  nother fall semester at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has come to a close.
  
  Many witches and wizards, including Hogwarts staff, will now board the Hogwarts Express train back to London to visit their families for the winter holiday. The number of students and professors wandering the great halls will dwindle, but this does not diminish the holiday cheer in the slightest. Only those who remain at Hogwarts for the winter break know and understand just how special the castle truly becomes.
  
  Festoons of holly and mistletoe hang all around the walls within the Great Hall, and no less than twelve towering Christmas trees stand around the room, some sparkling with tiny icicles, some glittering with hundreds of candles. The dining table offers dozens of fat, roasted turkeys, chickens, and hams. Mountains of mashed potatoes and a fountain of thick gravy. Food and joy as far as the eyes can see.   All characters will be seventh years and at least 17-years-old. This is canonically the adult age in the lore, but you are welcome to make your character 18 so long as their birthday is after the 1st of September. Characters of all sexual orientations, gender expressions, cultural backgrounds, etc. are more than welcome. No canon characters or families. Please help me in creating a diverse cast of characters.   The character limit will be one at the start, but I will likely open it up to two later on. We will be using real models and actors for face claims. I strongly advise avoiding the use of any A-list actors and celebrities to avoid character bias. No social media influencers will be accepted as a face claim unless they have a modeling contract. Given that this intended to be a fun, lighthearted holiday roleplay, the CS will be simple and will not require an extensive backstory. Please provide the information I require. i have been subjected to one too many HP holiday edits on tiktok, so i couldn't resist the idea of a cute, slice-of-life roleplay (with some fun prompts sprinkled in) revolving around the winter holidays at hogwarts. the roleplay will take place in 2024 over the two weeks covering christmas and new years. i have the roleplay set-up for 12 characters total atm, but i am flexible with the number. i will move forward with a CS thread once i have some interest. in the meantime, please be sure to read the rules if you're interested and let me know if you have any questions!
