Discluding my own character and @WoodenZebra's, I'm going accept 5 other characters (definitely, because there are so many great ones to choose from!). There are 8 sheets that are up, one impending from M Metalgeardude and one impending from a friend of my co-gm, which brings the total to ten. It isn't supposed to be elitist or anything, but I've always struggled with larger groups and I like to have a cast that works well off of eachother

I feel that really strongly, and totally understand. I'm excited to see what kind of team dynamic this RP ends up having!

Agreed! I’ve read everyone’s CS, and I personally like how each character could play a different role to the team regardless of who actually ends up being part of the team for this roleplay.

I hope you recover safely, I know flu season can be pretty hard. I mean, I dunno if it's even still flu season, but it's still bad anyways.

Omigosh same, I've been like, rereading character sheets and thinking about which ones I'd pick, and how my character might interact with others if she does get picked, so it's been an interesting mental excercise, at least.

Same. I'm pretty sure I've already memorized the bios and personalities of every single character by now, even thought of writing a relationship chart just to pass time. And by thought of I mean actually started it on word but gave up after being called out by the chief res for playing around.

I mean, I'm a firm believer that "magic" is just tech/science we don't understand yet. You think if you show a bic lighter to someone living in Feudal England they wouldn't be convinced it was magic?

The difference is my character actually has to know how it works to do it. He can't just say a spell, he has to know the formula and how it works beyond just creating the effect. And there are more ways it could go wrong. Like if he got hit by an electric attack while forming a gravity dome (as pictured in the manga Choujin Sensen).

I personally find your character’s powers to be one of the most unique and interesting strictly because most people don’t add that kind of twist onto magic, especially if they’re thinking for a roleplay like this. But it’s cool, hard since your char needs to know the formulas and whatnot but still cool.
