A conniving little parasite. Yuki acts generally innocent and cutesy to get in the good graces of everyone around him, but that nice act of his is just that- an act. He likes to get to know people to spy out where their weaknesses lie and to exploit that, or to manipulate someone into doing what he wands. Yuki is beyond selfish and tramples over anybody he pleases in pursuit of personal fulfillment. Yuki is still very immature due to still being in high-school, though, so sometimes he'll unintentionally act like the kid he is.

Background:
"Yuki's not really all that old and his family's not particularly special either. Sure, he's has always been a sweet-talker and knows how to wrap adults around his finger, but Yuki hasn't really done much. Sure, he may have been the only one to ever engage in Ante duels at his school, but so what? The other kids just needed to get better if they didn't want to lose their cards to him like that. The teachers sure don't side with the other kids. Yuki's such an innocent soul- he wouldn't maliciously steal from anyone! Though Yuki does want to face some actual competition soon... it's boring to beat the same easy targets over and over again. He wants to make some big-shot lose, that'd be great! It'd be nice if he wasn't stuck in school all day, though...

"My deck and I are both masks and shield ourselves - for better or worse. I like that fact. It gives me a line of justification from brats like you."

A short, averagely built boy who has an... interesting... way of appearing to others. He guises himself as the opposite sex on face value, using it to hide who he really is, and avoid suspicion. He wears a torn black coat (as in, torn at the sleeves and edges along the bottom), a yellow buttoned top below that, and a combo of white long socks and boots - and along his back, a white bag for whatever they wish to hold. Their eyes are a captivating pink and their hair is a short, neatly folded red, covering the top centre of his eyes.

Personality: Make no mistake, this is a monster under disguise. In his disguise, he's a sweet little soul with generosity to burn and outright enthusiasm and loyalty to those he's with. Flip the switch and head to the battle field, the real beast is shown. The dude is merciless, not only reflected in his now apparent lack of restraint, but even his deck flips a switch in the same degree.
Likes: Soft things, eavesdropping
Dislikes: Studying, persistence
Background: Neglected and refused the right to develop, as their parents wanted a girl, instead of a boy. So he managed to swipe a few things and totally disguise himself, getting the development needed and has never told them since, or broken his cover. To this day, very few find out his secret and escape to tell others. But if the secret spreads far enough, it will completely tarnish his reputation he worked to get.
Skills: For some reason, really darn good at organising and multitasking.

Personality: Quite a boyish personality mirroring that of Jaden Yuki from GX era. She sleeps through most of her classes, and tends to be a trouble maker at times. However, she always fights for what's right, and will stand up for the weak. She tends to make friends with anyone who impresses her in a duel.
Likes: Dueling, romance with both boys and girls (She's Bi), Sleeping through class.
Dislikes: Demon looking monsters (Huge fear of Fiend types, unless it's Kuriboh or a similar cute monster), Skeletons, Snakes.

Background: Daughter of Yusei Fudo and unnamed mother. She began dueling at age 7, using a deck based on her own dad's. However, while the theme of swarming is around in the deck, and focuses on summoning Stardust Dragon and it's Offspring card (The Stardust Spark Dragon is it's child in this universe.), It isn't the Synchron deck, but rather a new archetype known as speedroids. She inherited her father's Winning streak, so far being undefeated In a duel, and has yet to find an equal.

Skills: Good at tests, as shown that she wears a Obelisk Blue uniform and is passing (Guess she isn't as bad as Jaden.), Good mechanic (Built her own duel runner from scratch. Her helmet is the spare Yusei has for second passengers.), Good at deck building.
Special Powers: She possesses all six marks of the crimson Dragon on her back. However, this has not ever been activated unless she is in a turbo duel with high stakes.

Personality: She is quite shy talking to others in school. She doesn't talk about her dueling experiences or the fact she's Jack Atlas's kid. Whenever she is dueling outside of school, she wears a Demon mask over her eyes to conceal her identity, and the outfit in the above image. Under this guise, she calls herself Claudias, King of the Archfiend Dragons. It also should be known she enjoys hurting people under this Alias in Duels.
Likes: Reading, being in the library, Dragon type monsters. Hurting others (Claudias)
Dislikes: Being discovered as Claudias's alter ego, Yukari.
Background: Daughter of Jack Atlas and Carly Carmine. She doesn't like people knowing about her dueling due to how violent she gets in them. In order to hide the secret, she adopted a disguise, and passes herself off as a boy. She also inherited her father's monster, Red Dragon Archfiend, and has a offspring card of it as well. Two in fact, one representing herself (Scarlight), and Claudias (Hot).
Skills: Good as a mechanic, can hold up in a fist fight on her own, great at making herself have a deeper, childish voice.
Special Powers: Whenever she duels, other people get hurt when they get hit by LP damage. It comes with a split personality, where she enjoys other peoples pain, Sadist in other words.

Personality: Ezra is enthusiastic about several things. Food, fandoms he's part of, and dueling. He'll happily talk about any of those, but loses interest if other subjects come up. While he generally seems laid back and upbeat, he's got issues when it comes to grudges and unfairness. He views any means of getting even one can get away with as fair play if it's proportionate to the wrong, be it beating someone in a duel or using his computer skills to dig up dirt. When it comes to dueling, Ezra prefers to bury his opponent quickly under a barrage of powerful monsters, relying on his Kozmo monsters' abilities to bring out more of themselves to flood the field early on with any late game strategy relying on regaining lifepoints and the field advantage.

Background: Ezra was average in terms of most things, be it grades or friends. After graduation he used his tech skills to earn a living helping out with computers (with an unofficial side job as a white hat hacker). His formative memory from childhood was being picked on by bullies before being defended by his friends, which he tied to his love of the Space Wizard War Travels series (the in-universe movie the Kozmo cards are based on, in real life they're based on Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz) and inspired him to build his Kozmo deck.

Skills: Planning and organizing, memorizing information, finding the shortest distance between two points.

  Personality: A child who constantly laments the fact that he can no longer play his Kaiju deck as he is supposed to uphold some arbitrary title as the 'Pendulum Master'. He frequently expresses his views on society and its rather... blatant flaws, to the point of utter annoyance. Though he originally wanted to just 'live quietly in a tiny apartment for the rest of his life', that is no longer possible, because it appears as though the Masters of Duel Monsters tend to always get roped into all forms of shenanigans.
  
  While he enjoys his frequent duels, Raidriar is known to constantly trashtalk his opponent is some sort of cryptic language of the internet, a skill he has learned from countless hours wasted on online games. He's got a pretty foul mouth, cursing whenever and wherever he wants, and stubbornly refuses to believe stuff like 'spirits' exist, until he's been dragged to hell and back by one. He really hates the fact that people always get way too carried away with duels, and finds their talking extremely cringeworthy. Who the hell gives a massive monologue when summoning a monster?

  Raidriar had never foreseen his future to end up here, a Pendulum Master at this stupidly early age, struggling to get schoolwork done in midst of hundreds of randos challenging him to duels for his title.
  
  The boy has always been an avid fan of games, and preferred learning the more off-mainstream subjects such as math and science, as opposed to dueling. In his eyes, ever since a young age, the society that was around him always seemed bizarre. Surely, a card game wasn't the ultimate solution to everything, right? He's ignored it for a long time, choosing to not dwell on the fact.
  
  Despite reading his fair share of visual novels, Radriar seemed to never notice all the telltale signs of some chuuni protagonist around him. For one, he lived in an apartment by himself, and somehow manages to pay off rent by some ungodly method (he duels people for money). One day, he decided that the regular Kaiju deck wasn't going to cut it anymore, and he wanted to have some fun with another deck, and thus he threw together a random pendulum-orientated deck in about 3 minutes, out of random cards in his binder of booster pack filler.
  
  Then, he proceeded to thrash this random guy on the street. Like, utterly thrash. Amorphage literally locks down every special-summon orientated deck. (literally every deck ever) And after that, he somehow became the Pendulum Master. Don't even ask. Apparently the guy he beat was the previous Pendulum Master, and said Master got thrashed so hard he relinquished his title to a kid...
  
  Aaaand, here we are. As asshole Amorphage player who can't get his homework in on time because of these damn people bugging him for duels. If he joined took duel classes seriously, he'd probably get A's all over...

  Personality: The 'Unrelenting Queen of Red-Eyes', it's quite hard to actually make a solid judgment on Akane's character based off gossip that circulates campus grounds. Yet, the basis of these claims remains fundamentally the same- the countless foes crushed underfoot by this student, and the legion of Red-Eyes monsters that follows. A blazing inferno, merciless and cruel, an ebon that gleams darker than the Black Dragon itself.
  
  Well, if anything, her deck reflects her own recklessness, if anything; burning opponents to death with almost no regard for her own life points. That said, Akane seems to prefer fists over cards when it comes to settling disputes, or perhaps the occasional pocket knife (which has gotten her into trouble more times than she could count). Carved across her face is a sly, almost threatening grin, paired a sadistic attitude, providing herself entertainment at the infuriation and loss of others.
  
  That said, all that is perhaps a mere facade she upholds, as to live up to the chatter and gossip. Those close to her see a completely different side to Akane- one that is determined to climb the ranks of the dueling world and to surpass the four that are crowned as 'Masters'. She's surprisingly concerned about people she genuinely cares about, and would genuinely come to their aid, regardless of her own gains. Her recklessness is still retained.
  
  So then, which is the mask, and which is the true face?

  Her crimson eyes hold an anomalous power, though she hasn't quite realized it herself, and what their true purpose lies.

  No outstanding family background, no abnormal upbringing, hell, nobody even heard of a girl named 'Akane Akatsuki' until she rocked up at an entrance exam, and proceeded to stomp everyone present under her heel, using what could only be described as a 'subpar', incoherent mash of Red-Eyes and dragon cards. No Xyz, no Fusion, hell, the girl didn't even possess an Extra Deck at the time. she otk'd them with the biggest Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon ever.
  
  She was subsequently placed in Obelisk Blue, and throughout the years, showed consistent success. As Blue-Eyes was constantly regarded as a superior to Red-Eyes, when Akane developed her style of Duel, utilizing swarms of Red-Eyes monsters, she consequently gained a nickname of 'Red-Eyes of Obelisk Blue' among the underclassmen. or as he likes to call it, her 'kawaii-sou kohai-dachi A large portion of cards in her deck were in fact other, rare cards won from other students, doing even less help to her already declining reputation. Most notably, her Ace-Monster, 'Meteor Black Comet Dragon' was won off of a particularly snotty brat who thought himself next King of Games. Clearly, he wasn't.
  
  Notably, her style of dueling became more cruel, burning opponents' life points directly, with no regard for herself. It was during this time her behavior became less... suitable for a school, injuring more than just a couple of students for all sorts of trivial reasons. Had it not been the fact that she shows outstanding promise as a duelist, some even going as far as to say that she 'has what it takes to usurp a master', she would likely have been expelled from the academy.
  
  Now, we are at the present day, having returned from a year of expulsion. And perhaps, Akane is now in for a little more than simply crushing people underfoot, though she may not know herself yet.

Yet, the basis of these claims remains fundamentally the same- the countless foes crushed underfoot by this student, and the legion of Red-Eyes monsters that follows. A blazing inferno, merciless and cruel, an ebon that gleams darker than the Black Dragon itself.
  
  Well, if anything, her deck reflects her own recklessness, if anything; burning opponents to death with almost no regard for her own life points. That said, Akane seems to prefer fists over cards when it comes to settling disputes, or perhaps the occasional pocket knife (which has gotten her into trouble more times than she could count). Carved across her face is a sly, almost threatening grin, paired a sadistic attitude, providing herself entertainment at the infuriation and loss of others.
  
  That said, all that is perhaps a mere facade she upholds, as to live up to the chatter and gossip. Those close to her see a completely different side to Akane- one that is determined to climb the ranks of the dueling world and to surpass the four that are crowned as 'Masters'. She's surprisingly concerned about people she genuinely cares about, and would genuinely come to their aid, regardless of her own gains. Her recklessness is still retained.

  No outstanding family background, no abnormal upbringing, hell, nobody even heard of a girl named 'Akane Akatsuki' until she rocked up at an entrance exam, and proceeded to stomp everyone present under her heel, using what could only be described as a 'subpar', incoherent mash of Red-Eyes and dragon cards. No Xyz, no Fusion, hell, the girl didn't even possess an Extra Deck at the time. she otk'd them with the biggest Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon ever.
  
  She was subsequently placed in Obelisk Blue, and throughout the years, showed consistent success. As Blue-Eyes was constantly regarded as a superior to Red-Eyes, when Akane developed her style of Duel, utilizing swarms of Red-Eyes monsters, she consequently gained a nickname of 'Red-Eyes of Obelisk Blue' among the underclassmen. or as he likes to call it, her 'kawaii-sou kohai-dachi A large portion of cards in her deck were in fact other, rare cards won from other students, doing even less help to her already declining reputation. Most notably, her Ace-Monster, 'Meteor Black Comet Dragon' was won off of a particularly snotty brat who thought himself next King of Games. Clearly, he wasn't.
  
  Notably, her style of dueling became more cruel, burning opponents' life points directly, with no regard for herself. It was during this time her behavior became less... suitable for a school, injuring more than just a couple of students for all sorts of trivial reasons. Had it not been the fact that she shows outstanding promise as a duelist, some even going as far as to say that she 'has what it takes to usurp a master', she would likely have been expelled from the academy.
  
  Now, we are at the present day, having returned from a year of expulsion. And perhaps, Akane is now in for a little more than simply crushing people underfoot, though she may not know herself yet.

A tall, slightly above average girl, who likes to keep to herself and hoard as much information as possible. She wears a long sleeved white hoodie, a light red shirt below that (of which has a flower pattern on the front of it, think of it like a rose), and below there, a combo of a white short skirt, light red knee-high socks and dark blue heels. Her hair is long, messy (in frills) and flowing down to her shoulders in it's light green colour, with her eyes being a midpoint between pink and red, with crosses as pupils. Thanks to time alone in heck-knows, Fuma's skin tone is also a weird, slightly rotten teal-looking colour, though she quotes it does not mean anything to her.

While she may come up with some great or possible awful ideas, she's nervous to share them to others out of fear of what they may actually think. She tries to gather as much information as she can, but is hellbent on helping people through troubles with this hobby of hers. However, Fuma has a snarky selfish attitude, and will usually not help anyone or anything unless she could gain something from it.

Dislikes: Loneliness, loud noises
Background: A sheltered girl who had nothing but herself and her knowledge to grow up on, albeit limited at the time, was barely getting by. During this time, she stumbled across a crud ton of left change left behind when she visited an old shack to hide in. So what did she do with it? Turn her life around, then get somethings she wanted? Yeah, she did that for the most part, but was still stuck in her mostly deteriorated state, so her condition never improved. She wept regularly out of fear of being lonely while her state only got worse, then a deck of her Duel Monsters cards she had bought began speaking to her, unable to stand her weeping. From that point onward, she has had a family of monsters, but she still seeks a partner for life.
Skills: Having plenty of time living alone, she has more than adapted how to cook and sort out meals for herself and, in turn, others.
Special Powers: Fuma's monsters can be summoned in and out of a duel at any time, and they take physical bodies, with powers and abilities as close to real as possible without breaking boundaries, and allowing them to speak (thus also giving them personalities). She can recall them at any time she wants in the real world, but with the monsters having physical bodies now, this means the damage is also real and could potentially be fatal.

Ghostrick Dullahan - As loyal as one could get, literally cannot be swayed. Endlessly dutiful, and has a 'lot' of knowledge on legendary moments in Duel Monsters history. Has an awful sense of direction. His horse is called Maximillion.​

Ghostrick Socuteboss - Both sadistic 'and' masochistic at the same time. Easily excited and riled up (and is really socially active as a result) while her mind wanders in varying senses and ways. Can be really clingy as she never wants to let go of those she is interested in.​

Ghostrick Alucard - Certified jerk, overly dramatic, and self prideful. Rarely talks a lot or even shows up, but you'd think the 2nd best Ghostrick there is has a secret talent to put to use? He does. He loves to spy on people for one reason or the other.​

• Background: Axel was born to a less-than fortunate family in Neo Domino City, and put up for adoption by parents that did not have the means to care for an infant. Finding a new home before he could even speak, he was taken in by the Kujo family, who ran a duel runner business in the more business-oriented part of town. He was the adopted younger brother of a fairly decent turbo duelist, and always had a fascination with become a duelist himself. After forming a deck of his own, he took part in several youth league tournaments and a few casual duels against friends. He quickly became a skilled duelist in his own right, forming an ego almost on par with the late Seto Kaiba's. Truth of the matter was, however, Mitsuo was only the best among amateurs. Once he reached the next tier of duelists, he was swiftly shown that his skills needed great improvement. While he did improve, quickly taking a liking to the synchro summoning method with a new deck, it still wasn't enough to surpass his older brother. Before he got the chance to prove his merit, however, Axel's brother unfortunately passed away in an accident involving his duel runner. This sparked a further fire in the young Axel to improve even more and take his brother's role and place. He even adopted his brother's deck in hopes of further understanding his brother's skill.
  Personality: Axel is rather arrogant. His talent as a duelist and the strength of his deck has led him to believe that he is one of the best in the world while only having dealt with amateurs or lower skill duelists. This has also given him a mighty bad temper when put in a struggle, often negating his sense of tactics in a pinch. In the midst of a duel if he can keep his attitude in check, he's one to examine the situation and play things to his advantage, though he often can't tell or chooses to ignore when he is disadvantaged. Even though he has his arrogant moments, Axel almost idolizes his brother, even after death. Everything his brother taught him during their youth, every memory he has of his brother, are all precious to him such that he holds them dearer than anything. If that's trampled on, he's angered to the extreme.

In a duel, he'd be more than happy to point out an opponent's misplays and even help them learn how to be better. He really considers himself an overall nice guy, one that'd be happy to be open about issues with his peers and help them out in their personal lives with whatever issues that they needed to be worked out. Though not a stellar scholar in terms of academics, Tensei is a bright kid that prizes himself on his quick-thinking and resourcefulness. He really cares for those in his class, even the nastier kids. Though he holds little care for bullies and mean-spirited people, he'd still go out of his way to help them in a struggle.
  
  Abilities: Tensei was a unique being, born with a mystical eye that would allow him to see and communicate with the duel monster spirits. He can even use his eye to cause them to have physical form as well as calm their rage, such is the case with his ace monster.
  
• Tensei was born to parents who hated the duel monsters game. They found the game absolutely appalling and the fact that it was so popular something horrible, but Tensei was hopeful that they would come around to it. He really took a liking to it, and as an only child he was quick to ask his parents for cards of his own to have. They refused, but his uncle reluctantly gave him a deck of cards that he used to entertain people and taught him a few tricks of the trade. Tensei began to grow quite fond of his uncle, spending more time with him to get a better grasp on the game. He had began making modifications to his uncle's old deck, adding in new cards and personalizing it a bit more. Each card was carefully chosen, and he did so with joy. Soon after, he found out the powers his differently-colored eye gave him as he began communing with the duel spirits of his deck. When he came into possession of his boss monster, he found it was almost untameable. It took him a great deal of time to be able to sooth the crazy beast, but he managed it.

  Personality: Emilia was never one to have too large an ambition. In fact, her only goal as of right now is to advance to Obelisk Blue. Yep, that's her life goal. Secondly, she's very indecisive, reflected in the many different decks she had attempted to use before some random weirdo threw a bunch of cards in front of her. Her indecisiveness is also seen in her duels, where she becomes unsure of what Kaiju she wants to summon.
  
  She's rather timid around strangers, which made her a prime target for bullies for a while, who even went as far as to take her cards after repetitively leaving her in the dust after duels. However, she's quite talkative when speaking to people online, whether it be by text or voice-chat.

  Her story is quite bland.
  
  It begins like any should, with two parents like any other. She grew up in an environment with a healthy amount of Duel-Monsters. While she had no dream to stand toe-to-toe to the masters of the dueling world, she nonetheless aspired to be a great duelist.
  
  This brought her to Duel Academy, where she was originally placed in Slifer Red. However, a year of tireless work had paid off, and she was moved into Ra Yellow, one step closer to her final goal - Obelisk Blue. However, her time would be occupied by a large number of bullies, who repetitively beat her down time and time again, and she never kept her rare cards for more than a week at most. In fact, it was a miracle she had even managed to ascend to Ra with a deck that lacked strong supports.
  
  Recently, she had lost her deck yet again, when some weird-looking guy threw a stack of cards in front of her. After picking all the cards off the floor, they seemed to make a complete 40-card Kaiju Deck, which she appears to be using as a substitute deck until she could win her old cards back.
