The waitress approached the table just as Jackie stated this placing the plates down carefully. Before smiling and walking away oblivious to his haste.

Madi looked at the food, hiding her disgust. She wiggled her eyebrows. "Mmm.. fate says otherwise my friend. Also, i hope i sorta improved. It would suckif i didnt.
 
"Oh there we go. Finally. Thanks." Dex commented after seeing the food, flashing the waitress a grateful smile before his eyes focused on his burger. He glanced up to Jackie, "Sorry man. If you could wait that'd be awesome. I doubt we'll take too long." And without further ado, the brown haired teen took the massive sandwich in his hands and took a large bite, humming in delight.


"Best damn burger I've had in a while." He commented after swallowing, and continued eating without a care in the world. He hadn't eaten ever since yesterday - besides the banana he got from Moose - and he could feel his batteries recharging.


"Oh, I'm sorry - good apetite." He said, and quickly continued wolfing down on his food until there wasn't anything left. He drank what was left of his coffee to wash the food down, and exhaled, "God, I feel friggin' rejuvenated."

Madi rose her brows and chuckled at dex consuming his burger so fast. "Woah, i cant even remember what it looked like. There was a full burger there a second ago, right?"
 
Pate finished his apple, spacing out the entire time whilst eating it. Ah, food. I have missed you so. Let us never part again. He put down the fresh core onto his plate. He recalled the conversation that half listened to. He began, very content and smiling, "Oh, and an answer to your question from before, I'm in Pre-Law. I want to be a defense lawyer or a maybe a judge some day." He took the extra apple off of the table that nobody seemed to want and started to eat it. With a small mouthful of apple he said, "Ja, the store sounds like a good plan."
 
Jackie nodded drumming his fingers on the table drinking his water, trying to relax. If dex can hurry, that'd be great he thought. Remembering the orange he peeled it at the table.
 
"Eh... guess I was hungrier than I thought." Dexter admitted, and chuckled slightly before raising his hand, "Waitress? Can we get our bill? Thanks." He turned back to Marcus and Pate, "You guys ready?"
 
Pate made an awkward pelvic thrust into the air in order to get the right angle on his wallet in his pocket. He took a dollar out of the wallet labeled in small letters "AE". He took out the dollar and placed it on the table. He smiled a bit and said, "Sure, ready when you guys are." He felt rejuvenated from the meal.
