"This is your pilot Priest, speaking. Please keep all arms, legs, and teddy bears inside the wagon at all times. We might be expecting strong, propelling winds and lots of booboos. Helmets buckled, goggles on. Enjoy the ride." The dark skinned girl got into the wagon and made sure the ten year old boy in front of her was secured, seatbelt and helmet on. He held on for dear life to his corduroy bear, Speckle. Priest, herself was just fine unsecured. But she did put a medium sized cardboard box on her head...she didn't have her helmet with her. She patted her elbow and knee pads before reaching out and grabbing the stick that kept the cart from rolling full on down the hill. Giving a thumbs up, she yanked the stick out and jerked forward to get it moving.

The ride started off slow at first but once they hit that max decline, the wagon was racing down the hill. They shot past people and stray animals- it was amazing. The ten year old seemed to be having the time of his life and Priest smiled under her box. She spread her arms out wide as if to embrace the wind and the sunshine of the day. It came to an abrupt end when they suddenly made a very loud collision with a giant garbage bucket and several other bags of trash. Priest went flying out and landed on a pile of trash bags but the kid was safe and cheering to go again. "Uuuuugh..." She groaned. Luckily her box protected her head.

Jason was a little ten year old at the time. He was putting together his newest Lego City Tow Truck when he heard the crash coming from otuside. His curiosity peaked, he walked outside to see what was going on at the moment.

He found the girl laying headfirst in this trash cans. He blinked and walked over to her, tapping her on the shoulder, "What are you doing in the trash..?" He asked her, sitting down next to her and looking at her with an inquisitive gaze.

((Sorry...I'm drawing up blank tonight >.<))

"Ah!" Someonewas talking to her. She wiggled her way out of the cans and bags before looking at the boy and staring at him. She was about nine years old and her long white hair was down to her waist. If floofed out and curled at the ends in one big wind blown mess. Who the heck was this kid? She didn't really know him...was he new to the block....? Was he hiding in the house!? She looked at the house that she could only assume that he emerged from. Priest was a little wary of strangers and their houses so she chewed her lip and moved away from him before trying to run away. She only managed to get a few feet away before she tripped and skinned her knee. She grabbed the wagon handle and lugged the thing all the way back up the hill to the kid's house.

All she could think of was that she had almost talked to a stranger. Her Poppy always said 'stranger danger.' But...maybe...Maybe if she told him her name...they wouldn't be strangers? She went to go find her grandfather who was smoking his old wooden pipe in the living room. "Poppy!" She squeaked. She explained the whole situation before the old man went to introduce her to the family who lived down the block.

"Hello there. Is Jason home? Seems he had a bit of a run in with my grand daughter." He chuckled.

Jason saw the girl all scramble away and he yelped, "Hey, hey please stay back!" He extended his hand, but he wasnt' able to see anything that she was going to do. He sgihed when she was gone.

"I wonder who she was?" He said to himself, then he walked back inside the house and sighed, "Well..." He went back to building up his Lego City Collections.

When the man came over, he looked up. He answered the door and saw him, "Mom!"

His mother walked over, "Oh? Was she what was causing the crashing sounds?"

Priest hid behind her grandfather when the mother put the attention on her. "Crashing- Priest, were you riding that darn wagon again?" It was obvious that she wasn't supposed to as she had shied away even more. He pulled her gently front and center wear she hid in her sweater. She was told not to be rude and to introduce herself. She blushed and teetered on her toes before speaking. "Hi, I'm Priest Waldeburg and I am nine ears old. I'm from Iceland and I like sweets." She said quietly. She noticed Jason and did a little wave. She was still a little shy in her turtle neck sweater with the tacky flower print.

sorry for short post.))

Jason smiled ot her and he looked over at her. In his hand he held the Lego Tow Truck he'd recently gotten, and he held it up, "Hey, I'm Jason Darson and I'm ten years old. I'm from...well I'm from around her. I really love legos." He giggled, then he sat down on a small chair. He looked over at her and wasn't exactly sure where to go from here. His mom knocked his shoulder and he quickly spat out, "w-well....I like TV too! Do you like Spongebob at all?" He asked, looking at Priest with a large smile.

"U-Uhm...uhm...no...but I like...I like Batman..." She said. She giggled and covered her face when he smiled at her. "Uhm...what are Legos....?" Priest had only been in America for so long so she wasn't very familiar. She looked at his truck and played with her sleeves before she felt her grandfather put a hand on her shoulder. "Would you all like to join us for lunch? We're have hotdogs." Priest lit up and bounced on her toes before clinging to her grandfather's leg, and speaking in her native tongue. "Ég vil þrjár pulsur!"

"No. You can have two hotdogs but not three." The grandfather said. The little girl tried bargaining with the old man but he said that no meant no.

He smiled to the grandfather and then he held up his little tow truck, "well tey're little blocks you put together to make stuff!" He giggled, "See? Kinda like building blocks."

Highschool

Priest was now sixteen years old and entering her junior year of highschool. Her hair was floor length and dragged behind her a little bit even when she put it in a ponytail. She was dressed in an oversized sweater with a reindeer on it and green leggings with red galoshes...pretty festive...for September. She looked over at the floor next to her and crouched. "Hello, there. Ah....you're so cute and fuzzy..." She seemed to be gushing over nothing by the bushes. To onlookers, she just looked like a crazy chick.

One of the other kids noticed her and nudged their friend before going over there and pushing her over.
"Who are you talking to, ya freak!?" They laughed. They teased her for a bit longer before walking away. Priest just got up and looked down at her little imaginary friend. "They're just really mean." She said. She licked a scratch on her hand and adjusted her glasses.

Jason put on his flannel shirt overtop his large blue shirt. He smiled and yawned a little, not bothering to the button the shirt. He yawned and arched his back, shaking a little bit.He hadn't gotten a ton of sleep. He'd been up writing MLP fan fiction all night and the sheer amount of lost sleep was catching up to him.

He quickly put his little Pinkie Pie plushie in his pocket, the head poking out, then he walked over to her house. He and Priest were extremly good friend, if a little distant this summer. He gulped, a little nervous and wasn't sure what to say. He looked at her, "Howa re you, Priest?"

"Hashushush!" She walked up to him and took his face in her hands, squishing it. "Where. Have you been...." She asked. "We missed the bus." Priest didn't care but she figured Jason wouldn't want to have to walk the mile and a half to the school. Especially on the first day. She held onto his arm, almost as if cuddling it. "But we can still walk to school together!"

Priest and Jason grew to be close friends over the years but this summer, they had been a little distant. Priest had gotten two jobs to 'help take her mind off the stress of school'. One at a bakery, and another as a delivery girl for a pizza joint. As they walked towards the school, she noticed Pinkie Pie sitting in the pocket of Jason's pants. "Ah! Pinkie!? Haha! I have Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle on my key ring."

"I prefer to be more open with my likes." He smiled, "And sorry, my alarm didn't go off at first. And I stood up really late, so it wasn't really good combo." He looked down and he showed her a Vinyl Scratch in his bag. He chuckled before he slowly made his way over to the sidewalk to walk to school.

Halfway there, he looked into her eyes and he giggled, "so how's your friend?" He was, of course, referring to her imaginary friend. He'd come to accept it over the years and by this point didn't care if she talked about it.

"He's good, he's ready for school too! Right George?" She turned to her imaginary friend. The little thing made some squeaking noises and hopped on one foot to keep up. "He's so excited." She giggled. Priest adjusted her helmet with two little antennae on the top and yawned. She didn't get much sleep either. Too many late deliveries. "Can you believe we're juniors, Jason!? Woooow!!"

"Tell George I said hi." He giggled a little at her antics before he turned on the road towards the school. After a half mile he nodded, "it's definitely a step up, though ACT stuff is gonna start getting to us." He sighed. He adjusted his many bracelets and yawned.

"You're taking the ACT? I registered for the SAT! Awww...we won't get to sit together." She giggled and hopped over the puddles that were made from the rain that fell earlier that morning. She kissed Jason on the cheek and hopped on his back, sitting mostly on his backpack. "Onward, steed!"

He blinked, "that is a disaDvantage, but at least they can't accuse of of cheating! Unless you're a physic!" He held her legs and he began walking them. Midway there, he put her down, "alright, give me a rest."

"Awwww." She let go of him as he put her down but otherwise skipped the last couple of blocks to school. "We made it!" She squeaked. Priest hopped up the stairs, her hair dragging on the ground behind her. Kids kind of started to avoid her before the kids from before walked up and started to pick on her again. Priest wasn't really fazed at all and just continued on her merry way.

He sighed, "well sorry that I haven't lifted foo many weights!" He walked with her, which, as was customary when they were together, it turned into a huge race. He growled when suddenly kids began to try and make fun of her, "hey!" He yelled, saving his arms, "get to class!" He was made fun of twice as much, but suddenly she was no longer being made fun of. He sighed as he was ridiculed, but luckily she was alright, "wait up!" He caught up to her, "sorry, dealing with bullies."

"Don't let the bullies bother you, Jason... It'll only get worse." She told him knowingly. Despite how much she got picked on, she seemed to just be smiling and just carrying on just fine. "Look up there!" Priest was sitting on one of the window sills of the hall and pointing up and into a tree where a blue bird was sitting. The small girl fished through her back pack for her old polaroid camera and snapped a photo of it before it flew away. "Bye, birdie..." She whispered in a dream like tone.

"You're lucky, you have a camera at least. I have a slide phone." He sighed, "It isn't fair!" He looked at the little camera and he stared at her with some envy, "Well tha's a really nice picture, we could probably publish that professionally." He showed her how she managed to get a perfect shot and the little bird was just slightly off center. After that, he helped her get to her first class, "I think we're gonna have to part ways now."

"Nooooo." She pouted. She looked up at him and hugged him tightly before going to sit in the back near the window. It was a very small classroom as the school had tested her and had her put in one of the special needs classes. She didn't have a phone or anything like that because she felt like everyone spent too little time together. Priest missed her friend already and it didn't help that her aid was trying to get her participate in a math lesson.

Sighing, he went to his own science class. He had four classes with her, to his delight, yet he still had to have a few classes seperate from her. He tried his best to focus on the syllabus, but he was still unable to. He just kept thinking of Priest. Over and over again. He wasn't exactly sure what he should do seperate from her, and as such, he continually forced himself to pay attentino.

"Nooo! Don't touch me!" She squeaked. She was being dragged to the office. Mainly to speak with her guidance counselor who was sitting with her grandfather. "She kept making these bird calls. We asked her five times to stop but she just kept going. Mr. Waldeburg...this is the last time we will tolerate this. Either handle this or find another school." Priest looked at her teacher then at her guidance counselor. She didn't even hear them telling her to stop. She didn't want to switch schools! She didn't want to be sent away either. Her grandfather sighed and told them that he would talk to her. They left the office and went to her class room to get her things. He was going to walk her to her next class which was gym.

Jason made his way out of the class and headed over to gym. He stepped into the locker room to change, and instantly regretted it. The boys were meticulous and didn't give him space. It seemed to him like the only purpose was to make him feel like he was worthless. He tried to do so as fast as he could yet he was still ridiculed the entire time.

Finally, he finished and dashed out. He called, "Priest? Priest, you here?"

Priest was sitting alone on the bleachers, dressed in a mini shirt and short shorts in the school colors. She was stroking her long hair which she had put up in a pony-tail. Even though she heard Jason calling, she didn't look over and instead just tried to focus on something else so she wouldn't cry.
