It is the beginning of the 1990's in Yugoslavia,
and everything is officially going to SHIT.
The whole economy is failing.
Countries of Yugoslavia are leaving.
As they have given up on any hope of the poor being fed.
Croatia decides to take a militant move and leave, shooting down Federal Army reserves and vehicles, along with killing their personnel and performing
Operation Storm ((mass genocide operation)) to kill Serbs from the area.
Bosnia soon followed, attempting to gain independence from the region in a militarized way. Because like Croatia they were not allowed to leave. They done the same, though also being an ENEMY of Croatia over
territorial disputes.
They became friendly soon after. But they separated immediately after another dispute. Everyone was now against Everyone. But then Serbs in the area of Bosnia formed their own State. Republika Srpska, which was a friend of the Republic of Serbia due to being 100 percent Serb in the population and cooperated with the JNA. Also you have to remember this. Serbs also were genocidal. As all sides were guilty of crimes. There's also the faction of ARKAN'S TIGERS, which was a paramilitary group in Serbia, working for the regime. Their uniforms were a mixing of Republika Srpska and JNA uniforms.
The factions you can join are,
the Hrvatsko Vijece Obrane ((HVO)) which is the Croatian military.
The ARMIJA Republike Bosne I Hercegovine ((ARBIH)) which is the Bosnian military.
The JNA or Jugoslovenska Narodna Armija, which translates to Yugoslav People's Army that is located in Serbia, which in a whole became the left off of Yugoslavia.
Also there's the Vojska Republike Srpske ((VRS)) which is the Army of Republika Srpska.
Republika Srpska is a Serbian province in Bosnia which was against the Bosnian and Croats.
Weapons need to be weapons suitable for the time, they can be from any country.
Mostly recommended ones are AK's, M70's, Uzi's, M4's, CZ's, ETC.

REMEMBER, NO ALLIENCES AS EVERYONE WAS AGAINST EACHOTHER IN THIS WAR EXCEPT REPUBLIKA SRPSKA AND SERBIA WERE ALLIES.
