((For the sake of organization, I will be color coding my posts. Sam will be in This color. Andre will be in This color.))

Sam walked with her smaller bag slung on her shoulder, trolley clicking and clacking before her. She walked through the familiar corridors of King's Cross Station. "It never changes. Always busy." Sam said. She looked around, admiring the scenery. She finally got to the entrance to platform 9 3/4 and didn't even pause before walking through the gateway. Instantly, she was met with the hustling and bustling of other students and their families. She loaded her trunk and other items into the storage car and made her way inside. She walked through the corridors of the train and found an empty car. She took the window seat and sat down, excited to see what this next year would bring for her.

Andre walked along the corridors of King's Cross Station. He had somehow managed to snag the noisiest trolley. The wheel squealed and the hand bar rattled. Good thing he only had a little farther to go. He looked back at his Mother who had her nose buried in a brochure of some kind. " I don't know why you always pick those up. It's not like you haven't been here before." He smiled, her habits had a tendency to do that. "I know, I know," His mother replied, tucking the brochure under her arm. "They are still fun." She smiled at her son and they kept walking. They approached and went through the gateway and swiftly made their way to the baggage car, avoiding some excited first years along the way. After his stuff was all packed and he was ready to go he headed for a door into the passenger cars. He turned around and gave his mother a good long hug. "See you, Son. Write when you get there and have fun this year." His mother said. "I will." "I love you, Andre." His mother replied, pulling away. "I love you too, Mum. Take care." He entered the train car and found the first empty car. He looked out the window and watched his mother walk away.

"Bye mum. Yes, I packed my owl. Yes I know I can't fly my letters to you myself. Yes I know, it's against the rules. Mum, I really need to get on the train now." Johanna was talking to her mother through a car window. "Ohhh, I know, but you've tried it several times since you did that.... thing-"

"It's called being an Animagi mother-"

"Yes, that, you know I'll never remember-"

"Muuuuuum. I need to go!" She was hopping back and forth, her things on the trolley behind her. "Oh, alright, come here!" Her mother reached through the window and kissed her cheek, and received a hug in return before driving away. Soon enough she found her way onto the train and was searching for an empty car and ended up slipping into a car with one occupant, a boy clad in the colors of Ravenclaw. She kept her things close to her, (the owl was in the animal carriage) and looked out the window, waiting for the train to leave.

Andre turned, noticing the girl enter the car. She had red hair, similar to his and was wearing Gryffindor colors. He wasn't expecting company, so her appearance was more of a shock than anything else. "Hi." He greeted simply. "I'm Andre. 6th year." He introduced, deciding ignoring her would be rude, even though he wouldn't have minded spending the trip alone.

"What?" She looked up, then looked at the Ravenclaw boy, and suddenly realized that HE had spoken to her. She wasn't exactly expecting to be spoken to, since she was renowned for not being very friendly. Heck, most everyone except first years who didn't know better and AJ avoided her. Probably the "she's weird" vibe they get from me.. Slowly, she replied back, "Johanna. 6th year Gryffindor, obviously." She said, looking at him.

"Ah, yeah. I recognize you now. We've had a few classes together." Andre stated, trying to be nice without it sounding forced. "Don't worry. I won't bother you the whole trip." He removed the book he had planned to read out of his bag and lifted it up. With that, he cracked it open and picked up reading where he had left off yesterday.

"Okay..." She figured it was done after that until-

"EYYYYYYYYYYYY!" AJ bust into the car, threw his stuff down on the seat next to Johanna, making her flinch and jammed himself between her and his luggage, and leaned against her with a huge goofy smile. "Well hello fair maiden!"

"Oh god..."

"Heeeeey don't act like you didn't want to see meeeee," he said pinching her cheek and shaking her head around, playful. The girl took this for a while, then whacked his hand away, sighing and rubbing her face, "I am so sorry you have to deal with this," She said to Andre, then AJ slung his arm over her shoulder playfully and laughed, "Nah, everybody loves AJ!"

The red haired girl only sighed and shrugged his arm off.

Andre chuckled. "Not a problem at all." He closed the book. "Hi, AJ. I'm Andre. Ravenclaw, as you can see. How do you and Johanna know each other?" He asked, making polite conversation. AJ was entertaining. Andre was rather reserved at the moment, but once he got to know someone he was generally just as rambunctious and lighthearted.

"Oh, you know. Fate." He said, putting on a stoic and sophisticated expression on.

"He bashed his broomstick against my head in first year flying classes and hasn't left me alone since." She said, looking at her book.

The Hufflepuff boy stuck his tongue out at her, then laughed at her as she shoved his head away, grabbing onto her hand and tugging on her arm, then leaving her alone. "Hi Andre of Ravenclaw, I'm Alex James Eysaus, AJ, of Hufflepuff." He stuck out a hand for a hand shake.

Andre shook his hand and leaned back in the seat. He looked out the window at all the students and families still bustling about. "I'm hoping we get going soon. It always seems like this trip is too long. Maybe it's just because I'm looking forward to the welcoming feast." He looked back at the others in the car with him. He sighed and reclined in the seat, making himself comfortable and loosening his tie...he always hated that part of the uniform anyhow.

"Yeah, food. Gotta love the eats." The boy began to salivate as he stared off into the distance, fantasizing about food.

"You eat way too much." Johanna started,

"Says you!"

"How do you manage to not gain any weight?"

"I don't know I'm just special!"

"You have the metabolism of a horse!"

The two then proceed to get into an argument about AJ's eating habits, ending with flamingos.

Harry walked briskly down the station platform towards the train, taking in the bustling station at the first day of school. He always enjoyed this time of year from his first day at Hogwarts, excitement in the air was infectious and, to him, the was no better sight then the recently cleaned Hogwarts Express when you enter its platform. It made him feeling nostalgic, a feeling he hoped the students would share at his age.

He placed his suitcase on the package carriage and stepped on, finding a seat behind the chatting trio of older students all from different houses. Him sitting there was by chance, as he had an interest in one of the chatting students.

Heidi couldn’t help but smile; going back to school always made her happy. Hogwarts never really changed, except for the students that came and left every year, but everything always seemed to be just good. She felt at home, there. As she walked down the platform 9¾, seeing everyone saying goodbye to their families, she felt tingling in her stomach, just like every year. Excitement, apprehension. She hugged all her siblings (which was pretty long) and kissed her mother who was crying, as always. Heidi waved goodbye one last time and went in the train, walking for a while before finally finding an empty car. She took a seat and watched the three students chatting pretty actively in the cabin next to hers.

Johanna looked up when she heard the car door open. In stepped the Charms teacher, but she didn't say anything at first. She didn't think teachers took the train to the school. "Professor Sullivan? I didn't know teachers took the train to the school." She said, looking at her teacher curiously. AJ looked up, and smiled at his favorite Charms teacher and waved enthusiastically. "Hello, Professor!" He said.

"Hey, guys." He said with a smile, sitting up from his seat."Heh, its new school policy, a professor has to ride shotgun for safety reasons. Its nothing to worry about just the Ministry being overprotective. Had a good break guys?"

Regan leaned up against her trolley taking deep breaths eyes closed, still recovering from the unpleasant feeling of side-along Apparition. Her and her father had apparated just outside Kings Cross, he spent just enough time to give her a curt goodbye before hesitating and putting a hand on her shoulder. "I- uh, have a good year, keep up your grades and remember what I've told you about the muggleborns and stay away from the Quidditch tryouts, you hear?"

His tone was firm leaving no room to argue, she looked up to his cool grey eyes before nodding. "Yes father I remember, I'll write to you soon."

With that she hear a sharp *pop* and she was left to get her things before heading towards the platform. The station was crowded, the noises and smell of all the eager student tightly packed together made her sick to her stomach. she hurried into the train, her Slytherin colours and knee jerk reaction to whip out her wand were enough that the younger students scurried out of her way. She passed down the corridors noting most of the compartments were full, she didn't see another green and sliver stitch. Grumbling under her breath she saw an empty seat near a Ravenclaw engrossed in another group's conversation. She shuffled over to the vaguely familiar girl in blue, dragging her trunk behind her she was slightly pink in the face and out of breath from the effort. "That seat there, is it free?" she huffed.

The sound of Regan’s voice “woke up” Heidi from her reverie. She stared at the, she guessed, Slytherin for quite a moment, before nodding, smiling at her. “It is.” She then paused, watching the other girl for a bit, slightly flustered by her stunning hair and sharp eyes. She recognized her as a fifth year student because she remembered watching her get called, on her first day, to be assigned to a house when Heidi was in second year. “Do you need any help with that?” She pointed Regan’s trunk, which the Slytherin visibly had trouble carrying all the way there.

Regan stared at the older girl, trying her best to remember who she was, a Ravenclaw yes, but her name had escaped her. Realizing she was staring longer than acceptable she mentally shook out of her thoughts, and out of her large warm eyes. Her eyes widened at the girls offer to help her. She glanced back at her trunk before hatefully eyeing the shelf above the seats. "No I can handle this." She shrugged her wand out of her sleeve and muttered a Levitation spell to get her truck up there, it took some effort maneuvering it around the luggage already there to slot in but she wouldn't complain. Satisfied it wouldn't fall onto them, she flopped herself down into the seat and twisted to stare again at her current companion with her eyes studying the older girl. "I'm Donovan, Regan Donovan. You are?"

Heidi watched as the other girl carefully put her trunk in the shelf, ready do catch it if it fell down. She relaxed more in her seat when her new acquaintance sat down as well. “That’s an amazing name, I love it. Where does it come from?” She asked, interested “Oh, and by the way, I’m Heidi Vivaldi Winter, but just call me Heidi.

Regan caught herself smiling at this girls friendliness, which she abruptly stopped, she hasn't befriended inside her own house let alone from others and the ones in her house.. were more for convenience. She hasnt had a friend since her mom died. If she had her way she's spend her time alone next to the lake or in a hide away she found in one of the school's towers. Netherless she relaxed, "Donovan, it's an Irish family name from my father's side, Micheal Donovan, Regan is another Irish name, my family is a bit traditional." She hide a quite laugh, yes her father is strict and traditional, everything her mother wasn't. "Hedi.. now that's an interesting name but I bet everyone calls you that right? But Violet, how about I call you Vi? she teased confidently. Winters she mused, going through the list of names in her head. Wait.. she must be a muggleborn.

She listened and nodded as Regan talked, chuckling when she talked about her traditional father. “That’s totally my mother. See, my name? It’s so…old. We all have ancient names in our family. But, talking about Ireland, ” She thought for a moment, her brows slightly furrowing. “Vi’s alright. But Heidi is better.” After a moment, she decided to ask, unsure if she remembered well. “If I’m not mistaken, you’re in fifth year, mmh?” She smiles.

Muggleborn, Regan was certain. Her father may work with muggles but he made it very clear to Regan about where they stand with them and their accidental magical offspring. At that though Regan cringed a little, her mother would never say such a thing. Taking a breath she looked up at Hedi's face in time to see her brow furrow with the thought of a new nickname and laughed. A proper laugh this time. "Very well, Vi it is!" In that moment she decided to ignore her father, its not like he'll notice anyway. She tossed her head, shaking her hair out of her robes were it was stuck underneath her collar and looked back at her new... acquaintance. "Yes I am in 5th year, you're 6th right?" She relaxed, leaning into her chair and absent mindedly twirled her wand between her fingers, a habit of hers whether it was a quill, pen, wand or her hair.

AJ smiled and rubbed his head, "I didn't get in any trouble, does that count?" Johanna sighed and rolled her eyes, her eyes on her books in her lap, as she turned a page, she tucked some of her hair behind her ear to get it out of her face, her green eyes fixed on the text in her book. She didn't pay much attention to what was being said. She only read her book. It was a Muggle book, about something as silly as the rapture. Children killing each other. Pfft. As if that will ever happen. She found herself humming a familiar tune, though she wasn't exactly sure where she'd heard it from.

Heidi laughed as well. If she didn't know better, she would have thought that Regan was in sixth year as well, since she looked quite old for her age. "I am, indeed, in sixth year. What's your favourite class so far?" She liked asking this question to people; it's like she discovered a part of people's personality. Your favourite class says a lot about you, you know?

"You didn't get into trouble?! I am shocked...Were you ill or something?"He said in mock shock at AJ, he could hear the sweet trolley from the other side of the carriage. He took out his wallet."This is such an unusual event, it is deserving of something sweet. You guys want, my treat? Andre how about you?"
