Cs guidelines

1.All characters will fall into the C class of demon as far as power goes. That makes your character compare to the four saint beasts, and most of the fighters from the dark tournament like Chu & Jin. More details on the ranking system will be included in the lore tab.

2. Characters cannot be inherently evil, morally questionable is fine, but you are supposed to be playing the good guys. That said yusuke and kuwabara were a delinquents, hiei a Ruthless warrior demon, and Kurama a cunning thief demon so “good guy” kinda just means “less evil” in this case.

3. no relations to canon characters please. The closest to a past relation i will allow is for your character to be a similar kind of demon to hiei or kurama even being from hiei’s same tribe of ice demons. Or being trained by Kuwabara after he took over genkai’s dojo. You may also be a frequent customer of Yusuke and Keiko’s Ramen shop or even a worker there.

Name: August Jaggerjack
Age: 99
Species:Spirit
Gender: Male
Title: Jaggerjack
Power Rank: C-
Hearts Desire: August isn't a man of many vices nor virtues, but he's put a lot of thought into what he'd wish for. His would would be for his own Dojo, where he would train young people who have gone through hell much like he has.

Personality: August is a mean, fear ruling, quick witted, conflict addicted, hard ass. He’s the type to slaughter a group of people with his bare hands and then act as though it was no big deal. He cares little about blood, because what he’s after is fear. Seeing bad people’s faces go ghost white when he shows up gives him a sense of power no kill can. Despite the animosity, August is rather sensitive to his own heart, seeing himself as no more than a monster. This is an undeniable fact in his mind, he’s come to terms with it, and vows to make sure the world doesn’t have any more monsters like him. He kills bad people, the type of people who make normal people’s lives harder. His cruel and cocky attitude is how he keeps himself safe, and the only ones who keep up with it are his comrades, who he loves and respects deeply. He’d never tell them though.

Backstory: August was never a saint in any regard, and he'll always tell you that, but to others that's not really the case. Everyone who's ever gotten to know August will tell you that he's an extremely light spirited person, having been through so much in his life that he struggles to take anything too seriously. Not much is knows about what he's gone through, but it evidently wasn't pleasant, as seen in his attitude. All he's ever been open about is that he's taken more than hundreds of beatings when he was alive, and he'd take hundreds more, because backing down isn't what he does.
Hearts desire: (The winners of the dark tournament are granted their hearts desire, each surviving member of the team gets their own wish…so whats yours?)

Spirit/Demon power: 4

Physical power: 10

Technique: 3

Strategy: 6

Speed: 5

Weapons: August's good old four finger ring. His knuckle dusters. His metal glove- You get the point. These brass knuckles are forged from iron drawn from the blood of hundreds of demons. They are not only a token of accomplishment, but his favorite tool for when he gets serious. The demon blood makes them an excellent conductor for his spirit power.
1639527475723.pngx2
Special techniques:
A Display of Pain: August cannot feel pain unless he decides to store it in his body, in which case August stores up every hit and attack he's been struck with, but the pain never fades. He must hold onto it, only able to get rid of the pain by releasing it outward through a spirit power punch. The pain he stores up A ten to twenty minute long fight can grant him enough pain to almost quadruple his spirit power in a single hit. The pain cannot be let out in bursts, it must be put into a single attack.
Fighting style:
August is a close quarters brawler and grappler. He's more the type to suplex you over the top of his head and crack your skull open than he is the type to combat you with some kind of martial art he never bothered to learn. His greatest strength is his ability to bulldoze through pain when not using his only technique, which in some cases is enough to win, but more than he'd like to admit, he's had to resort to his technique to finish a fight.
Weaknesses:
August's biggest weakness is his stubbornness and his unwillingness to learn more than he's taught himself. With his resistance to pain, he likes to completely bulldoze through his opponents with amazing power and resilience, but sadly that's not always enough. Because of the high buildup and his already low spirit power, he relies on a singular good hit to end a fight, which if dodged, would mean he'd have to do the whole thing over again.

Name
Foolkin
Age
200
Species
Modified(???) Demon
Gender
They are male
Title
Demonologist
Power Rank
C+
Personality
"We are Foolkin..."
A conflicted and ambitious demon. Foolkin has spent the better part of his life in the pursuit of his personal aspiration to become an 'ascended being', once known for his expertise in the field of demon biology: after an experiment on himself went wrong his mind/spirit has been fractured into two conflicting personas: one hellbent on ascending in order to destroy all of humanity whilst the other wishes to ascend in order to become one of humanity's next protectors. Whilst he is in an eternal conflict within himself and has a difficult time focusing or remembering things like he used to before the failed procedure Foolkin continues to have a wealth of knowledge in his field...Foolkin's sides could be divided into 'Destroyer' and 'Shepard', one who seeks only the destruction of races it deems lesser while the other is one who seeks to help and guide the weak or misguided.

The Destoyer: Cunning, manipulative and oftentimes ruthless. The Destroyer will use those around him to achieve his goals, only ever pretending to care about the interests of others when it suits his own ends and bears no real value on the life of anyone other than himself. He views his targets, or more accurately 'victims', as nothing more than test subjects for his studies or newest abomination. Unbound by such things as a moral compass, he ultimately wishes to ascend in order to destroy humanity - having deep-seated envy for humans more than any other species.

The Shepard: Soft-spoken, calm and well mannered. The Shepard is by no real means a pacifist but prefers using violence as a last resort rather than being the first thing he uses to get his way, much preferring to appeal toward the people's better nature and is more than willing to work collaboratively if their goals are in some way mutual. He will not go actively seeking out conflict, however, conflict does seem to have a way of finding him. His views on other species also seem to wildly differ from his alter-ego, holding an especially deep admiration for humans and their ability to survive and grow despite all of their inherent weaknesses; Foolkin sees humans as the potential key to his own ascension. He ultimately wishes to ascend in order to maintain and guide humanity, protecting the inhabitants of the human realm from those who might try to impede its progress.

Backstory
"Yes, yes...YES!!! This is it! Just had to make the right 'adjustments' is all, my calculations were only a little off - after all, how was I supposed to know at the time I needed a more...'Potent' source of power, but now...Now I have acquired it!! Sacred energy! It might just be a flicker, but...."

The decrepit lab was completely dark, with all but the yellow light emitting from the flicker of sacred energy burning inside a jar. His eyes flickering back at the yellow light
"You will be more than enough, won't you darling? You'll be the key to my ascension, and then...Well..."
He picked up the jar with delicate hands and carried it over to an operating table that had tubes of various sizes coming out of it, some running along the ground while others ran along with the ceiling and they all connected to other machinery spread around the lab.
"Don't you mean OUR ascension? And be careful with that! We don't want another accident, are you even sure about this? Perhaps there are more tests we should run first---”
"Fear Myojo, is that it? And you count yourself a demon? Hmph! You have been my assistant in all this, you've seen all of what I've had to sacrifice, now you want me to wait? After all the years, and all that we have done, you want to back out now right when we are about to accomplish what we’ve been trying to achieve?! We no longer have time for more testing, they’ll be here before we know it…It is now or never Myojo, so are you going to help me achieve history or are you going to back out now? And lose everything!?"
“No Ankoku, I didn’t mean-- Nevermind, you’re right. There’s no going back now. Get on the table and we’ll begin…I hope our calculations were right this time.”
Ankoku grimaced as he handed the jar over to Myojo, who took and placed it inside a chamber-capsule type machine before moving back over to strap Ankoku down to the operating table. The operation was about to begin.

The machines roared alive as Myojo flipped the switch and quickly moved to a series of computers. The lab started to shake, and the jar of flickering sacred energy started to expand, its brilliant yellow light flashing inside the jar until it could no longer be contained. Streaks of yellow lightning bolted across the operating table, bouncing off the walls and ceiling of the lab.
“I can’t believe it..So far, everything seems stable…This, this might actually work!”
Then came the sound of an explosion, one that did not come from one of the lab's machinery but from the hidden entrance into their lair. Smoke and debris filled the room as a group of shadowy red-eye silhouettes stormed the lab…The operation was a failure. The scene after was that of blood, mangled bodies and destroyed lab equipment buried beneath a fog of smoke and debris, almost nothing had survived: almost nothing…

From the fog and ruins of that lab, Ankoku was the only one to emerge from the wreckage, but he was no longer the same, and he was no longer Ankoku…”We are Foolkin.”

After the failed operation, Foolkin drifted. He would come to earn a reputation around the Demon Realm as the ‘Demonlogist’, his expertise in the field of Demon Biology becoming a thing of urban legend in the outreaches of demon society. He would eventually offer his services to the Spirit King, using it as a chance to continue his studies on the human species: which he believes could hold the answers to his own ascension.
(Will elaborate more on his past throughout roleplay.)
Heart's Desire
Foolkin's heart desire is to become ascended.

Weapons
His mind and his body. True to his name he has modified his body in a variety of ways with his knowledge of demon biology.
Special Techniques
Demon Eggs: Foolkin keeps and cultivates a variety of demon eggs inside of his body, he can plant these eggs inside of others through physical contact. Demon energy is required to grow and hatch these eggs, and the time it takes to grow or hatch these eggs varies depending on the type of species it is. The eggs will also hatch specifically where physical contact was made (if Foolkin grabbed your forearm, then the egg would hatch there for example.). The demon eggs can feed off any type of spiritual energy it comes in contact with, and these different types of energies can also have different effects on the demons that hatch. The demon eggs he cultivates as of right now are as follows:
Imps - With only a small amount of energy, one of these can be hatched in seconds. A tiny species of demon who are known for chewing off the ankles of much larger species in swarms. Ideal for reserving energy.
Flesh Wasps - Using a bit of energy, one of these can hatch in a few minutes. A type of demonic insectoid akin to a wasp but with a more fleshy exterior and can grow as large as the average human head. Also useful for collecting blood samples.
Mind Parasites - A species that can only hatch inside of brains, using a considerable amount of energy they will hatch after 10 minutes have passed. Allowing Foolkin to control the minds of other creatures, humans or demons but not spirits.

ujmexcpf4x051.png
Demonic Molting: Akin to that of a cicada, Foolkin can shed/molt off his skin to aid with recovery or remove certain physical effects. (For example, if he is on fire he could shed off the burning skin.)

Demon Metamorphosis: Using the various dormant eggs inside of him, Foolkin can alter his body to emulate the traits of different types of demons. This process requires both preparation and time, as well as a lot of energy not only to hatch the eggs used in his metamorphosis but to also keep his body stabilized. Meaning every moment he spends in the metamorphosis the more energy he wastes and restrains his ability to hatch/use the demons eggs inside of him as effectively.

Kappa Demon Shell - Foolkin takes on the traits of a Kappa demon by growing plated, shell-like skin on his back, allowing him to curl up into a defensive ball to fend off attacks that would otherwise shatter his fragile body.
Spider Demon Threads/Silk - Foolkin takes on the trait of a Spider's Demon's ability to create a silk-like string that is durable and sticky. He can shoot out these threads through the tips of his fingers.
Flesh Wasp Demon Wings - Foolkin takes on the trait of Flesh Wasp demons and sprouts fairly small wings from his back that allows him to hover a few feet in the air and move around faster.
Tiger Demon Fangs & Claws - Foolkin takes on the traits of a Tiger Demon, his fangs growing several times larger and more durable with razor-sharp claws sprouting out from the tips of his fingers.

Fighting Style
A meticulous strategist, Foolkin relies on a superior intellect and his vast knowledge of demon biology to get the edge over his chosen enemies: employing a variety of demonic spawns at his disposal to swarm opponents from afar, or get close enough to implant demon eggs inside their bodies. Foolkin likes to plan ahead, setting up the battlefield with traps ahead of time in order to catch his opponents by surprise and make up for his lack of physical prowess.
Weaknesses
Due to the fracturing of his mind, Foolkin's greatest asset: his mind, is at an endless internal conflict which can make it hard for him to focus or remember things like he once could meaning that sometimes, Foolkin can sometimes be his own greatest adversary. Foolkin is not much of a physical fighter, knowing little in the way of martial arts or weapon techniques. Furthermore, as a result of the numerous modifications he's made to his body, he has sacrificed much of his physical power and durability in the process.
(Internal Conflict, Relies on Strategy, Unstable Body & Disadvantage against physical fighters.)

Name: Kataka Matsutan
Age: 17
Species: human
Gender: Male
Title: Lightning-user
Power Rank: C
Personality: While Matsutan can be a bit of a pervert, he tries to keep it hidden from others and is also a bit chivalrous. He doesn't like fighting girls but is willing to do so given that everyone who joined is a warrior of some kind. He doesn't actually have a high opinion of his physical skills and is willing to give up a match if he feels like there is no way to win, as long as doing so won't get the team eliminated or force someone who is in no shape to do so to fight. Matsutan tries to hide his insecurity by relying on his powers to win battles, despite knowing someone might figure out he never so much as throws an actual punch.
Backstory: While not everyone in the Kataka has spiritual abilities even with training, those who tend to have powers related to lightning. As a result there is an unconfirmed legend that they have at one least lightning demon in the family tree. Matsutan at first didn't believe it since neither of his parents actually had powers It wasn't until his uncle showed him that he could shoot static electricity from his index finger that he changed his mind. Hoping to impress girls he begged his uncle to teach him, only to quickly surpass his teacher when the training actually began, as his uncle only had the one trick.

As a result without a teacher Matsutan spent the next three years not developing his skill beyond that of a party trick, a trick that quickly stopped impressing his classmates at that. It wasn't until he befriended another much more powerful psychic that he got the idea to look for a teacher not related to him. Unfortunately the teacher he ended up with was self taught and while she did help him improve her methods didn't make it easy for him to even grow a little stronger. If it wasn't for his friend referring him to his own teacher he would have never surpassed E Class. Once he did get a decent teacher he developed his powers rather quickly, though he tended to ignore his physical abilities as much as he could get away with.

Special techniques:
Thunder ring: Like the name suggests a ring made of electricity that is thrown at the opponent, while it's rather slow it has minor homing capabilities.
Electroparalysis: Small balls of blue spiritual energy are launched at Matsutan's opponent If these balls make contact, they expand into a roughly fist-sized ball that sticks to the opponent, radiating electrical sparks that don't do a lot of damage but have a change to cause minor paralysis.
Arun Spark: Matsutan holds his hand out in front of an opponent causing a bright flash to emerge. It lasts for only a second but serves to completely blind anyone looking at it at the time. The only technique that he can use at short range as long as he doesn't actually look at it himself.
Lightning arrow: An arrow made of lightning, while it is capable of penetrating things like lights armor its real strength is its speed. Easily Matsutan's fastest attack.
Fighting style:
He is a long range attacker
Weakness:
Because Matsutan's attacks involve electricity he is at a major disadvantage against someone who is either immune/resistant to it or can redirect it. He also tends to doubts his combat skills and could potentially be bluffed into giving up or at least believing he can't win. Finally almost all of his techniques are long ranged so if someone can corner him and force him into CQC he won't do too well.

Name: Yakai Damaji
Age: 23
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Title: Captain Manga / The World's Biggest Failure.
Power Rank: C
Personality:
Yakai Damaji, most ordinary citizens label him as that big freaky kid that hangs outside of gaming stores glittered in random stuff including this weird Japanese stuff that he’s so fond of but little do they all know he’s on the watch, vigilant and always aware of his surroundings! Yakai is a cheerful spirit that’s determined to clean these less than attractive looking streets, wipe them spotless of the plague that infests surrounding communities with the worst of the worst! Some will say that he’s a risk to others and especially himself because of his courage or ignorance to back-down from a fight, however, even with the odds stacked against him he always manages to stay uplifted with hope that one day he’ll conquer those that overlook him and become the savior of the defenseless! Think of him as that annoying kid in the younger days of life that always wanted to bother you for some reason, it could’ve been because of anything except this time with his competition whom find him more irritating than actually problematic. Few attributes pertaining to Damaji is his lack of common sense such as not being able to take a hint when an attractive woman tells him she’s not interested in dating him, perhaps it's his strong will? But nevertheless, never giving up is his very motto even if it means being rejected over and over again and being kicked straight in the nether-regions due to his unwanted advances, or at least not until he either scores a date with a complete hottie or decides he's really sick of getting kicked in the groin by most of the women he meets!
Backstory:
Following his life-turning moment of awakening, Yakai persisted in chasing his dreams of becoming a hero and in due time was able to get an inkling of an idea as to what kind of
powers that he possessed, one of them anyway; Failure Empowerment, a means of acquiring insurmountable levels of strength through perpetual defeat! It a 'super power' that he'd
consider to be too favorable in his honest opinion but what choice did he really have? He was stuck with it and because of that he might as well outright use it, besides, if it meant
getting a bloodied lip every now and again in exchange for protecting others and being a total 'badass', so be it! His self-proclaimed 'Captain Manga' job started out the same way it
normally did, with him going out of his way to get absolutely wrecked time and time again but there always being that day where he'd end up turning the tables and giving a well-deserved
and prompt ass kicking to those that were so used to kicking his.

This would become a seemingly consecutive sequence of events prior to being contacted by an unnamed stranger through the means of a letter which entailed an offer, this aforementioned
proposal babbled on about a 'Dark Tournament' and a chance to redeem a sizable amount of money if he were to become a victorious among the selected team of five other competitors, this cash reward was approximately $1,000,000 in cash, however, that was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the prize if he were to win. After skimming his chubby pointer finger against the fine print of the letter, Yakai had discovered that if he were to actually win this competition he would have a chance to achieve his wildest desires! Speculation raced through his mind like dragonflies darting through a swamp, he wasn't sure if this was some kind of joke nor did was he sure exactly what kind of wish he'd want granted, well, he did give it SOME thought, a chance at having his very own freakin' animated waifu become real was an idea that made him overjoyed!

Even if it was some kind of elaborate prank, why waste a possibility like that?! Without a moment to spare he would make haste for the disclosed location in the letter where he would
be introduced to many others, it would soon turn out that this plausible lie was indeed a truth as Yakai and the others were brought to a facility where they were able to hone their
techniques, fighting styles, and other abilities for three whole months! It only being that short amount of time worried Yakai but limited preparation time was better than no preparation
time! Although confident himself, Yakai knows full well this was going to be tough but he hopes that by the time the tournament starts he'll be ready.

The Backstory of the Backstory:
Mr.Manga’s backstory is among the most tragic of stories to ever be written into history, making it a bit 'surprising that apart from growing up in a fairly overprotective and overbearing family, he’s had a pretty normal life as an only child but this would change as only a few years after elementary school would he soon stumble upon anime and manga. Living with moderately wealthy parents it was apparent they’d have a form of entertainment, this coming from both the television set they had in the living room and a modern home-computer which they’d bought for quite a pretty penny! Yakai soon found himself discovering his present day desire of his when late afternoon, he was flipping through several channels only to stop on one and find the epitome of perfection, this being a form of animation known as ‘anime’. As soon as the luminescent glare from the flashing lights came into contact with him, his vulnerable eyes had widened like large dinnerplates with surprise and happiness quickly overcoming them. Never has he seen such flawless artwork in all of his life, moreover, the influential stereotypical anime personalities that he would see would inevitably bring out some of the 'edginess' in his teenage youth after being inspired by the characters and wishing to be them in all of their glory. Many years after he soon became what was known as a ‘fully-fledged’ weeaboo; collecting manga had became a serious hobby of his, why manga? Because he’d always be a step-ahead of everyone! “Ha nerds!” But his parents disapproved of his favorite hobby upon observing him lazily sitting in the living room and staring mindlessly at the television screen; watching some sort of fuzzy headed kid with a yellow jumpsuit throwing ninja stars at some snake person which gave them a rising concern at the concept of how violent these shows were for their child, even his mother had stated “Yakai, what are you watching?! These cartoons are way too graphic for someone your age.” To which his quick response merely went along the lines of “Gosh, it’s not Cartoons it’s called anime, A-N-I-M-E..." he'd continue further in his heated rant.

"It's something you’ll never understand because you’re just a flippin' pleb, it’s a gorgeous work of art that’s just too complicated for your simple mind! You’ll never be able to truly understand it you old wrinkly baka!” Afterwards his mother flew into a wild fury and grounded him for an eternity which didn’t last very long once he reached adult-hood in high school as he dived further in the culture and started becoming more flashy with his desires and showing off his collection of totally sweet collector’s edition magazines imported from Japan but only a few admired his hobbies unlike most who tormented him for his passion. There was one fateful day in particular where a group of rough school bullies that gave the impression of a ridiculous greaser gang approached him wearing signature pompadours; these delinquents were known as 'The Funnel Cakes' and were infamous for reciting their customary phrases such as “Funnel Cakes Rule!” throughout the entire school and pushing random people into lockers, these usually being nerdy students. This band of ruthless bullies would acquire Yakai Damanji's everlasting vengeance after making the horrible decision of ripping up his limited-edition 'Crabbu Man' manga right in front of him; it was also the very same one that he had bought online with his hard-earned Christmas money! This heart-wrenching tragedy caused something to absolutely snap inside the poor lad's mind, with Yakai upset and emotionally bankrupt after what had just happened, he ended up donning his heroic title of Captain Manga, an identity that he had just came up with in the spur of the moment so he could finally stand up for not only himself but all the others who were treated unfairly by these ruffians! This newfound courage gave him the confidence to berate the bullies, calling them a bunch of “Stupid noobs” prior to charging at them with his hefty arms lifted behind his back; imitating that one cool running form he learned from his favorite ninja anime series. Sadly in spite of his bravery he was subsequently beaten up by the bullies who then proceeded to stuff him upside down into one of the smelly garbage cans around the school's cafeteria. Eventually he escaped the clutches of the aluminum entrapment that was the garbage can and soon graduated from his high school. After his graduation, Yakai focused on becoming a self proclaimed hero of the world by rigorously training to obtain the best collection of manga known to man and to also bravely protect those from suffering a terrible past such as his own.
'Shockingly' his initial debut as a one-of-a-kind 'hero' didn't go as well as he expected post-graduation, however, this was primarily a result of his parents enforcing a strict curfew that had him going to bed around 8 P.M. thus making it fairly difficult to charge headfirst into the streets and take the fight to any of those dastardly lawbreakers who would ever dare try to ravage his beloved hometown! Unbeknownst to his parents, there was no 'bed time' stringent enough to keep none other than 'Captain Manga' at bay for very long and because of this fact Yakai was able to carefully sneak out through his bedroom window every once and a while to go and patrol the streets, in pursuit for any potential crime afoot. Regrettably this manga-enjoying vigilante would hardly ever come across any actual crime apart from the run-of-the-mill skater crowd that would loiter at the park at night, of course he'd try to correct them in the error of their ways but they'd end up just ignoring him or laughing in his face, making Yakai demoralized to the point where he would go home and sob in his favorite waifu-printed dakimakura for hours on end. Luckily or unluckily for Yakai his opportunity at heroics would actually come into fruition one night during his patrols where he would encounter a far more dangerous group of people, ranging in numbers every time he'd spy on them. After some time he would learn that they were affiliated with a pretty low-time gang that was known throughout the local area for distributing drugs, it didn't matter what kind of stuff they were peddling so long as they made a quick buck out of it. Not tolerating seeing such despicable acts, it was only a matter of time before Yakai would get involved, or should I say, Captain Manga?
As you might of expected the first time he interjected in their criminal acts, he was outright laughed at but unlike before he did not falter in the face of mockery but instead stood his ground until the gang got sick of having him around and resorted to beating him up, leaving a bruised and battered Yakai to go home and lick his wounds.

One would expect him to simply give up and throw in the towel after being delivered such a nasty whooping but in almost surprisingly heroic behavior, instead of moving on, Yakai remained determined to keep coming back time after time again, even if this concluded with him getting sent back home covered in welts, black eyes, and minor cuts. Predictably this constant emergence of Yakai barging in and announcing himself as 'Captain Manga' and spouting off the usual corny phrases was starting to get on the nerves of these gang members until one day things had reached their boiling point, this very day would change the fate of Yakai Damanji forever as it would mark the origin of his 'awakening'. It appeared as if it was like any other of the previous times he would show up, the scoundrels were in there usual spots; discussing small-talk and coming up with a scheme to sell more drugs and up their profit margin. Although once 'Captain Manga' arrived to 'bust things up', the normal goofy ambience of arrival became eerie as if something was about to happen and even Yakai had felt this strange presence; a sensation of growing fright crawling down his spine as he approached. To his dismay he'd immediately find out why the atmosphere had grown much darker as one of the drug-dealers had retrieved a knife from their coat-pocket with a somber scowl forming across their face, at this point Yakai knew he was in over his head but as he turned to try and leave he'd end up getting cornered by the other members of the gang who would him in place despite his struggle. By the looks of things they weren't going to just beat him up but maim him, or worse, kill him and this dramatic realization had Yakai questioning if being 'Captain Manga' was really worth this kind of risk now that he was possibly going to get stabbed because of his foolish dreams of becoming a hero.

As the knife-wielding criminal approached, Yakai could feel his heartbeat soaring out of his chest as if he was on the verge of having a full-blown heart attack. He'd never experienced such overwhelming fear in his entire life and he genuinely thought he was about to faint the closer that this menacing man got, until he actually did. He couldn't speak or feel anything but he was
fully capable of hearing what was happening outside of this 'unconscious state' of his and at the time Yakai thought he had just been killed by these people but that's when he heard an unfamiliar voice speak out, projecting itself throughout his head like a speaker reverberating in an enclosed space. He questioned who this voice was coming from as it wasn't from the gang members, in fact, it wasn't even speaking English but another language? He didn't have much time to think however as this voice grew dim yet just seconds after the voices of the criminals would all chime in unison at once with terrible screams, followed-up by sounds of intense fighting before eventually the startling sounds around Yakai had ceased and miraculously he was able to see through his own eyes once more but what he saw had baffled him. Surrounding the portly figure were several of previous criminals now lying on the pavement unconscious with their appearances now being very unsightly from the injuries they had sustained, fortunately none of them had been killed, however, they were most definitely not going to be eating their food with a spoon anytime soon. This mystifying discover made him self-reflect at what had happened as nobody was around, that voice hadn't came from anywhere and there was nobody to be seen at all, did this mean that
he was responsible for this?

At long last was he, in all actuality, a true bonafide hero?!

Hearts desire:
Yakai's greatest desire is to make his waifu a real, living, breathing girl! He believes that only she will be able to understand
him, unlike those other girls who always make fun of him and get their beefed-up, meat-headed boyfriends to beat him up. This time, he'll
finally obtain the love of his life! (Or so he thinks). Plus he believes that having an attractive babe at his side will help improve his image and
will make it so that people stop making fun of him.

Weapons:
Yakai has a wide assortment of traditional martial arts weapons at his disposal; commonly found stuffed inside
of his backpack he carries around everywhere, which oddly enough is the very same one he wore to school despite the
ridicule of students and protest of teachers to remove those perverted drawing stickers off his bag. This piece of luggage
contains numerous weapons that Yakai will utilize, albeit, most likely failing spectacularly in actually using them because
of how inept he is without the employment of his special techniques. (These weapons are things like Katanas, Tonfas, Kamas,
Nunchaku, Etc. Being that Yakai believes himself to be a 'hero', these tools of his are all made out of wood; leaving little room
for them to actually kill someone).

Special techniques:
- Failure Empowerment: The fountainhead of his power comes from his unnatural ability to absorb strength from failure.
Yakai's Failure Empowerment acts first and foremost as a passive technique, one that simply stores energy gained from
his faults into his body until his secondary techniques are activated. Once unleashed, Yakai's physical prowess will begin
to rapidly rise, using the stock-piled energy up as a fuel source to improve his athletic abilities drastically as well empowering
the techniques listed below.
- Ancestral Possession: This prized technique of his allows him to adopt the same ideology, personality, skills, and so on as
a random legendary warrior, whether that be one fabricated from folklore or one that has actually existed at one point. Ancestral
Possession serves as a great 'ally' to Yakai for it is able to put someone far more competent and experienced in his place. By blending
his persona and abilities together; Yakai becomes a very formidable opponent. (As his persona changes, so will his outfit in order to
match the persona he has taken on).

- Energy Imbuement: The lackluster weapons that he has jam-packed inside of his backpack might not be very 'useful' because
of their susceptibility to breaking but nonetheless the natural properties of these materials will alter once they've been imbued with
Yakai's stored energy, as a result, his arsenal becomes shatterproof and far more dangerous in its now current state with his
energy itself becoming the means of damaging his opponent.
- Aura Projection / Aura Manifestation: A secondary effect of Yakai's Ancestral Possession that causes the dominant aura of
the fabled person now 'in control' of his body to manifest into a visible display that will envelop his physique and can furthermore
be used as a means of attack; otherwise known as 'Aura Projection', a talent that's able to cast out harmful shockwaves of miasma.

Fighting style:
Naturally he's someone that will try to use his own weight to advantage since it's the only chance he really has against
someone who is stronger than him, not that it really helps at all considering he's a complete amateur at grappling and
hand to hand combat in general.

Weaknesses:
- Doesn't know how to actually properly fight without Ancestral Possession so even with his 'Failure Empowerment' being
active, it's simply uncontrolled raw power, meaning that he will be fighting blind.
- Attractive women for the most part are able to lure Yakai in a false sense of security, leaving him vulnerable if
they wished to attack him.
- Being that his main power which is 'Failure Empowerment' is the primary source of which the other techniques rely on,
Yakai cannot use any other abilities unless this has been activated. This'll lead to him getting his ass handed to him a lot
in a fight, at least during the first half.

Name: Yuna Zalesh
Age: 431yrs
Species: Lotus Sage demon
Gender: Female
Title: The secretary,
Power Rank: C+

Personality: Yuna is a far cry from most of demon kind. She is compassionate and unusually kind, she seems shy and timid and most would not see her as a warrior. That said she has been known to be a bit masochistic enjoying pain caused to herself and others. Her devotion to Raiju is nigh limitless however it is very apparent that she has romantic emotions towards him yet if asked she will state that “he is not hers” and that “one who will be hers will come in due time.” She will often mention a Mistress of hers called Lady Diane stating that all she does she does for her.

Backstory: All anyone seems to know is that she came to earth specifically to find Raiju under the orders of a Lady Diane. Yuna herself will not divulge any more information and only Raiju seems to know anything about it but his lips are likewise sealed tight.

(To be revealed.)

Hearts desire: To Serve Raiju and her Mistress in demon world.

Weapons: Bladed Fan- A simple iron bladed fan with a thin but strong wire from its back wrapped around her wrist.

Special techniques:
Splitting Ache- After throwing the fan a brief surge of demon energy will cause it to open inside of the target.

Gale of Pain- With a swipe of the fan powerful blades of wind and demon energy are launched in a barrage.

Embrace of Wind- a shell that can be spawned around Yuna made of demon energy and wind that will reflect ranged attacks and deflect melee attacks.

Reaping Gust- A massive blade of wind capable bisecting even large foes.

Fighting style:
Yuna is an evasive distance fighter wirh a knack for immobilizing opponents with chains and consecutive attacks that force them to move in a specific direction or get hit. She uses her technical expertise and skill in psychological analysis to predict her opponent’s moves and punish them accordingly.

Weaknesses:
Rushdown fighters are a problem, foes who use speed rivaling what the wind can do will always out-speed her, Melee combat is her least proficient combat type.
