I
n New York City, there is a secret lab that fronts as a modeling agency. To the public eye, this company is nothing more than a talent agency that seems to only sign hits in the industry. In reality, this organization is the most notorious hitman distributor in the world. Sure, their staff work as models during their free time, but their true mission is to kill. This organization is known to produce the best assassins, and they just keep getting better. Their scientists have been working on a serum to enhance a person and their capabilities. The company has a weird obsession with themes. Every batch of assassins they have ever produced centered around some sort of theme. For their most ambitious project to date, the chosen theme is the zodiacs.
The newest serum has been trialed and failed many times. The kids involved turning on each other and killing themselves, or even going crazy. Finally, they seem to have made a breakthrough. 13 college students are abducted in the night, each living a different life. Each individual was born during the time of each of the 12 zodiacs. They are first wiped of their memories. Anything before the lab is lost to them. Their identity stripped from them. Second, they are injected with the serum and placed in an escape room of sorts. When they wake they need to figure a way out and work together. The point of this test is to make sure the group does not turn on each other, that their mental state is intact, and to test that the serum has enhanced them in the ways necessary. Out of 15 groups of 12, this group is the only one that succeeds. From that moment they were dubbed The Zodiac Killers.

the one to bring chaos. hotheaded and violent, and not one to clean up after themselves. they are the most reckless of anyone on the team and often need to be kept in check.

vengeful yet merciful. the one who does extensive research to learn every one of their target's wrongs to taunt him/her with them leading up to their demise. their kills are usually swift and to the point. they utilize mental torture more than physical torture.

the "twins" are laid-back while off the clock and hard-working while on it. they're the wildcards amongst the rest, finding different ways of offing their victims. they never stick to a pattern and double-team every mission. don't like going solo. they are not actually related but they don't know that.

emotional but effective. seems to think they are doing the world and their victim a favor by killing them. extremely warped sense of justice. watch their emotions though...if not kept in check it could be disastrous.

secretive in their crimes but well known outside. they are famous for things other than modeling, and enjoy basking in the spotlight. when on a mission they like to take the reins and be the center of attention, preferring their victims to look at them when they strike.

the perfectionist. methodical and maniacal, the best at cleaning up a scene. their schtick is leaving cryptic clues behind that no one but them could solve. often cleans up after aries, so due to this they tend to do missions together.
libra

the leader of the team. kills the least out of everyone else, instead pulling the strings and directing others. finds their next targets and is the one who receives missions from their superiors. glue that holds everyone together and a voice of reason. the most stable and sane. happens to be crazy good with tech.
scorpio

the mystery. the best manipulator of the whole team, and the best at keeping emotions out of the way. calm, cool, and collected. not to mention loyal as can be. interrogate all you want but scorpio will never reveal their secrets. they tend to be the sultry ones that seduce their way into a home/apartment to complete their kill. if they take what a target has done personally, their kills get scarily violent.
sagittarius

the most intelligent on the team, while also being the best sniper. long-range weaponry is this signs specialty. works closely with libra. leaves the up close and personal missions to others. they are always lurking around somewhere, ready to have their teammate's backs when needed.
capricorn

precise and clean. executes every mission near flawlessly, simple as that. they dabble in poisons. tainting a drink or cutting someone with a poison-coated knife is their preferred way of killing. the chemists of the team.
aquarius

the teamโs communicator and hacker, and the subtly scary murderer. not outspoken about the joy they find in their craft. what's frightening is they would do it without getting paid. works the comms and aids libra/sagittarius with anything tech related. very sinister.

naive and sheltered off the clock but the opposite when on. passionate and take every kill to heart. very emotional like aries, but in the sappy way. hides behind a mask of innocence but a cold-blooded killer lies underneath.

this thread isn't running on a first come first serve basis! it will run on applications. so, if you see a role you want go ahead and make a cs and you'll be in the running. just know your spot is not guaranteed! also only ONE spot per person (for now!).

be kind to each other. i don't tolerate bullying or harassment of any kind. on that note, no homophobia, racism, transphobia or anything of the sort. you will be perma banned immediately no questions asked
rule four.
realistic face claims only. no art or anime please! also make sure they look their age. fc's that look 14 playing 19+ is super weird and uncomfy so just dont do it. also, characters in this thread are college-aged, meaning all characters must be 19-22 years old.
rule five.
no godmodding or severely wounding other characters unless it's plotted!
rule six.
you must be literate and active! this thread is not the place for one-liners. also if your posts are hard to read and follow it kills muse. so i will ask everyone be willing to do a 500 word count minimum and be able to post once a week! (exceptions to the posting rule may be handled on a case by case basis)
rule seven.
discord is a requirement! pretty much all plotting and discussion take place there. that's the way i like to do things! so, if discord isn't something you use/want to use, this might not be the thread for you. however, i will make an ooc thread for chatting until applications are due and those accepted move to the discord!
