WHY WERE YOU AT THE RICHMOND GYM THAT DAY? - She was at the Richmond gym to gain strength for the next swimming meet and to see her 'best friend' Irene.
WHAT LAW WERE YOU BREAKING YOU MUST LIE ABOUT? - In the morning, Allison had an affair with Irene Terrel. When coming home Allison's husband committed a violent act towards Allison however, she must lie about this so her career and money will not fall apart. Allison's husband is her swim coach and is quite wealthy. Arnold Terret committed violent acts on Irene as well that Allison knew of and has witnessed. During the affair, Allison and Irene both smoked Marjuana which Allison will lie about because it could end her career.

Cmatt100 Very interesting, I dig it! Does Allison have a husband or wife or fiance? Although frowned upon, infidelity isn't a crime. If there were more involved, it'd be more impactful. Drugs can get her kicked off the swim team, especially harder drugs. What kind of drugs does she smoke?

Lux___Wolf I don't really think of RObert as the kind of guy who would really break the law, maybe he would pirate stuff but that's really it. Maybe Arnold was on the cycling team with him?

WaitingCynicism Ohh every character witness must break the law on a serious level on that day. That's why they're all committing perjury when they're being cross-examined during a murder case. That's partly why the RP is called "Your Honor".

70% of American adults have broken a law that could get them imprisoned. Robert wouldn't think himself as the kind of guy who breaks the law until the day he has to. Maybe Robert also drove drunk. Maybe he sold Adderall to a friend for desperate money. Maybe Arnold had paid Robert to destroy photo evidence of Irene and Allison intimate together. Robert has made the biggest mistake of his life and now must do everything he can to not pay for it.

You can make it that Robert and Arnold cycle together, sure.

Allison has a husband however, she is only married him for the money and to coach her. However, there is violence in the relationship on the day as Allison didn't come home the night before. I know infidelity isn't a crime but, she is going to lie about it because she wouldn't want to lose her husband or career. She smokes marijuana with Irene on the day when having the affair on both their husbands. Allison's husband is also good friends with Arnold Terrel. Lux___Wolf

WHAT LAW WERE YOU BREAKING YOU MUST LIE ABOUT? - That 'friend' is actually a dealer. Harper was coming to him for cocaine, alcohol, and ketamine. He also "ran into" Irene on that day and had a talk with her... during which he filched about 20 dollars from her bag.

She has been getting the biggest game together and Arnold was a regular at her table. She has heard about almost all of Arnold woes and worries between his drunk blabbering at the bar and his high roller attitude at her poker table. She was there to secure a high priority client for the next big game.

Well, they can track his purchases and see him frequenting her bar. She could give them information that could have been a probable cause (i.e. Him telling her he thinks Irene is cheating, any violent behavior while intoxicated, his love for money, etc.)
