A few questions that I had just considered this morning.
1. Are duel spirits allowed, as they tend to have at least some role in many shows and manga, or no?
2. I've yet to watch Arc-V, though I'm semi-familiar with 5D's (it's been a while since I got to watch it), will that suffice?
3. Judging by the mention of action duels and master rule three being present, we'll be at a timeline similar to Arc-V, but not necessarily that universe?

1. Yes. My character herself has 6. The four lvl 3-2 Dragon Maids, their fusion, and Felgrand. A good thing about having duel spirits is that it can add character to the cards themselves.

2. Of course, just make sure you follow the Deck construction guidelines.

3. Yes. It's similar, but not that universe. This universe is actually set in 5D's but with XYZ and Pendulum being new cards that were introduced for a while.

I actually have an arc already in the works that involves duel spirits. Not going to reveal too much information yet, but Buster Blader is the villain for this arc.

Interesting choice, I always figured buster blader as the heroic dark knight sort've character, I'm interested to see what's done.
