Your party is too large for a poor caravan. Your support group for a caravan should be around 30.

Character Sheet
Name:
Veras Emrys
Age:
33
Title:
Knight under the War maiden of Rondo, 1st Admiral of the Maiden Fleets.
Race:
Human
Wealth(poor-very wealthy):
Average
Appearance(description or image, either works):
Veras usually wears a green cloak for warmth from the breeze and for.protection from the rain (he also thinks it makes him look fashionable). His armor is light and resembles those typically worn by the Garrison at Fort Jag. He usually has a stubble when he can't be bothered to shave and his hair is kept messy but manageable.
Personality:
A tactful and often paranoid commander, he is a believer in the War Maiden's cause. He is loyal to the end no doubt and very unwavering in the face against odds. Despite his setbacks and general cold attitude towards nobility of other factions and most of all, the nobility of Dansieg, he is generally a mix of pure sarcasm and charity.
Backstory:
Born as a illegitimate child of some noble he never bet, his mother being a woman who did less then moral things with her body, and his home being nothing more then a crate he had stolen from the markets, his childhood was rough to say the least. That was when he had to notions. One is that he would never go back to the city of birth and live there. The second notion is that he would make a name for himself whether in life or death. An ambitious notion however one he would strive to claim nonetheless. That was when he took the job of a sailor.
From the first day he stepped aboard the ship, clueless of how things worked and how to manage the crew, he knew he would enjoy the seas. The first days were rough with rowdy men and a small boy however he learned the ropes fast. He literally learned the ropes, that being he learned the knots, the rudder, the oars and the insurance and outs of the ship. Veras soon became adept, training and brawling with the other crewman. It was all fine and dandy until he truly realized the harshness of the sea. He had seen storms before, rougher then any landlubber could imagine but pirates were the fiercest demon alive. Veras got his first taste of blood against pirates when on a routine merchant run, he has to use a sword, a tool he had only previously practiced with and as such had to retreat many times. It wasn't long before the crew surrendered, Veras with them and the captain slaughtered at their feet. The crewman were ransomed off to be perhaps slaves but Veras, small as he was in his teen years, escaped. He ran to the only place he could find work again quickly. He became a watchman at fort Jag where.he received minor education and became a tool for battle.
Tired as one might expect, he still managed and learned the ins and out of the fort. There, daily life was relatively peaceful being that the major action he saw were bands of rogue orcs. If they got rowdy, a big brawl would ensue but never a full scale war. In time, given the span of ten years, he advanced quickly for a grunt and made his impression upon others. Still, things did go south as always. Upon the fall of the old empire, the orcs saw Danseig, a beacon of humanity and the oppressors of orcs and attacked. That same attack was the first time he had met the War Maiden of Rondo, Lady Irisfil in combat fighting alongside them. During the thick of the fighting, when the men were on their last stand for Fort Jag, Irisfil's cavalry managed to swoop down and push the orcs back. Still, cavalry was made for a quick and brutal attack on the enemy, they would not last long alone. Veras, leading the remaining troops who would listen, followed Veras into battle and made their last charge against the orcs, eventually pushing them back. It wasn't long before Veras made the rash decision of joining Irisfil's band and rising in the ranks, fighting against the orcs in the bloody war.
His skills and tactful knowledge of battle aided him.in rising quickly in the ranks, becoming a notable commander in Irisfil's party. Veras led many troops into battle in the bloody campaign. He had lead a detachment of troops in the battle of the Red Cliff striking blows in the ranks of Orcish commanders and earning his Knighthood from Danseig. Elsewhere he had fought in the battle of the Azazel river, fighting in the vanguard and leading the troops alongside Irisfil. In the encounter that turned south, he was among the few that survived in the engagement and helped to drag Irisfil to safety as the army shows up to push the orcs back. As the war dawned and Irisfil proclaimed to leave the kingdom, Veras hastely joined her. With his experience at sea, something most at Fort Jag know little about, he helped to ferry the soldiers over with the aide of merchants discontent under the King and seeking a new life whether they were debtors or wanted by the underground. Under Irisfil, he became a commander and trusted advisor working in the small "fleet" as well as in the main army.
Equipment(Remember to take into account the wealth) :
Veras carries with him a broadsword and kite shield. For ranged weaponry, he has a small bow and fifty arrows at all times.
Aside from weapons, he usually has small maps and navigation charts of the sea and land. He also carries a telescope and compass for sailing and navigating on land.
Motivation(What is their goal as leader):
He plans to help Irisfil in her struggles as a commander and become known in the world as something other then a bastard of a immoral lady.
Band Sheet
Army (Mercenary group, pirates, kingdom army.):
Kingdom Army and Navy
Composition(200 men for mercenary groups, 500 men for kingdoms max, I may have you change the composition. For a warband this would be the troops and and their specifics, for a caravan this would be the traders, their equipment and wagons, and a caravan gaurd, for a thieves' guild this would be their members, so on for any type of group):
Navy:
2 captured pirate warships
3 Refitted Merchant vessels from recruited merchants of the cause. These vessels are less armored then a warship but more armored then a regular merchant ship.
The total crew is ... sailors. The merchant ships have around 40 sailors each while the warships have 90 sailors per ship.
The Storm Bringer is a captured pirate ship with a long history admist naval actions. It was built approximately eight years before the old empire fell and was made to reinforce the seas and destroy pirate targets. It was largely successful as the ship notably took down 13 pirate vessels and helped liberate dozens more for merchants. It wasn't until a pirate captain Jory Robert's formed a fleet and captured the ship as according to the ship logs. The ship was eventually made as a flagship of the pirate fleet until it disbanded and had since forth pillaged the coastline of Dansieg and other islands until being recaptured by Veras Emrys and his crew, killing the pirates aboard and dumping them into the ocean.
An interesting thing about the logs was that Jory Robert's, the fleet commander used this as a flagship. It was apparent the crew was discontent sharing the plunder and mutinied bringing the likely end of the fleet. It hardly matters now as the ship had been captured and all the pirates are dead.
The sailors are loyal truly to Irisfil however hold respect for Veras and are assigned to follow Veras' commands. They have little armor if any at all and carry makeshift weapons such as clubs and maces as well as swords. Bows are also aboard the ship's as well as braziers to light arrows on fire should naval combat arise. Although they can hold their own for a short while on land, they are better at sea.
Company:
The bulk of Veras' main command consists of 110 soldiers. Although not as highly trained as Irisfil's personal army, they consist mainly of the surviving Garrison at Fort Jag and are hardened in battle against the orcs.
The army consists of:
30 Archers
80 Footmen
Archers: The archers wear the usual chainmail or leather armor depending on the situation. They carry longbows as accustomed by the Danseig military for archers and by orders of Veras' as he believe bows to be more damaging and faster than crossbows. For melee, the archers carry a short sword at their side.
Footman: The footman consists of a more armored variety of soldiers, mainly involving some plate alongside chainmail. They carry broadswords and a kite shield into battle. Should they lose their sword, a small axe or hatchet is on their side.
Capital:
Camp Iria
Retainer/NPC
Retainer’s name and description:
Captain Lart Lackley
A soldier of Fort.Jag and a well respected member, he commands the warship Empire and the 70 men aboard.
In his childhood, he had a relatively normal life with a merchant father who would almost always take him out to sea. There he would trade, face storms and battle pirates for his life. He spent hours first years as such before his father retired a wealthy man and gave the company to his brother, a more charismatic and arrogant man who had won popularity at home and was favored to take the company due to his relations. Angered by this, be decided to leave the ocean in a rash act of spite and bowed never to return to the ocean. It wasn't long before he joined the regiments of Fort Jag. There he earned his experience as second in command to Veras and broke his vow to return to the sea under Veras and Irisfil.
Retainer’s party:
Captain Lackley takes control of the Empire, another warship taken from a pirate. Unlike the other pirate ship, this one was more unorthodox being that it was a non-human ship and was taken as a way to spite Irisfil's father and give one last finger to the orcs before settling to Camp Iria. On land, he commands a personal guard of 10 Jag Guards to protect Veras and if need be, Irisfil should it come to that necessity
((For OOC details, this ship is just the model. The hull would be more dark in color))
The Empire is a orcish ship captured from the orcs. Whilst ferrying troops to the mainland, not all orcs we're.given word of the peace, especially those at sea. Due to this, the orc ship decided to attack the merchant ships ferrying the troops. The Storm Bringer managed to intercept it, covering the retreat of the merchant ships and under the leadership of Veras' Emery's, was swiftly boarded before the orcs could cause significant damage. The orcs that surrendered had their right hands chopped off before having their throats slit and thrown into the ocean. The hands were taken as trophies and Captain Lart Lackley, formerly First Mate Lackley, was given command of the ship. Before ferrying the last troops, the Storm Bringer recruited sailors of Danseig to the cause adding more discontent Dansieg crewman to Irisfil's military.
Since the capture of the Empire, two pirate Refitted Merchant vessels were captured making the grand total of the fleet seven ships. The two vessels however are not part of the main fleet and are therefore excluded from the party of Veras' Emery's.
