JD nuzzles his face in her neck and holds her close. He didn’t want her to get up. He falls back into a deep sleep soon after.

Carmen held onto him tightly until eventually she fell back to sleep as well only getting up when her third alarm went off.

JD groans, finally waking up. He turns over and then yelps when he lands on his arm wrong. He sits up and groans softly.

She frowned a bit and glanced over at him while she was brushing her teeth just keeping an eye on him for a moment then left him to it while she got dressed and ready for the day

JD rubs his eyes and watches her. He smiles at her and soon gets up to get ready for the day. He heads downstairs after.

“What have you got going on today?” She asked him once she got downstairs and was making some tea.

JD heads over to her and wraps an arm around her. “I’m have to do some online stuff. Just reports about what happened basically.” He murmurs.

Carmen nodded and leaned into him a little mire. “I love you. I got paperwork to do at the office but then I’m home.... and I have an ultrasound appointment this evening.” She reminded him

JD nods and grins. “I can’t wait. Are we finding out the gender?” He asks and nuzzles her neck a little.

She shrugged. “I don’t know if I wanna know.” She pointed out. “I love you.” She murmured and leaned back against him

JD frowns a little. He wanted to know, but if she didn’t, he’d drop it. “I love you too.” He murmurs softly. He kisses her head softly.

“Honey if you wanna know the gender you can find out.” She giggled at his grumpy face. “I was just toying with the idea of not finding out til the baby shower.” She pointed out.

JD shakes his head and kisses her cheek. “I don’t wanna know if you don’t.” He murmurs and plays with her hair.

She nodded a bit and rest her head on his shoulder. “Alright, I better get to work... I’ll call you when I’m on my way home.” She murmured and kissed his cheek.

JD nods a little and watches her. He kisses her head softly and sits down on the couch.

Carmen smiled tiredly and headed off to work, just wanting to get paperwork filed and get back home again.

Josh showed up at their place and frowned some, knocking on the door and waiting for JD to answer. He wasn’t gonna like this but josh was only the messenger.

JD heads the knock and sighs softly. He puts his laptop down and goes to get the door. “Hey Josh.” He moves out of the way so he could get in. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at work?”

Josh frowned some and sighed a bit. “There’s been some complaints filed.... by a couple of the girls in the gang you were undercover in... they’ve reported you for sexual assault.” He told him frowning. “I’m here to take you in for questioning.”

JD frowns. “You’ve gotta be kidding me! You know I didn’t lay a hand on any of them!” He snaps and glares at him. “You really believe them!?”

Josh frowned and sighed. “You know better than anyone else I still have to go through protocol. You’re gonna have to come down to the station with me for questioning.” He muttered and shook his head, gesturing for him to go to the car.

JD grits his teeth and texts Carmen really quick about all this and gets in the car. He couldn’t belive this was happening. Did they find out about him being a cop and this was payback? He leans back and rubs a hand through his hair. They had to believe him over some girls caught up with a gang right?

Josh sighed heavily shaking his head, hoping it wasn’t true but all three girls had come in separately and told him what had happened and asked to press charges but it would likely be an internal affair unless he was proven guilty of it, to keep him and his family safe.

JD glances out the window and then back at josh. “Do you believe them?” He asks and crosses his arms. “And I want the honest answer. Do you think I did anything to them?” He asks. If Josh didn’t even have faith in him, he knew this was gonna be a losing battle no matter what.

Josh frowned and didn’t answer for a moment then sighed heavily. “This hasn’t come across as a set up. And the time lines I’ve got from them, they match Sean’s report.” He muttered and frowned. “Jorge.. it has to be investigated properly.” He told him.

JD shakes his head. “So the answer is yes. You do think I did this.” He sighs and grits his teeth. “Good to know I don’t have any hope on this one. I got a kid on the way and they’re only gonna be able to see me through glass, if Carmen even lets me see them.” He grumbles.
