded from the whispers of the aristocracy and commoners alike, but Alice hasn’t forgotten the shame her family brought upon her. Or the mistake she made in trusting a servant boy with her love.

♚. Location: Avalonia spans over the 52,065 square kilometers of Bohemia. It is a beautiful country with a landscape that is very varied. To the west are low mountains that are connected by the Sedahorni ( Avalonian for "grey rock" ) mountain range in a crescent that curves close to the kingdom's lower border, dividing it from its neighbour Avalarion. Many valleys and lakes lie between the mountains and hills and gives source to the main river Nuhlan (Avalonian for "mother river") that splits and flows into Avalarion and several other surrounding countries.

All across Avalonia, there is a wide variety of landscapes, all of which hold a kind of natural beauty. There are rolling hills surrounding the city of Teribithia and temperate deciduous forests by which the townspeople of Kamrun. Great river valleys are carved from river Nuhlan and give source to fertile grounds for farming and agriculture. There are the northern foothills, cliffs and rocky mountains that are dotted with light posts and fortresses that protect and guard Avalonia from threats coming from the north.

Though, everything changes as the temperature drops and snow rains down from endless cloudy skies. The land becomes covered in a thick layer of white and time seems to stop in the small country. The rivers freeze up, the son has gone into hiding and all life seems to have disappeared from sight. Still, there is a kind of beauty as the snowflakes spiral down from the heavens and the frost grows upon glass as if touched by some magical spirit.

The Capital city Mistokral ( Avalonian for "place of kings") and is situated in South Eastern Avalonia where the Eastern end of the Sedahorni mountain range lies. Rosenberg Castle overlooks the capital, located high on the slope of the hill around which river Nuhlan curves before flowing south through the river valley. All around the capital, one can see adorning the doorways, the buildings and various infrastructure, five-petal roses which are the symbol of the Rosenberg Dynasty. As the city and its population grew, infrastructure was set up on the nearest shore across the river and connected by a bridge to the main portion of the capital. Farmlands have been cultivated farther out where there is lots of space to grow produce and tend cattle in order to supply the city. Two other bridges connect the city to the the other shores where roads branch out into the rest of the country.

♚. Society: Avalonia is the type of country that feels like home. It is a small country where its people live quite comfortably in cities, towns and communities that branch out north and west from the Capital of Mistokral, all connected by a web of roads and thoroughfares. The population is very small in comparison to their neighbors due to a harsh winter than claimed many lives in Alexei's grand father's time almost half a century before.

Though widespread, a close network of governing holds the country together with the Queen at its head. Each member of the royal family under her Majesty is responsible for their own part of the kingdom. As of now, Alexei and his siblings have no territories as he will soon take over the role of King and manage Mistokral in place of his mother while his younger sister and brother are still too young. Years of mismanagement have given way to corruption have taken route in the family while and inferior and lacking military has left the kingdom vulnerable to invasion, especially from the north and east where there are no large cities to protect the smaller villages and towns. All these factors resulted in the kingdom's decline, something Prince Alexei intends to fix.

Though as of recent years, no place goes under the radar. Annually the crown prince, or any other immediate member of the Royal family, travels across the kingdom to each of the cities and towns not only to inspect the living conditions of the people and gather information on the area but also to continuously restore the faith of the population in their Rulers. In order to restore the kingdom and royalty, this tradition was started 3 years ago under the orders of Crown Prince Alexei.

The royal family prides itself in the unity of the kingdom with its people, especially in times of darkness. The strength is with the people, especially when against the world and enemies to their country. Every year, many festivals are held all around the country that bring together its people in song and dance with food and drink. The Rosenberg's are required to attend the festivals in Mistokral and all people in areas of management must support the festivities held in their own areas.

Though Avalonia is a shadow of its former self under King Konrad, Alexei and his siblings are working to return it to its previous glory.

♚. Occupation:

Though a tiny kingdom in comparison to its neighbours, Avalonia flourished under the reign of Alexei's father, Late King Konrad Johannes Eugen Rosenberg and the country had become a centre of knowledge due to its geological location in the middle of the land mass as well as the Great Library in Mistokral, a heavily protected and treasured Archive of books and information from centuries before. The country has also become greatly influencial in the arts and academics, having birthed and cultivated many of the greatest minds of the century.

Most of the industry in Avalonia comes from its arts and culture. The country is quite famous for its beautiful architecture and many beautiful monuments and historical sites. These, put together with the ever changing landscapes of the kingdom brings in many visitors to the country on holiday. This in turns gives source to much of the annual income which increased upon the restoration of Rosenberg castle two years back and a few other iconic buildings.

There are many guilds and houses in Avalonia, all home to artisans of all kinds of crafts. Due to the importance placed on the arts under Queen Anaztasie's rule, talented artisans had much support and means of cultivating their skills which in turn add to the beauty of the country whether it is through breath taking art, haunting music or any other possible craft. There was also a heavy emphasis on individual performance and improvement.

Those who used their skills for making a small but comfortable living in the towns contributed to about 40% of the consumer market through medicine, alchemy, craft, equipment forging, tailoring and culinary arts, just to name a few. The rest of the market is taken by agricultural goods as farmers work hard to make as much produce to feed the kingdom throughout the year, especially during winter when no crops would grow and no cattle would survive out in the harshest of winters.

Though Avalonia is a flourishing kingdom, its military has sunken into disrepair. Already a small kingdom with few people and an inferior army, their armed forces continued to weaken under Queen Anaztasie's reign due to a shift in priorities. Due to such, the kingdom relies on its significance as a epicenter of knowledge, history, culture and influence as well as it's neighbors and allies to protect itself from potential threats.

Already, due to their lack of self protection, enemies in the north and east have begun to chip away at Avalonia bit by bit, putting in danger the villages on the outskirts which are spread few and far between. Thankfully, Princess Renata Miroslava Iva Rosenberg, Alexei's younger sister has grown to take interest in military affairs and management and is notably a natural tactician and strategist. With her help, Crown Prince Alexei may be able to rally and improve their armed forces and protect their kingdom.

♚. Religion: Commonly Christianity, but due to the strife in recent years, religion has lost some of its place in everyday life. Currently, there is no law on adhering to Christianity or any other religion. The population is free to practice whatever they wish, or not at all. The Rosenberg's still adhere to many beliefs of Christianity, though later generations have been more preoccupied with other things besides religion.

Each child born in the last 38 years has received a birthstone with the engraving of the five petal rose, the Rosenberg family's insignia, carved into the stone and gilt with silver or gold. Each gift is
a symbol of the child's right, belonging and loyalty to Avalonia. This reinforces the unspoken law that all children of the kingdom grow up to know by heart : ones country, ones family and ones home before oneself.

♚. Other: Many generations ago, both kingdoms were one, ruled by one king. But he had two sons, twins, both having a right to the throne. To not have to choose between the two, he split his kingdom. Both sons got one part to rule over as Kings and promised to always work together. Both got married and planned to wed their children, but one of them, the brother that was to lead Avalarion, died before he had a child. The queen however married again and bore children. The promise between the brothers were lost and through the generations, the relationship between the countries grew distant, until the late king of Avalarion lost his wife. In his sadness, he offered to renew the deal and wed the children, only to get a closer relationship to Avalonia. Alexei's father and mother were overjoyed at the prospect and accepted. Alexei and Karina had met before in diplomatic meetings when they were kids and whenever the young prince passed through Avalarion. The parents had witnessed them get along so there appeared to be no problems with letting the two wed.

He is a poised man who often only wears full Avalonian royal attire as Alexei believes that no matter where he is or who he is with, he must uphold the image of Crown Prince and the pride and glory of their nation. Underneath The Surface:
♚. Personality: If anyone were to meet Alexei for the first time, they would describe him as kind. He gives off the kind of warmth that is not radiant and strong like the sun, but comforting and gentle like the moon. Though often a rather quiet young man, he gets along well with others and is great at making fiends or having casually socializing with others. He would gratefully accept company prefers to be on his own or with one or two close companions instead of among the people. This is due to having grown up used to being independent to an extent, living his own life and not as bound by royal duties. At first, he lived life to the fullest, thinking he would die soon anyway, but as the years passed and he grew stronger and the notion faded away. Soon, he lived life because he could see a brighter future for him as long as he worked just a little harder.

Despite his freedom as a child, Alexei is a hardworking young man and his heart is with his family, his kingdom and his people, living and pushing through each day not for himself, but for Avalonia. He never let his weak body bring him down nor ever used it as an excuse to push responsibility over to his younger siblings. Though his weaknesses made it so that he had to work harder than most, they also made him stronger as a person as well as more compassionate towards those who suffered from disadvantages or endured much pain and sadness in their life. After all, his travels and his own faults had educated him well on the lives of the poor, the sick and homeless. He'd seen much of life, the good and the bad and such memories he gained on his journeys would forever be imprinted in his mind.

Alexei is a worry wart, and being crown prince with the weight of the country on his shoulders does nothing to ease the pressure. Though often he is cool and composed, there are times his mind seems to drift away to anxiously worry about situations or things that have to be done, the biggest worry on his mind being Avalonia and his mother Queen Anastazie. He is quick to doubt himself upon being given reason to and refrains from taking big risks for fear of failure and consequences, often taking time to weigh the pros and cons. Despite his hesitation in his own actions, he tends to give encouragement easily and has confidence in individuals who have proven themselves so.

♚. Quirks: When he is deep in though, Alexei often furrows his brows and stares at a certain point while his forehead creases ever so slightly. When reading or idly occupied, he tends to chew on his bottom life and have a rather concentrated expression despite not meaning to.

♚. History: Alexei was the first born of King Johannes Konrad Eugen Rosenberg and Queen Anastazie and would soon be followed by Princess Renata Miroslava Iva Rosenberg and young Prince Petr Johannes Stepan Rosenberg.

As a child, Alexei had a very weak body and bad health which he inherited from his father. Often, the young boy would be bedridden for weeks on end due to a common flu or cold, which hindered his studies. He was often forbidden to train in the art of swordsmanship for fear of getting badly injured in practice. Unlearned and untrained in anything and constantly sick, Alexei caused much pain for his parents and the royal family worried for his future and that of Avalonia.

In the hopes of finding a way to help cure the young prince, royal physicians suggested that he travel south for the winter that brought along with it freezing temperatures, endless snow and biting cold. Many believed that a warmer climate would lessen the chances of illness and give Alexei time to recover. Thus, a letter was sent to the royal family of Valorem in the hopes that they would let Alexei stay in Italy over winter. A reply came in the following weeks and brought great joy and sadness to the Royal Family. Their son would indeed be safer in Italy, but that meant not seeing him for over half of the year.

And thus began Alexei's annual trip south to Valorem. As the years passed, the warm weather greatly helped him recover and strengthen his body. His studies continued without a break and he was able to manage physical training which began when he hit 10 years old. Without the royal duties that he would've had in Avalonia, the Prince had much time to do whatever he wanted. Due to previously being bedridden often, Alexei took up reading and enjoyed the warm sun. He took advantage of being by the ocean and spent much of his time by the sea. He loved breathing in the salty air, feeling the soft sand on his toes, exploring great sail boats or making friends with lively sailors.

Alexei learnt much in those years where he spent free, though obviously closely watched by his poor, anxious bodyguards. Walking and exploring the towns and villages had given him great insight into the lives of the people, both good and bad. He'd seen the great communities of friendly townspeople, the luxurious nobles of the upper class as well as the poor men and women in the slums who had nothing but the clothes on their bodies. He'd seen it all, and it made him all the more wiser.

Around the age of 17, Alexei received word of an engagement between himself and Princess Karina of Avalarion in order to fulfill an age old tradition between the two countries. He had no qualms with the young princess being his fiance, after all, they got along quite well and met each other often whether it was in diplomatic meetings or whenever he passed through Avalarion in his annual travels south. The engagement would definitely had connect the two countries and benefit Avalonia and her people.

A few years later, news reached Italy that King Johannes had passed from illness. The throne was to be handed down to Queen Anastazie to rule in place of Alexei as he was still not ready to be King. Nevertheless, he was called back to Avalonia and hadn't left since, putting all of his focus into his studies and training while closely watching his mother as she ruled.

Avalonia entered into an age of depression due to Queen Anastazie's ill management of the kingdom and her inexperience in ruling it. The people of their country were upset with the royal family and started losing faith in their Ruler, but any conflict was calmed by the hopes that Alexei would soon succeed the throne and return Avalonia to its previous glory.

♚. Why does your candidate want to be King of Kings?:

Alexei does not have an incredible and insatiable drive for the role of King of Kings, after all his main priority is Avalonia. Though, he is the only eligible Rosenberg currently and is simply respecting and upholding the 40 year tradition and selection process. If he were to become King of Kings, it would be good exposure for his country and he would learn much as a leader and grow as a person, further benefiting his home land if he were to return and rule as King Alexei.

As King of Kings, he would apply the wisdom and knowledge he'd gained as a child from his far travels in the hopes of giving hope to those with none. Working from small to big, he'd work to unite communities under their leaders. He'd find ways to give those at the bottom second chance at redemption, at picking up the pieces of their lives and living as a human being again.

Eventually he hopes to unite the multiple countries in the hopes of a prosperous future, but the chances of such being achieved in his life time are slim. At the most, he would hope to change the lives of the people.


♚. What do they think of the Selection process of choosing a King of Kings?: The selection process gives all a chance to the throne of the King of Kings, regardless of what country they are from. They are responsible for showing their potential as a leader and the best will be voted up by the citizens.

Though good a process, there is much potential for corruption or unfairness if not well managed. For example, many people, especially the uneducated, will merely vote for the person they most favor regardless of their potential as a true leader. The popular figures will gain an advantage over their contestants.

People of larger countries may also have an advantage as they are known best by their own citizens. A large population will most likely vote for their own ruler due to the knowledge and trust they would already have in him/her. Though the selection process is a year long and leaves much time for the contestants to show their colours to the people, not necessarily everything can be learned.

Though over all, the selection process is one of the best as of now.

Alexei is notably knowledgeable in terms of country affairs due to his travels. He has had a hand in politics and has also seen the many sides of a country, the good and the bad. He understands the inner makings of a country and, due to his relationships, learnt copious amounts from the various royal families he'd stayed with.
He is an upcoming swordsman but due to his health and late training, he is still far from being able to win a fight.

COUNTRY HISTORY


Charun is believed to be the last of the Phoenician queens, the beylerbey (translation: the commander of commanders), a title bestowed onto the reigning ruler of Libya. Libya does not recognise constitutional monarchy as most other countries do; the beylerbey is head of military and therefore, the highest ranking official and strongest of the Janissaries in Libya, whereas other countries would pass power to the next in the line of succession. With a beylerbey system in place, it ensures no family can reign for dynasties. Power can transfer to the poorest man in Libya, as long as they win the Klāv―a coliseum battle that takes place when the beylerbey dies or steps down from power. Fortunately, even if the poorest man in Libya wins, the capitol state of power has several militaristic and political officials to help ensure a smooth transition of power and a healthy reign (i.e. the officials will ensure there cannot be a tyrannical rule. There can be a 'different' ruling, but nothing drastic. It is a system that checks power to ensure the beylerbey does not use power incorrectly). For Charun, she won the Klāv and has now reigned for eight years. They call her the visionary commander; the beylerbey that has moved industrial and economic progression forward. She controls the empire from the state stronghold of Syreni, one of the five Pentapolis' of Libya.

Unfortunately, for several generations Libya has been under Roman rule (thus many Libyans speak Arabic and Latin fluently, or at least conversationally). Libya was still it's own country, but it's government and political workings were overseen by the Roman Empire. They could depose of the current beylerbey if they resisted or showed any form of aggression against their empire. Libyans were required to allow Roman officials to stay in Syreni and to sign off on all official documents. One document drafted by the Romans required that all Libyans were obligated to surrender a quarter of their profits (monetary, food, water, slaves, et cœtera) to the Romans, which hurt their economy. But the beylerbey before Charun was a shrewd man, The Thueban, they called him. The Snake. He expertly crumbled Roman occupation of Libya by seizing ambassadors and discovering ultimatums. After thirty-two years of Roman resistance they finally surrendered and moved it's borders away from the African country, Libya was an independent, free country. But it needed many years to repair and reconstruct itself to a true 'Libyan' country. The Pentapolis' were distinctly constructed to match Roman architecture: columns, pantheons, frescoes, et cœtera. The architecture was beautiful, but it wasn't their Libya. The beylerbey in the capitol gathered new ambassadors and officials to fill vacant roles left by old Roman people, and together, they moved the country towards isolationism and closed trade routes to rebuild.

It would be decades before the country was restored, and many of it's citizens still spoke Latin, practised Paganism, and modelled cities after Roman architecture. Some even resisted Libyan independence and left the country. But The Snake was determined. A kind, free, and fair Libya was in the future.

The Snake died before he could finish reconstructing Libya, and his successor was Charun Baal. She wanted to continue the vision he had for the country, but differently: she wanted to move away from isolationism and reopen trade with other countries to bring more wealth and prosperity to the cities. But doing so was dangerous: the neighbouring country of Egypt began what was known as the Red Raids in smaller Libyan cities and at least one of the Pentapolis cities―Elbeida. These raids were violent and often left towns in shambles and people killed. To counter the Red Raids, Charun mobilised the Janissaries, an elite infantry sent to protect civilisations and to retaliate against Egypt. It was meant to be a retaliation and nothing more, but the Janissaries discovered riches; things that would bring growth to Libya. So the raids continued for many years, slowly chipping away at Egyptian and Libyan empires.




PERSONAL HISTORY


Charun Baal was born to Janissaries in the Pentapolis of Syreni ~70 years after Libyan independence. Her father's ancestry once had a beylerbey on the throne centuries ago making the family well-acquainted with Libyan history and government. But because Charun was born a woman and the country recognises patriarchal power, she will be the last Phoenician queen should she win the Klāv—therefore ending the Baal bloodline.

She travelled between the Pentapolis' in her early years to train for the Klāv; the cities are well-known for their diversity and difference in culture, despite being so close together. Syreni was well-known as the seaside city with warriors that were powerful swimmers and sailors. Elbeida was called the 'Desert Polis', the quiet city in the dunes of the Sahara with fighters that were trained in stealth, and so on.
When Charun was in El Attief, news of The Snake's death spread through Libya, and it was time for the Klāv to start again. To decide the next beylerbey to lead their proud desert country; the new Commander of Commanders. Would they regress to Roman occupation again? Or would they further The Snake's vision of a free Libya? No one knew, but this Klāv was going to change the country no matter the outcome.

Charun, a Janissary returned to Syreni when news of the The Snake's death where the battle would be held. Her weapon of choice? A simple wooden pole. Not too sharp, not too heavy; the only damage she would be able to inflict were blunt attacks. There were forty-seven fighters in the coliseum. The rules were simple: fight to the last person standing.
Expectedly, Charun won without killing anyone (though several were killed by others); she won with quick and precise jabs with the ends of her pole into her enemies' throats or abdomen, crushing the trachea and cutting off air supply. Nevertheless, the coliseum roared to life with cheers and awws when their favoured contestant lost.
Charun ascended the Commander's throne the following week as the new beylerbey of Libya, and she would rule as the visionary, the one who would further a free Libya, but differently.

She broke down isolationism and reopened trade with the Middle East and Europe. One particular trade proved to be beneficial to Libya: the one with Cyprus. Cyprus found Charun to be a favourable ruler and offered to form a closer tie: an alliance between the two countries. The alliance was put to test when Egypt attacked Libya's borders destroying several small towns in the Sahara Desert and on of the Pentapolis cities. Libya, angry at their closest neighbour, retaliated. These battles and retaliation between Libya and Egypt were known as the Red Raids. Wind of the violent raids on Libya reached Cyprus, as did a personalised letter from Charun. To help Libya, Cyprus closed it's trade routes with Egypt and cut off sea trade thus 'choking' Egypt from gaining European and Middle Eastern supplies to continue the Red Raids.

Libya was forced to halt the raidings when word from the Main Kingdom came that the last ruler, King Medici was stepping down after a forty year reign. Charun saw this as an opportunity: she can win the title, King of Kings and use the alliances formed to stop the Red Raids and crumble Egypt's empire once and for all.




LIBYA


• Pentapolis: Elbeida, Syreni, Ptolemais, Banbara, and El Atteuf.( These five cities surround the holy land where the Garamantes people come from in a five-pointed star position. It is believed that they guard the holy land and someday it will rise to bring salvation. )
• Wadi Mathendous: The infamous rock paintings from old world Libya. Many of it's citizens come here to pray to the paintings, believing it was a message left behind by the Garamantes: a way to the next world.
• Mountains of Jebel Acasus: The perilous cliffs that divide Libya from Algeria. It is supposedly why there has never been a raid between the two countries; the walls are too hard to scale unless you went around by the Sahara Desert or the Mediterranean.
• Sahara Desert: The desert the divides Libya from Egypt, also the a place where the Red Raids frequently clashed.

• Janissaries: The Janissaries are elite infantry units that formed the beylerbey's household troops, bodyguards and the first standing army. They began as an elite corps of slaves made up of conscripted young Muslim boys, and became famed for internal cohesion cemented by strict discipline and order. They are forbidden to marry or engage in trade as complete loyalty to the beylerbey was expected.
• Garamantes: They are the saints, the holy/sacred people. An ancient Libyan tribe who developed an advanced civilisation. They used an elaborate underground irrigation system, and founded the prosperous Pentipolis' and city-states of Libya.
• Cave Lily: Libya may be a desert kingdom, but it's not without a desert beauty, the cave lily is one. It is a dark, glossy foliage with white flowers that grow on the ceilings of wet caves. It blooms only in the darkness and is rare to find. It is said that if you offer a cave lily to a loved one, your love lasts forever.
• Juxi Root: A lumpy, tuber-like root that some swear grows to resemble a pig. Juxi root is prised by culinary conscious. Eaten raw, this tuber has a crisp, sweet flavour, but Libyan cooks dry it and grind it into fine powder used to spice and flavour foods. Can be found in abundance.

society::: those who reside in the kingdom of baekje tend to be more reserved, as the royal family tends to follow this social pattern. people keep to themselves, and are wary of those who break the normal pattern they follow. those from outside the kingdom are not trusted unless they are praised by the royal family. the people of the kingdom are extremely loyal to the royal family, and peace within the kingdom is how it has always been. however, the kingdom secludes itself from most contact from other kingdoms. trade is conducted with a select few countries for only necessities, and travel is something generally looked down upon unless one is a merchant.

the distribution of wealth within the kingdom spreads radially from the royal palace, with the royal family being the richest of all the citizens, followed by lesser nobles, then through doctors and scholars residing outside of the general palace area. the poorest and often least educated part of the kingdom lays on the outskirts of the kingdom in the farmers within the country. the minimal exceptions to this rule are the priests that reside close to the palace, who often take little pay but live among the wealthy to lead their religious practices. speaking of religion, most of the kingdom strictly follows the religion practiced by the royal family, and all citizens take part in the two main religious ceremonies every year. there is minimal religious deviation within any community, and said people are generally outcast by most of society. it is often that painters, dancers, and singers are often looked down upon unless they perform for a noble family. these are typically the least respected professions one could take in the kingdom. most citizens of baekje pursue farming or medicine, and find little reason in following occupations related to the arts.

in regards to education, it is typically mandatory for every person born under wealth to be properly educated, meaning literate and comprehensive regarding simple medicine. a wide library is often a sign of large wealth for a family, and education is something prized by those who can afford it. it is not often that farming families get this opportunity. merchant families typically only provide his education to their sons, as that is usually all they can afford.
occupation::: as the kingdom's climate does not give a large chance for a surplus of food to be produced by a single farmer, much of the kingdom is employed as farmers. this is typically taken by those who live farther from the royal palace, as there is more open space for farmland there. those born under nobility or wealth, who typically live closer to the palace, have the opportunity to take more intellectual professions, such as medicine. becoming employed in the arts is generally something that is looked down upon by the general people unless it is for the royal family, and is not pursued by most due to both society's perception of it and the general lack of artistic resources outside of ink for writing. in the small percent of those who do pursue this, writers and poets are more common than those partaking in the visual arts.

out of all of these, baekje is most known for its proficiency in medicine. the kingdom's doctors are some of the most well respected in the world, and are particularly advanced in the subject compared to other countries. doctors from baeke are well-versed in many types of medicine, whether it be antidotes to certain poisons, cures to common ailments, ways to take care of dangerous wounds, and how to minimize the pain from terminal diseases. it is rare to find a doctor in baekje that does not deserve the wide praise given to those in that field of work. those in the field often study under the doctor of the royal family for years before being allowed to practice in the public, so the praise given is definitely well deserved.
religion::: the kingdom mainly practices a specialized form of animism, attributing the seasons, weather, and nature to certain spirits and gods. the most popular branch of this religion mainly follows the moon goddess dal bit, but others may prioritize other minor gods or goddesses to suit their lifestyle. however, the royal family practices the more common branch of the religion, and leads all of the important festivals yearly.

the yearly moon festival is held on the winter solstice, as that is when the sun gives more time for the moon to shine. during this festival, followers pray to the goddess to light their way through the cold winter and grant them good luck for the new year. the festivities often carry on until the following full moon. the opposing sun festival takes place on the summer solstice, and followers of the religion pray to the sun god, taeshin, for a blessed growing season and for health and happiness. this festival is not as major as the moon festival and only lasts for two days. these two festivals are the ones that are practiced by the whole kingdom, but other holy days may be celebrated individually.

lack of trust: as a side effect of living in baekje, it is rare that he trusts anyone not from his kingdom straight away. his trust is to be won, expect to jump through hoops to get on his better side. without it, it is likely he will be impersonal and cold to you.
reclusive: hanmin doesn't get out much. he is quiet and secretive by nature, even though he has quite little to hide. it's a bit more difficult to edge out responses from him in regards to touchier subjects.
passive: hanmin rarely takes action on his own. he is generally avoidant of conflict and often has others do his bidding, no matter how small. this ties in with his lack of ability to follow things through.
weak-willed: hanmin does what he's told. to some, this is a virtue. hanmin's lack of a proper backbone when it comes to making decisions on his own can be of use to many people, which only hurts hanmin in time.

history::: wang hanmin is the first son of king hanyoung, born from the man's second wife. he is not the eldest child in his family, as the king's first wife had 3 daughters before the king wed again. lee yoomi gave birth to hanmin in the middle of summer. as he grew, hanmin rarely had contact with his father outside of political meetings or festivals, where he had to be at the older man's side. his mother often left the boy to servants as opposed to caring for him herself, only checking and doting on him as needed to keep his familial connection to her intact. as a result, hanmin grew to be very distant from the rest of his family. he didn't mind this of course, as he was an introverted child to begin with, but it disappointed him sometimes when his parents didn't go to see his archery competitions with the other noble boys, or other events he wanted praise for. he often felt closer to the servants who attended him than his family. during this period of time, hanmin developed his extreme perfectionism. to him, it seemed like his parents only cared when he was acting and doing everything perfectly, so he didn't let himself act any differently than just that. he buried himself in his studies, hoping that academic success would bring their attention to him, and it did.

lee yoomi was a spiteful woman, not that hanmin would ever admit it. she noticed her son's advanced knowledge of medicines that he had been garnering, and being the cunning woman she was, formed a plan. it was easier than she had even originally thought. you see, hanmin was so attention starved that even the lightest of praises wrapped the now adolescent boy around her finger, right where she wanted him. lee yoomi was a jealous woman, hungry for power that was out of her reach and ruthless about anything she could do to gain it. she had given the king his first son, had she not? it was simple, she wanted to be queen. the current queen had given the king another son at that point, but such small things did not matter to her. she wanted to be at the top. her request was simple, concoct a poison to kill the queen with, or she'd kill the person he was closest to. at this point in time, there was something close to an affair with the young prince and one of his servants. it was obvious to the woman, who had been watching hanmin like a hawk since she had devised her plan. he was taken aback, cornered into doing something he would never do on his own. however, the naive boy felt like he had no choice to accept and comply with his mother's plot. the queen was dead the next morning, and his servant hung for treason by afternoon. yoomi had ordered her to take the poison to the queen to get rid of her. it was killing two birds with one stone, was it not? she knocked down the woman in her way, and she got rid of the woman that blocked her son's way to success. how could she let the future king fall in love with some servant? it was against her dignity.

it was safe to say that hanmin was not the same after that incident. he received no repercussions himself from it, as his mother had shifted all blame onto seoyi. he secluded himself from the kingdom's festivities for a year and a half. he hadn't expected himself to be so affected by the event, but he found that everywhere he went made him feel hopeless. over that period of time, hanjae, his younger brother, had grown into a proper prince. what he heard about the other boy, when he heard it, never lightened his mood. he was family, but hearing praise after praise only drove salt into the open wound that was his grief. not only had he lost a loved one and gone against his morals, he was practically losing his place as crown prince. technically, he would be the crown prince until he died, but it was clear who the more popular prince among the public was. in fact, this was all but subtly implied when the king summoned him to send him of to the selection. he was getting rid of him. it wasn't a surprise, but he didn't protest. perhaps it was best to get away from baekje, perhaps he needed it.
why do they want to become the king of kings::: his father forced the decision on him. he didn't care either way, but he suspects it is because the king would prefer his younger brother to be the king of baekje instead of him.
what do they think of the selection::: he has no problem with the selection. it's tradition after all, and hanmin is not one for unnecessarily disagreeing with things that are inevitable.

Most of El Krabah is dry, arid and sandy, with rolling sand dunes and sweltering heat. As such the river Noa that runs through the centre of the land and out into neighbouring countries is highly revered and most people live as near to the river as possible where there is the best and most fertile land for farming because of the silt the river produces when it floods once a year. Every year, the combination of melting snow and heavy rains in the southern mountains increases the amount of water being channelled into the Noa. This extra water makes the river overflow and flood its banks.

The flood waters cover the fertile land where the farmers grow crops, making farming impossible. But within a few months, the flood waters recede, leaving the fields ready for ploughing and planting again.

At night temperatures drop to freezing. There are no real seasons in El Krabah.

Many common people use the river to transport goods to neighbouring kingdoms such as wine, fruit, grain and precious gems buried deep beneath the ground. The river Noa has several channels, some leading to the Mediterranean sea and others running through the desert land where turquoise mines lie beneath the sand ready to be turned into jewellery and cosmetics for the Ramanu (queen). Also in the desert are sandstone quarries. Sandstone is used to build the royal palaces and temples for the gods. The mines of the eastern desert produce important natural resources like gold and semi-precious stones.

The people of El Krabah use these materials to make jewellery and special objects for the ruler and their family, members of the nobility, and temples.

to the north of the river is the Mediterranean sea. One must travel downstream to reach it. To the east of the river is the red sea.

The people of El Krabah quarry many different types of stone. Limestone, sandstone and granite are some of the most common stones used in making statues, and building temples.

An oasis is an area of land in the middle of a desert with a natural water source. Some of the oases in El Krabah are large enough so that people can settle there and grow fruit and grain. One oasis is actually the site of a vineyard which produces wine for the Ramanu.

Things such as Malachite, Amethyst, gold, copper and granite were usually mined and quarried in the south whilst carnelian, quartzite, alabaster, limestone and turquoise were found in the north near the Mediterranean sea

For the vast majority of the population of El Krabah, life consists of hard graft working to harvest in the fertile lands and transport goods from one place to the next as well as trading for things one cannot afford.The people of El Krabah are particularly skilled jewellers too, doing trade with all the biggest countries across the equator and are renowned for having many of their jewellers travel across seas to become personal jewellery makers for foreign royals. There are recreational places to commune such as the Temple of Anum-Za the goddess of merriment. Each village seems to have its own temple for Anum-Za as she is a popular and well loved goddess.

The most common food for the common people of El Krabah is bread as well as duck if it can be hunted and caught. All people must give a cut of their monthly harvest as tax to the Ramani. General life in the land is fairly pleasant if hard for those nearer the dangerous desert lands. Fortunately only the mysterious nomadic people ever live in the desert and most of El Krabah avoid them, believing them to be dark sorcerers and/or bandits.

The legal age one can be married in El Krabah is 16 and women always choose who is to be their husband, with the men having little say in the matter, for the women are highly revered.

Birthdays are rarely celebrated. The only birthdays that are significant are the first, sixteenth and thirtieth. Life expectancy is up to sixty for both genders though women usually are blessed with longer lives by the god of mortality who's name is unknown.

The harvest festival is the most important day of the year and is akin to Christmas with the giving of gifts. The river god Dhiraki is celebrated as is the sun goddess Ramani. Music, poetry, street performers and merriment is plentiful in the streets at that time and it is the one time of year that most of the country ever see their ruler and their family who will walk among the people greeting them cordially or otherwise.
♚. Occupation: As stated before, due to the lands riches in semi precious gems and gold, the people of El Krabah are well known for their skill at crafting jewellery. Many of the people create and design jewellery pieces for nobles the world over. El Krabahians are also incredibly skilled and advanced architects and builders, having built intricate temples and palaces for centuries without anyone else knowing how they were built. Most people are simple farmers however, as this is the easiest way to live and provide for families.
♚. Religion: The people of El Krabah do not have a name for their religion, perhaps the best way to describe it is polytheistic gnosticism. Their religion is a sacred and mysterious one with many gods for many different things. Jitara's name means 'anointed one'. It is common amongst the female rulers throughout El Krabah's history. Jitara is the 16th monarch with the name. Ramanu is a royal title stemming from the name of the sun goddess. The people of El Krabah believe their rulers to be specially attuned to the will of the gods. Kahni is the given family and current dynasty name.

*Noa'Takamoa is Jitara's elder twin brother and his name means 'river of the mind'. It is a relatively uncommon royal name and is actually given more amongst the common people. Dhiraku is the diminutive of the god Dhiraki and is a royal title similar to a prince. Even as the ruler of El Krabah, a man will never be seen as more than a prince regent as Ramani and female rulers are regarded sacred. A Ramanu is akin to being a pharaoh or Queen regent

El Krabah was founded one thousand years ago by nomadic travellers from the east. A woman called Kaillani Vashti and her lover, a mystical Magi called Baylith Fehr. Together they began to cultivate the land and settled there with their twelve children and their respective spouses. Over time they built the country we know and became the first official rulers, with some of their grandchildren settling as humble farmhands and others gaining titles as nobles.

The legend has it that this pair were actually the gods Ramani and Dhiraki and their children were either demigods or gods. Over the years several dynasties have ruled the land. Sixteen to be exact, starting with the Tekh Dynasty. The current Dynasty is the Kahni Dynasty that has lasted for one hundred years. Ruling the country is the Dhiraku (Prince regent) Noa'Takamoa Kahni though the rightful ruler is his younger twin sister Ramanu (queen) Jitara Kahni.

In El Krabah women are viewed as sacred and highly enlightened unlike much of the surrounding world. The firstborn female is to take the throne as Ramanu, though if a male is firstborn they will not ever gain the rights to the throne if they have a younger sister unless she is unable to take up her throne.

Nobles are a small percentage of the people of El Krabah and they live in the town of Dantai near to the Palace of Vashti. Their standard of living is much more luxurious than the common people though it is seen as deeply offensive to gloat about this unless one is at a royal banquet arranged by the current monarch. The common people are seen to be just as important to the functioning of society as anyone else, though this works better in theory than in practice.

The nobility and royal family are permitted to have house servants and most do choose this. A very small minority of nobles choose to do all of their own daily labour.

There are twenty villages and towns in El Krabah all under the rule of the Ramanu or Dhiraku. They are all dotted around the banks of the Noa river or near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

♚. Personality: It seems that from birth Noa had an unquenchable thirst to prove himself. From an early age young Noa was quick to show his competitive, rash and ambitious nature. Noa learned that no matter how well he did or how much he achieved on his own merit, he would never be loved as much as his beautiful baby twin sister Jitara for one simple reason: he was born a male.

The unfairness of the situation caused him to observe his sister carefully, making sure to excel in all areas that she did not. Noa learned to be charming, persuasive and charismatic, qualities that his sister had never possessed. He became quite the adventurer and risk taker, bold and outspoken. The one thing that he could be which she could not was himself. As a man he realised their were absolutely no expectations of him but to revere and respect the women of his life. That he did, though he never failed to sweep them off their feet with empty words that brought them to his bed chambers.

Petulant, stubborn and foolhardy he may be, but Noa is certainly smart, cunning even. He will use his unique talent for charming to get what he wants. Noa is also a caring person, though obviously resentful of his sister, which she is well aware of, he also adores her and would never wish her harm or mistreat her. She is the closest person to him in his life and though his circle of noble acquaintances is vast, she is his one true friend.
- Virtues:
People Person- Noa can read people and their motivations very well. This makes him great at extracting important information from the things unconsciously said to him.
Quick Thinker- Noa is not particularly inclined to erudition or academic pursuits but he is wonderful at finding a quick way out of a tough spot, something he has to do on numerous occasions.
Compassionate- Especially toward the most vulnerable in the land. It was much easier to help out the elderly or disabled or children when he had less responsibility and more freedom to do as he wished.
Striver- Noa will never settle for less than his best at anything. He will systematically learn how to be better at something if he must. On several occasions he has asked some of his female companions how best to serve them in more ways than one.
Short-term Planning- Hand in hand with his quick thinking is his ability to plan for short term successes. This means he lacks somewhat in long term strategy and is the type to seek instant gratification.
- Vices:
Petulant- Born out of his longing to be accepted and loved, Noa can be very impatient and childish. He can be rash and will not always think before he speaks, causing offence at times.
Cocky- This can be seen as both a vice and a virtue. Noa knows that his wealth, position as a royal and natural charm are a cocktail for gaining the affections of beautiful women. He is openly unashamed of this.
Hedonistic- Noa's love of instant gratification can lead to a very excessive lifestyle of banquets, women and merriment. Suffice it to say that Anum-Za is one of his favourite goddesses. His lavish lifestyle comes directly into conflict with his desire to help the less fortunate people in his land.
Over Protective- This only applies to his sister. He is incredibly protective of Jitara. Almost suffocatingly so. It pains him greatly to be away from her, not knowing whether she is safe or even alive. Going hand in hand with this is his slight obsessiveness over the people he loves ardently.
♚. Quirks: Rubs his nose when telling a lie, paces in huge strides when anxious or bored
♚. History: Noa'Takamoa was born to Queen Vora and her husband Baylith at a time of great prosperity in the land of El Krabah brought about solely by Queen Vora and her wisdom. The loving couple had of course hoped for a bouncing baby girl to uphold the rule of the kingdom someday. After all, it was what the people expected, what the gods had planned according to the wisdom of the Seer Virgins. The disappointment of being presented with a boy at birth cannot be understated. Oh he could rule of course, but he would never be the revered queen promised to them.

Queen Vora held her son in her arms with tears in her eyes tinged with both grave disappointment and over-whelming joy at receiving her first born whom she named after the river Noa. Next to everyone's surprise came another child, two minutes later. A girl! A beautiful radiant sun beam of hope for the dynasty and its legacy. Almost immediately, baby Noa was all but forgotten.

For the rest of his life he would be haunted with the knowledge that he would never be as wonderful as his sister. Though he resented her position, he adored her for her reserved nature and the way she would always look out for him when he was in trouble. Their bond was such that they could even tell what the other was feeling and thinking, a telepathic connection that neither of them can understand to this day. Though he knew without a doubt that Jitara loved him, it was no such way with his parents.

King Baylith in particular raised his son in a hands-off way that made it clear he was a disappointment, and though his mother Vora would show him love, nothing he did could satisfy them. Even the young servant girl they had taken in named Safiya got more attention than him, something which irked him all throughout his life as a child and slightly less ass a teenager.

As the years passed, Noa realised that he could do pretty much anything and it would make no difference to his status in his parents' eyes. There was a certain freedom in being inconsequential. He began to sneak out of the Palace of Vashti and into the unknown world of the common folk, finding that he was generally well received amongst them, feeling more at home than he ever had at home. Most days he would sneak out and bring the finest food for the people of the nearby village, Makeshna. All the time the people were unaware that they had befriended their prince as most citizens of El Krabah never catch a glimpse of their ruler in their lives. To them he was simply a kind servant of the Queen.

During his time of growing up, he had developed a one-sided competition with his sister to prove that he was more suited to rule than she; training endlessly to show his biologically acquired superior strength, learning her weaknesses and exploiting them, and sometimes getting into heated arguments with her about who truly had the better life. The constant competition between the pair had begun to take its toll on their mother who unbeknown to them was slowly dying of an unknown disease that none of the best physicians could diagnose.

With Princess Jitara suddenly going missing three days before her coronation as the new Ramanu and his mother passing away due to the terminal disease and her grief, Noa has been forced to take on the role he had so longed for, but never believed he would get. With only his grieving and disapproving father, the royal advisers and the favour of the gods to rely on, King Noa is about to embark on the challenge of a lifetime whilst grieving the loss of the two people he holds most dear. Fortunately, he is not quite as alone as he might fear, as Jitara's handmaiden Safiya whom he had once teased relentlessly as a child has been entrusted as his servant. The pair have formed a unique if slightly strained bond since Jitara's disappearance and though he will not admit it, life is a little bit easier to bear with her around.

♚. Why does your candidate want to be King of Kings?: Truly taking the decision to run for King of Kings was reckless and irresponsible on Noa's part. He was advised against it having only been the King of El Krabah for six months. Noa wanted to do it as a way to prove to his nation that their archaic views on gender roles were incorrect, but more importantly he hopes the he might discover the whereabouts of his sister Jitara who would never be the type to run away from her responsibilities. His supernatural connection to her simply intuits that she is out there somewhere.

There is still a slight roundness to his cheeks giving him the look of a sweet yet petulant child, perhaps to match his general attitude. His shoulders are fairly broad and his torso is muscular from all of the training he does.
♚. Clothing Style: Like all men in El Krabah, Noa wears a linen kilt and no shirt as it is far too hot a climate to do so. For ceremonies he will wear a gold and turquoise headdress and gold cuffs on his wrists. On a regular basis he, like everyone who can afford it wears black kohl around his eyes to keep out the blazing sunlight.

History:

♚. History: If life had been completely within her control Jitara would have lived her whole life in the beautiful desert lands of her home and died there proudly. She is a true woman of El Krabah if ever there was one. From an early age she was doted upon by her father King Baylith and reared in a strict yet loving way by her formidable mother Queen Vora.

When her parents were too busy to look after her, she was raised by her strict nurse Kareena who taught her what it means to be an exceptional woman. Lessons were difficult and as a child Jitara found it hard to understand why she ought to be demure and wild at the same time, much less what either of those things meant. Soon enough she learned however, becoming an exceptional example of 'womanhood'.

Though she was given anything she would ask for., Jitara always felt lonely as a child and did not get along with the other noblewomen of her family, since vanity and gossiping did not come naturally to her. She took solace in the bright optimism of her elder twin brother Noa. He would always do his best to keep things in perspective and get her to let loose occasionally, but they would also clash over their mutual envy of each other.

At the age of seven, Jitara was to meet her closest friend in the world. Queen Vora had taken a young girl named Safiya into the care of the palace. Safiya was the first commoner Jitara had ever met and though at first a little suspicious and cautious, the young princess learned to like her and for the first couple of years of Safiya living in the palace Jitara took on a sisterly role to the little girl.

As they grew up, Jitara and Safiya became inseparable as Jitara navigated the bickering of her best friend and her brother Noa. Once Safiya turned sixteen it was only natural that Jitara took her on as her personal handmaiden. Now that Jitara is stuck serving in a foreign land, she pines for her friend and her brother Noa.

Three days before her coronation, Princess Jitara's life was changed forever. For almost a century, mysterious bandits have lived on the outskirts of El Krabah in the cruel deserts, plotting a revolution to destroy the rule of the monarchy and achieve true happiness in the land. These bandits were said to be traitors of the country, common folk dissatisfied with how their country was run. As such they have tried to eliminate previous rulers and Jitara is no exception. After an attack by the bandits on the nearby village of Val Tanum, Princess Jitara insisted upon travelling to the village to reassure victims, accompanied of course by guards. However she was caught in the middle of another bandit attack in which, realising her identity, they took her hostage in exchange for gold and influence.

Though trained in combat, Jitara was brutally knocked unconscious and overwhelmed by the sheer amount of bandits. Eventually Jitara was sold to slavers from the East for a handsome price and when she came to she was already far from her home and shackled up in the back of a cart unable to escape. After perhaps a couple of months travel by land and sea alike, The slavers made their way to the borders of a land called Götnorsvea, a land not on good terms with her own. Fortunately however, the guards stopped the traders and ordered that she be released as per country laws.

She was taken to the castle for the King to decide her fate and open seeing who she was, the King knew he could not very well send her back straight away for fear of the people of El Krabah believing he had had her kindnapped and held for ransom. The countries had always had a tumultuous relationship. For the safety of his country more than her sake, he allowed her to stay on as a handmaiden for his daughter Princess Freja, deciding that the best way to reunite her with her country was at the neutral Main Empire when the King of Kings would be crowned.

Meanwhile Princess Jitara has been presumed dead by her country for the past six months. Only Noa believes her to be alive and vows to find her.

Underneath the Surface

♚. Personality: Jitara and her twin brother Noa could not be more different. From the moment she was born all Jitara has known is the pressure to succeed and unwanted attention. With two doting parents and an over-protective twin brother, life was suffocating for the princess. As a woman, future queen and supposed vessel of the gods, it's no real wonder that Jitara is a picture of stoic aloofness. Perfectionist to the core, Jitara does not accept failure and is incredibly hard on herself. She is naturally reserved, holding her cards close to her chest and never feeling free to show her emotions.

She envies the ease with which Noa expresses himself and the freedom he has to be whoever he wants to be. As is customary and traditional in El Krabah, Jitara is expected to be strong yet soft, emotional yet pragmatic, alluring yet innocent, authoritative yet submissive and a numerous amount of other oxymorons. She tries her best to fulfil her role, but Jitara simply is not most of those things.

Her biggest strength is her deeply felt sense of duty to her people. It gives her the resolve to continue parading the lie that she is the perfect embodiment of femininity and masculinity that she is not. All that she does is coloured with her belief that the people always come first. Jitara dislikes being the centre of attention, wearing fancy and elaborate makeup or being forced into uncomfortable situations. However due to her need to keep the peace she is rarely vocal about her distaste and can play the part convincingly enough after so many years of drilling.

When in the company of he beloved brother she becomes her true self, letting her guard down and letting her fiery inner spirit come to the fore. She is not particularly humorous but there is a certain charm to her that is hard to place. She is highly intelligent with a love of structure, though Noa brings out her adventurous side as much as he is able. She has a strong maternal instinct which is the quality most revered amongst the people of El Krabah and is the most authentic part of herself that people notice when around her.
- Virtues:
Intellectual- Jitara is very interested in learning and always liked her private tuition. She takes a genuine interest in the politics of other countries and was something of a teacher's pet as a child and teenager.
Nurturing- For someone so aloof it is surprising to note that a maternal and nurturing instinct comes naturally to Jitara. She has an inbuilt need to protect and provide for anyone she deems vulnerable, a trait shared with her brother.
Romantic- Few have ever wooed the princess, but those who have are lucky indeed. Jitara does not spread her affection round to just anyone and the one who captures her heart will see first hand how loving she truly is.
Dependable- Jitara prides herself on being reliable and responsible. She loves long term plans and commitments and is dedicated to her country
Fierce- One would be terribly foolish to push her patience to the edge. This princess is not to be trifled with as she can hold a grudge for the rest of her days and act on said grudge in a deadly way if she must.
- Vices:
Cynical- Jitara does not trust the motivations of anyone including those closest to her. As she is put on an impossibly high pedestal by all and is not seen as anything more than an ideal, she realises all too well that people will misuse her status for gain.
Distant- Jitara maintains a certain formal distance with everyone even when she is being sociable. Sometimes she can come across as disingenuous because of her need to fit the situation she is in perfectly.
Overly Cautious- Jitara is very risk averse for fear of messing up, which means many life experiences are closed to her.
Sheltered- For all the things she has learned about the world from books and tutors, nothing beats real life experience, something she lacks in many areas. At times she will seem unintentionally naive which can be endearing.
Terrible Comic Timing- By no means is this a real vice, but it is true that Jitara has a very bad sense of humour. She can find other people funny, but she cannot entertain for the life of her.

♚. Clothing Style: Back home in El Krabah, Jitara would wear the traditional linen dresses, open toed gladiator sandals and a few choice pieces of turquoise jewellery. Now that she is a handmaiden in a much colder climate, more clothing is required which she is certainly unused to.

Safiya is a rather petite young woman with a small frame. Her figure is decently fit for her own posture and self. Her skin-tone is rather tanned, like a shade of caramel which is expected since she is adapted to living in such warm, harsh temperatures of the desserts. Her skin tone makes her beady light green eyes contrast and stand out. Her light brown hair falls down in nice wavy locks down till her mid-back, however the longest it had ever been was just under her buttocks.It is usually kept and left hanging unless she wears her veil which is then two front strands are clipped back together with it. For her age, she is rather average in height, after all she need not be too tall nor too short. She was simply decent. Saf bears no scars nor burns or birthmarks... however she does have an inked sun at the back of her neck, the same symbol on the El-Krabah flag, which was given to her by the royal monarchy. Together with that, she has and filled crescent moon at the back of her ear representing her origin.​

Clothing Style
Special Occasions: A long white haltered, skin tight white dress being see through from the knees downward. Hugging her waist is a golden belt which the edge hanging down the front of her skirt with white flecks of embroidery. A matching neck piece accompanied the outfit. Also a veil (minus the crown) covers her hair partially as her feet are hugged with golden sandals. A swirled golden arm band hugging her right bicep.
Common Serving Clothing: On a completely different note, her servant clothing is rather... exposing. Consists of two piece clothing - usually in the color bronze or ivory, a bra-let type of drapery that covers her bust and a necklace falling just above her exposed navel, together with matching flowing pants that tightened the bagged the lower they got from her waist. That paired with a matching see through scarf to wrap around her and some brown flats sealed the deal.

Personality
The most idealistic word to describe Safiya in a nutshell is curious. She has to know everything about everyone. It was how she keeps herself well informed about news and information. She asks way too many questions but sometime has the answers to most asked questions... it flows both ways. She isn't afraid to speak her mind nor hold back her advice. However that depends on who the person on the other side of the conversation is, much because she hated conflicts. This was the reason why she avoided religion and political talks ever so often... because she doesn't want to be in any funny business when she can barely keep her own intact.​

That aside she is rather caring and compassionate towards others. Be it a plant, an animal or a human however to some she may come of as an out of control neat freak or just a general freak. Besides being raised in the palace the only friend she had was the only one she spoke to. As much as she gives advice she was also told that she is a good listener.​

Being said she has her own flaws. The female, like her master, is stubborn and not to mention impulsive. She sometimes tends to do things without thinking and worse of all speak without thinking... which never ends nicely. Upon addition to her organisation and neatness... she may come off as rather fussy but in the end it is all worth as everything is easily found. In a large palace... things can get lost pretty quick. Although not quite shown due to having respects to her superiors, Saf is rather sassy and has her own seductive tendencies (such attitudes are all left at the temple of Amun-Za), although being quiet and shy looking the female has a rather high confidence outside the palace walls. She doesn't hesitate to throw a sarcastic quip or used her own sex appeal to get her own way.

Quirk(s)
The fact that she keeps a written document of what is in a said room and where it is placed just in case she or her sire requests something for her. She knows where to find it.
Every morning, when doing her water run... before returning back to the palace to wake his royal highness, she likes dipping her bare feet in the River Noa. She deems it good luck!

History
Safiya was originally born in the nomad cluster that originated from her birthplace, Kath. Hence she was given the crescent moon tattoo which symbolized them. Keeping themselves on the move this cluster kept at it, changing location for as long as Safiya could remember. Since she was rather young, she didn't get the point. Nomads in El-Krabah had to keep a move as they were looked down upon due to being believed that they were sorcerers and bandits. At the age of five, Safiya had ran off for a bit to see the lovely river flowing, until a young commoner came talking to her. It seemed to have been unacceptable to the nomads and they exiled her from the cluster. It was rather abrupt to exile a five year old but they wished to remain hidden for reasons a small child did not understand.

That being said the little girl she was back then had lived on the streets as a street rat for a few nights...even weeks. Everyday going by the Noa river that coursed between the countries. Each time she remembered dipping her feet in the fresh water and splashing until one day on a run a woman stumbled upon her. A woman that was covered in gold and luxurious clothing and approached her. It was the Queen herself. She took the young girl under her wing and back at the palace. Treating her, Cleaning her. It was from that day on wards that Safiya kept her tradition in dipping her legs in the water of that river as good luck. It was how she had been the moment the Queen had found her.

Growing up in the Palace, she was raised by a nanny. The same nanny that took care of the Princess, Jitara. The royal twins were only two years older than her, however they were her only friends. Really and truly it was only Jitara that she agreed with as they practically inseparable... that is till they were actually separated when they grew up. On the other hand, Noa which was Jiatara's twin brother, would always pester her and get on her nerves which resulted in a rather annoying rivalry to cook. She couldn't stand a second of him by her side let alone under the same roof... it remained like that till this very day only with a slight difference.

At the age of 16, Jitara had taken her as her own personal hand-maiden. With that she was given the traditional marking. A sun at the back of her neck, one that matched the El-Krabah flag. It was a symbol. A symbol that indicated that she was a servant in the palace and that she had resided her childhood inside those walls. With that being said eventually the pair grew closer more than ever. Just as she thought that everything was all set, the news came upon her. Jitara's departure from the palace. They were separated. It was rather painful for both her and the twin brother... it was not fun losing a person that you looked up to and loved. She missed her rather deeply.

During Jitara's absence, it was decided that Safiya transferred her loyalty. From that day on the female was now Noa's personal hand-maiden as the throne shifted onto his shoulders now rather than his sister. It was no joyous news for Saf but she was in no position to argue. Her orders were to serve him, so serve him she shall. The first few adjustments and encounters were edgy and shifty... mainly due to their rocky relationship growing up. Deeming him as an annoying brat who picked at her all the time. However the more time she had spent with him, aiding him, accompanying him... she realized that the boy before her is now a man... a man who actually progressed to mature. Not by much but an evident change was noticed. Greatly. Her point of view on the King started to shift ever so lightly. Now she serves solely by his side.

Weaving: Ever since she was young... the female took a particular interest in the skill of hands. Such skills consist of weaving which is rather popular in the markets. It was a joy for her to stop and watch the woman weave their own items and simply waiting to try them out herself.

Jewelry Crafting: Upon that addition, she also took interest in jewelry making, another hand skill. El-Krabah provided so many semi-precious gems such as precious ones... especially in the palace. It was a joy of hers to craft small simple bracelets and necklaces and giving them to the Queen and her one and only true friend Jitara herself when she was just a little kid.

Patience: Not sure if it's a skill... but it has got to be with the amount of patience she has for personally serving under the wing of her master, being his stubborn self.

Eleanora is a rather petite young woman with decently curved areas where needed, in the right spots. Her figure is decently fit for her own posture and self. Her skin-tone is rather pale however it has some rosy tinges on her cheeks, elbows and in some other relevant areas. Her skin tone makes her piercing blue-grey eyes contrast and stand out. Her previously brown and now chest-nut colored hair falls down in nice wavy locks down till her mid-back, usually found in tight curls at the bottom. It is usually kept and left hanging and pinned at the back with a few pearls. For her age, she is rather average in height, after all she need not be too tall nor too short. She is simply decent. Ella bears no scars nor burns or birthmarks. However for her sign of servitude in the Palace she has it's crest on the back of her right shoulder blade.
Clothing Style
Common Serving Clothing: An ivory colored long gown with two side pieced from her navel being absent. A rose belt round her waist with small thorns on the side. Hair is usually kept with two side braids on each side, tied to the back and the ends of her hair all curled. Common sandals to match.
Special Occasions: 1 ~ 2: Either a teal blue colored gown or a light pastel blue colored gown which falls straight to her feet, nice pair of heels. Hair is usually kept the same as everyday or all pinned up and proper. A belt round her waist that has a rose in the middle and surrounded by the same thorns.

Eleanor's beauty is equaled by her cleverness which she had in rather abundance. She is a protégéé of her aunt, who raised her. Ella is a gifted manipulator who knows how to maneuver her way in court politics. Ella 's strength lies in her loyalty towards her superior, Princess Aine, the ability to win the minds and loyalties of others which had proven a threat to others just as much. As much, Eleanor is a rather charitable being and also tries to influence other to follow in her foot steps.

As much as her tongue plays her role, she possessed the tact and politeness which many tend to lack. She is capable of exuding courtly behavior expected of a hand-maiden if present, while still proving a point for her princess. While some females use sex and weapon as a weapon, she works within the social standards of proper femininity from behind the scenes and on. She tends to have various facades which all depend on who she is trying to extract information from.

She is known to have a genuinely good heart, compassion and empathy. Never had she had any troubles or hate with any other members, excluding those who would want her harm for specific reasons, however she was just a hand-maiden. She is also against social stigmas.​

Quirk(s)
The rose is a symbol of her heritage. She tends to wear either a bronze or silver waist band which is a throne rose consisting of the chain representing the stalk with thorns and the rose petals in front as a buckle attachment. It is the only thing she had as regarding to family heirlooms.
Ever since her aunt, believed to be mother by others in the castle and villages, passed away... she kept painting small portraits and placing them by her grave, in a box she keeps buried together with one rose petal. As a token of love and gratitude for caring for her when her parents passed away. The rose petal was for her signature as the painting was for all the memories they spent together. Elle paints a scene of the past, telling a story in small piece of parchment or canvas.
Brushing the princess' hair. It was a must to do for her and she automatically starts humming a nice hymn.

History
Eleanora Sophia was originally born in the outskirts of Éireann in a small village called Tír na Únais. She is the only child of two artists. It seemed that she had high privileged life. If only her parents were alive. Not that she had anything to complain about to begin with. Artists in Éireann seemed to have deemed equal to nobles in Éireann as it loved the art.

Her father, George Richard Bráden, was an artist and sculptor who completed rather exquisite piece of works for the nobles and royalty. However, to the misfortune of his early aged death due to illness, didn't allow Ella the luxury to get to meet him or get to know him as he did when she wasn't even born, when her mother was still carrying her. While her mother had died giving labor to her, the natural birth was too much to handle for the times being. She was a beautiful young painter who did her fair share of good works herself. That being said Ella was orphaned the second she entered into the world.

Her mother's sister, whom was near her had took her under her wing. Only her aunt was head-maiden in the Palace of Éireann. She took the infant with her and had begged with their highnesses to keep the child and raised her as her own, it was that when her niece became her daughter.

From a young age, Ella was raised in the castle along side the princess, whom clicked ever since. Running around the castle, playing dress up, staying up late while not supposed to. They practically grew up together. However as they grew up, Princess Aine seemed to have started to change in the eyes of people. However not many knew what the princess really was, as much as it is the princess was and still is Ella's best friend and presumably her life line.​


Despite all, she was still her best friend and if she was to be separated from her. She pledged her loyalty to her and became her personal hand-maiden all through out and she kept that pledge. If she sees her best friend going downhill she tells her no matter how she takes it. Eventually, when her aunt passed away the princess had elected her head-maiden while still remaining her personal head-maiden. She attended everywhere with the princess, as if joint to the hip. She was her eyes and ears outside her castle and so on so forth.​

Painting/Art. Despite never knowing her parents, Ella still inherited their genes and so her love for art shined through her. Her skills in art vary from painting to sketches to even mini sculptures however she can never go wrong with some paint and a paint brush.

Evaluating situations and Gaining information. Besides being a hand-maiden the female despite hating it with a burning passion, she had acquired the skill to eavesdrop, gather information - gossip in particular. Getting asked to provide the princess with information was a regular thing and it was something she got accustomed too. Nowadays she considers it a skill as the measures to acquire something are generally getting harder everyday. Her sweet tongue was an aid right there.

Flute Playing. Ella learnt how to play the flute thanks to her aunt as she used to teach her when she was just a little kid. Nowadays she tends to play when she is free, for the princess mostly.

Poison-craft. Her princess assigned her medicine classes which she took advantage of in creating various poisons she even test approves them on little animals. She excels at it.

Viselia is located in the land of Great Britain, north of the European Mainland. The land of Viselia covers over 80,823 sq miles of land. It has astonishing scenery that attracts many people from all over europe, possibly even the world.. The lands are fertile and is flourishing with flowers, some areas in the land are covered entirely of wonderful flowers. There are many crop fields and Farms scattered all over the Kingdom. They would often be seen when traveling.

Viselia has four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The season changed every three months. Spring, where the flowers bloom and the trees recover their leaves, this season starts in march and ends in may. Summer, the hottest of the four seasons, starts in June and ends in August. Autumn, where trees begin to shed their leaves starts in September and ends in November. Winter, the coldest of all four seasons, where lands are covered with snow and small water sources are frozen, starts in December and ends in February. The summer in Viselia is cooler than those on the continent, but the winters are milder.

The Capital is located in the Middle of the kingdom, the city is surrounded by fields of wonderful flowers. Some calls it the 'Viselian Paradise', a land of beauty and bounty. While it is beautiful, do not be deceived by it's magnificent surroundings, the city is protected by two walls with moats before and after each wall. North of the city lies the Royal Palace, the home of the royalty. The Palace is surrounded by a wall, much smaller than the ones around the city. The wall was to ensure extra security for the royalty and no outsiders can just break in easily.

♚. Society
Viselia welcomes people from all over the world, aside from those who they deem as enemy of the nation. Many people come and go, most of them are foreigners. Viselia is a well known country due to its excellence in trade and Education. People, often nobles, come to Viselia for education as they believe that the Standard of Teachings in Viselia are extremely high. Numerous Merchants and Traders also fill the port cities of the Viselia, selling and buying resources.

Viselia is a rich country, most of it's people lives an average and happy life, but poverty never disappears. There are still some who lives in slums and are homeless. Those who are very unfortunate are forced to work in mines or join the military for a living. However, everybody has a chance to rise to the top and earn a title for themselves.

Free education are given in Public Libraries, where anybody has access to most books. This is where the people who can't afford the expensive education in Academies go to learn. They will learn independently with nobody to teach them and make them understand things. In Viselia, if one has the brains, he could achieve almost everything, even if he started from the bottom.

Farmers, those who take care of livestocks and crops. The people have food because of them. They contribute a large percentage to the Viselian Economy.

Miners, those who extract minerals from the earth in mines. Mines are the source of gold, silver, stone and other kinds of minerals. They contribute a large percentage to the Viselian Economy.

Soldiers, those who protect the Kingdom of Viselia and it's people. They keep order among the populace and subdues trouble makers. They are the heroes of the Land.

Merchants, those who trade commodities produced by other people, because of them, Viselia has access to Exotic Resources. They are the largest contributor of the Viselian Economy, without them, the trades wont move.

The kingdom of Viselia is known for it's excellence in Trade and Education. They are also known for their Military Prowess.

♚. Religion
Viselia doesn't have a specific religion because the Royalty since the previous of times believe that doing so would cause a strife between the believers of different religion. The citizens of Viselia are free to entrust their faith to a certain religion. However, those who call themselves the leaders of a certain religion are secretly kept under watch , so that they government may monitor their movements in case they try to start an uprising. Viselia has a Universal Grand Cathedral at it's capital for all religions.

One of his most impacting action is further strengthening the military strength of the Viselia at the expenses of large quantities of money, as a consequence, the Viselian Economy began to decline. He was known to be dutiful, but greedy as well. The commoners disliked him, because of him, many people lost their jobs and are now starving. The nobles, however, were given special treatment to exclude them from the consequences of a declining economy. After a few years, King George II was declared terminally ill. A few months after, he died.

History The Kingdom of Viselia has just recently discovered the Kingdom of Éirean they were aware of the existence of the land west of them, but was not aware that a kingdom existed in that land. The Kingdom of Viselia quickly sent envoys and established contact with the newly found kingdom. Soon after, the relations between the two nations improved and trade between the both began to start. One of the four leaders of Éirean, sees Viselia not as a friend, but as a free source of riches. He took advantage of their relations and attacked the Viselian lands. The Viselian where caught unaware, because not one of them expected an attack from their western friends. And so began the 120 years strife, caused by greed and arrogance.

40 years into the war came a compromise. With the help of the first King of Kings, the kingdom of Viselia and Éirean established a treaty. Peace was them experienced by people, but it was short lived. The conditions and agreements of the treaty were vague and the war resumed a year after. There were misunderstandings in both sides. Violation of the treaty. The King of Kings who tried to establish peace was frustrated, so he warned them that if this goes any further, both kingdoms will collapse. Both sides ignored his warnings and continued fighting. The Viselians regarded his warnings as a bluff as Viselia is far from collapsing.

Multiple peace negotiations were attempted by both sides, but not one was successful. 60 years after, the King of Viselia and Kings of Éirean came into another compromise. The treaty was very detailed and the soldiers of both countries were made aware and given strict orders not to try and break it. If they do so, they will face the most grievous consequence, execution.


~Síocháin Fiche Bliain~
Síocháin Fiche Bliain, an Éirean sentence which means 'Twenty year peace'. All members of both belligerents must follow the following conditions.

1.All members of both belligerents must cease all of their military activities against the members of the opposite belligerents.

2.No Military Vessels from members of both belligerents will enter the waters of the members of the opposite belligerents.

3.All Hostile, Aggressive and Violent actions towards members of the opposite belligerents will be stopped.

Conditions must be followrd, in any cases that the conditions are not followed and broken, war will resume. The Major members of this war recommends that each member of both belligerents discipline their soldiers, so that they may refrain from breaking the Treaty.

The Síocháin Fiche Bliain is only valid for 20 years, after the given time all conditions will be null and void.

15 years into the treaty, the Kingdom of Éirean must take measures to prevent the war from resuming. They wanted to show the Kingdom of Viselia that they don't wish to continue the war any longer, but they want to do it in an indirect way. They sent the Crowned Princess of Éirean to the Kingdom of Viselia as a sign of goodwill. She would attend a school in the Capital of Viselia. While some may think that the Princess is a political hostage while being elitist education, there are still some who thinks that this is the right thing to do.

The Princess of Éirean met the Prince of Viselia at the Academy of Viselius. After a couple of months or so, they became friends. 18 years into the treaty, a disaster struck. King George II of Viselia, father of Prince Gabriel was terminally ill. After his passing, the crown was give to Prince Gabriel. As soon as he was crowned, he immediately ended all wars that Viselia was part of.

Marcel is certainly a mature man and he holds his responsibilities as the Queen's advisor highly important, as so he should. But perhaps his position results in Marcel being quite the loner. Though he is often in the presence of someone at almost all times, it does not mend Marcel's distant relationships with most for, perhaps he takes things seriously and tends to busy himself with tasks that will assist his Queen. Karina is perhaps the only person he truly speaks with, without all the formalities.
Marcel's loyalty to his Queen knows no limits, and he is always ready to help her out - even going so far as to do small and somewhat useless errands to save Karina the time, after all she is the Queen and has more important issues at hand.
He's not a very emotional person and doesn't tend to pay attention to his emotions and values, for facts, logic and reason are more important to look at.
Though he is almost always honest with Karina, at some points, Marcel deems it necessary to speak less of truth and more of lies. However, because of his high respect and care for his Queen, he will only lie in the case it will secure her safety and avoid inflicting any unsteady emotions. ​

location ♚ krasivaya is known for it's cold beauty, just like it's queen. the entire kingdom is decorated with beautiful but deadly snow, little life grows there but with the innovation from krasivian inventors, the kingdom has been able to produce more food than the last hundred years. krasivaya is a large country with the kingdom being in the middle of everything for all to admire. the buildings of krasivaya are a sight to behold with their bright colours and golden undertones. the poorer part of krasivaya live on the outskirts of the kingdom while the richer live closer to the castle. the country is very similar, almost identical, to it's counterpart russia.

in the heart of krasivaya is the royal city known as korona. the city is known for it's dark beauty and tall buildings. korona is only for the rich and royal, the city is heavily guarded after multiple threats to the stepanchikov family. the castle seems to soar into the sky with it's regal appearance and beautiful detail. the castle's front garden is decorated with fragile ice and snow with guards surrounding the entire castle. inside the castle is where the royal family lives with warmth and a proper bed.

society ♚ krasivaya's society is rough and harsh. the social classes of the country is very secluded with the poor living in the colder and harsher areas of krasivaya while the richer and more respectable live closer to the city of krasivaya, korona. the poorer classes struggle to survive each day with the country's cold environment, they live in little houses with one or two rooms with multiple families in each room having to pay expensive rent. most of krasivaya is apart of the lower class and spend nearly twelve hours a day working to earn little money.

as for the higher class, they live in luxury. most of these krasivian socialites own the houses that the poor rent and earn a living out of stealing people's money with high rent. the higher class live closer to the city and where the royal family live. they have access to guards from the family but only if they earn the right from the family by earning a mark of a crown which is tattooed on the right shoulder. if they dare to disobey or loose their title, they earn another tattoo of a skull on their right palm.

the country is very welcoming towards other visitors, they pamper them to their hearts content with lavish rooms and delicious foods. visitors are personally welcomed to stay inside the stepanchikov castle or, if they prefer, stay in one of the luxurious homes nearby the castle. visitors from other countries have their own krasivian guards protecting them while they're being escorted and are ordered to listen to every order the visitor.

occupation ♚ the lower class of krasivaya can only apply for minimal jobs such as builders, traders, farmers (if they can grow crops, of course) and soldiers for the country's army. the middle class of the country are usually the scientists, the inventors or the business owners and the high class are usually generals, aristocrats or a high class of krasivaya's army.

personality ♚ despite the rumours of being called a cold ice queen with a distant personality, nadia is the complete opposite, sometimes. when she's happy, nadia is very bubbly with her bright smile and cheerful laughs. she tries her best to act mature around other important figures such as guests to the country or other royal members but her immaturity shines out at her worst times. nadia is also a romantic, she dreams of her perfect wedding with a man that loves her dearly and thus, nadia is very affectionate towards others. her heart is bigger than her body which shines through, nadia enjoys giving hugs and making everyone feel good inside of them.

but with every virtue comes their vices, nadia is known to have a short temper. things can easily set her off and she's not afraid to declare war if they mock the tiniest thing. she's also sensitive, her emotions tend to get the best of nadia's conscious which sometimes makes it hard for her to make mature decisions. nadia is also very strong headed, she can easily argue back without holding anything back, she can't help it sometimes.

history ♚ the story of nadia stepanchikov is quite a tragedy filled to the brim with death, sorrow and loosing those she loved. in the outskirts of krasivaya, where the poor and homeless spend their miserable days in the icy country, a pre-mature baby girl was born with bright blue eyes and skin as pale as snow. the romanovs named their new born child nadia and despite their financial troubles, their child's happiness was worth all the pain. nadia grew up with two other families in the same room, all in the same financial situation as the romanovs yet the children kept smiling through with glee shining from their eyes.

yet the first tragedy struck for nadia, she was only five at the time when the large men came. the men barged into nadia's tiny home with large weapons, they whisked away her parents from their home. hot and confused tears rolled down her pink cheeks as nadia screamed for help, she didn't understand why her parents were being taken away, they were good and kind people. nadia was left by herself, alone and orphaned. the little girl began to wonder around the icy country, trailing behind each family she found and pretending that they belonged to her, allowing her imagination to run wild as she made up stories about the family she was following.

on one frosty day, six year old nadia was looking through a window shop admiring a beautiful gown. her eyes were big with admiration as her eyes studied each detail of the magnificent gown. as nadia lost herself in her imagination, she felt a tap on her shoulder. a female dressed in white smiled towards nadia as she crouched down to nadia's tiny height to talk to her.

"where are your parents, little girl?" the female asked.
"gone." nadia replied in a soft voice.

the female's smile turned into a frown as she stood up, placing her gloved hand in front of nadia to take.
"come with me, darling, i'll give you a new home."

nadia gladly took the strange woman's hand, a small smile curving upon nadia's pale lips. the strange woman lead the tiny girl into a magnificent castle in the heart of the country, nadia's eyes were bright with awe as the woman dressed her into warm clothes and feed the child in delicious food.

"is everything okay?" the strange woman asked with a curious smile
nadia nodded eagerly with her mouth stuffed with food. the woman chuckled in reply as she sat next to nadia.
"good, would you like to be my new daughter?" the woman asked.
nadia thought about the question in her mind for a moment, swallowing the food down before replying with a hug.
"i would love to."

nadia romanov then became nadia stepanchikov, her new mother and father welcomed nadia with open arms as they began to teach her how to read and write. nadia learnt the ways of being a queen and with the help of the government, nadia became the heir of anastasia and alexander romanov. at the age of seven, nadia developed a friendship with a boy named lev, she grew close towards the boy as they spent their free time together as best friends. nadia would asked lev for advice whenever she could about everything, whether it would be what dress to wear or what to have for breakfast, she knew that she rely on him.

nadia's beauty blossom in the castle as she grew into a graceful and regal princess, helping those whenever she could who were poor and suffering. nadia knew how those people felt, it was all she ever knew as a child before her mother saved her. nadia's father, alexander, soon died of disease when she turned eighteen. her mother happily gave up her crown as queen to spend the rest of her old years grieving over her husband. nadia quickly stood up to the task and was crowned queen of krasivaya, promising her country to heal it back to it's glory.

Lev has a narrow jawline, a short cut beard. His dark brown eyes are a rounded shape - short eyelashes. He had a medium size nose and ears. A high forehead, and dark brown hair that is kept cut relatively short, with a fringe that is always combed back.
Lev certainly has a thin and lean body. Perhaps it's genetic, for Lev doesn't need to do any physical exercise to maintain his fit figure. However, he doesn't have much muscle on him, perhaps just his toned biceps. Lev has a flat stomach with no obvious muscle. From a childhood incident, Lev has a 10cm long scar on his stomach. ​

Perhaps Lev has never been seen wearing anything less than formal, for perhaps it might not have any other close that don't fall under that formal style. Though Lev tends to wear the same clothes, it doesn't mean he will only wear such clothes, for his clothes must be washed at some point. Lev mostly wears clothes of soft/light colours; whites, golds,
light browns - but with the occasional dark colours.​

A gentle soul. Lev is kind hearted and generous man. Having outstanding manners, respect and a tendency to want to help others. Though, this does't made him overly likeable, for Lev doesn't seem to be great at the socialising thing. He may try, but he might appear to be more of a introvert. Little acts of kindness are his way of saying that he cares, though it is very rare for it come from his mouth - and if it does, it will come out in an awkward flush. However, in any other topic than emotions or other personal issues, Lev is certainly capable of keeping a level head and calm composure. He proves to carry the air of confident man - at least, in public eye - and is precise and thorough in analysing the important things (big or small) that will particularly assist him and his position as the Queen's Advisor.​

History
Lev grew up in a rather cosy life, his father being the advisor of the previous ruler. Lev didn't grow up with a mother, rather there was maid that took care of him and his siblings when his father could not be there. He was the second born son - and the youngest as he had an elder sister, Kelie (the oldest) and an elder brother, Hamson , both of whom he got along rather well with. From birth, it wasn't Lev who would've taken his father's place, however, his father mentored both Hamson and Lev for no other reason than to teach them the values, their place in society and shape them to be respectful - though, Hamson was certainly being mentored to be the next advisor, unlike Lev.

As a child, and often being with his father for one reason or another (and whether or not Hamson was present too), Lev tended to be in the castle. However, at that point in time, as he was just a child, he wasn't allowed to be in the presense of the ruler of the time - Hamson was more so the exception as the to-be advisor.

Fiora is a rather fit and well-formed young lady with a rather perked up frame. Her figure is decently fit for her former line of work as it was perfect for luring men in certain attires. Her skin-tone is rather fair, like porcelain which complemented the rest of her features rather well. Her skin tone makes her hazel eyes often lash out a slight green tint, depending on how the light is hitting them. Her dark brown hair falls straight down till her mid-back. It is usually kept tied back in a loose braid, trying to avoid any hair contact with her face as much as possible. For her age, she is rather average in height, after all she need not be too tall nor too short. She was simply decent. To her misfortune, due to being a courtesan, some scars were to be expected especially if her client is nothing but a savage. Fiora has a set of scarring on each side of her waist from a tight grip that impacted her from a struggle. Rather than that her skin is unmarked in other areas except when her Queen inks her temporarily.

Clothing Style
Common Serving Clothing: A long satin like dress - mainly navy blue that fit in a tight corset round her waist. The skirt of the dress flows outwards a bit and is accessorized by a coffee colored ribbon that is tied round, crossed and round her waist again. Usually her dresses are off shouldered. A pair of brown boots or sandals to go with and it completed the look. Her hair usually tied at a low bun with a few strands of her fringe let loose.
Special Occasion:A similar styled dress only more alluring, consisting of a tighter corset and laced up front. Nice pair of sandals and her hairneatly pinned up usually accompanied by a hair pin.
Archery Attire: Her typical sport is archery, out to practice she hate doing so in stuffy gown so she changes style. Some cloth pants and a loose blouse covered by a leather vest and knee high leather boots. Her hair usually either braided or tied up in a ponytail.

Personality​

When she was young, Fiora was a free-spirited outcast, clumsy and unable to follow rules, regulations, or traditions. Nevertheless, she has a warm heart and wants nothing more than to uphold her family honor, while keeping true to herself. Because of society, however, this is difficult to accomplish, often bringing chaos and embarrassment into her life. The driving force of her life was the love she has for her father, whom she undergone his debts in order to protect him, as well as her desire to prove her own self-worth. She was seen having difficulties with self-confidence, due to society's mistreatment towards her, as well as the pressures of the society she was born into, particularly in the lives of women. Whenever she went against sexism and injustice, or simply handled a situation in her own, unique way such as part-taking in her favorite sport, archery.

During her time in the brothel, Fiora's personality took a shift. She proved to be fierce, physically and mentally, as well as self-reliant, impressionable and persistent. As she learns the ways of life outside of a luxurious villa and the harsh streets. Gaining her lucid, honeyed tongue as well as her seducing ways. Nevertheless, she retained her humble nature.

Scratching her head. No matter what she does, Fiora has a habit of scratching the back of her head. She tends to do it more when she has an arrow, before knocking it she scratches the back of her head with it before aiming. She does this absent-mindedly.
Revenge. The constant need to get even. Especially when she started servitude with the Queen. Whenever she mistreats her, she always finds a little surprise awaiting her.
Looking in the mirror. Fiora is a rather vain being. Whenever she passes a reflective surface or a mirror, she halts for a few good minutes to admire her reflection.

History
Fiorella Francesca Navarro Auditore is the only born child of Mercurio Giovanni Navarro Auditore and Carlotta Claudia Navarro Auditore. One of the well-known noble families residing in Sollertia, Valorem. The families were rather close to one another especially her father with the current Queen's father. Growing up, Fiora was never really the type to act lady-like. Not one bit. She had a mind of her own, a mind that wanted to constantly break traditions and have things her way. For starters, the young girl wanted to practice archery. Despite a lot of arguing from her parents she managed to get her way with the crowd all scandalized that a female was wielding a weapon. It was the same reaction that she would most probably have had if someone stubbed her toes or took her bow.

At a young age, her mother had passed away due to late age as she was already old when she was born. So was her father. This left her to aid her father as best she could however his gambling issues and negotiation losses were not helping her at all. It only resulted in debts... debts... and more debts. This resulted Fiora to go out in the streets to get or find herself a job. Being still a fresh spawn she was recognized by the Madame of a brothel in Sollertia which took her in and taught her all she had to know about being a courtesan which led her change of attitude with prostitution and smuggling. Her father was not proud of such decision but it was either that or simply get buried in his own debts.

Nights and nights of works with clients she had to admit as much as it was fun, it was tiring and dangerous when one night she got one of her clients getting rough with her. Resulting in marking her rather badly round her waist where he had gripped. After that episode her father wanted to put an end to such lifestyle for his little girl. Little girl... she was 23 at the time but she still looked so young rather than an adult It was good. Clients loved a fresh face. That aside he went to seek aid of the Queen. Queen Giuliana who hoped could aid him in his debts. To his surprise she was willing to, for a price. His daughter to serve as her personal hand-maiden in return for all his debt - bit by bit.

He had accepted and from that day till now, which two years have passed she was still under the Queen's leash. She wanted to be free for the fact that in her eyes, the Queen was a bitch was the nicest way she could put it. Her mistreatment had always riled up Fiora to compete and get revenge in hopes to get her to treat her properly. It seemed to be a challenge of hers to get the Queen to trust her. Perhaps she wasn't that bad after all... but such mistreatment nerved Fiorella. Nowadays, two years later she remained loyal to her Queen for her father's sake, putting up with all her routines so on so forth... each day repeating till her father repays his debts slowly. Day by day.

Archery. Growing up, Fiora had always took a particular interest in this sport. Despite growing up being told that she was a lady and she was not supposed to do this and do that, she sure as heck did not even bother whatsuch society thought of her as if she flicked them off and proceeded to do what she loved doing most. That was releasing her stress anger through some firing arrows.

Letting her tongue loose/Seducing. The female, from working in the streets of Sollertia as a courtesan it wasn't the first time she was harassed by men who think they are better then her due to her gender. Fiora never held back what she had to say. She always let it out there and then even if she resulted in a fight. The female had guts. Not to mention when her Queen scolds or talks to her sourly she doesn't hesitate to respond back. She grew up in the streets cause of her father so that was a skill she acquired. Part of her former job she used her tongue for seduction in order to get herself clients.

Smuggling. In the position her father had ended them up in the female had resulted in desperate measures. Upon working in the streets she learned to be very subtle while swiping a coin purse from here and a coin purse from there. Getting every inch of coin she can from her clients and their jewelry so on so forth.
