JD rubs her back gently and watches her. “They’re still looking into it. Right now all they have are the girl’s statements. They took my dna but it doesn’t sound like they have anything to match it to.”

She just nodded and frowned. “Alright. I will relax when they say the investigation is closed.” She mumbled frowning, feeling dizzy.

JD frowns and holds her close. “Babe lets get you to the hospital.” He murmurs and picks her up. He carries her to the car.

She nodded a little and frowned “can you get your hoodie off the bed please?” She mumbled as she buckled in. “I wanna wear it.” She told him quietly, rubbing her bump feeling the baby moving around a bit.

JD nods and kisses her forehead. He rubs back inside to grab it and heads back to her. He hands it to her when he gets abck and gets in.

She nodded frowning some. “Thank you... Jorge, baby is okay, the baby is just fine honey. I’m just run down.” She mumbled trying to reassure him but the stress had not been good for her at all anyway.

JD frowns and holds her hand tightly as he drives. He was worried about her and the baby. He gets there and helps her out, signing her in and sitting with her in his lap. “Just try to rest.”

She just nodded and leaned into him some more, resting her head on his shoulder smiling some and guiding his hand to where the baby was kicking. “They’re saying daddy calm down.” She mumbled starting to nod off holding onto him tightly

JD rubs the spot softly and smiles at her. He kisses her head softly and rocks her gently. He hears her name called and picked her up, heading to the room and laying her down gently.

She had woken up when they started moving and sat up a bit when he set her down just squeezing his hand a little, waiting patiently for the doctor to come in.

JD holds her hand gently and kisses her head softly. He sits beside her and smiles.

She held his hand tightly, a little worried about what was going on but having him there helped a lot. Once her usual doctor walked in and asked what was going on she began listing off the symptoms she’d started experiencing a couple days ago, starting to get really dizzy again as she talked, frowning some.

JD frowns and holds her hand tightly. He was really scared for what was happening. He wanted her and the baby to be okay.

“Ms. Ramirez... are you alright?” Her doctor asked her quickly as he noticed her zoning out, quickly helping her lay back on the bed a little more before she blacked out and he pressed a call button to get a nurse in there to help. “Mr. Pardo could you stay to the side a little please?” He asked him.

JD frowns and shakes a little. He heads to the side of the room and watches them. He was so scared.

Carmen had started seizing so they quickly moved JD out of the room and got a few more members of staff, shutting the door so he couldn’t go back in for almost an hour.

JD frowns and starts pacing while he waits. He ends up texting her mom to let her know what was going on, figuring they’d want to try and come down to be with her.

Carmen frowned a little as she started coming around again and looked over seeing she was surrounded by doctors and nurses but she couldn’t see JD anywhere and began to panic. “Where is he? What’s going on? I can’t ... what’s wring wth me?” She muttered trying to sit up.

A nurse goes over to her and gets her to lay back down. “You need to relax ms. Rameriz.” She murmurs and gets her to stay laid down. “You have to calm down so we can run some tests.”

She shook her head. “Where’s my fiancé?” She asked getting scared without him there. “What’s wrong with me?” She asked them again still feeling panicked. She knew the baby was okay, she was sure of it.

The nurse frowns. “Ms. Rameriz please. He’s in the waiting room. We are trying to figure out what’s wrong but I need you to be still or I’ll have to sedate you.” She tells her firmly.

She whimpered a little and shook her head trying to calm down but it didn’t seem to make a difference and before she could protest at all she’d blacked out and gone into a second seizure, not waking up after this one.

The nurse frowns and quickly starts working on her with the doctors.

JD sees a doctor come out of her room and rushes over. “What’s going on? What’s wrong with my fiancé?!

He completely ignored him and carried on with what he was doing but carmen came around again a few hours later in a different room this time, looking around her and feeling groggy while she lay there adjusting. She could hear JD talking to a doctor just outside though and she lay there waiting patiently until he came in.

JD frowns and tries to follow after the doctor. “Really!?” He yells after him and soon he was talking to a different doctor. “Is she gonna be okay though?”
