For me the past year was fairly inactive in terms of roleplaying, but I managed to find a few good rp partners and also managed to not drop the rp that started in 2018 (even though it slowed down by a lot).
I'm very happy that some of my rp partners are still with me despite my hiatus (and I'm also with them because I've had some that returned after months of inactivity).
I got into a new fandom and was having a blast with roleplays about it.
Tried to play unusual OC, the one that could not speak. It was fun to think of ways to express things with this character! But then the character learned to shapeshift and can speak now lol

A few sad things happened too. I had to quit my one and only group rp that I've been playing for over two years, because I was unable to keep up (time zones are my bane... also Real Life, the #1 enemy of roleplays). And a few days ago I found out that I lost records of one of my favorite old roleplays (it went on hiatus a while ago but was super fun and particularly noteworthy for being the only rp with an irl friend).

In the new year I will try to be more active in roleplaying if life permits. But either way I hope to stay in touch with my rp partners even if we don't rp.

Did you rp everything you wanted to rp?

No. I had a really hard time this year in RL, so I cut back on RPing a bit. Also, a load of people left the site I was on, and I lost motivation to write for some of my longer standing characters. In addition my favourite RP partner took/is taking an extended hiatus, which is just sad for me. I hope he comes back because I LOVE writing with him so much.

Any good rp partners that you met over the past year?

I joined RPN, and I've met some super cool people! I haven't managed to actually RP much with any of them yet... at least not got a back and forth going. But I'm going to namecheck iMeisaki and ashwynne who I am planning 1x1s with, and Destiny_Dreamer Valen Ginko The Mushishi who are the mods on a Naruto RP that is still kinda getting going ... and Necrefiri with whom I aaallllmost got a Hakuoki RP going with off-site.

Also you lovely people who I talk to on here but haven't RPed with! You rule.

Any roleplays you remember?

After taking a break with one of my long-running characters (see above), a friend wanted to write another scene with him. I thought it would be a nice way of easing back in, although still not totally feeling playing this character again. I didn't expect it to be FULL OF FEELS and ALMOST MAKE ME CRY but there you go. :3

I remember all my roleplays! (I hope.) The standout one that started this year but is on hiatus (see above) was a super low-key Bleach 1x1, in which we kind of forewent all the cool powers and so on for something more slice-of-life that happened to turn into a romance.

Did you manage to complete any roleplay?

Completed an epic war storyline that had been brewing for well over a year. I don't really see roleplays as being complete or not as there are always more stories to tell.

Any roleplay regrets of the year?

That I didn't get more roleplay?

Do you have plans on what to rp in the nearest future?

Feudal Japan political drama, 18th century timeslip story, Naruto, Medieval Fantasy, and Hakuoki.

I just want something to last longer than one posting round!
And even better if some of these turn into those epic RPs that really click and you can't stop thinking about.
And I want my fave partner to come back from hiatus because he's too awesome.

I cannot say that I did, but I did get some banging RPs going, even if they did not last. I
Any good rp partners that you met over the past year?
Asteria is always my go to gal and I love her so much. As well as Gobbo even though ours was not able to be completed, I enjoyed what we had managed to get through. I also am in absolute love with Wayward once again, we did not get too far, IRL things happened but I loved what we had. I am very grateful for all of them and I am upset I wasn't really able to give my all until fairly recently now that I have many IRL stuff worked out, but I am happy to have met them
Any roleplays you remember?
I remember just about all of them! And I love all of them so much, even ones I had to drop.
Did you manage to complete any roleplay?
I did not, unfortunately But that is okay.
Any roleplay regrets of the year?
I believe I stayed too long in one RP that I should have left earlier before it drained me so much. I bear no hatred or ill-feelings towards the partner of that RP, but it was really draining on me.
Do you have plans on what to rp in the nearest future?
I do! I plan on throwing myself head first back in the game, hopefully making new connections and starting up some more great RPs that can last nice and long.

- Me two minutes after replying to everyone: WHY IS MY INBOX EMPTY I DEMAND REPLIES RIGHT NOW

I don't know if there is any fixing this, but it is real.

Did you rp everything you wanted to rp?
I mean... yes? In a sense, I wasn't that active this year (for these, I'm including my discord experiences). I got a ton done over the summer, and I'm really proud of them. There are some that I still want to RP, some fine-tuned stuff, but I can do it this year.
Any good rp partners that you met over the past year?
Actually... yes. Not on RPN (seeing that i'm new, 2020's gonna be actually awesome!). I met someone, an owner of a large server, and they're one of my favorite people to RP with!
Any roleplays you remember?
YES! My god, do I remember one RP so well! I was playing an 11 year old boy, who's name is Ransom. It was the first word he heard from the people at the sanitarium. He lived in a sanitarium (the insane kind... it's odd) almost all of his life, and was mutated to have powers. He was also a mute, which was awesome. He and a couple other people were bringing someone who was having a heart attack to the local hospital. As he brought them into there, one of the other people there started to treat her. She suddenly got better (How? Magic, or something. I have no clue.), and started having a panic attack. Ransom, being an 11 y/o, went to go help her.

On a side note, Ransom has the power to create ropes from his hands, distort items around him, and manipulate someone own breathing, from making them suffocate, to making them breathe fire, or something like that.

So... the person he helped was someone who, on rare occasions, had panic attacks that made everything golden around her, starting with her body heating up immensely. Ransom manipulated his own breath, making his breath the coldest thing possible. Alas, it didn't cool her down (this is a magic place, so eh.) He got heavily injured from the attack, pieces of his arm and body burned out, covered in searing hot gold. But he didn't seem effected by it.

By FAR, this was, and is, my favorite RPing moment.
Did you manage to complete any roleplay?
Yes, but to me, an RP is never complete. It's a never ending story.
Any roleplay regrets of the year?
Not exactly. I just wished I RPed more.
Do you have plans on what to rp in the nearest future?
I really want to do a superhero/villian RP, that's player driven with eventual events. i'm also working on an RP server, so... yeah! i'm really excited for 2020, other than WWIII and another plague (and JAZZ)
