The World of Zao
Where are we?
Zao means Animals in Greek and this is where you are located. Zao is in the Galaxy of the Southern Pinwheel (Which is an actual galaxy). This planet is similar to Earth with its large land masses and having large bodies of water. The two large ocean like bodies of water are named Enas and Dyo. Enas covers the southern part of the planet and Dyo the northern. In The norhtern region lays the longest mountain range called Howling Mountains because of the wide range of Lycos tribes that reside here. Aurum Mountains is the tallest mountain range and is home to many Mythikos Clans. They possess the largest known dragon population.
All the land is connected so travel between the world is easy. Near the bottom of Zao, unlike Earth, it gets to be tempertures above a hundred. This is the largest desert called Calida that is home to Erpon Kingdom that is ruled by a hierarchy of Snake like Zao.
A basic run down of what is connected. Starting at Megima that borders the Dyo ocean there are three trails you can take. You can go to the north which is where the Howling Mountains are that lead up to the Krysta Tundra that borders both the Enas and the Dyo ocean.
to the East of Megima is where The Vrochi Forest leads that borders the Western and Northern side of the Aurum mountains. Vrochi forest is bordered on the southern side by a very deep river that keeps in from the Kitri Savannah.
You can also take the Southern side of Megami which is the Kitri Savannah that leads into the Calida Desert.
The calida Desert is surrounded by both bodies of water as well as the Chorto grasslands on their Western side.
